I ordered two copies of a TV miniseries (Fresno) that had been advertised on their website on April 25, one copy was meant to be given as a Mothers Day present. We received the order confirmation but we never received a shipping confirmation or anything else. Due to a busy schedule, I hadn't had time to investigate until the day after Mothers Day. When I sent an email asking what was going on, I received a form email notifying me of the cancellation of the order with no explanation of any kind as to why. When I sent an annoyed email asking what the deal was, I received a peevish response back saying simply that they weren't able to get this DVD. They never gave an option for back-ordering and the item still appears on their online catalog, now on sale. The "customer service" agent also made a half-hearted attempt at consolation saying that at least we weren't charged and can I imagine how upset I would be if we had been. In short: absolutely no pro-activity or communication skills. This is not the way to run a business and I would advise avoiding this company.
