I had purchased a series from this company on Nov. 27,2007 and waited for my tracking number in a email. After a few days i didn't receive it I tried to contact them with the number 18777tvshow that was listed on my printed receipt. I got an answering machine for a company named DVD Avenue. Left a message anyway and gave it a few more days. I emailed them and still no response. I tried calling again today and no one answered again so I looked up the Avenue site and called them. The lady then proceeded to tell me that she gets all kinds of calls for Donkey and they are no way affiliated with them. So I called my credit card company threw Bank of America to report fraud. I had to cut up my card and they are issuing me a new one and reimbursing me the money as long as I fill out the paper work and send it back in to them when I receive my card. So if you can I would do the same thing. I hope this helps anyone out and I wish I new how to get this information out to the rest of the world so they don't make the same mistake I did. Especially at this time of year!!! Merry Christmas.

I had the feeling it was as you are telling and started to search and you are so right ! dvddonkey is a Scam!! First suspicion was because they want you to tell them the number that is behind the credit card. And that's not right. They would be able to use your credit card whenever they wanted to.

Please, tell me if you do not understand me because English is not my language. Thank you!

I totally agree with every complaint that I have read. I only wish that I knew this before getting on that damn website. They all should be locked up. If I have anything to do with it, they will no longer be advertising anything. How can this still be on the web. STOP, DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE FRAUDS. THEY NEED TO BE JAILED.

I agree. I had ordered 2 DVD sets from DVDDonkey.com over a month ago. A few days later, I decided to add another set to my order, so I called them and could hardly understand anything the woman said. But I could understand that she said she would cancel my first order, refund my credit card, and then put in a new order including the additional set so that I could save on shipping. I wasn't suspicious because the very next day my credit card was refunded the first order amount and then the new order amount was charged. However, I have not received items, and I have contacted them by email and left messages that I was cancelling my order and requested a refund in full. I have gotten no reponse and now the 1-877-7TV-SHOW number has a recording on it that the number is temporarily unavailable. I have reported the matter to my credit card company and they said I must give the company 30 days to refund my money. They have started an investigation into the company. My suggestion - we all get together in each of our states and go straight to the television stations and have them broadcast our concerns so that everyone can be warned. You can go to www.ic3.gov and learn more about Internet fraud and also place a complaint with them (they are a division of the FBI that investigates Internet fraud).
