dropping advertising in two books
Complaint Rating:
Company information: Shampooch Pawtucket, Rhode Island United States
2007 a sales rep came to our business. We chose to advertise in the small East Bay book as this option offered two free ads in books distributed to areas in and around where our dog grooming business is located. The following year we received a letter stating we could renew, and no contact was needed unless there was going to be any changes. When the 2008 books came out we were not in the books that offered us the best exposure, and to make matters worse there was another dog grooming business listed Shampoochie, but not ours. Many of our customers thought we had gone out of business. I called customer service (and that is a joke) to tell them what their company did, and they offered to give us internet exposure of course costing us additional expense. I was very angry, and after much arguing they offered to give a credit for the following year of advertising. I told them I would not want to advertise with them again as this had been the second time they had messed up. The very first year of business they screwed up too. I choose not to pay the bill and now they have handed it over to a law firm. I have nothing good to say about this company
