My husband and I bought a vehicle at Airport Suzuki in Irving TX (another big headache) in April, 2007. We got pushed into a vehicle we were not interested in at all! We told them we did not want a car payment of more than $325 a month so we could actually live somewhere other than the vehicle. We never got a contract and the co-buyer we used ended up not having a drivers license so the car buying experience was less than smooth. After 2 months we received our payment statement to our "surprise" it was $400. I called and talked to an "account manager" they told me that's what you get when you are a dead beat! I told them that I would NOT pay that much for a piece of crap car that is only by the way worth $7000.00 brand new, we paid $17,200.00 after all the charges. I refuse to pay that amount, so they call numerous times a day! One gentleman even wanted to talk to my husband while he was on the potty. Hopefully everyone that has gotten SCREWED without KY will get together and sue the HELL out of these ###!

Drive Financial has also bank rolled me with hidden fees, what I do understand is that our payments go into a lock box, so my guess is that our payments are being posted late. it is sad. I would like to be part of a class action lawsuit agaist them. I am tired of getting phone CALLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS all day long and my friends are getting these calls. Drive Financial will some how add an extra 5000.00 dollars to your car payment before you have it paid off. and they refuss to work with you. or explain why they add these charges
KEEP YOU PAYMENT HISTORY, YOU WILL NEED IT TO PROVE YOU HAVE PAID THESE ###...

This company constantly calls you when you are one day late. The calls continues even after you make payment arrangements with them. This company have called my home number, work number, mobile number, my wife's work number, and mobile number two to three times daily after we made payment arrangements with them until the date of the arrangement. In one instance, this went on for a period of three weeks.

I have been informed by a consumer advocate attorney that this know as beng "Harassment." If anyone have experience this type of harassment from this company, please email me with your contact information.

I have had my car for 3 years, and have made 37 payments. When looking at my payment history, I see all sorts of misc. fees. There are columns that show, principle, interest, charges, and then misc. charges. I have been late a few days once or twice (since i have to mail my payments since they charge over 10 bucks to pay online) and those late fees have been posted in the charges column. Noone in cust service can explain to me what the misc. charges are. I have noticed when I pay more then my car payment, the additional amount goes in to the misc charges column so it never really brings down my principle any extra. Also, the amount that they are charging for interest out of my payment is crazy. For instance, I pay 461.66 a month for my car. The last payment I made took $255 off my principle but $205 in interest. A few months before that $115 off my principle and $347 in interest. How can the interest not be going down at a steady pace, or at least staying the same and the principle amount staying the same?

In the past year (1/1/08-1/1/09) I paid them $6351, they took off $3129 in principle and $3014 in interest, and then the charges says $164 and the misc charges says $208? The charges are late fees, like i said I have been late a day or two here and there from mailing checks late...

How am I still paying almost 50% of my payments in interest when my loan was for 17% interest and I have been making payments for 37 months?

I purchased a vehicle from Holmes Motors in D'Iberville, Ms Feb. 2007 they unfortunately got me financed through Drive Financial this has been the modt horrible experience ever. They are constnantly calling all hours of the night and insisting that I owe money for payments that have already been paid. I have my receipts that were sent by money gram and they insist that so much went to interest and I still owe them and all kinds of stuff. I just really hate I'm into this but I need to know if there is a way out? I have been talking with my bank to see if I can refinance the car through them or someone I can trust. Every time you call you speak to someone different and can never speak to the person that initially called you and told you one thing it's always " I'm on the phone now and I can help you, you can talk to me or no one." That's not the way you talk to your customers. I even ask for a physical address for the place and they say they cant give that information out. Why ? I dont know what to do but as I viewed online the stories, experiences, and complaints that people have voiced I hate I got into this but I want them reported to BBB and anyone else that can take these people out.

This company has been a pain in my back side since I recieved my loan. I have been constantly called and just want to scream at these people every time I hear their name. I have requested to have a supervisor talk to me and have been transferred too many times. I now have this company calling my work. I also work in a call center and would never give the cs these people give. thank-god for trainning. They have went past rude several times and now I just let them talk to my husband. I guess their not impressed with his language. He's called everyone he's talked to a this, that, and diffenently some others. They now will only deal with me and stop calling my house. I hope they come and get the truck I have and wait patiently with the smile. I am amazed that after this long they really won't come and get the thing. My credit report dose'nt reflect any of the problems i had. The fact that I have asked for extensions and was told I had one. Then got the bill saying it was'nt approved. It only put me 1500.oo behind. Drive financial has made money off my account by lying and in esse4nce stealing my money.

My husband and I went to Blue Ribbon Auto Center in Roland Oklahoma to purchase a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan on May 20 2008. On that day we took financial paperwork they said they needed to finalize the financing and we traded our old van for $2000, because that is what Drive want down to finance the 2006 or so Blue Ribbon said. At this point we think everything is okay and the financial manager tells us we will receive our papers in the with in 14-days, well that never happened. Because the day before the temporary tags were to expire I went to Blue Ribbon and asked them what was going on, and then I was informed BR could not reissue me another temporary tag. We got concern after the dealership kept giving us the run around. Well Jul 11, 2008 calls my husband asking for a payment on the 2006 van for Jun 19, 2008, my husband told them that he would not give them a payment because we did not have contract or an account number to reference anything to verify what he was telling us was true. Also at this point we don't have the title to get the van register in our name either. So like so many of you have said in your complaints they have been calling my husband at work harassing him many times of the day and hanging up on him also. So Jul 15, 2008 went to a lawyer with this information we have. Our lawyer tried to call Drive Financial to ask was going on but couldn't get thru, b/c we didn't have the account number so the automated system said to use the SS# and every time the lawyer tried my husbands SS# it would not take it because it did not have it in their system. So some how they are able to demand payment even though we were not in their system. So with advice of our lawyer he told us to return the vehicle, to which we did. Starting Jul 17, 2008 the rudeness and the harassment phone calls have started coming in. The catcher is that Drive Financial sent us a decline letter for our contract because they said they had return the contract because Blue Ribbon would send the information they needed, and letter was dated Jul 7, 2008 we got Jul 16, 2008 and their Collection Dept. called Jul 11, 2008. Needless to say Blue Ribbon is the 1st to be in court, next will be Drive Financial. Drive denies sending the decline letter but I have it in my folder right now. I will post back with the results. If you to know more e-mail me.

I purchased a vehicle in April '08. I had to get the vehicle co-signed by my grandmother which already made me feel bad because the deal was done kind of shady being that we live in two seperate states. After purchasing the vehicle, I started to read the complaints posted on here and felt skeptical about this company. But I did like I was supposed to and made my car payments on time always. Well still having bad feelings about Drive, I traded the vehicle in before my September payment was do. The dealership got a payoff quote from Drive and was told by them that they had a 10 day grace period to mail in the payment. Well this week me and my grandmother both received phone calls stating that the car payment was late. I explained to the girl on the phone who was very rude that I no longer had the vehicle and she told me to call the dealership to see when they were going to send them the payoff check. First of all I told her I felt that was not my responsibility to call the dealership when all arrangements were made with them and the dealership in the first place. And after me politely hanging up on this rude customer service rep. I called the dealership and got the information they needed and called Drive back which was on Monday. Well here we are today is Wednesday and here I am being harrassed again this time around they want me to have the dealership call them to make payment arrangements. This company's employees are so unprofessional and rude. My advice to anyone far as Drive Financial goes. "No matter how bad you may need a car, if the deal is going real shady and your having gut feelings that things just aren't right back away from that deal. There are lots of honest companies out here that will finance you." Even the dealership where I purchased my new vehicle said how much of a rip off this company is.

We had gotten behind on payments. I called; made arrangements and fulfilled these arrangements. Drive Financial called...I talked to the person, told her we would make the current payment as soon as possible. She was very nice and stated it would be noted on our account. Drive Financial continues to call... I spoke to them a few minutes ago and was told that it was an 'automated call' and they would continue to call. When I answer these automated calls it is dead silence. These people call my husband's place of employment. They call my sister constantly and have even given our account information to her. This was after she told them to stop calling her and she would give me their message. Is there something that can be done to at least limit these calls? This is ridiculuous.

This company decides when to charge additional fees to their discretion without notice to the buyer. I ADVISE ALL " DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM DRIVE FINANCIAL" BEWARE OF LOANS AND RIPOFFS. My son had my wifes car impounded for driving without a license and the bank was notified. I had several thousands of dollars to pay for tickets and fines, and thanks to DRIVE they added 2k more to that bill. I was told by the P.D that the car was moved to another location at the request of the lein holder. I contacted Drive to find out the reason. They informed me that it was to protect their investment, fair enough... Then I was told that the fees would be waved for extra towing and storage charges. THAT WAS A LIE. A person by the name of Lekesha told me this by phone and I verified it with her multiple times. But of course, the thieves were at it again and changed their minds and charged me extra. Now, I trade this car in and receive a 15 day payoff from them send in the payment and on the same day they receive a payment in full they decide to take 896.00 out of my bank account. Guess what I have to wait 30 days for reimbursement from these CROOKS! What ever you do do not buy FROM THESE CROOKS, you'll be sorry.

I am a business owner with a nationally known insurance company. My office has been receiving harassing phone calls from Drive Financial, we have explained to the collector that the person they are looking for does/has not ever worked in my office.

We continue to receive harassing phone calls weekly. We answer the phone and get hung up on, they call repeatedly within a few minutes. We have gotten to the point when their name comes up on our caller ID we do not even answer the phone. What part of we do not want you calling our office any more is Drive Financial not getting.

Please include me if there is a lawsuit. I have been with drive for 2 years now and have had nothing but horrible service from them. You never get the same person twice when you call and if you ask for a so calls supervisor you get the guy the next phone over I am sure.

I was trying to better myself and save my home from foreclosure so I declared bankruptcy well the case was dismissed by the courts due to some numbers not working for the bank, well drive came and reposed my car with not so much as a letter or phone cal asking if I wanted to bring the account current. I would have been glad to pay them as it was my lawyers suggestion to add them to the case. They have told me they could not contact me because of being in bankruptcy, but if the case was dismissed then I was no longer in bankruptcy and they should of called. They one thing that really pi**es me off is they sent the repo company to my wifes place of employment and snatched the vehicle from there, leaving her embarrassed and having to answer everyones questions, not really knowing what was happing herself.

I then get a letter saying I can pay 400 dollars and reinstate my contract so I call them only to hear I have been lied to again and I have to pay 4000 dollars. The excuse this time was the letter is computer generated and they can do nothing about it, I told em turn the computer off then and honor what their company mails out. But they just enjoy ruining lives I guess.

I financed my 2003 Mustang through the dealer--they had poor credit financing, which I needed since I cosigned on my daughter's car several years ago & it got repode & you know what happens after that! The dealer assured me that Drive Financial was a good, reliable company to work with. Boy--were they wrong! Not only did the dealership go under (now being investigated for fraud, deceptive practices & other lovely things by the FBI) I have a void service contract with no way of getting it taken off the loan, or getting a refund on what I've paid already. Drive Financial does not credit payments when sent--right now they say I owe over $1100, even though I sent them a record of all the payments I have made since I bought the car. My records (and those of the credit union) say I only owe $374.40 for this month's payment. Where & how can a person report something like this--all this crap is going on my credit report & it's not true! I can't afford to spend millions of dollars on credit reports, lawyers, etc. to get this fixed! Something needs to be done before too many other people get ripped off.

I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND SPOKE WITH A COUPLE OF VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS. THEY ASK ALL YOUR LIFE HISTORY INFORMATION BEFORE THEY TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT THEIR ACCOUNT. ONE ASKED TO CONFIRM HOW MUCH I PAID FOR DOWNPAYMENT AND I TOLD HER AND SHE SAID YOU SHOULD HAVE PURCHASED A NEW CAR CASH. WELL TO MAKE IT SHORT, THEY DO NOT DO DEFERRMENTS AND THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO TALK TO THEIR COLLECTIONS, MY ACCOUNT HAS TO BE IN COLLECTIONS BEFORE I CAN CONNECT WITH THEM. HOW CAN I GET OUT OF THIS MESS WITH THEM. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND RUDE. THEY ASKE SO MANY PERSONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR LIFE THAT THEY ARE PRYING INTO PERSONAL INFORMATION. I MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT IN SEPTEMBER AND AND WISHING EVERY DAY TO PLEASE HURRY THE MONTHS TO PASS SO I CAN GET OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM

On January 31, 08 I had totaled my vehicle after losing control of it on the ice and rolled it. Unfortunately I just had liability insurance on the vehicle so the insurance will not cover the accient, I had struggled to pay the full cover premium after being laid off from my employer of 14 years and 8 months being unemployed. I was fully aware that I should have had full coverage since Drive was the lienholder of the car. What surprizes me that Drive in no way followed up to see if I had full coverage...and if I didn't comply that they did not cover it thru their insurance like other financial institutions do.

Now since I have had the accident, Drive has taken their sweet time to take possession of the recked vehicle from the towing company to make an assessment of what can be salvaged and to apply that to my balance of the payoff, to date it has been almost 3 months. Since the the towing company has had no response from Drive, the State Patrol has issued a letter stating that the vehicle has been abandoned and that charges can be made to me if something wasn't done in 30 days.

Drive representatives continually call me stating that they will repossess the vehicle if I don't catch up with my payments. My response to them is go right ahead...it has been totalled, don't you read the notes in my file? I feel that I shouldn't be subjected to their collection efforts since they have not given me the respect of taking care of a settlement first.

I have countlessly called Drive to speak with a lady who seems to know what she is doing regarding my account and every time that I call I fight with who ever answers my call. They will not forward me to the extension that she has given me. Today when I called I told the person that if they did not forward my call to the requested extension that I would just hang up on them. He was very rude and demanded for me to make an enormous payment to them.

I have read quite a few of the complaints regarding Drive on this website and would have to agree with many that these people need to be taken out of business. I would love to hear from someone who would has dealth with having legal assistance against this company. I'm seriously considering seeking legal advise.

Tried to get answer from company about a special situation with a buy back from carmax but kept getting sent to the same department where they spoke little english and were very rude. they could not or were not willing to talk or help in any way. I would hope in the future that this company learn from these mistakes but I doubt it will. The customer service department only wants to accept payments and doesnt want to help out in any other way. There has to be around the beaurocracy but I dont know if they know what is going on or they just want to give you the runaround

COMMUNICATION: Their communication sucks! I have advised them on numberous occassion that they are not to call me at my employers telephone number, which they have continued to do. And not to mention give a different name and company that they are calling on behalf of. Keep an ear out for EDWIN, not a good representative. All i have to recommend to you all that have them as a lender is DOCUMENT! DOCUMENT! AND DOCUMENT the time, date, and type of conversation and details that you have had with them. Cause there are so manyFDCPA violations there that its nto even funny! And people, don't get scared with their threats and verbal attacks. I hope that with all the complaints our there that they get noticed for all their violations. Keep reporting people. Our voice will be the bigger person in all this!

This company's customer service *** they do not want to hear any thing you have to say. You can't stick with one representative, when you call you deal with one then when you call back you have to deal with someone different because "they are unable transfer you to the one you all ready talked to" so you have to repeat every thing you just talked about with the previous one. I feel that they should be put out of business. You should not have to deal with this crap.

I obtained an auto loan through AAA and a local bank. It was eventually sold to Santandera which is operated by Drive Financial. Recently I have been about 35 days late on the loan due to my husband’s deployment (army/military) to Iraq and our loss of income. I have been working hard on the finances and catching up and the fact that payments are being made and the time frame between payments is closing in is evidence of that.

Each time someone calls to collect information regarding the late payment I need to re-explain my situation. It is tiring and futile. I have asked again and again that they record the ‘story’ so that I not need to re-tell it! I understand that they need to call, but this is just getting ridiculous. These people have no compassion. When I am asked what my reason is for not paying (do I ‘owe’ them a reason. I have begun to ask what the last person recorded as my previously stated reason, and it has never resembled what I said. Last time I spoke to the company (last week), I asked to speak to a manager.

The manager used a rude tone of voice and demanded that I call in 10 days and inform him of a plan of payment. I asked him if he wanted me to call him even if I didn’t have the money to pay because that would mean I did not have a plan of payment.

He said that he did not care what I had to do borrow the money or whatever that I needed to pay the bill. I’m talking a month behind here on a 6 year old minivan! Holy cow! I told him I had no intention of borrowing money and I was wondering if he wanted me to call him in 10 days even if I didn’t have the money he became livid and gruff and told me that I was being difficult, etc. Oh, he was very angry.

I told he the fact that he was demanding payment, and that the fact that his people were calling me and expecting me to re-explain my situation time and again was harassment. This didn’t seem to faze him. At any rate, I did set up payment. He agreed to waive the late fee as there had been an error on his company’s part due to their putting in the wrong bank acct but alas, I checked my bank acct today, and I was charged a late fee anyway. go figure. I will call the company tomorrow and see if I can get it waived, though I am sure I will only be met with more hostility. Not a fun company to work with.

I have sent $300.00 in payment toward my car payment. They never applied any of it toward my payment. They applied $200 toward something else. The $100.00 they claimed it was not received. I have proof it was. I suggest people contact your Governor, Senator, and House of Representative. City Officials, write, call and bombard there office with complaints, this company has to be stopped.

My balance should be $0. I found they added an additional payment. Send complaints to the Attorney General Of Texas. Give detailed information. I was told by one of their own people they had been holding my payments. I told there customer service agents they need to leave this company. We must not give up. We can stop this company. But we must do it together. They also call you after payments are made. Day and night.

I understand I also went through drive but made the mistake of getting two vehicles at the same time. One of the vehicles ended up being a lemon and when I went through the dealership to get them to replace my vehicle with another that is when I found out that I had payed more than the suggested retail sticker price by at least 3, 000 dollars. If it gives you any comfort I was never able to pay off the last vehicle and they have been looking for it for a while now and have not gotten it.

Drive Financial is in the business of taking advantage of people a long with Bill Heard Chevelet on Barret Parkway in GA. First of all they tried to get me to by a car that I was not interested in. Then they tried to get me to increase my down payment with no explanation. The dealership told me to accept the higher car payments and then I would be able to refinance later. What at choke. I'm stuck with payments of more than 700.00 a month and no matter how much you try to negotiate with Drive Financial, they only care about one thing. THE MONEY!. They call and harrass you, cal all of your contact me and yet they consistently do not make any attempt to hold of their end of the bargain. Lesson well learned! If at all possible do not do business with these unscrupilous company.

I financed an automobile with this company 30 months ago. I financed 18K with payments of 479 per month. After paying more than 14K With no missed or late payments, I found that I still owe 13K on this loan. The company refuses to refinance or negotiate with me to lower the amount owed. I feel totally helpless.

I always mail my payments approximately two weeks early, but they are apparently processed approximately two weeks pat due date, as I receive harassing phone calls/messages. Illegal fees are added to my account. I don't recall why I chose Drive, but I'll remember not to do business with this company again.

This business is DIRTY! I called and made a payment via phone. They transferred the money to my ex-husband's account even though I specifically asked that the money I sent was to be directed to MY account. When I called about this matter, they said, "Well, your ex-husband's behind on his car payment so we just put the money there instead of yours." As a result, I got behind on MINE! I'm FURIOUS!

They are a last resort for car loans - no doubt about it - and they thrive on that fact. THEY ARE LOAN SHARKS - NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT EITHER. I like their little "get acquainted" phone call at the beginning of the loan - just to make sure they know where to find you/your car, should they need to send out one of their hulks. At a time in need, I dealt with them because I needed a car loan.

Never, ever again.

They are criminals and something must be done. We must contact the FEDS, The TV, stations, the newspapers. Get the word out on the internet. They are crooks. They said they lost my payment the lady seemed to be happy about it. I wired the money to catch up but I think they are still charging me. They did not contact me until 16 days later to tell me about the payment being lost. I have money order receipts to prove I have the payment.

ALL OF THE BINDING AND LEGAL DOCUMENTS FOR MY CAR LOAN WERE INCORRECT. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY LEGAL AIDE THAT TECHNICALLY MY AUTO LOAN THAT I SIGNED FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS FOR IS NOT BINDING DUE TO THE INCORRECT FINANCIAL INFORMATION THEY HAVE IN THEIR SYSTEM.

I received a bill from Santander Consumer for my car payment bill. I wasnt notified that Drive Financial was switching companies. Since I was paying the car note since November 2004 and I will be finish paying it in November 2009 and they switch what is this all about?

I agree with the complaints about Drive Financial...I purchased a vehicle last May..it took me 2 months to get my paperwork. The 10.95 to make a payment on the website is ridiculous.
