I purchased a 2002 Ford Taurus 8 months ago and I was financed by Drive Financial and insured by Nationwide which was all set up by the dealer at the car lot where I purchased the car, Car Traders of Chipley Florida. The A/C never did work quite right, to make a long story short, the cars airconditioner compressor caught on fire and burned the compressor up and some belts. Due to the fact the car was still operable at that time we were instructed by the Marianna Police Dept. and the Marianna Fire Dept. (in which both were present) to remove the vehicle immediately for everyones safety, we drove the car home and it sat in the yard. The Insurance company would not do anything because it was not involved in an accident. So I called Drive and told them I was doing a voluntary repossession and explained everything to them and they were very ugly to me and said that they were not going to come and get the vehicle and I also called and faxed a letter of cancellation to my Insurance Co., and turned my tag to highway patrol, drivers licenses in Marianna. I also contacted the Ford Company and they told me I would have to pay for them to look at the vehicle. If there is something I can do or something yall could do I would appreciate it. I paid faithfully on my payments to them and the 115.00 amonth full coverage insurance came right out of my checking acct. monthly. Now I am without a vehicle, credit shot, you name. Thank you
Sincerely
