I joined Dream Mates on October 2, 2009. I sent $49.95 in order to join for 3 months. It was to renew at $14.95 after 3 months. After completing my profile and trying to add a photo, I waited a few days to check back with the site. It states it might take up to 72 hours before a photo is posted. It also states not to resubmit the photo. After checking back with the site a few days later, my photo still wasn't posted. I tried to contact them but didn't see a way to email them so I sent a hand written letter to their physical address in Florida. I told them I was not happy with the site and I did not want my membership renewed at the end of the 3 months. I failed to send it certified so I have no way of knowing if they received my letter or not. I've yet to hear anything from this site online or otherwise. After almost a month, my photo still has not been posted even after several attempts to submit it. I want to concel my membership effective immediately. Am I entitled to a refund? How can someone cancel a membership when the company doesn't acknowledge the person at all?
