I had a botched lip augmentation...my lips are permanately hard as a rock and very stiff...I also have very bad burning sensations. I have to put up with this for the rest of my life. They also look HORRIBLE!! I wouldn't recommened anyone to have any cosmetic plastic surgery by this guy. He is a QUACK!!!

He's horrible. He wrecked my friend's nose. She looks like Michael Jackson, but of course we all tell her she looks great. He really hurt her feelings and told her she needed a chin implant, too. Now she has a complex. Her chin is FINE. Also, ask around town (or ask his wife!) about his affair with a STRIPPER (She was in her early 20s! He's almost 50!) that went on for years. No guy with a mistress decades younger than himself cares about middle aged women who are aging or respects women in general. Look around his office, not one man works there, and not one of his staffers are unattractive. He's a pig. He's an awful person and a horrible surgeon. I feel bad for his wife. We went to one of his office parties a few months ago and saw her - she's an awful little squat woman who puts up with that jerk while he hits on his staff and any semi attractive woman around him.

I had what DR. Clevens called the gold standards in laser treatment which left me with white hard bumps all over my face, I also have bad discoloration all over my face. I am very unhappy with the outcome.

I spent $25, 000 for a face lift and chin inplant that he said I needed and my husband say's I look way older since I had the face lift, and I agree. He said he would get rid of the jowels and they are so much more promanet now than they were before. And when I went back to him he would do nothing about them. My husband says he is a quack. And I agree as do all my friends including Kelly Palmer, and all my other friends that had cosmetic surgery with him. And their first names are Dawn, Ernie, Mickey, MJ and so many others. so think twice before going to him for cosmetic surgery...Please

Although I agree we should all have the right to voice our opinion's, especially when it comes to Facial Cosmetic Surgery, why do you feel the need to disrespect Dr Cleven's Wife and Staff... I for a fact know that 80% of all the Facial Cosmetic Patients are women and feel most comfortable when dealing with other women. Dr Clevens Staff have been with him some for well over 10 years...Which tells me he is doing something right...I also know for a fact they have all had surgery by Dr Clevens and are much older than they appear, which also tells me he is doing something right...I truly believe you should research your Doctors credentials and his Surgical Reputation and not the Doctors personal life...we all have demons in our closets!!!
As far as his wife, why would you call her a "aweful little squat woman"????? That makes no sense...your asking Dr Clevens to employ men and less attractive women and you have the nerve to call his sweet, giving, and loyal mother and wife a Squat???

I am AMAZED by all of these negative comments. Dr. Clevens is TERRIFIC. I was a patient of his 10 or 12 years ago. He has hands like a god! All of my friends have been SO PLEASED. He did my facelift, eyes and nose and I still look a decade younger than I really am. He's the best. People come from all over the country to see him. He is the best.

This site is really appalling. I WORK for Dr.Clevens and have for several years and am TOTALLY insulted by the things that I am reading. The women in our office range in age from 34-75 and represent a diversity of ethnicities and sizes. We all take pride in looking our best and putting our best foot forward. I challenge you to take a look around ANY medical office….how many men do you see working at the front desk, as a nurse, as the insurance specialist? Is your pediatrician a “pig” if he does not employ any men…how about your OBGYN?? Is it possible that in an office that caters mostly to women…that we have a female staff to put our patients at ease? On that note, Dr.Clevens is respectful and professional at work. He fosters an environment of hard work, mutual respect, and excellent patient care. He has NEVER made an inappropriate gesture towards any of our staff members or patients. This accusation is simply ridiculous.

I would hope that any readers of this site would have the common sense to be able to identify that the person who has written this is stooping to the lowest levels possible to discredit an excellent surgeon. In addition to making false accusations that are malicious and hurtful to his wife, his LOYAL staff …and THOUSANDS of happy patients.

It really is deplorable that anyone can write whatever they want on a website... and hide behind a ficticious name...and not be held accoutable for their lies.

I was thinking about going to dr. clevens to have some surgery until i did some research and read the negative comments on him. NOt only on this site but many others. Looks like a lot of people got screwed by him and more people are coming forward from what I have been reading and researching. I feel for you all by the way and it's good to know so I don't go to him and have the same experiences. For those of you who did have great experiences then you were just the lucky ones that were fortunate not to get screwed. I really don't feel that these peoples negative comments are lies. It's obvious they all had some bad experience. If you had a good one, why would you say those kinds of things. I'm sure most of the positive comments are from the people that know him/having affairs with him and who work in his office. :) I know one thing is for sure I would not want to go to a doctor knowing that he has been having affairs on his wife with strippers and so fourth. It just shows what kind of person he is; a person you cannot trust. BOTTOM LINE

So no one is denying he had an affair with a stripper? Nobody? LOL. Because it's true. What kind of man does that? He's a lecher and a pervert. I wouldn't want to be around a man like that, much less trust him to cut up my face when I'm sedated. Doesn't he operate on teenage girls? :( And what kind of woman stays with him - she was very nasty to my friend and I at his open house before her surgery. Treated us like second class citizens. We didn't think much of it until we knew who she was months later. I don't feel sorry for her. She's the laughingstock of Brevard and chooses to be by staying with him. We didn't find out about any of this affair stuff and all his unhappy patients until after her surgery when she became very unhappy with her nose and we started doing deeper research than where he graduated from. She went to him because he has a great reputation, but aren't authors only as good as their last book? Aren't actors only as good as their last movie? He's off his game.

He employs women 34-75? NO men? Not one? Isn't the 34 year old his "personal assistant"? What are HER qualifications?

Lots of people go to him and are happy, but if you search the internet you will find plenty of people who are unhappy with their experiences with him. I would take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other surgeons. Why go to someone with this kind of reputation?

I can totally identify with what you are saying. I too went to Dr. Clevens and had a very similar experience and not a pleasant one at that. I had white bumps on my face and they would not go away. I actually did go back for follow up visits and to my dismay the response I received from this Dr. Clevens was maybe it is the soap you are using. I had discussed the products I was using prior to the procedure and that did not seem to be an issue. I discussed in detail what to expect after the procedure, white bumps were not something he brought up. After the procedure the white bumps appeared and I kept informing and showing these to him, His response is try another brand of soap. Also sold me over $300.00 worth of product. They did absolutely nothing for the bumps. I gave up with this Dr. Clevens and went to see another Dr, just to make sure I was getting the right information from Dr, Clevens. Needless to say I stayed with the other Dr. who needed to repair the outrageous job Dr. Cleven did. So to put it bluntly it had nothing to do with my skin, I was told by the Dr. who had to repair Dr. Clevens job. It just was a lousy procedure and follow up care. I am thrilled to death with the perfect results I now have, But, once again it had nothing to do with Dr. Clevens. I would not recommend him for any type of procedure.

I am interested in having facial plastic surgery and researched many doctors and ran into many complaints on this doctor. I am totally appalled that this doctor is still in business from what I have been reading. It's AMAZING that doctors get away with this kind of stuff and still remain in business. It's very scarry. It makes me think twice about having plastic surgery.
I was also appalled with the people that had a positive experience are tearing into the ones who had bad experiences. We all have a right to our opinions but COME ON! just because a doctor is known to be a great doctor does NOT mean he cannot make mistakes, and be great and satisfying to someone else. HELLLLLOOOOOOO!!! AND, if a doctor makes mistakes and/or if the patient is not satisfied, I believe that it's his duty to do everything he can to FIX and HELP the patient. It sounds like he is only out for peoples money and is not a good plastic surgeon>>>> Where's the so called excellent patient care?????? I don't see it, sorry. I wouldn't trust him and I'd rather be safe than sorry.Im sure I'll get teared apart for putting my two cents in. haha

It didn't stop him from hitting on me and suggesting he, she and me have a threesome :) what a pervo! I should hit him up for some free surgery. Blackmail!
