Dr Dental Waterbury review: Poor customer service 1

STAY AWAY! This office has POOR SERVICE & WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The bottom line is they want your money.
My child is a college student without dental insurance. She went to Dr Dental for a cleaning & x-rays during May, 2012. While she was away at college I tried to get her dental records transferred from Dr Dental, Waterbury to another dental office because my child had a cavity that needed prompt work. The X-rays and notes make be helpful for the other dentist. Her Dr Dental account was paid in full since the day of cleaning.
I requested these records and was told they needed a 24 hour notice. When I went to pick up the records they were not ready. I waited and was told only then a fee was needed.
I called the next day. The office manager, Tonya wanted more money from me to release these records. When I tried to get some additional information she told me she would not release the records to me all and she hung up on me. She was rude. Apparently HIPAA privacy laws were violated because I am not allowed to obtain these records without my daughter's consent, which she later released.
I emailed the owner Kayne over a week ago and he has not replied although I left multiple contact options.
My daughter went elsewhere and got her third x-ray within a year and work done that probably should have been scheduled in May, due to Dr Dental incompetence and lack of cooperation.
I will be staying away from this office and it's rude office manager Tonya.
