I inquired as to whether the site had a piece of software I was looking for. The site claimed to have this software. During the joining the process I was told that the site processed Credit Card details through an 'Adult' web site but that this was a one time charge of $5.95 USD. Immediately on joining I searched for the software and discovered that the site did NOT have the software I was looking for. I immediately contacted them through their website (no phone or email contact - just a contact via their help page!!) to terminate the membership.

Since then I have received monthly charges amounting to $100 USD each month from organizations calling themselves DVDPAS; DWTUBE; RPPASS and VIATY. These charges have been placed direct to my credit card from organizations I know nothing about.

It also appears that my email address has been provided to a number of internet spamming organizations and I am now receiving pornographic e-mails. I have made repeated requests to have this terminated without any response from the organization.

I JUST SIGNED UP FOR THIS YESTERDAY AND QUICKLY REALIZED IT WAS AN ADULT SITE. IF I CANCELL MY DEBIT CARD CAN THEY STILL TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF THE BANK LATER? COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME. I WASNT AWARE THAT I WAS SIGNING UP FOR ALL THE OTHER CRAP.

Well I just searched on google for DownloadNova because it shown a wrong file. I mean I was looking for a document and did not found it. The only site that seemed to have it was DownloadNova. But there was a problem that made me suspect the site. I was looking for a text file(txt) and instead I found 'text file' ISO(which is a virtual image) 'text file' 2009(?) 'text file' TRUSTED DOWNLOAD etc. What the hell?

I'm glad that there are people who care about other people and help them. Especially when the internet is becoming a wild world. Thank you for your comments!

PS: ZoneAlarm ForceField also warned me that it's a scam site so I recommend using this kind of software(or you can try freeware like McAfee SiteAdvisor)

Regarding my last - When cancelling read the fine print - you have to click on the RED button, otherwise you are just signing up for a cheaper version of the same site!

Unfortunately I didn't read this site before I signed up this morning. BEWARE !!! When you sign up, you are signed up to 3 sites - the advertised one which is cheap and 2 others which are around $40/month each. THE CONFIRMATION and ACCOUNT NUMBER OF THE TWO EXPENSIVE SITES WERE IN MY SPAMN FOLDER!!!
I had to go to:
www.customersupporthelp.com and individually cancel all 3 sites they signed me up for!

I will have to check my bank balance on Monday. Luckily I keep a Visa Debit Card with only about $100 in it to purchase stuff online. I would NEVER use a credit card

Thanks for posting your experiences and comments with this site. It sounded too good to be true and I'm glad I did a Google check on it first.

I was going to sign up then change my mind because there is no contact page. I like to be able to contact someone by phone before I enter my credit card. So I decided to google and find out. I'm glad I did. Thanks to all for their comments.

I happened to come across this site and was immediately suspicious because of the high "to good to be true" impression that I got from the site.
So I did a little search and came up with tons of comments about scams and fraud.
Also a very nice hack which should get you onto the site for free?!
But the first thing I did when I was back on this site was to enter a few bogus searches. With some interesting results:

I got taken in too and have just cancelled my card as they have debited my account three times in one day ! The bank will stop any further debist and deal with it as fraud . The names they used to debit are :

Chargereport.Com 8666028472 GB

Receive-Help.Com 8666049188 GB

Not only have they taken around £3.13 GBP x 3 but added a debit card service charge of £1.50 each time tto for the privelidge !! What an idiot I was ...wish Id seen this site before, but at least Im not the only one, not that that helps all you others who have fallen prey to these damn scammers . Thanks for posting it & hope it saves some others who might be fooled.

Fell to the scam too. Good thing I found out about this page after I did some Google search. Canceled my credit card right away and asked my company to mail me a new one. Anyone knows how to report this fraud site? hate to see more and more people fall to this fraud.

It's a SCAM. Immediately call your card provider company and tell them to cancel your card. they may say they can't do anything untill a bill is charged but what you insist is that you've lost the card then they need to cancel it. this will stop any payments which haven't already been taken off from being debited from your account. Would anyone else like to get the bastards who run this scam and set them on fire... alive perferred!

Tx guys, i was too whilling to sign up for this damn little crap. I came across this page when i was searching for a one day free subsciption in www.downloadnova.com...too bad i've been a tight ass, i was too planning to make money through the internet google site www.google.com nd save money into the www.paypal.com site after i earn money by adding sick unneccessary videos in other sites, till now i'm exhausted trying to find a free day try onto the so called DownloadNova where u also get a lighting 999kbps speed...till today i got my credit card but sure not i met this site before submitting my information in the site...NEVER TRUST ANYONE IN THE NET TALKING ABOUT FREE SITES WHERE U HAVE TO SIGN UP WITH CREDIT CARD...ALWAYS GO FOR TORRENT SITES...NEVER EVEN TRUST YOUTUBE!!THEY SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT DOWNLOADING FILES FROM DOWNLOADNOVA AND MANY OTHER SITES...TRASH THOSE IDIOTS!!EVEN GOOGLE!!tx allot guys tx allot, mostly tx to the rating of this page to be the first link of the google search. I just want to thank all of you that wrote your disappointing and terrible experiences in relation of this site! I really appreciate it! I paid nearly but it was suspicious that I can't pay through PayPal. I won't use any site where isn't an option to pay with Paypal. Thanks again and good luck to try ask a refund or prevent a bigger problem!

They have not vanished because this fraudulent act just happen to me today.. I had went on DownloadNova.com for a pdf Manual and was charged 4.38 one time fee.. then the next day I was charged 40 dollars by two comanies it identifies with.. Supporthelp.com and some other site.. they both charged me $40 the same day.. needless to say I some how found this site and got my card blocked.. Its just crazy to me that this website is still going and nothing has been done.. I will be reimbursed by my bank once I fill out my fraud report but yes they got me only from a mistake of my own cause I never by silly memberships like that cause usually something is up.
