Dollar Tree store manager truc

The store manager is very rude to her employees. She hires mentally challenged persons and mentally treat them terrible. Slave driver. Gives them a lot of work and expects it to be done in a little bit of time. She is very disrespectful to her employees, show signs of discrimination. She is Vietnamese. She needs to be removed from this store. Truc cannot keep any assistance managers because of her attitude. The Corp Office needs to look into this matter.

Dollar Tree attitude if employee

While shopping at the Southport store on September 9, 2015, I heard a
very loud voice that I noted coming from the register area. No sure of
what was going on I moved to make sure no one was hurt. I love all the
employees in this store and they have learned so many by name. Always very respectful. On this night, Miss Harriett was screaming at
another employee that was putting up stock; Miss Harriett wanted to leave the register area and the other lady told her just a minute so she could get boxes out of isle. Harriett than became even louder and left the register unattended. The store manager came to the register but Harriett must have not closed the register properly. This was bad enough but the Harriett proceed to stand outside of the store bad mouthing to customers as they left the store. Not called for in a public place, if there was a problem I am sure the store manager would have discussed in private.

Dollar Tree workers on personal phone while working

You have workers on personal phones while working at store #2217. The store was dirty and very untidy. Plus the 2 workers there was outside and no none was mending the register open. We stood there a good time then I hollered out we needed someone at register and no one came and when they did they came from outside. One of girls came in smelling like smoke..Sept.[protected]@ 20.16.

Dollar Tree short changed by cashier, refund due

On September 1, 2015, approximately at 1:30, afternoon, I purchased a box of peppermint candy for $1.07 cents .I gave the cashier a twenty dollar bill. She counted out the change at thirteen dollars and 93 cents. I realized when I went out it should have been $18.93 cents. I went back in and told her and showed the receipt. She said she remembered counting it at $13.93, but would not pay me the five dollars she owed me. I talked to the manager who said to count the drawer . She opened it and walked away leaving the cashier to count the drawer. There was no money over, but yet she still admitted to the manager she counted me out $13.93.No one cared, so I am still shorted $5.00. So did she pocket the money or what. I went back in later to tell them it was their responsibility to pay me back and do what was right, only to be rudely addressed by manager, Julie and cashier, that it was my problem. Five dollars may not be a lot to this company, but it is the principal and my integrity that is being questioned. And five dollars is a lot to me! I would appreciate it if you would address the situation and do what is right(give back my five dollars) or I will write to the CEO of the company.

Dangerous employees
The dollar tree hires people convicted of felony drug addicted and retail theft to work at the register.
this lady doing methadone and weeds every day. I am scare when she get withdrawal distress. she kick the police last yr when she arrested.
I heard she kick out PIZZA HUT as same issue.
I will never shop at dollar tree again and my kids going to different store.

Shantel was the manager at one of the dollar trees. I don't know how someone like her is capable of being a supervisor. Shantel has a long crimal and drug abuse history. Shantel was fired due to stealing from the dollar tree. Shantel was fired from pizza hut too due to smelling like crack. Shantel abuses heroin as well. So who knows what she is capable of.

Dollar Tree my manager is rude.

Two days ago on august 23rd of 2015, I asked my manager a question for one customer and then she answered with the worst attitude. Then the second customer had a return and she came up behind me, pushed me and loudly and rudely said move.in front of customers. I just moved aside and was silent the rest of the day. I've been told many times that I am one of the best cashiers store 3949 has ever had. I'm quick and still keep a friendly smile on my face. After the incident I was asked by a customer if I was alright.

I don't think any manager should ever lay their hands on an employee.

Dollar Tree sexual harrasment

My name is Tarrah Pellegrin, i work at the south glens falls store2505 well my sm Tom Oconner said to me n I quote and even made the motion of a woman performing oral sex on a man. the convertation stared in 8-20-15
I reported on the phone it was the 21 I was misstaken it was said on the 20 at 5pm durring shift change, we were talking about holly Kramer who was out on dental leave.and he looked at me and said well at least her room made will be happy and satisfied now that she won't have any teeth that it would be easier to give a gum job.I said him excuse me I was astinished that Tom would ever say something so volger, and I want on to say as he was laughing I said to him that that's a racist and horrible thing to say to some one.and yesterday I got in an argument 28th Gina Munger in front of a whole store of people, she hollers at me not tto count my till and goes on to say that she will deal with me in the office so I walked out, and went back this morning and Tom said that I didn't need to be their and he said well you walked out yesterday and I tryed and I have a witness Christina neilson he SREAMED shirt up tree times and demaned his keys back.now im out of an assistant manager position and he gets to walk free talking to women any kind of way I don't think so I've already contacted my lawyer and I demand justice. Dollar Tree Store manager fowl mouth

My wife and I use to shop there a store manager older man with gray hair glasses and a smoker.A few months back, he was in an isle with a few workers making some rude and off color comments about a persons body part. (on a man) asking about how Dick was. My wife and I were in the card dept on the other side of the aisle. The conversation was heard and loud enough.I looked in the aisle there he was with an older cashing woman and two other employees. She rang us out after we heard the conversation. Well I sent a letter to the corp. No response he was still there so my wife and I shop at the Depew NY store. We thought the company got rid of him well he is here now and so is the older cashing woman. I found he was not liked by many people as well an employee said he was sneaky he had workers there that lived at his house. He smoked constantly and yet still there. He still has a snotty attitude the store is filthy the carpet is filthy and there is a smell of mildew or something in the store. we don't shop there any longer due to that manager as well the smell which bothers my eyes. Where do they get these people from.

Dollar Tree store manager

My store manager is horrible and needs to be let go. She has been playing favorites with an employee whom should have been let go after walking out on a shift...instead she got promoted to freight manager. The store manager is taking everyone's hours and giving them to a new girl whom is the new freight manager's friend. I thought we were not allowed to hire friends or family? I work weekends only now, after being cut down to just two days a week I decided I might as well change my availability to just weekends. I am now being cut down to one day! My store manager is causing many problems in our store, our managers are leaving and transferring to different stores just to get away from her and BS she causes. Its ridiculous. Her name is Marie and she is the Store Manager at the Garden City MI store...PLEASE HELP US!

Dollar Tree ruining store

Have worked in company for 4 yts... Newanager comes in, I was in charge of front end... Now iys a total mess nothing done right.. Also left me in store with no manager 3 times.. The others got transfers so I can't... Real sad cause i'm a hard worker, never late, never calls out very. Loyal employee no. I need to quit. Sad real sad... Many customers complain daily...

Dollar Tree assistant manager, rita

Do not shop here! The assistant manager, Rita, is not only rude and lacks any semblance of customer service abilities - but also makes up her own rules and policies. This evening I went in to exchange some items. She wouldn't allow me to do so, as she said I couldn't purchase the replacement items for someone else! Huh? Who is she to say whom I may purchase for? When I wouldn't budge on her shinnanigans, she proceeded to call the cops! Are you kidding me? She doesn't abide by the company policy of allowing items to be exchanged, and then this is how she treats her customers? Well, I waited for the cops to arrive, and she still dug her heels in. At one point, the officer asked if there was any way we were going to come to agreement tonight to which her responses was that I "used a big mouth to get my way so she wasn't going to let me". Again, I am dumbfounded at her absolute stupidity and making up her own policies. I must state that I never even raised my voice to her - just insisted on an exchange (I even had a receipt) as the company policy states, and refused to leave until I was able to process that exchange. In hind site, when the officer was unsuccessful in getting her to see the light, I wish I had pressed charges against her for discrimination. Maybe that would teach her to not waste our officers' precious time with her inability to do the job she was hired to do. If anyone at a regional or corporate level reads this stuff, please do your customers a favor and fire Rita! I am going to try to take this issue up the corporate ladder to try to see where it goes. This woman should not be managing people, running a store or dealing with customers!

Dollar Tree poor customer service

Poor customer service and attitude received by sales associate:Carrie
check out line was very long an intercom announcement was made asking to help. I was standing already standing at the new check out line waiting on cashier to come then cashier finally came with another customer did not say a word to me.She didn't say "hello" nothing.She just starting working around me and check the other lady out.She looked at me and "rolled her eyes and made a gesture with her lips" she stated "I was mad because she checked this lady out first" I informed her, "no I was not happy with her lack of communication skills and her attitude"I tried to explain to her she could have simply said she was going to check the customer out that was next in line from the other line. Instead of ignoring me and reaching around me to get the other customer products. After checking the other customer out she "rolled her eyes again with attitude and looked down at the items I wanted to purchase and said "do you want this stuff" I informed her yes that's would be why I am still standing here. She told me she was going to put me out the store. I do a lot a business for my job with this store and the lack of respect I received today. I am in charge of my job accounts and I am a regular customer their to purchase high dollar for the state. I will be posting my complaint on social media like Facebook.

She need to be terminated. She was very comfortable speaking to me in a very rude way and unprofessional gestures and threatening to put me out the store. I work with a population of people who do not have as much patients as I do and her behavior, body language and attitude could have really turn a simple misunderstanding into a hostile situation. I was very embarrassed by the entire interaction from "hello" or more like the lack of a simple "hello"

Dollar Tree returning dishes

My name is craig hamilton. And i have a complain about dollar tree but first i need to say that work 15 years in retail grocery back in 1983. And customer service was first. . Dollar tree lost that. I bought dishes that were not siting flat on the table. . I bought 10 plate, 10 cup and 10 bowel. I took all this back to dollar tree for a exchange for new one. The manager told me there were no bar code sticker on the plates so they could not be return. I explain that i wash them an took the sticker. Off. So to make thing worse the manger raises her voice. So ever stop an look at me. So at this time i ask her to call the dist manger and ask if i could speak to him this return. She call but walk away so i could not hear. She came back and told me he said i could not return or get my money back. I was upset and ask for the head office phone number. And her comment to me to call the 1 - 800 number and i ask what i 800 number. So i ask her to right it down. I also ask her for my receipt back witch mad her upset even more. I went home a call the head office and they put me through to the dist manger voice no return call. So i called the head office and spoke again to customer service. She told me there nothing she can do. I told her that i should call the ceo of dollar tree and she told me that will never happen. If this is how you like to be treated them shop a dollar tree. But for me i will shop other store the care about there customer and customer service. And i will away talk about dollar tree and how they trash there customer.

Dollar Tree rude crude and attitude!

I've never been treated so rudely in all of my life, as I was yesterday! I went in and spent $60.43, which is quite a bit when you consider that everything is a dollar! I got to the checkout register and the cashier, tracy, never even acknowledged that I was there. She had an attitude from the minute I walked up to the register. I almost felt as if I had inconvenienced her in some way. When she was finished ringing me up, she just looked at me. I asked her how much and she just pointed at the screen. I was mortified. She bagged all of my items in 3 bags. This means that I had frozen food and glass candle holders bagged together. I am not sure I will return. This is the second time this has happend, and with the same cashier. I'm done!

Dollar Tree one register open

4/25/2015
I went into the Dollar Tree store, on Swansea Mall Drive, to purchase only 3 items. The store was busy, and the lady in front of me, in line, had 50 items in her cart. There was only ONE checkout open. I know, she had this many items, because, her total was $55.00!
Why the cashier, didn't ask about opening another register, I don't know. There was a line of people behind me, as well. I feel like I waited in line forever. Just after I put my items on the counter, another register opened up. No one should have to wait as long as I did, to check out. I use this store often, and hope this doesn't happen again. No one thought it would be busy? There was a flyer, in the Sunday paper. Thank you. survey code [protected]

Hey genius... It is a dollar tree. How do you think we keep prices at a dollar anyway? Obviously there are some disadvantages of shopping at a place like dollar tree but beggars can't be choosers. You went to dollar tree to buy crap for a dollar so you can't expect a personal shopper or even multiple checkout lanes because it isn't in our budget. We are busy trying to keep prices low. As a current dollar tree manager I feel your pain. It sucks for us too when we are being constantly yelled at by customers because we are always short staffed. Dollar tree runs on a skeleton crew and nobody likes it but it will never change unless we can start charging our customers more so please deal with it. If it makes you feel any better I work through all of my breaks so that I can help out the cashiers more. A word of advice... Go to dollar tree in the morning or before close to avoid lines. We get slammed at lunch time and dinner time. If u see a line forming circle the store a few times and come back. The line will probably be gone. Bear with us. We are doing the best we can...

Dollar Tree harassment

On april 22. 2015 at 9am i clocked in there was a list of assignment for me to complete. One of the assignments was to bring the beverages from the stock room and place them up in the refrigerator so i completed that task, and then started to ring up custumers. . At950am jamesheia came to me and turn off my light on my register, i wasn't sure what was going on. . While counting my register money i asked her why she took me off the register, jamesheia told me they are letting me go home. I asked why my shift wasn't end till 1;15. . She said because we can and we are. . And i told her no she cant till she tell me why. . .
Jamesheia said patricia wanted me to send you home due to not following the job descption, that was not true. . . All i did was what i asked of me, i asked direction didn't i follow, jamesheia said i don't know patricia is the shift manger. . . On april 23. 2015 it was 7;50 jameshia called me and told me they are taking me off the schedule. She didn't give me a proper explanation why and told tomorrow im scheduled to 1pm, but my orginal schedule hours were 9 am till 1;15. . . I told her she cant change the schedule all ready on the wall. . Her answer is same as always i can and i did. . .

It sounds like they are letting you go but are terrible at communicating. You probably don't want to work at a store like that if they can't even be honest with you. That is poor management and I'm sorry to hear that. If nothing else you should call the district manager and let himher know what happened. Whether or not they had a reason for letting you go u should know what it is and the DM should know that a manager at one of the it stores is unprofessional because they can't communicate clearly. I urge you to contact the DM.

Dollar Tree horrible company

This is by far the worst company I ever worked for. They continue to under pay and over work their employees. They have SM's that have given more than 10 years of service and still make less than $35, 000 a year and ASM's that have dedicated many years of their life to their company and still make less than $21, 000 a year. Many of the cashiers in NC still make $7.25 hr and get less than 10 hours a week. We are talking about a company that operates more than 4, 900 stores throughout the 48 contiguous US and Canada. Dollar Tree is the nation's leading operator of single-price-point dollar stores and operates stores around 11, 500 square feet verses about 8, 000 square feet between Family dollar and Dollar General. Not to mention that the CEO of Dollar Tree, Bob Sasser is in position to be the most highly compensated chief executive of the publicly traded companies, with a total compensation of $16.9 million. They offer one of the worst benefits packages ever for their full time employees whom has to decide whether to put food on the table this week or put gas in their car to make it back to that crappy job. On an average a full time employee has to pay $200-$300 every two weeks in insurance. They give the SM's and ASM's paid time off but tell them when and how much of it they can use. They make you take a non paid 30 minute lunch break and force you to work during that 30 minutes, because if the cashier needs change, back up, need balloons blown up or whatever, someone has to assist them and that someone is the ASM on duty. Dollar Tree ASM's and SM's are nothing more than a freight crew because that is all they do. Everyday, all day, stock freight. They refuse to run their freight on a third shift or even pay freight workers because they do not want to pay their employees the shift differential of a $1. So they pretty much have to stock freight and do their manger duties. They force their closing ASM's to put their life on the line by taking deposits to the bank at night when that is something that can be done in the morning hours. This company has no loyalty to its employees at all. They believe that every person that they employ is a thief and my take on that is "if you offer better wages and show some loyalty to your employees that may help deter employee theft". This is definitely not a family friendly company and I pray that they realize this and make changes before they go under from greed!

Accused me of stealing I striped down to show her I didnt she said she was gonna call police I said please do she and the otherco worker refused to call police and told me I couldnt buy anything I said I showed you that I didnt she said I must have put them somewhere I said where as I was standing five feet from her she found empty wrape I dont even know what of as she was organizing and automaticly blwmed me

So you actually were stealing and are angry that you were caught and they did not let you off the hook. This site is for customers complaining about bad service(or mostly throwing temper tantrums because they did not get their way). This site is not for thieves wanting sympathy.

Dollar Tree Termination

My name is darlene betts, I have been with the dollar tree 9 yrs. Recently I transferred to bullhead city arizona. I feel the store manger wrongfully terminated me, first I wasn't even told I was terminated. Never signed anything.. I found this out when I came back to california and ask my old store manger if I could come back she said yes. Then she tells me this.
January 18, 2015 sunday, was my first day at the arizona store 2 am till 7, when I left the #. Manger ask me to come back on the 23 rd at 11 am til 4.
When I left that dat she ask me to come back on the 24 th at 2 am. When I got home had an emergency phone call had to go to hospital my aunt past away, so I called work and said I won't be in at 2'. When I asked when I came back she told me call the manger (scott on the 29 and ask him.) when I called scott he told me my call off was inexcusable, that I was a no show, and told me he would call me when he needed me.
Now he has me down as not rehire able. I don't think that is fair.
I love my job have for 9 yrs, my boss at 2445 said she would take me back I do good work. One person can take away 9 yrs of working a job I enjoy. Please let keep my job.
Scott didn't like me from day one. I got to keep my california min and scot didn't like that.
