Dollar Tree employee

I have a complaint to report involving a employee from the Brookings SD dollar tree. I understand that there are kids in and out of the store making messes and running around. I know I am not the only parent with kids that do run with excitement to the toy aisle. Myself & my husband and our kids came into the store around 7:30pm. I was in the next aisle looking at some school items, my husband was at the end of the aisle as our sons 6 years and 8 years old were looking at the toys. We heard a voice saying "Stop running, this isn't a playground" I Walked over to see which one of my sons were running. I had ask my oldest who it was. He said it was his brother (who is 6 years old.) They both walked out of the aisle to their father. I took a moment to ask Shannon if that was her that had said something to my son. She said "yes I told him to stop running" I said I would appreciate it if you would've said it with some manner. We exchanges some words in a argumentative way. I admit I did get mad because of how rude she was being about it. I can take responsibility in how mad I got. The only reason why I did was because the way she had talked to him forced both of my sons out of the toy aisle. they didn't even want to go back in that aisle. My son (the one she was talking to) was sad. We don't talk to our kids with a loud tone of voice at all. I tried to make her understand how I felt by the way she had said that to him. We always come to dollar tree and have never had any complications. At one point she had told me to just leave and waved her hand. I did get upset and had said the f word "I would appreciate it if you would've said it with manner.. F" I don't cuss but the way she was talking to me, yes I did take offense to it. And I take full responsibility for my choice of wording. Sandra had came back to tell me I was being rude. I tried to explain what had happened and she said she didn't hear Shannon say anything. Sandra was more of person I could talk to. I continued to look for what I came for. I then went to the front of the store and had talked to Sandra as my husband was. What we were discussing was between my husband, myself and Sandra. Shannon had come up and said she was tired of hearing me complaining about it. That she would keep her kids next to her at all times when she is in a store. Tell me, is this an appropriate way to talk to someone? In a business let alone? Sandra had then said I could call the manager Phil. I asked for the names and for the mangers info. As we went to the cash register to get the info Shannon had came back up towards the register. I had told her "please do not say anything else to me I am trying to get information for the manager" she had then said "Are you buying anything?" Again.. Is this a way to handle anything by talking to a customer. We didn't buy anything or even get to finish our shopping, but still part of the reason for not doing so was because of how rude she was being. Now my husband had a conversation with Sandra. Sandra was apologetic on how we took offense to it. If these two employees were on the receiving ends, would you think they would've took offense as well? That's the point I am trying to get at. Shannon was completely rude towards my family to the point where I started crying. I've worked around many of children and I know how kids are. I know my son was hyper and excited for toys. He is a kid! What kid isn't? I know It's towards the end of her night but the way it escalated did not need to be to the point it was at. A simple "Sorry, I didn't mean it as it seemed." Would've been nice from her, not her co-worker. My son's feelings were hurt, as well as mine. And for her to tell me how to handle my sons wasn't acceptable either. Again that is why I was so upset. She shouldn't have talked to us in that kind of manner. I'm sure it wasn't in her customer service training. Before I got the managers info from Sandra. Shannon said "You can call my manager and I'm sure he'll tell you the same." Tell me to leave with a hand wave? That he is tired of hearing me complain? I understand Sandra's way of handling things. At least she was apologetic about it. After I left the store, returning to my car.. My son was crying. Crying! That truly hurt my feelings to see him cry because in his mind he got in trouble by a woman that he didn't even know. Upset because he couldn't look at a toy because she had told him, " Stop running, this isn't a play ground." And discouraged him to even finish looking for a toy.

Dollar Tree my employment

I have been an associate and assistant manager of the Jacaranda 4850 store since 2013. I have never had a problem, except that a cashier got rude with a customer and wanted to fight the customer. The manager and myself intervened, while the manager took the cashier to her office I took over the register and calmed and apologized to the customer. This was over five (5) months ago. Previous to my employment I had a fall and subsequently needed surgery. This occurred on 1/7/16. I was put into a cast and could not work. I went on Workmen's Comp from my previous employer. I kept in close contact with my Manager and was told when I could report to work to advise. I was schedule to return February 8, 2016, and reported for work on said date. I was told to clock in and then told that the company was considering letting me go because of the incident of 5 months ago. I am in a state of shock because I am being penalized for standing up for the store and ironing the problem and the problem maker is being rewarded by being given more responsibilities. I am at a loss. I have contacted human resources and left message several times. I would appreciate a response as to my status with this company.
Thank you for your anticipated courtesy and cooperation herein.

Dollar Tree unethical behavior and abuse towards employees.

Itzamar Gonzales [protected] To whom it might concern, I'm notifying you the unethical behavior, abuse of authority, the abuse of making employees go to work without being clock in. Evidently Mr. Trinity is aware and hasn't taking any actions. Unfortunately, I have been present where this individual Perla which is the manager at Hidalgo TX ridicules her employees, has created a hostile environment, abuses her authority, harrasment, don't give hours to employees. This has to be taking care of because there is employees working either early in the morning or in the middle of the night not properly dressed or even people that are not employed. Employees have been fired unfairly, have been injured without getting treated. So I believe someone should put more attention in what is going on and really get rid of incompetent individuals. I hope you don't ignore this complain and start finding resolutions

On the day of Friday 1 of July 2016 I was scolded like a little boy in front of customer for not have called cashiers assistant because I had 3 or more people in the line. Then this person, Miss Celeste Smith, helds from the office to call for cashier assistance. After a few time of that she sends the assit. manager to tell me again. Customers complaint that that was very rued of her and that she should have called me apart or have addressed me later in the office. Now, does this person know what chain of commandment is? She should have spoken to my supervisor had have him have a chat with me later. Now also I have learned that this is not the first time someone has reported her and nothing has been done. I have repeatedly tried calling HR or the HOTLINE with no answer at all. On top of that this person has changed my schedule 3 times in 2 days. All of that in retaliation of our incounter. Now do do think this is a good company to work for? Next stop, Fox news cast! By the way this store is the one on Pat Booker rd in Universal City, Texas.

Dollar Tree store manager very rude and loud with associates

12 -23-15 as I was picking up a few stocking stuffers in the toy area of the store I could hear the store manager hollering at one of her associates, I was not shocked because that lady is ALWAYS loud talking her associates and her managers. I think that's why no one has been employed their to long...I'm a regular customer and every other week there is always someone new at the store, there is only a few good people left...wonder how long before she runs them off? #DollarGeneralHereICome

Dollar Tree manager

I went to the store just to buy a few things like stocking stuffers and gift bags, liquid detergent, things of that nature. When all of a sudden a man appears and grabs my bags from my hand, and proceeds to take them to the counter and says to me are you paying cash or credit, and I was wasn't even done shopping. at first I thought the man was being friendly helping a customer out, but then I realized that he actually thought I was stealing. It took me a few seconds to catch on. then I said Sir are you accusing me of stealing? and he says that people try to get away all the time with that and just pay for my stuff. So know I'm heated, because I was a good paying customer who actually just came there yesterday. so I say to him he is very unprofessional, and he needs to be retrained because everybody is not a thief and judging someone is just straight up wrong. He says he is the manager and I can call Corporate to voice my concerns about his behavior. so that is just what I tried to do but no response from that action. If there is anyone who really cares about complaints please talk to this manager because he is very unprofessional, and that will be the last time I will frequent that DOLLAR TREE location store#[protected] CRENSHAW BLVD. Dollar Tree unethical behavior

This passed Saturday (December 5th) I was working the mid shift at Dollar tree. I am a cashier, and my shift was from 12:30 to 5:30. My boss(Store Manager Norma Collins) made a false accusation toward my work performance, and I disagreed with her. Now keep in mind she has gotten almost more than 10 plus compliments about my costumer service skills from many different costumers since I have been working there, but the reason why she kept complaining is because of her own personal prejudiced against me. She spoke to me very rude and disrespectful when I disagreed with her about my work performance, and I told her I felt she was being exactly how she was acting. I told her she was rude, disrespectful, and that her attitude was nasty, and I did not appreciate the way she was speaking to me. After we had words. She told me to clock out, and tried to fire me, but you cannot fire someone because they disagree with you, and secondly as I was walking out of the store to leave for the day, after she asked me to. She closed the door behind me, but before she shut it, she openly and boldly called me a ###! I am a proud homosexual male, and I should not have to go to work, and or deal with a person having a personal issue with me because of who I am. I would like for action to be taken against her, and I would like to be transferred to a different location. What she called me and how she treated me is discrimination to the maximum level, and it is unacceptable. This all took place at the Dollar Tree location is Hazel Park Michigan on 9 mile and John R, next to Krogers. I am associate Caleb Merritt. Thank you!

Dollar Tree unethical behavior

Customer service is not what it use to be...I'm a customer and this was my second time going to this dollar tree on my side town. I usually go to the one on Northgate. I was at the check out counter when Chris said I could only use 4 of my 5 coupon which had no limit. He said it was store policy to only use 4 at a time. I told him the other dollar tree stores let me use them and his response was, "That's them-if you don't like it, Go there if you want to use them!" After telling him he was rude for making that comment. I asked to speak to the manager and he said to call customer service, I asked him AGAIN for the store manager and he said HE was the manager! then he started arguing with me and raising his voice at me like I was a dirty dog in front of the customers, employees and even the delivery man. I told him to forget it, I'll go somewhere else to shop and he said, YOU DO THAT!. Anytime an employee is allowed to treat customers badly, they don't have to worry about seeing me again! I did try to make a formal complaint by calling the corporate office. They had me on hold so long...They never did pick up the phone.

Dollar Tree disrespectful employees

I am Christy Suttle, 806.440.5225 and I shopped in the Dollar Store on Coulter Ave. in Amarillo, Texas 79109 yesterday, November 24, 2015. On walking in to the store to retrieve a basket, I heard a cashier say, "I thought I get off at 2:30. I just looked at it wrong and I just knew I get off at 2:30." The manager of the store begins to talk loudly and say, " Yes, but the schedule says you get off at 2:00." He repeats that 3 more times than the cashier told him he didn't need to tell her again. This was so unprofessional when all the customers are listening to it. Then the lady in the office YELLS outside her door about schedules and she needed another employee. YELLS consistently and the manager is rambling loudly. I spoke up and said, " Why is everyone yelling in here?" The lady from the office said, "Because I felt like it." I said, " Well, I'll just call your headquarters." She walked into that office and slammed the door. Then the manager came over and walked hurriedly past me and begin to greet me and he continued to walk. This whole store is dysfunctional, disrespectful, and totally unprofessional. You get what you pay when it comes to employee etiquette and training. I'll never shop in it again. Life is too stressful anyway without walking into a place of business and it becomes so stressful, the customer cannot enjoy the experience. This is the 2nd time it has happened and obviously, there is no improvement or care taken on the leadership qualities that your manager possesses. There should be no tolerance of disrespect and mean employees on a customer. I am severely appalled that this is tolerated.

Dollar Tree district manager breaking policy

If Dollar Tree is going to hold store personnel to crazy policy's. And fire them for first offense. Then there District Managers should be held to the same standers. There is a policy that new Assistant Managers have to go through and pass a 2 week training course. After they pass they can then be given the keys to the store. District Manager Autumn Maxwell gave a set of key to a new Assistant Manager at store 353 her 2nd day at the store. This is after all Store Managers have been told that if they give a key to a new Assistant Manager before the 2 week training program is finished. They will be fired.

Dollar Tree The items were defective and the replacement as well

We bought supplies for our work from Greenbrier International Inc. We brought the order home and opened it, we found out that almost their item from the pack was defective. We took the order and returned it to the seller, who excused and promised to replace it. After 2 weeks we got the same order .No idea what to do, because we think that it was unavailing to replace it again.

Dollar Tree complaint on an assistant manager, dollar tree plymouth nc

The manager that was on duty told me that there were too many coupons being used, and she explained that Andy was supposed to be coming because of this matter. She was just telling me about this matter on today 10/27/2015, and wrote me up on a matter that she claimed happened over a week ago. One particular night I asked the manager if I could use some coupons, and the manager told me that I could indeed use the coupons, only if I ring the up on different transactions. Today that manager called me into the office and wrote me up from using the same coupons that she told me that I could use from a week ago. Ever since one day that I went to the manager about a problem with one of her employees, keep in mind that she never resolved this issue, she has been harassing me ever since because that is one of her favorite Assistant managers Carlina. I have been being harassed for over a week now, and something really needs to be done about the matter. The manager name is Kat From The Dollar Tree in Plymouth NC

Dollar Tree manager

So I happened to go to the store and the employees were working. their was one that was stocking the shelf's and the manager (art) was their. I didn't hear the employee say anything bad just giving some suggestions about some items to the manager (art). like wouldn't this look better if you were to arrange it like this. well the manager (art) did not like that a bit he started yelling at his employee in front of every one saying you don't tell me how to do my work, you have been here only for 3 weeks or 3 months something like that and I am the manager not you. the employee did not say anything poor guy what can he say right. the manager (art) was very rude. he should not treat any one like that I don't care if he is the manager. this happened tuesday september 22, 2015. it was last week when this happened. that's not the only thing I have noticed this manager do 2 weeks ago one of his cashier's was very busy only 1 register open and we were at least 10 costumers in line. the cashier asked him if he can help and open he looked at the line and said no I can't I am busy stocking. after a while he opened another register and help we were only like 4 in line by that time. I just think that if he (art) doesn't like his job he should not be working at the dollar tree. thank you

Dollar Tree The order was in paint and impossible to clean it

I have purchased from the company Greenbrier International Inc. The order and the process of the delivery was fine and without any delays. However, the order was full in paint and I needed to clean it with water, but I have tried couple of times and nothing helped. Also, the company told me that it wasn’t the reason, so they refused to change the order. How can I clean it and is it ok that the company has refused to help?

Dollar Tree wrongful dismissal

I managed a location in Southern Ontario the moment I walked in the store I realized how dysfunctional it was ...
After putting in a lot of over time to make the sales increase, I began to burn out.
When I started to demand that my over time be acknowledged I was terminated...
I plan to fight back and have hired an Attorney for Wrongful Dismissal.
Should anyone find themselves in the same position, believe in yourself and don't take crap from Dollar Tree
