Purchased Wireless Cameras Security System CAP001+208T4 on Dec. 11, 2009 and received 2 weeks later from Singapore. Fine...I got my product. Turns out the set of 4 wireless cameras and the receiver were not compatible with my computer. The software that came with the equipment was probably put together by someone who just got a B.S. in Computer Science. Through a series of emails and online "support" they will not issue my refund. I did something clever when I called them. I recorded their conversation, with permission, using cellular phone on speaker phone. A lady named Grace, said no problem we could issue you an RMA and don't worry about the 30 day return policy. What was strange about it was, in the previous emails they said I had to pay for Shipping if I wanted to return the stupid cameras. In my last email, they said my recording device (computer) is not working.
I have never experienced this kind of unfairness in my entire life as a consumer. I feel so violated. I will try to contact Consumer Affairs and even BBB about this problem. I will pursue this hoping I get a voice in it.

Attached is a photo with a nice error message on my laptop with all 4 cameras set up.

I bet there business operation is in a residential area with a few employees and correspondence in Singapore.

Took over two weeks from payment for me to receive my item that was shipped from China with European outlets, which do me no good since I live in the USA.

I have placed an order with them and after waiting for 6 weeks I have not received the shipment. After contacting their support via chat and waiting for 40 minutes they said it will take another 2 weeks to resend. This is a pretty pathetic company to deal with. Cancelled the order and hoping to get money back. Very unprofessional support folk keeping the customer waiting to respond.

My experience is the same as many above. I place an order, they take the money THEN proceed to tell me it is shipping, then out of stock, then shipped, then is out of stock, then I should chose something else from their site and spend more money, then when I chose something else, they don't have that size. I am so glad I did not pay out any more money before that point.
I have asked for a refund and if they do not comply, my credit card company will be on them. This is really a terrible company and should be avoided.

I placed an order last Saturday for an item that the website states would be shipped within 2-3 business days. On day 4 contacted customer service via online chat because they did not have my Fed Ex tracking number. I intentionally paid extra for the FedEx shipping and for a tracking number to be provided. I keep getting the runaround and they keep saying I don't want the items I ordered because I live in the United States. Huh? I wanted exactly what I ordered and I had full knowledge of what I ordered when I PAID for it. They still refuse to provide me with a shipping number because they said they still have not shipped my items.

Ordered ereader for my dad. It came - with all instructions in Chinese. Language on ereader was also Chinese...I do not read/understand that language. Reply from "customer service" was to change the language on the ereader. Only change appeared on menu. Requested RMA - on 3/15. To date, have not received authorization to return. Since I asked for refund, assume I will not hear from them. Am reporting to American Express. What other recourses do you think I have? Chris, Cincinnati Ohio

I ordered the item that I can't get in my country. I should've compromise and get what's available locally.
Anyway, they sent me two wrong items with 2 copies of invice for only one item (with a different price to what I paid).
Needless to say, they ignored my emails as long as they could. Refused to send or refund unless I return the items at my cost.
They had the nerve to ask me to pay the return-shipping fee for the items that I didn't order! I repeatedly sent them the photos that clearly show the difference and they denied sending me the incorrect items.
I filed a paypal claim against them like 5 days ago but they obviously haven't responded to Paypal yet. What a bunch of [censor]!

I ordered a Netbook computer using Paypal. They never gave me an order number and they will not let you submit inquiries to customer service without an order number. I have yet to recieve the merchandise therefore I file a claim with Paypay.
There are too many professional reputable online companies out there to where we should not have to subject ourselves to sites like this
The prices are cheap, but it's not worth the headache
BUYERS BEWARE

I just agree totally with what the former writer said...

They get paid to keep their own systems in check, and it's not the customers job to do it for them.

That "great price" in terms of time spent in being given the run around by them - AND all the extra time spent in waiting for the order to come...

Not worth it.

My own order - short stocked - they have NO inventory control.

Sent out 7 of the 9 cables - wrong cables.

Take photo - eventually resend order.

Send 7 cables instead of 9 - again wrong cables.

Third time? Take another photo... Pass.

3 months to get an order wrong 4 times, that should have arrived in 14 days...

Granted that this happens time after time after time after time - and this was only with my own order... and they keep doing it to lots of other people as well...

If the people who run Dinodirect were on the Titanic, they are so incompetent that they still couldn't organise a mass drowning.

This company is TERRIBLE! Please AVOID. I ordered a bathing suit and was sent the wrong size. I kindly requested an RMA (return authorization number) and was told it would take 1-3 days to process. It has now been 12 days and nothing. I contacted customer service and was asked to send a PICTURE of the item to prove it was the wrong size. (Are you serious) I asked how can you tell the wrong size by a picture. I believe they do everything in their power to hold off on the RMA number until it is past the 30 days. They are SCAMMERS. They state they have a 30 day policy "and you can rturn for ANY reason" so why isn't the fact they made a shipping error a good enough reason? I will NEVER deal with this company again and I STRONGLY suggest you choose another online retailer.

An update:

After considering that from the outset - they do not match the orders taken with the parts in stock, so they send out a partial order... 7 of the 9 cables.

They promise a 14 day delivery... it took over a month.

I hassle them. they send out the last two cables... which were the right cables.

7 of the 9 cables were the wrong cables...

I hassle them and then ask for a picture and then they send out another 7 cables, and these too were the wrong cables...

AND now they expect me to send another picture because they are too slack and too stupid to trace back through their own ordering system to track the fault...

So they are refusing a refund because the 9 cable 14 day delivery order has taken about 3 or 4 months, and I only have 2 ESATA to SATA cables, and 14 SATA to SATA cables, which I did not want or need - because I had about 5 spares ones in the first place.

Dinodirect is run by imbiceils - congential idiots. These people are so stupid they would not ...

DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING EVER from DINODIRECT. Everything about the site is a scam run by [censor]s - and they are lazy, slow, stupid, apathetic and really crappy [censor]s.

I am doing a charge back on my credit card and forcing the idiots in my bank with the fair trading laws to comply with my request.

All of Dinodirects "positive reviews" are written by company shrills, and they all say the same dumb [censor] things, "Very Fast Delivery, Great Product, Great Price, Friendly Customer Service, will order again from soon".

And they post the same comments on all the review sites, and when they get a site that has a heap of bad feed back on it, they then flood the site with more of their "Is number one cheap fast happy site" fake positive reviews to try and drown out the honest reviews.

If Dinodirect was a quality company run by dedicated people, they would not be running such a shonky "fly by night" operation, and getting almost identical bad reviews for such a long time, and they would not be trying to flood the review sites with such obviously fake "positive" feedback.

They advertised 1 meter E-Sata to SATA cables on their site. I bought nine of them. Almost 2 weeks later they emails me to say they were only sending PART of the order.

Like "Oh really?" So I chased them up and after lots of "The lights are on and no one is home" types of replies, I found out that they only sent 7 of the 9 ordered.

I also found that there was a gaping chasm in their stock control - between their listing the products as available and their inventory.

Like there is NON, and yet when they told me that there were no available cables because they said, "It was because of the rush"... and yet they were still selling and taking orders for them on their site - with no notices "Temporarily out of stock" etc.

After reading almost all reviews about them over the internet, it's pretty obvious that they are in the habit of short changing their customers, along with non delivery, taking money and cancelling the orders etc., etc., etc...

So I put the screws on them to deliver the goods... and since I am very good at that, they at least made the undertaking over some 10 or 12 emails to deliver the rest..

Will I hold my breath? No..

Anyway a whole 4 or 5 weeks after the placement of the order for the 9 cables, the original order being only 7 cables - actually arrived.

Great news, happy times? Not.

The 7 cables were plain SATA (male plug) to SATA (male plug) cables... and NOT the E-SATA to SATA cables a ordered.

These people are hopeless.

Almost all of the positive reviews are just company shrills with odd Singaporean "English" grammar - which are made with the express intent of driving up their ratings in a sea of almost totally hostile ex-customer feedback.

Their inventory control is non existent.

Their customer service is bad, evasive and much of it is the "Oh yes yes yes" lip service and nothing gets done. You get more sense out of house bricks.

And they have sent a "partial order" of the wrong parts..

Big Headache Pill - reverse the credit card payment; and never ever buy from them again.

Life is too short to become entangled with companies that operate that badly.

I received my device that is defective. I am given the runaround and will never even be shipped a replacement. This is clear after several weeks of being asked to call back in 2 days each time I call. My emails as not even read as no receipt is ever sent. arning to everyone. Shop at your own risk.
