It seems like having a happy experience with DHL is a myth. I bought some products from China. The tracking system showed that my order is picked up, but tracking info never updated. When it finally updated, it said the package was returned to the shipper. I also received an email stating I need to contact DHL customer service. So I contacted DHL and they told me to contact the shipper. Then few days later, it showed that package was delivered to my city. But it was signed for "Jameson", but there's no one in my household with a name even close to that. The package was never delivered to me!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEYRE DOING 1- DHL canada left a package at my home, that was not mine. I called them 5x to pick up package so the person waiting for me can have it. It's been 1 wk now and I still have the package. Overtime I called I got a different answer. 2-Waiting for a package from DHL, they can't find the tracking number and have told me to call other carriers., even though the shipper clearly staes its from DHL. A package can't be in limbo for 2wks! Still no package.

Warning! Don't use DHL Philippines specially on your business! This company just give us nightmare and horrible experience! I cannot explain the intensity feeling of anger, frustration, and disappointment and we have. We order goods from china for reselling here in Philippines. It arrive from China to Manila for just 2 days, and as of now I am writing this its almost 1 week at DHL. Everytime we call for follow up they said its still at customs for physical inspection! For 1 week! And its just a small package, how come its not yet done for 1 week when they can do it for minutes!

I am waiting since weeks for a package sent from Germany to India (Bhubaneswar), sent on the 10/09/2015. The online tracking system says that the package is stuck in customs in Mumbai. In Mumbai Foreign Customs Office they told me the package has already been sent to Kolkatta. But in Kolkatta nobody can tell me how to proceed. As they consignment is urgent, I feel quite helpless. The consignment number is CL603229235DE.

My Crew were delivering to the Chicago Rib Shack, Unit R5 West Quay Shopping Centre Southampton, SO151QB.
Our Drivers mate has stated that one of your drivers was driving very fast through the loading area. He has said that he has had to jump out of the way to stop the van from hitting him. He has said the driver of the van did see him but made no attempt to slow down or stop.
We do not require to see any action taken but as a distribution company we felt it was very important to make you aware.

In a building with a 24 concierge and mail service, DHL left a door tag for a critical urgent shipment that our company’s product launch at 2pm in the afternoon on a business day. Additionally there were no attempted calls to concerning the delivery. Rather than finding a way to attempt delivery, the best that DHL indicated is that they would not do anything for over 72 hours simply because I had called on a Friday evening at 5pm. DHL clearly does not consider shipping or their responsibility to deliver package a function of their carrier contract

The shipment was promised to be delivered on the 1st day, wasn't delivered until 7 PM, no one available.

2nd day, promised to be delivered by 5PM, one hour later, and didn't receive package until the next business day. DHL delivery driver could not find location-poor service.

I have ordered many items from Lightinthebox and had no issues for my upcoming wedding.

I am afraid if DHL will be the carrier for any future orders, I will not order.

They sent me a parcel from Chile to Auckland. The parcel was a very delicate wind trainer for my bike that was carefully protected. Nevertheless, the "brilliant" DHL services smashed the box like a piece of nothing, the box arrived all broken and smashed. In fact, they opened the box, moved all the items a repacked it leaving everything in a wrong position so during the transport was all broken. Now I have been trying to have a response since de 27 of July and nobody as given me a solution or a response. DHL it's a really crap of service. Who now what else can i do?

I had ordered some cosmetics off a trusted south korean website and paid 30 $ for priority shipping since i will be traveling in a couple of weeks and need to recieve it before i go, i recieved confirmation of my order and of the shipping address and a shipment tracking number (EG151063237KR) I tracked my order till it was with the courier it then stated that it was delivered and signed for by a Frau Heiderich whom i have never heard of, even though i was home during the time stated, and when trying to get more info on the recipient i entered my postcode assuming it might be a new neighbour the site kept stating that this was not the postcode of the person who signed on the delivery (so it was nowhere near my address).
I had sent an email to dhl germany and recieved no reply and the called the provided number on their website [protected] but my call keeps getting cancelled and dont get through.

dhl muscat has some admin charges to bring in the good from custom i alreayd pay dhl to bring in the stuff to the sender and once it comes to muscat charge me seperate i end up paying twice once to dhl international and one to dhl muscat theses charges has no basis and since they hare a big company i dont think they should get away with it plus the customers service people are very rude even the managerial level

Important family papers were sent from Gouda (Netherlands). by DHL. Local office told me that DHL mail in Thailand is handed over to Thailand Mail. We used DHL to avoid Thailand Mail, as they are very unreliable ( mail gets opened or just stolen). No european bank e.g. will send bank cards to Thailand
You should just refuse contact w with Thailand Mail. We were led to believe that DHL should deliver the mailing

I wanted to transfer my package through the company www.dhl.com.ph. I was really disappointed in their services, ‘coz of the lack of security. They took my stuff and after 5 days they told me that someone stole the car with all packages. WTF? I told them to find it or provide compensation, but they only told to wait and that someone would reach me. After 2 months I heard nothing from them. Please, if someone here had the same experience, can you help to return money back?

I am willing to overlook how difficult it is to accept a package for delivery when they only deliver during work hours. I booked a day off work and wrote to them to arrange for a delivery day within the week. I am not willing to overlook the fact that they didn't acknowledge my request and then handed off my parcel to some random person either inside of my building or the outside entrance who signed as John Smith. Safe to assume, I never received my parcel. I do not appreciate that they were careless with a valuable package.

I just panicked as these are original marriage documents and affidavits and certificates being which can not be replaced and I might have to travel back to my wife's country to get and that will further delay us trying to submit papers for immigration! Paid $70.00 for just a few pieces of papers to be delivered. NO CHEAP! Suppose to be delivered in 4 days.
SO, we went online to check the Waybill# and (1) said it is SIGNED and delivered (2) I called and I never got a call back and never got a timeframe (3) I called the next day 10:30am to ask and this agent said OK I will track it for you, you should have been told you would get a call back by 4pm today, I said no I never got that from the first agent (4) I got a call back from the original agent at 1pm, she said they found it a) the driver could not find your address... WTF, its a duplex and my door is on the right side of the house in plain view b) she said they left me a message, NO I DID NOT RECEIVE a message and they should have called me back again but did not. c) I said WHY IS it marked SIGNED and DELIVERED!
Everything flow of the processed FAILED! big F-A-I-L. I am just so pissed at the panic it set off too.

my Internet purchase, Carried by DHL cleared at Turkish custom w/ no hassle or fee, next day transferred 1200 km away my town. I have call saying within few minutes will be delivered home by local DHL...After about half hour i have been told item hold by senders email ( problem paypal though might be fradulent transaction so payment was late so sender worried and issued to held deliver) that is cleared by Paypal on ther same day, afternoon when we cleared this problem, Person at Istanbul DHL called me that is cleared to be delivered but nw i may need to pay some amount to DHL, not sure abut amount, said and will receive soon call. I ceratainly objected. Later i said i will complain about you. so after this DHL send me notice that item need to be re inspected by custom...So what do you think, DHL abviously betrayed me and called custom department that item value is exceeding slightly to be cleared . So need reinspection...so if i am not agree to pay DHL as handling fee like 70 EU. So i objected. my parcel returns ( 1200km ) to istanbul so will re-enter custom. So i contacted DHL head Mr. Markus Reckling, who send mails someone, that send to another person. so finally 3rd person contacted me after few talking i have been blamed that i am thief like, and trying to avoid fee...implying i am not good citizens etc...so thanks Marcus, you handled excelently. ! I was hopping Mr. Markus Reckling would handle situation more seriously, not to extend of inspection time wait for monday ( 4 days ahead)?and do noting about betraying customers to officials.. Is that the business you do betrayed your customers..!

This Company sucks!

I have been waiting for 6 weeks for my shipment from China. It was almost impossible, but I managed to contact customer services and they refused to do anything - all they would do was read back the info on the tracking site - that I could access myself (and have).
Furthermore, everyone I talked to at DHL told me a different story - my shipment is stopped at customs, my shipment is stopped at Health Canada. my shipment is stopped at the DHL sorting Center in Winnipeg, blah blah blah more lies...

I have dealt with Health Canada before and they either pass a shipment or garbage it... they certainly don't keep it for 6 weeks inspecting it. They don't give a c*** if you like what they do or not - there is no appeal. Telling me that Health Canada is holding my shipment is obviously complete and utter lies. My guess is that they lost my shipment and no one will take any responsibility for it.

Worthless Company. Ship by any other means. Even the Post Office can track your parcel - but not DHL! And they have no Customer Service. Try to get through and you will end up spending all afternoon talking to computer answering systems. They don't reply to emails. If you are lucky ... after a few weeks ... they might direct you to a call center so you can waste your time talking to a untrained and useless rep who has no more idea than you do where your shipment is and no powers to fix the problem. She will tell you the usual lies again tho.. if that helps.

I ordered something from Neiman Marcus through border free shipping. After a few days of waiting for the parcel I decided to track my parcel. TO my surprise it said the parcel had been shipped and signed for 2 days ago. I was shocked because I have not received my parcel and nor did I sign for any package. When I asked for proof of signature it read NSR (no signature req). I decided to send in a complaint to DHL and also to Neiman Marcus. Neiman marcus is following it's due procedure and are inquiring with border free to find out what happened. DHL called me and basically told me tough luck and to call Neiman Marcus to reimbursement me! I told them that I have the delivery man on our home camera and that I was late opening the door and that I saw the truck leave and there was no parcel at the door. He replied that he must have and it was taken but someone else. I spoke with Neiman Marcus who were very patient and caring through the entire process. I will also contact Borderfree to complain about this company and ask them to review DHL's history with customers and to re-evaluate their contract with a dishonest company.

DHL's service is pitiful have ordered two different shipments from India and form two different companies, paid for both of them in advance for DHL shipment to my doorstep to Yerevan, Armenia. On 11 march 2014 I received a phone call from some employee of DHL Armenia requesting that I should visit their office located in Amiryan street in Yerevan and pay the amount of 8000AMD for some unknown reason and also represent a copy of my passport.Upon visiting their office, one of the employees who could not even speak a word of English tooke 8000AMD from me without issuing a single receipt for it and claimed that my parcels have to be processed by the customs authorities and after it is done I might be able to go and collect it.During all these confusions and weird sea of claims I would like to have the DHL personnel's attention towards the following flaws in their branches in Armenia:
1- We live in the 21st century and in current times no company such as DHL with all these claims of being number one shipping and cargo company should even dare to call the recipient and ask him to visit their office. You should know that email has been invented for these reasons.
2-No fee is payable to any personnel unless it has been fully explained and an official receipt issued for it.
3- All the personnel working for international companies such as DHL must be fluent in English(in my case none could even speak a word)
4- All DHL personnel should have an Id badge and also introduce themselves (which in my case was out of the question)5- If DHL is a shipping company and charges a parcel to send it to a country and more specifically to someone's doorstep, it is a ridiculous and laughable matter to request the recipient to visit their office and afterwards go to costumes and claim his parcel. If so, why would some one pay so much to DHL ?I could have traveled to India and brought the parcel myself.DHL company had made a promise to deliver the parcel to my doorstep and that is the price they have charged me.
I shall not tolerate this act of indiscipline and if the company is not going to be accountable and take responsibility I shall file an official complain.

I booked a courier through the attached consignment way bill [protected].
The consignment has been delivered to address given by me but it contains documents pertaining to some one else.. please see all attachments.
Then where is my consignment ? When and how i am going to receive it ?
I have some very urgent and important documents to be processed in India, which were inside the consignment and if not done on time then it will have negative financial repurcussion on me,
