Derma wand is a terrible product. Do not purchase it! It's a scam. They would charge your credit card with higher amounts than authorized. They would charge your credit card with things you did not purchase. They would add sale taxes to the shipping and handling when there is no tax on shipping costs.
I authorized a first charge to my credit card for $ 9. 95, however, the charge was made for $13. 55. This is $ 3. 60 of overcharge. They told me that this $3. 60 was sale tax over the shipping of $ 9. 95. So they charged me 36. 2% over 9. 95. They are in california, where the sales tax fluctuates in between 8. 15 - 8. 25%, (According to the county) but they charged me 36. 2% instead.
They would try to upsale things you don't need such subscriptions to magazines and other things.
If you choose monthly payments, they would charge the whole amount to your credit card.
Moreover, the dermawand machine is worthless. It does nothing to your skin in the best of the cases. I have read reports of people saying that the machine damaged their skin. This wasn't my case, but it did nothing to improve it. It was a waste of time and money.
Besides, after you decide to return the machine, they don't want to honor their own warranty. They become so unpleasant to deal with.
The commercial states that they would pay for the returning shipping also, but this isn't true.
When i called to return the product, they gave me a rma number and they told me to use a little return label with a funny barcode in the back of the sales slip. They told me that the postage was pre - paid in that label. In fact, the label was there. I packed the machine, i placed the little return label on the package and took it to the post office.
The clerk at the post office, told me that the label "was not" pre paid and i would have to pay for the shipping. I was not willing to spend anymore money with these people, so i called them and told them to send me a label. They respond that they wouldn't do it.
They are just crooks. One lie after another.
My attorney sent them a letter with all the information, and telling them that if they want their machine back, they need to send me a pre - paid label.
I haven't heard back from them. I have the machine packed and ready to go.
Do not give your credit card number to these people. The whole thing is a scam.
These high frequency machines sell for $ 64 - $100. 00. Go to amazon. They have a wonderful return policy and it's hassle free to return any item to them if you are dissatisfied.
Don't waste your time and money with these people exposing yourself to fraudulent charges.

Hello. I bought my Dermawand at Bed Bath and Beyond. They retrieved it from a locked cabinet. The box contains the wand, a carry string bag for wand, trial sized pre-face treatment, and instructional papers w/ DVD. The papers indicate that other lotions may be included. My box was not sealed. I'm curious to know if my box had been tampered with.

I have had the dermawand for about 8 to 10 years. I used off and on and was happy with it when I did use it. However, I accidently dropped it on the counter while using and the bulb got broken. I called about getting a repair and they couldn't find my info. They (Melody with customer service) told me that I couldn't get it fixed without proof of purchase and I would have to buy another one. THAT is unacceptable! Like I'm going to have the receipt from that long ago! Most likely they only retain your info for a short time so that they can get more money out of you because you would have to buy a new one if you ever needed a repair! They just lost a customer!

ICTV Brands, Inc. aka ICTV Dermawand practices egregious sales and business practices and to date the BBB, Complaints Board, and various other agencies refuse to seriously investigate the numerous complaints against this company. Why? Because ICTV is such a large company and is truly BIG BUSINESS.
After seeing an infomercial on TV, I called to ask a technical question about the product. The individual who answered my call clearly did not know anything about the product; he was merely an order taker. I told him that if he didn't know anything about the product he was selling, then I was not interested in the product. Approximately, 10 or 20 minutes later I got a call from a woman who told me that she noticed that I had called regarding the Dermawand and that I had not placed an order. I told her I was only interested in learning the technical aspects of the product. She proceeded to conduct a hard sell. She answered my question and told me that if I did not "love" the Dermawand that I could return it after for 30 days at no out-of-pocket expense (including shipping to return it; I specifically asked her). I agreed to try it for 30 days. She proceeded to sell me other products and asked me if I would like to purchase the Dermawand for my friends. I declined. However, I did agree to an extended 5-year warranty, which was part of the total price of $158.74.
When I received the item the Dermawand came to me in a plain shipping box. The Dermawand was not packaged in any type of professional manufacturer's packaging. The cord was loose, the items scattered in the shipping box. Also, according to the directions, the Dermawand was supposed be given time to warm up. The Dermawand I received did not require warm up time.
Three days after purchase, I called to request a return authorization form. I was told that I would have to return it at my own expense; whereupon an argument ensued. I often record telephone conversations, however at the time I placed the order for the Dermawand, I was not prepared to record the conversation. So, I lied and told the woman that I would be happy to replay the conversation of the original order where the seller told me that there would be no out-of-pocket expense to return the item, if it was returned within the 30-day trial period. She immediately told me that since I was recording the conversation (which I was not), she could no longer speak with me and hung up. They have since blocked my telephone number, I am unable to contact them.
I reported this to Chase and disputed the charge. They see fit to honor this merchant. Clearly Chase does not respect customers in good standing.
I have investigated ICTV Brands, aka ICTV Dermawand and learned that there have been many complaints against them. The Securities and Exchange Commission sued them in 2010, 2011, and 2016. I am investigating whether I can join a class action against this merchant. It surprises me that their infomercials continue to be run on TV.
It is worth noting this website: Dermawand — dangerous

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not order. My mom had to cancel her credit card. They would not stop charging her. First $30.90, then $44.90, then $59.90, and finally $39.95 before she canceled it. She returned the first shipment and refused the other two. RIDICULOUS!

Buyer Beware. Terrible customer service. I never received the product, then got sent to collections for not paying for it. I called customer service twice. One person hung up on me. Both only look at their computer and repeated again and again what the computer says, which is wrong. They won't let me talk to a supervisor, nor will let me contact anyone who can take the account out of collections.

Everything about this company is crooked. I have never felt so stupid and helpless since the day I fell for that infomercial on TV. I have never called to order such an expensive product but little did I know that the 3 payments of $30 they touted was just the tip of the iceberg. Once they have your credit card number they pile on fees and subscriptions to things I didn't even know they signed me up for it. It was at Christmas time when I was busy and didn't pay attention to what they were doing until it was too late. They've taken over $200 off my card in 2 months and I'm still on the hook with them as they told me another shipment of the creams was coming and I can't cancel it until it comes to my door. They're a slippery, disreputable company and I think any good reviews they are getting are from their legions of employees working for them.

The company is not interested in their customers! I contacted them for replacement of the bulb for the second time. You must pay for the bulb and shipping to have it replaced. They said they could not find my account so they could not replace my glass tip. I have only had two addresses and it has to be under one of those. The replacement bulb is definitely under one of those. Then she told me she has no info prior to 2013. What? If you purchased your Dermawand prior to 2013 they will not repair a broken tip! The tip has broken both ties I have accidentally dropped it in 10 years. One rep told me I should take better care of my Dermawand. What a [censor]! Why don’t they make the tip out of a material that won’t shatter? Is this a marketing tool? Well, I won’t be replacing! That is for sure. This company stinks! No customer service!

I bought my Dermawand on Ebay for 99.00. I've been using it for 4 weeks, twice a day and for 15 minutes each and have not seen any improvement. My wrinkles are not smaller, my pours are not smaller I'm reselling it on Ebay.

I just purchased the dermawand a few months ago and the bulb went bad right away and when I called them to exchange for another one, they send me another one that I can't even open the cap. I haven't tried it long enough so say that it worked and it's broke already. I guess it's scam. Don't get fooled, if you just purchased it recently, return it right way.

BEWARE THIS PRODUCT EXPLODED ON MY FACE WHILE I WAS USING IT AND IT CUT MY FACE... I contacted derma wand in Jan 2016 and NEVER heard from anyone. Then after I left a review on their site a month ago, I heard from a customer rep. All she did was ask me for a receipt and I told her I didn't have it and she told me to contact ALL my credit cards and find it. I told them I cancelled some cards and could not do that. I did everything they asked and sent them the pictures of the cracked wand and of my cut face and never heard from them again. DO NOT BUY and the WORST customer service... They refused to even give me my money back.

I did not like the product, sent it back within their 30 day return policy and guess what my card was charged $39.99 and now trying to get them to refund that charge.Sent everything back as instructed also sent original paper work so they knew my acct. Not a happy person right now, I will maybe learn the hard way about trusting these types of companies, to bad the Derma wand company does not read these complaints, they need to.

I would love to purchase on; however I'm reading all of these comments that some are great and than some are horrible. I'm not sure what I should do now. The great thing that I see is that Amazon is selling the DermaWand for $144.00 for the Deluxe purchase. But I'm a little sad about if I should purchase it or not?

I strongly disagree with the negative reviews. First of all, they are not a scam. They charged me exactly what they said they would charge. I purchased a unit and if you use it twice per day, every day, as it tells you to do, you will have excellent results. You cannot use it for two weeks and expect a forever miracle. If you want results, you can't be lazy and stop. If you want miracles, go and have extreme surgery. If you want excellent results, use this unit twice daily just as it tells you to do. It has made me look 10 years younger and more. The people who are NOT having results, are those who are NOT using it correctly. Believe me, you will have beautiful results. I would NOT be without it and am getting ready to purchase another one so I can have one on hand should something happen to the one I have. I refuse to be without my DermaWand. I love it. Thank you DermaWand!

It's weird to read all these bad reviews. I use the dermal wand and really saw results quick. As far a customer service- they never charged my card any amounts that I was unaware of. My sister bought this product but I told her she could just share mine- we live together and she returned it with no problem. Most times people don't read terms conditions or the fine print so clicking ok can be an issue for them if they don't understand what they will get. I don't think it's fair to blame the customer service because of the lack of reading. I found this page because I wanted to give my journey with this product a review and this stuff on hear is just crazy. What's great about this company is they allow you to tried it without charging you for a month. I recommend just trying it because it worked for my sister and I and it might just work you. Good luck guys!

I ordered the Dermawand online and was really excited about using it and seeing results. Well I got charged alright but never received the product called and told them and they stated they had not had anyone with my name and card # order their product well that's funny because you showed up on my card statement and you took my money. Unfortunately I don't have the money to persue the issue legally so I didn't get my money back or the product. Can't say how the Dermawand worked but if it's anything like the people selling it ID say SCAM SCAM SCAM. IM Sorry but when I see the commercial is still running I wanna slap that lifted eye right off of her cocky little face. Ahh I feel a little better

BUYER BEWARE: I find a lot of these comments hysterical - You can tell when a DermaWand employee responds to the onslaught of "negative" posts and writes a "positive" comment. Their language use is nearly identical to the commercial. (LOL) My advice is to work with a professional and shy away from obvious scam products, especially a company with SO many issues regarding inappropriate billing practices. Better yet... Nothing wrong with a wrinkle or two. Don't let products like this mislead you into believing you need to fix it - Embrace the beauty that you are!

I bought it and as many have said...I too saw results and even got noticeable feedback from my husband. But I too being bullheaded decided to go full force on my face throat and chest, but consequently I forgot to adjust or lower the strength volume a couple of times around my eyes and as a result a day or so later suffered blood in my eye (left), but did not feel any type of pain, and then it happened again. At first I did not connect the dots! Until it happened a third time..My daughter was concern something serious was wrong with me? So then I thought it must be the dermawand? So then I paid special attention to not overdo my eyes and to stay within the instructed area of the eyes and yet I once again had blood in my eye..so stopped using altogether and then began to realize I looked triple older than when I initally started using this product, which concerned me greatly. As I do not want to be enslaved to anything to keep me looking younger. I am looking for long lasting results! So of course posed this question to their customer service and she just recommended I watch the instruction video for proper use and suggested use more custom results. But then she said, "of course you will need to continually use it to keep achieving the positive effects you want". So now I am afraid to continue use, because of my eyes and the rapid aging in my skin after non-use.. but I love their moisturizer and will continue to use that..but now looking for an alternative product to treat skin that will result in permanent improvement of my skin over time. I mean is a good product if you like fact you have to be discipline and virtually addicted to it... but just be careful with eyes..

I think Derma Wand IS a scam. They keep saying that my credit card did not work. My credit card company said they never received a charge. Actually, I never gave my Credit Card number because it was a FREE trial. So I think this is not legitimate company. Also I see no improvement after 2 weeks of use. Lynda

All I can say is I look forward to using this wand I use it as ofton as I can, just turned 52 I smoke so I had begon to get lines above the lips, and my jaw and eyes were beginning to sag especially when I was bending over. My skin is very fair, but I have been using it for a few weeks religiously, and love it was hoping to find more uses for benifit my health also wanted to see if there were any negative long term affects that I was not aware of. Thats what brought me to this website. So till I learn of some disastrous affects from the use of this wand I am going to continue to use it and Love it. I'm going go do it now!

To all of you who have submitted comments attacking those who wrote in saying that the device caused them burns to the skin by saying 'that is impossible, radio waves cannot cause burns', you could not be more wrong. You do not have to take my word for it, do some research, google it and you will quickly learn that RF (radio frequency) can and does cause burning to the skin. Radio waves are used in medicine for that purpose, cautery, to stop bleeding, so those that said they were burned were in all likelyhood, burned. As well, many of these mail order deals will scam you by not honouring their advertisement and will charge you the full amount, the shipping, and extra. I have had bad experiences also.

Anyone who trusts an infomercial for such a clearly dramatized product deserves to be ripped off. If you can take the time to leave a complaint, maybe one should spend a fraction of that time before purchasing ANYTHING from a tv commercial on a Google search to validate the company's claims. To those who keep getting charged for the product to their CC, just call your card company, state it's an unauthorized transaction and have the card cancelled. Next time try nuclear radiation instead of radio wave stuff. Maybe that will fix your brains for thinking something like radio waves will list skin. Or better yet, try jumping off a bridge. Zero gravity on your way down lifts skin too...

You can really tell which "comments" are actually placed here by the company reps. Using this site to call people out right liars, sooo pathetic. You're company is so ### and scammy you have to resort to that? happy I came across the REAL comments on here, won't be spending a dime of my money with your company and sincerely hope you are forced to pay these people back. Typically happens with companies based in China, had this issue before.

Hi I live in Canada Alberta, I will be 54 in December .2014 I bought my wand and 1 for my friend at are mall in the showcase store the price was $119.99, last year in the summer, I use mine off and on and my friend I think she uses it off and on but, she's 3 years older then me and we have different types of skin like everybody does, I eat more healthier then her because I have a colon problem that's why I can only eat and drink certain things she eats what ever she wants and we both drink a lot of water cause we were told buy are doctors its good for u and your skin we both have health problems take medication, she smokes am trying to stop smoking .As am reading these comments right now am using the derma wand in front of my computer and watching T.V.. too and texting on my cell phone. Well my comment is that am happy with it, it does not burn me so far and. I am very fair skin and real blonde my girlfriend has I think a little thicker skin then me and darker skin then me has brown hair and she is 3 years older then me with more sag in her skin like her cheeks and neck but I don't have that yet, but I know it might be coming soon, we both wear glasses and have wrinkles and bags around are eyes, she told me she wants to get rid of it and we both don't want to look old so when we were at the mall went into the showcase store and I bought 2 of them for us and have that bottle of derma vital with the whole package deal, there was 2 other type wands there but this one was cheaper and am not rich we live on disabilite cant spell very well sorry lol .Anyways The lady that sold it to us in the store said other, ladies bought it and her too and said they like it and it worked great no one has ever brought one back and we know the lady so we believed her honesty .So we both took them home and started to use the wand, neither one of us got burned, and saw results and used it a lot that summer, now with our daily lives we do get busy in life all of us do. But still we have our wands and we still use it every other week when we can at night when we are watching T.V. relaxing on the couch cause we get tired at night cause we are getting old, LoL. But I use mine again today while I was reading the comments online, now it is October 2014 in the afternoon, and felt like using it again .I am not sure if she is still using her wand cause we don't live together but just around the corner from my home. So I decided after reading, everybody comments I thought I would give u my comment on the derma wand and hope my comment goes on here too. So u guys can read my opinion on this machine too. And I love it I have no problems with the wand so far keeping my fingers crossed that it is working for me, cause now a days a lot of women don't like their wrinkles some go to doctors and get Botox but me and my friend we cannot afford it .And I did buy them in a store so I had no problems with the shipping handling or operators at the company don't feel like I got ripped off nothing is broken so far, knock on wood. My wand is working just fine so far with it being so old. Etc. After reading everybody problems u have had I have not. I guess maybe if u guys maybe should have bought your wand from a store like I did maybe u would not have had those problems with u saying u got ripped off or they are no good or a scam or it does not work for u . But u have to remember every women has different skin in life and some of us are healthy some are not some smoke some don't and so on and am trying to write my comment in a very nice way do not want to hurt any ones feelings. Just telling u my story and how I honestly like the derma wand we all have are different problems different situations . So I hope my comment has helped someone out there in the world . Cause I cant keep typing or I would be here all day writing a book lol. But thank you all if u read my comment, on your problems u guys had with your derma wand and those that did not so sorry for the ones . Bye and take care and good luck to the ones that decide to buy one in their future. :}

I have had my Dermawand for a couple of years now and I love the way it makes my skin feel and look! For those of you that haven't had any results I would ask, did you need it in the first place? I ask this question because I know much younger ladies then myself who try products like this when they don't even have a wrinkle to remove and then say it didn't work. Secondly, for those of you that state the Dermawand burnt your skin, I would tell everyone to always read the instructions carefully. The instructions tell you If you experience excessive peeling, you are using the Dermawand at too high of a setting for too long. If you experience dryness, add more moisturizer after using Dermawand. If dryness persists, discontinue use. Do not use high concentrations of AHA, glycolic acid or other abrasive products. Mild redness is good; however, if you experience excessive redness or swelling, cease use till your skin regains its' normal color and texture. Do not use Dermawand on skin that is prone to excessive amounts of broken capillaries or rosacea. As someone noted above, I am sure some might be allergic to this type of skin treatment. That is why it is very important to follow the Dermawand directions and start on the lowest setting. Not only does this give your skin time to adjust to its' use, it also won't cause severe damage should you be allergic.
Further, regarding the comments about problems ordering Dermawand and being overcharged. I would just say that I ordered it from TV also, paid with my bank debit card and had no problems. However, please note that I kept the product and did not attempt to return it. I hope this helps someone who might be considering purchasing the Dermawand.

I just purchased the Derma Wand from a TV commercial playing in the middle of the night. I didn't want to fuss with payments and decided to pay one time. They did ask me to buy other products, but I said no, no, no. They also asked if I wanted complimentary creams and such and I said yes to this. But they actually charged me around 15$ more for shipping if you say yes to these free products. All together they hit my credit card for a one time payment of $168 dollars. It took about 5 days to arrive. When I opened the box it came with my Derma wand and 5 other types of face products. The first time I used it was in the evening. I followed the directions on the DVD exactly. I looked noticeably younger immediately after the first use. I liked the so called free products but I didn't love them. I thought I would get even better results with a really good home made oil I make myself using essential oils and plant oils. The next evening I used
it exactly as instructed on the video and added some more techniques that they had in a Derma Wand brochure that comes with the wand, that adds the neck and more eye area directions with my home made oil. I could tell that my skin would get a little warm and sensed that you need to use common sense here and listen to the inner voice that says "Thats enough on that spot" and move on to another area. The next morning I used oil of olay for sensitive skin on my face. I looked FANTASTIC. A guy at work couldn't figure it out and asked if I lost weight because you could sure tell in my face. People were complimenting me. This next evening I used it again the exact same way and the next morning I noticed my skin was getting a little dry. My skin still looked tight and lifted but not as good as the day before. Lesson learned. This product works fantastic if you know how to use if for your skin type. I decided to use this about 3 or 4 times a week and to use my own face products. I like the derma wand a lot. It is a great tool to enhance your beauty if you can use it smartly. Don't over use it. I am happy with my Derma wand and at $168 dollars thought it was a steal. Especially since it can sometimes cost that for one professional spa treatment.

I never had a burn using this product, I don't use as described by the product but I received positive results from using the dream wand it lightens and tightens my skin. It is not a overnight success it takes time, I also use for about 5 min. Whenever I use it I don't use it twice a day as instructed but when I use it my skin is always tighter and brighter, I do feel a tingling when using, my eyes always seem brighter after using, love this product. Also I believe if you have mistreated your skin for years you can't expect this product to reverse the damage you have done or change bad habits if not regularly taking care of your skin. I also use a day cream with spf.20 and a night cream with glycolic acid this was my routine before I ever knew of a Derma wand, this product just enhances my routine up a level.

I am a trained cosmetician . In using devices like this if one is not careful and slow gping in a new skin care routine you get over sensitivity and may get redness and even slin burn if fairly sensitive to skin care products or skin cate devices of any sort.
In using this type of high frequency devices it is used on clean bare skn, and best to use a conductivity gel for a more soothing favial massage and muscle lifting quality as this device does..
When used on any skin itupe is best to go slow and always use at the lowest level possible when it is a new skin care routine, and not to be used everyday by skin sensitive individuals.
It is best to go slow and allow the skin to rest between sessions and to allow skin to build up tolerance to facial and muss le manipulation going on on top and under the dermal layer.
Sad there have been skin burns by to an intensive use and maybe used too long on facial areas. It is just seconds at each area as we build up tolerence.
I like mine . But I use it cautiously, and consider any medication or time spent in the sun to reuse on my face, and I am a trained professional. Hope this heps anyone considering any type of high frequencey facial device . They work, but must be tended with gentle respect on all skin types.
