I wrote telling them it didn't work (cos they didn't) so I wanted to cancel. I did it within the 14 days as I had heard it was a scam by then. The membership money was taken anyway 14 days later, so I called them on [protected] asking why I was deducted money. They said they hadn't had my letter, but cancelled my account and, although it took a bit of arguing, they agreed to refund the money taken. The amount taken was refunded as promised. They did take a second amount so if contacting them make sure you cancel both memberships. I've just called again, so I'm hoping I will get the second payment back too.

I ordered what I thought was a free sample of DermaC face cream which Victoria Beckham was endorsing etc etc and stupidly paid what I thought was the P&P. The package arrived and I had not used it when I received another email saying that I was about to receive another package which I supposedly ordered on the 09/09/16 at 05.21 in the morning? I never placed this order and emailed them about 5 times informing them that I did not want this order and to cancel it. Lo and behold, another package arrived today. No invoice again! I have been billed for £69.83 on both occasions. I read one of the above comments and and found a phone number. I rang through and a girl called Sarah answered. She had a record of my order no which was on the email. She tried to give me a spiel about terms and conditions which I told her were absolute rubbish as there was no mention of prices anywhere in the advert for the free sample. She supposedly went to her supervisor 2'ce while we were on the phone and finally said that they would refund the full amount after saying that they would refund half the amount which of course I would not entertain. She said this would occur within 7 to 10 working days. I have contacted the credit card company as well. What a scam! I shall now wait and see if the refund comes through. Never ever again will I be caught by these disgusting specimans who are ripping 1000's off by their illegal extremely dodgy dealings.

I have also been conned. I have tried pursuing this because although I agreed to Derma C which I received(not realising the conditions in the T&C's), I specifically declined Flawless and ended up being charged for this product when I didn't receive it initially or agree to it. After telling them via email I declined this offer I then receive one. My research shows that the company on the dispatch invoice Based Capital Limited was dissolved by compulsory strike off in January 2016, yet my dispatch note received end of August 2016 clearing shows them still trading. The PO Box which I returned the product to at the beginning of September 2016 is also rented by Based Capital Limited. The address in Milton Keynes appears to be that of an FCCA chartered accountant. It is general practice for some accountants to offer their address as a registered address for tax purposes. I wonder if he knows this company is trading fraudulently. The former company director also has an active company according to companies this house. This information is accessible to everyone on companies house so do check yourselves. I have contacted as many relevant depts as I can, ASA, TS, Action Fraud, Consumer Advice Service, Companies House investigation services and even Royal Mail to inform them they may well have a customer who is in breach of their terms and conditions for rented a PO Box. Next step is to write to the FCCA chartered accountant to make him aware of what is happening and also the former company director. Its possible someone is using it without permission? Im nit certain at this stage but maybe if someone is acting under a dissolved company the director is liable themselves?

It is rip off and hope the trade commission has been informed.
Thankfully I got a refund but only just, I had sent back the unopened product. I did not send it by registered post (expensive) and only had PO receipt. I really don't understand how people can have business like this!

I got the samples of Derma c and flawless eye serum and only paid £3.95 for postage on each. I have been using it since it came but it has not made any difference. The money was taken out of my account on 6 August and I have received by new statement in which these items are shown at £3.95 and on 20 August another payment is shown as £59.71, but I have not yet had anything yet. If you type in Derma c into your computer you will see they say the free trial is for 30 days. But I have not had it for this long. On querying with Barclaycard they say the firm states the free trial is for only 14 days, so I cannot claim.
The company has told a blatant lie.
I have cancelled my card and Barclaycard said they will send me a claim form against the company.

Just had exactly the same problem, no evidence of entering into a subscription and just had nearly £70 taken from my account. E-mailed the company and they have "assured" me my details have now been deactivated. As a precaution I have informed my credit card provider and they will block any further payments if demaC try again. If they use a different company name the bank have said they will refund me, I was also told that cancelling my credit card would not work as the old details would still be linked to the new account. I have taken the loss of £70 as a lesson learnt but will never fall for that trick again. What a bunch of con artists.

I took up the offer of a free trial pay postage only of £2.95 (which turned out to be £3.95). Item turned up quickly so I was pleased until I found that without my knowledge £69.83 had been taken out of my account. This came to light when another parcel landed on my doorstep. I have no recollection of terms and conditions stating anything about a subscription, I also cannot find anywhere to unsubscibe. I have resorted to contacting my bank and having the company blocked from taking any further payments. Unfortunately it is not fraud so the bank cannot recover the money for me, it is a scam.

I order the free trail and paid £3.95 but they have taken £69.83 without making it clear. I have requested refund and sent their item back. Feeling not happy and secure about their transaction. I did cancel my debit card but Lets see if they refund my money.

I recently bought Derma C as a sample but today when I've checked my account, I've seen money that £70 where taken by Derma C. I called my bank, and they adviced me to call this company and ask for a refund- I couldn't find anything apart the email they'Ce sent confirming my order. If I will call again my bank and ask for fraud department would that help me? I don't even know where to look and cancel my subscription. If anyone can help me with a link that's great

I ordered a "trial" of derma C and flawless eye cream. It took over a week to arrive, tried the products, neither had any effect as they show it does. Both are suspiciously similar. Today I sign on to check my bank and find two debits from my account, one for £59.71 and the second for £69.83!

At no point does the derma c website offer information that you are signing up for a continued payment scheme. There is no contact option or anything to allow you to cancel your "trial"! Can't believe I fell for this scam. Contacted bank straight away and hope they can hopefully get my money back. At least any future debits have been blocked! Do not buy from Derma C, they are a fraudulent company!

Having signed up for the offer as a present for my wife, I was lucky enough to find this site before the end of the 14 day period.
The Terms & Conditions are accessed at the bottom of the advert(s). This is a legal, if rather unethical, way of complying with UK law. It's complying with the letter of the law but not the spirit.
Hardly a scam, but certainly very bad business practice.
An agreement for continuous payments shoulkd be stated clearly at the point of payment.

I was just about to purchase the trial for 3.95 in UK but i read in the terms, which is a really small tab at the end of the page, that after 14 days if you dont cancel the "subscription " they will bill you for the total price and continue billing you every 30 days claiming they will send you a new 30 day supply

DermaC. Bought what I thought was a free trial product with £3.95 shipping fees. Product arrived quite quickly and was a sample size bottle, so did not think anything more about it. When reviewing my on-line account noticed that £69.83 had been deducted. Won't be fooled again on buying products on-line. Looking at some of the comments raised here on this website, contacted my bank immediately to prevent any further outgoing payments. Thank you to those who posted their comments, you have prompted me to act quickly. Most appreciated.

I am so upset... I ordered both products for the free trial. The money was taken for p&p at £3.95 each on the 1st July and waited for the product to arrive, it never did. Today I checked my online banking to find that on the 27th July £17.46 was taken out of my account from dermaface London GB and £14.93 was taken out of my account from flawless bury GB. With not even receiving the products I am extremely upset that they are taken money from me and my kids. How can they not and any products and still charge. All I wanted was the free trial to see if I could look a little better on my wedding day (August 10th) but nope that's not happening. So now I'm going to have to fight with my bank to get this sorted.

BEWARE these companies are scam artists and have ruined my wedding day.

I wish I could read this earlier.. I have just received the cream today so please advice at this stage, i should contact them to say I withdraw the order and then can cancel any further payment? In fact, I didn't see any where about terms and conditions during the order process... Please would anyone can advice me? If I send the box back by record delivery then it can confirm I did send the stuff back? Just in case, I will never got anyone to respond in the phone? Please please give me some advice. Thanks

Don't even bother with this serum God knows what is inside. I applied it to my face and got red eyes immediately allergic reaction. stumbled on this site and realised what a scam. Got in touch with my bank and cancelled the subscription. I will check my bank regularly to ensure I see their request at the pending stage before it goes through. Ready for this ###.

Ordered this product without doing research - and then found out about scam. Cancelled my card immediately and reported it. Why is this company still allowed to trade? They also used Victoria Beckhams name to promote this. She has the money to sue if her name is linked to these scammers.

Never received the product however they took over 70 pounds from my account and would only refund 70 percent. When I asked for a full refund they said that I needed to contact the post office myself and find out what happened. Then they hung up on me. They are stealing people's money!

If you bought more than one product you may still have time to stop other transactions, remember they withdraw under different product names, one for each product you have ordered!

I seen there product through advertising on social media, was a little sceptical but seen feedback was not so bad, I ordered the trial for 3.99 after realising that this was no good for me I contacted them to return it they gave me a cancellation number I returned the product to see that a few days ago 69.83 has been taken out of my account.. Now I will be reporting this place to trading standards as its diabolical to be robbing people under false advertisement

Well my expectations have been blown out of the water, the day after I phoned demanding a refund I received 50% back, I then returned the serum following their instructions to the letter, I had to write a return number on the front of the package, then I had to phone them with the tracking number, I returned it special delivery, they confirmed it had been received and issued the remainder of the balance, I was really shocked. My bank cancelled the recurring payment but said anything I got back was a bonus, I was just assertive with them told them what I wanted and why...the serum brought me out in spots and I stuck to my guns...good luck everyone.

I tried to cancel this within the set time scales I had read the T's & c's, expecting no further payments to leave my account and £69.83 has been debited from my card today, when I phoned I was given the scripted speech even though I explained that I had cancelled my subscription, I was offered a 50% refund, I refused was put on hold, given another 5 mins of script not listened to then TOLD my refund OF £34.91 will be refunded 7 to 10 days! furious doesn't come close. I won't be leaving it at that. It might take me time and effort but I will not let this lie.

If you read the small print on this derma c offer it says you will be charged shipping fee of £2:95 for the trial cream and then each month they will send you a tube of the cream for £87 unless you cancel your order with them which must be done within 21 days so no they are not scamming the customers you need to read the small print when purchasing these online trials

I've been conned too! Rang bank to advise them. Then rang the call centre, obviously re-directed to an overseas line and almost had to beg them to cancel this item they then gave me a reference number to put on the package to s nd back. Also gave me a new address as the one on the box has changed - how convenient! Only hope that the bank do keep an eye on this transaction. However, they change their name to other companies so it's hard for the banks to keep a 100% check. I feel a fool for doing this.

Just discovered that 4 debits of over £80 each have been taken from my account in June and July. Not realising till now, I hold my hands up, is my fault, as I have paperless banking, I don't check my statements as often as I should. And if, it did actually say it in the T&Cs, again my fault but the website is deliberately vague about what you are actually signing up for and if it wasn't a scam, it would be far more up front and transparent. I have just contacted them to cancel as I have recently been made redundant and can't afford for this to continue. Obviously, I'd prefere a refund and have offered to return any unused, still sealed product but I'm not holding my breathe but I do need peace of mind to know they can't take any more. Will contact my bank tomorrow as well.

Hi i read the terms and conditions and when money was taken from my account from Dermac i did not recognise the name as the products i had were Radient and Lumia, so i rang my bank and raised a dispute they then gave me a number for the company, i rang the number they gave me and they advised if i returned the products i will get my full £177 refunded as its before the 30 days, in the mean time the bank refunded my money and i thought it was all over, then 2 months later the bank re debit my account for £177 as Dermac sent proof i clicked read T&C's, so im out of pocket by £177 and no product, i rang Dermac and on 3 diff calls was told its ok we will refund you, then on the last call i made was told as i raised a dispute with my bank i will not be refunded, can anyone help, at no point was i ever asked if i had raised a dispute i would not be refunded... do not buy from this company... its all a con

The same happened to me! First payment of £2.95 taken on 6th June which I agreed to but then £67.33 on the 30th June and then £89.78 on 30th July unauthorised. I have a busy life so only just noticed it. It is a SCAM, I have never agreed to a monthly payment. Contacted AMEX (luckily I used my credit card), they put a stop to the payments and disputed both unauthorised transactions. Please DO NOT give them any of your details!

Same again sent postage fee for free sample and they subsequently extracted £227.40 from my card without authorisation.
Reported it to MBNA and they say they will credit me these charges, I intend to report all to the trading standards and the police.
Good luck to all victims.
