I purchased some Debbie Travis bowls at Canadian Tire in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. I ensured that I read all the labels to confirm these bowls were dishwasher and microwave safe. After washing the bowls in the dishwasher, I noticed cracking between the bowl surface and the exterior clear finish. I emailled Debbie Travis (which was almost impossible) and indicated that I was disappointed in the poor quality of the bowls I had purchased. Her assistant, Michelle Lake, replied to my email and sent me a tracking number to follow up with. She also suggested I return the product to Canadian Tire. The product is not made by Canadian Tire, it is made by Debbie Travis and carries her name, not the Canadian Tire name. I expected Debbie Travis to ask for my information to supply either replacements for the bowls or refund my money. Instead, I was told that I would have to resolve the issue for myself. Talk about a lack of consumer concern! I will not trust the Debbie Travis name for any products that are out on the market. These products are obviously inferior, otherwise why wouldn't Debbie Travis take action rather than ignoring my concerns and passing me off to her assistant?

I bought a Debbie travis comforter/sheet set for my queen bed. I really loved the design of the comforter and the colour was wonderful. I took everything out of the bag and I noticed how the sheets were made of really poor quality, like really thin and they didn't seem like something that would last. So I started putting the fitted sheet on my mattress and it doesn't stay in place properly and it moves with you when you sleep🙄. So I was willing to get over the fact that this set doesn't have the best quality sheets. Well then, I went to wah my comforter for the first time, and I washed it on delicate and followed the washing instructions, and it tore in the one corner. It wasn't a small tear, it was completely shredded in the corner. Now, mind you my washer is a fairly new washing machine and it definitely was not the machine that ruined the comforter. So now I'm just frustrated because I have never purchased a bedding set which had such poor quality before. I will never purchased any of Debbie Travis products again due to the very unsatisfactory product recieved. In my opinion, first impression was very negative and I won't be giving this brand another try.

I purchased a table from the Rosseau collection from Sears in March 2016 from Sears (close to 800.00)
This year when we took it out of storage I noticed there was rust in 3 separate areas
I contacted Sears but I do not seem to be getting anywhere with this issue other than contact the manufacture
I am getting the run around from, on the Sears site it says 5 year warranty, however they say that’s by the manufacture
How am I supposed to contact them as there is no contact information available
I did find on one of her sites a contact section..
I filled out the info and explained the situation, I hit submit and guess what.. I received an error
Tried the same site with 3 different browsers all with the same result.. what a scam

We purchased a vanity and we broke one of the glass panels in the door. I emailed her site with no response . I emailed again and days later got a response telling me to inquire at Canadian Tire ( they carry her brand ) and to see if they had replacement glass. Kind of ridiculous, I thought. Never did ask, knowing they wouldn't have it. You would think she would have a website for such things. Glass is still broken

Interestingly, I am in the process of trying to match these plates with others available as separate items, as half of my Metro white dinner and salad plates [3 sets], also purchased from Canadian Tire about 2 yrs ago, have cracked and turned brown under the glaze, or chipped. I did email to the Debbie Travis website and received a reply, with apologies that I was having trouble with the product and to check with Canadian Tire. Of course, they are no longer stocked.
I just did find 3 open stock dinner plate styles that are similar enough in colour and appearance, at Bowring, and they are on sale right now. I have had no problem with the Metro cups or bowls...
With all the complaints, it is clear that the plates are defective, and I too feel that Debbie Travis should stand behind her product or at least have knowledge of where replacements are available.

Mine too! We bought three sets all the same and was supposed to be the last set we were to ever buy... Half have chips... Even though we spent a fortune on them, they look like garbage? They're now discontinued and we've had them for over a year. Will Canadian Tire take them back? I cant believe they would even sell such garbage.

Someone please email me flikkemabryan@hotmail.com

Okay. So how do we get in contact with her. Does anyone have her contact information that they could share. I too have had the same problem. I was thinking that maybe I received 2 sets that were defective. Bought 2 sets from Canadian Tire as well when they had their Black Friday sale (American Thanksgiving) Bought two sets so that I would have enough for 8 people. Within a week one of my lunch plates had a chip followed by a few more within a month. I had two plates break completely in half. One in the dish water and one when my son put a stack of 4 plates on the table the bottom plate broke in half. I am so disgusted with these dishes. Waited a long time to buy new ones. I do not fault Canadian Tire at all and how are they going to help me. I think I have the receipt still, but really are they going to refund all of my money when three of my plates are broken and gone. Have they been instructed to refund people their money if they are bringing back Debbie Travis dishes. I will never buy them again. I would expect her to look into the product and find out why so many people are having problems with her dishes. Stand behind your product please. I would prefer a refund, but if she cannot do that then I guess we could try more dishes from her for free, but I am thinking the same think will happen again. How frustrating.

I am having the same problem I e-mailed DT but have not heard anything at all back from anyone in her company. Very dangerous to put in the microwave even though they say they are okay to go in there. Not happy at all. Paid decent money for them, thought I was buying quality because of the name. shame on you Debbie Travis. Will not buy anything at all that she endorses or makes.

Same thing happen to me with the DT dishes. Chips and cracks. I had Zellers dishes for 20 years with no issues.

I would agree. I purchased two sets of Debbie Travis dinning ware and i have but one plate left. All have cracked or chipped ( I mean chunked) into pieces, I lost 3 at one time just laying them down. I am quite surprised, because I have had Dollar store brand dishes and still do use them without any chipping or cracking of the sort. It was not the best spent 150.00$
knowing now I have little recourse, The only thing left to do is let people know to be a bit weary of a product being promoted by a celebrity!

I totally agree with you. Unlike you, I cannot find Debbie's contact information. I bought 2 sets of the 16-Piece Allison Dinnerware and the first time I put it in the microwave it cracked. These dishes are microwave and dishwasher safe. Most of my plates have chips in them and 3 of my dishes broke completely in half while washing them. I have had them for 13 months and contacted Canadian Tire and they stated that there's only a 1 year warrenty on them. I spent alot of money on them and after a year, they are completely ruined. I am totally dissappointed and will never again trust any of her products.
