Real Estate Mentor ripoff
Complaint Rating: 92 % with 25 votes
I paid nearly $2, 000.00 for the Real Estate Mentor and all I was given was a video course to follow!! I have attempted numerous times to contact my Real Estate Mentor with no success. I leave message after message for a return call and to date (4 months), I have received nothing!! Do not sign up for the Mentor program, It's just a video program you log on to and read and follow prompts.

There is no one to ask questions/interact with regarding the content of the videos. What a waste, my friend signed up for a similar course which consisted of DVD's, reading materials and it only cost him $200.00.

Complete waste of money!

I am very concerned that people will be mislead by this man. It is clear to me that he does not care about the average person who may have only their life savings to sustain them. Mr. Graziosi is only out for the money he can get from people who are just trying to make it. He does not realize that his actions will affect many others. There are some people out there who have wrote wonderful reveiws about this man, and I am happy that things worked out for them. These people who have great praise for him mean well, but even they are failing to realize the smokescreen that the praises provide mearly covers up the majority of the disasters that happen to countless individuals and families who are trying to survive where our economy is concerned. Thank You C Morgan OKC OK

If Graziosi is so BRILLIANT at real estate himself, why is he hustling books and DVDs on infomercials. You don't see Donald Trump pushing this kind of stuff. He doesn't need the money and obviously knows a whole lot more than Graziosi. I wouldn't send this guy any more money than I would Kevin Trudeau, and that amount is exactly ZERO. I just finished watching Graziosi's latest infomercial where is includes a video from "an actual person". Whoopee! an "Actual Person"? As opposed to what?, a dog or an alien. This guy is full of B.S. There are no secrets are magic to real estate. Just common sense. Go to the library and do some research on your own for free and you'll come out far better.

My husband ordered the book but then I looked online and realized he was not reputable, so after discussing it with my husband we decided to just send the package back. I found out you had to call a different number than costumer support (800-973-3714) and get a confirmation number of any return merchandise. I also obtained a confirmation number from the post office that the package was refused, Knowing I was in for a hassle. When the money was finally refunded to the account it was only half of what the Dean Graziosi charged for the original order. I called four times to inquire why? when it was 30 day free trial. They said it was for shipping.

Dean Graziosi and his course can help you to understand the real estate market and find a big opportunity when other only find problems and crisis. I bought the book and it opened my eyes. The news says that we are in economical crisis but the instructions in the book and inthe course teach you how to find opportunities. I made my first deal and I made some profits, not much money but it's a begining. You can see other people like me and his testimonials in www.youtube.com/realestatemillions

I ordered the course about a month ago, and I have to say that this is the best material for the beginner real estate investor I have known, and I've tried a few. The teaching style gives me the confidence to try. The difference in thinking that this course express, ensures me that I'll be a real estate investor.

Do not send Dean or his henchmen any of your hard earned $$$$!
After you buy Dean's book a few groups will call you to extract money from you. This is really how Dean makes his money, not from real estate but by scamming hard-working Americans. These groups are ITS Training and The Tax Club. ITS is located just down the street from Dean's operation and they are a total ripoff. They will extract any amount of cash they can from you starting at $6215. Dean is in bed with both these groups that have numerous complaints about them at the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Protection Agency, etc, etc. Dean farms out this work so he keeps his internet image clean, but he is a crook just like these guys. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. The book is fine but DO NOT SEND THEM ANYMORE OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. Everything in their bogus training can be learned just by reviewing a few of these topics on this board...

My husband sent for Dean Graziosi's book, we both became very interested in the concept. Then the call from Dusty. Are you interested & willing to learn the exact program that Dean offers? Great, here's Max Hall assistant administrator to Mr Jerome King. Once they ask you how much credit you have on your credit cards, that becomes the magic $$ for the TOOLS to build your business. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE MONEY! He wanted about $3, 5000. This was about what we had open on our credit cards. We told Max we would have to think about it. He said he would call back in a half an hour. We checked in internet. We found too many complantes. When he called back, I said no to the $3, 500. He had another option. I said no again. I told him that Dean had complants on the internet. He said that they were not true and hung up on Me. Don't give them your hard earned money.

I have seen this person on TV somewhere, this man driving a car with both of his hads out of the wheel. This is illegal and and what do the police do about this. It is also a bad example for young kids.

I seriously wonder if the naysayers on this site have actually attempted to apply Dean Grasiosi's books or programs. Oftentimes, people are all too willing to shout scam because of some preconceived notion that something automatically has to be a scam because it is being sold from an infomercial.

The fact of the matter is that if you are ready to dismiss any program that requires real work, Dean Grasiosi's or any other program, you aren't going to succeed in the first place...at ANYTHING. Instead of blowing a lot of hot air, wasting time on these types of sites, your time would be better spent trying to make money.

Actually, I take that back. Keep on whining and complaining and wasting precious time. That way, people who are serious about making money in real estate can keep getting richer, while you will probably die broke. So carry on...you bunch of spineless, whiny crybabies.

I have a real issue with any program that you try to purchase, and then there are all these other "offers" that they try to get you to purchase! It is BS! I just wanted the books, and had to sit on the phone for over 20 minutes of "take advantage of this free 14 day trial". That really put a bad taste in my mouth, what a scam!

I ordered his book in august 09 and was only suppose to pay $9.95 for shipping and handling. Then I noticed in September and Octber on my credit card statement that 2 more charges came off my card from this company that was not authorized. I called my cerdit card company to find out what was going on. They told my this company took these charges off my card under two diffrent names but with the same phone number. I have been trying to call their customer support line only to keep getting the same recording. This company is a BIG SCAM. Do not give them you credit card number and, if you have check you monthly statements from the time you ordered your book. You might have charges on your card that you don't know about.

Obviously any one on here who says anything good about Dean Graziosi and his program are actual people who work for him or maybe it's Dean himself. It is a known technique that they will have people post postive experinces with different screen names or multiple accounts praising what ever they are selling or doing . That way instead of just hearing horror story after horror story on all web sites about this scam product they will intreject postive stories from false people claiming they had great experiences with this product. And this is to raise doubt that it is a scam for potential customers who are wanting to buy the product but have come on here to review it first and those positive posts put the complainers down saying your not following the program right and your too lazy to follow through with it etc. If you read some of the positive posts on here you can see they actually sound like infomercials themselves.
If you see ANY infomercial do yourself a favor, change the channel and save your money that everyone is out to get in one way or another.

I am also on the totally same boat here. I spent a foolish 12K on some "total package". It turns out the package was not the "total package" after all. A few days after I got the package I started getting phone calls from some other "tax" company telling me that "Dean" gave them my number and that I needed to purchase their product at a whopping 5K in order to truly be successful. So then it begs the question, didn't I already buy a complete package? You would think so at 12K. So why then these calls? Then I started getting email from some other guy stating that he got my info from Dean and that I need to purchase his credit repair services in order to make money in real estate. Then, the super duper advisor that was assigned to me had a difficult time showing up on time or answering emails. Then guess what, I called the hotline to find out how to go about finding out the last price a home was purchased for and the lady on the hotline told me it was not possible with their software. Well, I played with the prop trend software they sent me for a few minutes and it turns out this thing does in fact give you the last price a home was purchased for. Which begs the question why did the lady on the hotline not even know this? This is crazy. I have been calling since last week trying to get a hold of someone in order to return the product. I have not yet received a call. And I think I am not going to get one. I am in the process of working with my bank and a lawyer that specializes in telemarketing fraud in order to take further action. There's no way I am going to let these guys get away with this. Cheers

A website called "Complaints board" is bound to attract a lot of complaints and it sure does. Dean Graziosi is not forcing any one to send him money nor can he. Use common sense. Making money in the real estate market is possible but not everyone can. If everyone made piles of money in real estate why would anyone need a real job? If you want to invest in real estate start slowly after gaining some knowledge in it. See how it works out for you. Nobody has to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars for this information. Most of it is available right on your computer. Not everyone will be sucessfull in real estate investing but many people are. Some indeed make millions. Can you?
