Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how Dairy Queen handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with Dairy Queen and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

Dairy Queen "royal" ultimate choco brownie blizzard

I just went through the dairy queen in Washington Pennsylvania and order some things, one being the aforementioned Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie Blizzard. Said blizzard had the requested extra "everything" meaning chocolate chip chunk types of things and brownie bits. I get home and there is nothing Royal about said blizzard. There is absolutely no hot fudge sauce in the middle as there is supposed to be. This is the first time in a long time the above mentioned dairy queen has messed up my order, so I'll let it slide. But I hope you people call them and talk to them about it.

Dairy Queen not honoring breakfast hours

I eat at my local dairy queen almost every morning. Usually I am there early, but sometimes on weekends its later. The breakfast hours on Saturday and Sunday are advertised as 5-7-11. This means breakfast should be served until 11 am on Saturday. So this Saturday morning I arrive at the drive thou at approximately 10:36 am and they r already serving lunch and told me breakfast ended at 10:30. Mind u 2 weeks ago I got there at 10:55 and still got breakfast so I am very upset with the inconsistency. Breakfast is the only meal I eat thou the whole day and I wanted badly today so I will no longer be contributing a dime of my money to the local dairy queen located in Morristown TN!

Dairy Queen double cheeseburger, vanilla and chocolate milkshakes

First of all, was in the drive through and it took 30 dam minutes just for them to take my order. Second of all, it took another 20 dam minutes just to get my ###. and Third of all, the chocolate milkshake leaked all over my car because there was a dam crack in the cup and on the other milkshake, they didnt have the lid on it all the way and it got all over the dam place in my new 2016 Honda Civic. I am not very happy! Its supposed to be a fast food restaurant, not a dam 1 hour wait to get your food and stuff. I used to go there all of the time, but here in the passed year, it aint got nothing but a bunch of lazy ### workers working there that goof around instead of doing their dam job and should have been fired a long time ago. I wouldnt recommend anybody to go there! Id be ashame!

Dairy Queen extremely slow service with little apology and a lack of efficiency

I went to Dairy Queen on Kitsap Way in Bremerton today at 11:17am. I ordered a fish sandwich combo and an extra fish sandwich. There were two cars in front of me. The car in front of me actually left the line without getting their order. I was about to do the same because it is a fast food restaurant and the service should be fast. However, I had two very hungry toddlers with me. So, I waited and waited. When I got to the window, I paid for my food - over $12 which I thought was too much. Then I was told to pull over and wait longer because they wanted to cook my food fresh. I was not given an apology for the delay. The restaurant inside did not look busy. I got my food (it was brought out to my car by a staff member who did not seem in a rush to get me my food. He apologized. I received the food at 11:37am. With only one car in front of me, I can't fathom how it would take 20 minutes to fulfill my order at a fast food restaurant. That is not fast food.

Dairy Queen service

After complaining a week or two ago about getting [2] 4 piece meals on two occasions when I had a coupon from a competitor for a five piece meal. The JOKE was that you had the manager call me and explain that they only had a 3 4 and 6 piece meal and they gave the equivalent. Today I went in around 1 or 2 pm and gave them a competitors coupon for a three piece meal. Was told by female they did not have a three piece meal and was talking about me to others and I can hear well. After getting a calculator and figuring it up, she priced it at $4.48 and I gave her $20.48. Waiting on my change, she said can I help you ladies which were behind me. Me in my frustration moved over letting them order forgetting my change. Driving halfway home then remembering my change.I drove back and told them. Some #### pulled register and checked and I had to wait while my food got cold and drink got hot in car. After 15 minutes bringing my $16 out and I told him my food was cold and he said he was sorry about that. I will make it a point to put DQ down and dare my friends and family to eat there again. And do NOT have the manager or whatever he is call me...

Dairy Queen your parksville location in particular your cook/manager

Good evening me and my girlfriend had a terrible experience tonight between 7:15-7:30pm at your parksville location. All of our food we orderd was not correctly cooked as in our fries were both cold and white not cooked, browned or crispy like they should be and our burgers were cold and almost soggy like they have been sitting there for over a half hour after being prepared. When we went back after we could not eat our food the girls at the desk didnt know where there "manager/cook" was so they had to run outside and find him and we he came back in all that we could smell was the very strong scent of marijuana coming off his breath and cloathing. I understood at that moment he is unable to do his duties while under the infulence of drugs at work. Not a very smart choice and rather pathetic that someone can mess up a fast food resteraunt order. It was very disappointing to us as this is our one day off work together as we both work full time 6/7days a week 7am-5pm. I hope to hear a follow up about this as it kind of put us in a terrible mood. I would like to note tho that it took him almost a mintue to count out less then $16.00 in change for our refund which confirmed he is under the influence. Red eyes dont lie either. The girls working the till and making the drinks did a very good job fullfilling there duties or tasks and our drinks were delicious. We will be awaiting a call back and i can be reached at [protected] and if i miss your call please leave a detailed voicemail with a contact number + extension number i can contact you back at. Thank you and have a good night.

Dairy Queen unethical behavior

Today I made an order in the dining area at Dairy Queen, here in Shelbyville Tn. Firstly the restaurant wasn't busy other than a few costumers in the dining room as well as 1 person in front of me. When I get to the register I notice the girl named megan already having a bad attitude with me. She rudely handed me my change and receipt. After 10 mins the girl working at the register gives the people that were in front of me their food and with attitude tells me mine will be out soon. Noticing her attitude and the disgusting condition of the restaurant I stayed standing exactly where I was to CONTINUE waiting. She comes to tell me it will be another 10 mins and I had already been waiting 10 mins. for a small order(A HAMBURGER). By then I was sick of her attitude and asked for my money back. She TELL'S "Well if you stop rushing me I'll give it to you" So I stand there Even after doing this it took several minutes for ANYONE to help me. Mind you there were only a couple people in the dinning room and they had already gotten their order and left. The FAT coward of a woman couldn't face me and had the cook come out to deal with me. He was polite despite him being interrupted from his job and asked me what I needed. I proceeded to tell him that I either want my food or my money back. He asked if I had my receipt, and as I was getting ready to hand it to him the girl that was behind the register YELLS I gave him the receipt!" Finally after almost 20 mins I get the food I ordered and wouldn't you know it...IT WASN'T EVEN FRESH! I wouldn't have minded waiting for the food even if it was a ridiculously long time but it was the fat girl having an attitude with me that got me angry. Again it was not busy and there was no reason to be rude and disrespectful like she was... I feel appropriate action needs to be taken so this won't happen to anybody else.

Dairy Queen biscuit and gravy

This is my second visit to your Dairy Queen store in the Peachtree Ctr Mall in Atlanta Ga. My first visit was t0 order the Biscuit and Gravy I saw advertised in your revolving picture advertisement. It was biscuit and gravy with sausage being folded into the gravy. I got to work and saw only the biscuit and gravy and no sausage. I went back the next day to order again and told the server my biscuit did not have sausage in it like in the pic. She stated it does not come with sausage. I pointed to the advertisement video which clearly showed sausage being folded into the gravy. She stated if I want it that way, it will be 1.99 extra. I told her that was false advertising if you are not serving it as pictured. I purchased the biscuit with gravy and paid extra for the sausage. I don't think its fair my having to pay extra for sausage.

It says biscuits and gravy, not biscuits and sausage gravy. Doesn't matter what the picture shows. One shows eggs on the platter with the gravy but that does not mean you get eggs. It is a photo showing the options.

Dairy Queen employee bryon mykee

As a customer of Dairy Queen this is one time that I was not happy. There employees who are working and a general manager who is always on the phone. I believe there is a correct way to treat people. I have a problem with that everytime I come in employees are working. Bryon states he is the general manager I would like to know how. Dairy Queen is very lucky they still have employees working for them.

In all of Dairly Queen's High Cost; Prim time advertising, there is no mention of 4:pm cutoff which was described to me by your Cashier. He went on to tell me That I could get the condense of a $5 Buck Lunch for a mere $7.50. Everything that is except a Sunday : so when I went back to get a Sunday My meal ended up costing over ten dollats.. .. ..So I've been to Qairy Queen for a $5 Buck Lunch Twice!~ My first and my last time.

Dairy Queen unethical behavior

Please look into the actions of your district manager in Greensburg IN. The community is outraged in regards to this persons behavior. The store is being boycotted by many in the community due to the firing of a staff person who acted as a caring human being. To be fired for feeding a homeless person? Really? She used her money to purchase the sandwich, employee discount or not, once it's paid for she could have ate it, threw it away, step on it, who cares? She helped a person who is down and out. Her action are of kindness and true at heart. Get your act together DQ, this Owner of the store and DM need to go. Their actions reflect poorly on Corporate, your putting people of this caliber in management positions? You need to do better.

Dairy Queen peanut buster bars

I purchased a 6 count box of Peanut Buster Bars as I love the Peanut Buster Parfaits. These are awful. I'm sorry I wasted the $10.00 to purchase them. The chocolate tasted fake and the ice cream tAsted like eggs. I tried another one to see if it was possible the 1st one was the bad one in the box. Not so. The 2nd one was just as awful.

Dairy Queen rude employee/manager

Stopped at a Dairy Queen in Alexandria, MN on Good Friday to order their shrimp basket. Item was pictured on the wall and their menu. I ordered the basket for my son. We received the cup to fill the pop ourselves. About 5 minutes later, the manager (?) asked if we had ordered the basket. I went to the counter and she told me, very grumpily, that they were no longer available and hadn't been for some time. I was a bit surprised as why did they still advertise it in the store then? I told her my son had already started to drink the pop, she then refunded me the price of the basket itself. Charging me full price for the pop. No "sorry for the inconvenience", nothing but my money basically slapped back into my hands as she slammed the cash drawer closed. My son just looked at me and as we left, he asked me why I didn't comment back to her. I told him she wasn't worth it. Won't go back to that place!

Dairy Queen food that we ordered.

WE ate at a Dairy Queen in Marlinton WV and service and food was great. We went to the Dairy Queen in Weston WV because we had enjoyed the sandwiches we had had at Marlinton. Very disappointed in food we ordered. My husband ordered a Turkey BLT and bacon not done on it and bread very cold. I ordered Chicken Marcella and they said they did not have it after I was served another sandwich of a different kind. Service was not too bad but food could have been so much better. Thanks for this complaint board hoping someone can let Weston know.

Dairy Queen peanut buster parfait - made me very ill

On March 5, myself along with 3 others visited the dairy queen in Carlisle, Pa about 730pm to get ice cream. I and another person ordered peanut buster parfeits and the other two ordered blizzards. The young girl that made the peanut buster parfeit took ten minutes. I could only partially see what she was doing as a wall blocked alot of my view. When she handed me and the other person the parfeits, they didn't look right. We accepted the parfiets as there was a few people waiting to get their orders taken. The fudge on our parfeits were ice cold and had a burnt taste. We couldn't finish them because of the bad flavor. The one person in our party had ordered a turtle blizzard. She said it tasted like vanilla ice cream. After leaving, I became nauseated and am still feeling ill from the parfeit. I went in to see the owner or manager today as I passed the establishment on my way home and he was not there. I called when I got home. I explained to the owner G. Scott Ramsey that the fudge was ice cold and had a burnt taste. He said that was not true and as much as called me a liar. I explained to him that I did not call to get something free but to alert him to as to what happened so that when I come back in the future, I would get a quality product . Mr. Ramsey was extremely rude to me and said that's two complaints you have, anymore? Yes, I said. The music was very loud and extremely annoying and the place was filled with older people. He again accused me of lying and said the radio station by name. I said yes, that was the radio station but the music was not appropriate. Mr. Ramsey was not in the establishment at that time. He said that's three complaints now that you have in a very disrespectful manner. I said I have one more complaint and that is your attitude and that I will never come back to your establishment again. Mr. Ramsey represents your product. I can't believe you would allow him to speak to a customer the way he did when in fact I was alerting him to try to help him out.

Dairy Queen They promised me one price and changed it quickly

Don’t do any business with the company DQ Salvage and Scrap. We agreed that they would pay me 50 cents for the aluminum can and in result I got too small fee per can. They have changed the prices and said that our previous agreement was only conversation and they refused to pay 50 cents. This company ripped me off and I wouldn’t deal with them again. They are unreliable and unprofessional. It isn’t worth it.

Dairy Queen undercooked hamburgers

Last visit 01/15/2016. Usually I request my burger to be fully cooked. This time, I didn't resulting in a hamburger that was more pink then I cared for. When I order a burger at DQ, it's the only fast food restaurant I have to stress about making sure my burger is well done. I did not go back after biting into the rare burger, I just simply chalked up to DQ not using thermometers to check the correct temperature of their products...again. It wasn't easy trying to cook it again, in the microwave, but it was better than what I received. It would also be nice if DQ would not reheat the fries, just simply cook fresh ones.

Dairy Queen unethical behaviour

Today I made an order via the drive through at Dairy Queen, here in Raton NM. First of all the restaurant was NOT busy other than a few costumers dining inside as well as 1 car in front of me. When I got to the window I noticed the cashier already having a bad attitude with me. She rudely handed me my change and asked me to pull forward and park to wait for my food even though there were no cars behind me. I agreed and pulled forward behind the car parked next to the OVER FLOWING trash can. After 10 mins. the woman working at the window comes out and brings the car in front of me their food and (with attitude) asks me to "pull forward by the trash can" I answered "ok?...even though there's no one behind me?" she ignores me and walks inside. Noticing her attitude and the disgusting condition of the trash I stay parked exactly where I was to CONTINUE waiting. After another 10 mins. she comes out again to tell me to pull forward. By now there was a car at the window. I was not in anyone's way and I had already been waiting 20 mins. for a small order. By then I was sick of her attitude and asked for my money back. She YELLS "Well if you come inside I'll give it to you" So I roll my window up, turn off my tuck which is still in the same spot, get my toddler out of his car seat, lock up my vehicle and go inside. Even after doing this it took several minutes for ANYONE to help me. Mind you there were only a couple people in the dinning room and the car behind me had already gotten their order and left. The coward of a woman couldn't face me and had the cook come out to deal with me. He was polite despite him being interrupted from his job and asked me what I needed. I proceeded to tell him that I either want my food or my money back. He asked if I had my receipt, I said "no I left it in the truck but if that's my food right there I'll just take it." As I'm saying this the rude window woman interrupts with "I gave her the receipt!" Finally after almost half an hour I get the food I ordered for my son and wouldn't you know it...IT WASN'T EVEN FRESH! I wouldn't have minded waiting for the food even if it was a ridiculously long time but it was the fat girl pestering me to pull forward that got me angry. Again it was not busy and there was no reason to rudely and repetitively tell me to pull forward. There were no cars behind me and the trash can was full and smelly. I will never go to this ghetto restaurant ever again in my lifetime.
