CVS approval for meds

CVS Caremark? You may wish to consider another pharmacy for your long term meds. If you have a condition like cancer, MS etc your meds should not be questioned it the doctor gives a script for a specific med it is to help condition or illness. CVS feels they have a rite to deny a med if its not on their list for treatment. Causing the patient who is relapsed or dealing with an attack to be delayed in the treatment referred by doctor. Patients with MS who have a congnitive brain attack some get relief from low dose ritilin or the generic brand. If the pharmacy has approved it for over 2-3 years in the past when patient needed it. The should not make the person who is ill jump through hoops to get it when they need it again. However, CVS is doing this to MS patients who have relapsed from MS or brain lesion. First they say no at pharmacy until patient gets authorization from doctor. Doctor jumps through hoops gets it in. Patient is still waiting no follow up they call to find out CVS refuses the authorization they asked for. Is not on their treatment list for patients who take the med only children and certain patients. I suggested the find out more about MS attacks the brain as well. If patient been on med for several years. Had previous pescriptions filled over several years with CVS no red tape fill it. Patients are being denied if doctor did not prescribe med previous year. Patient may not have needed it then. Now their is a need and they are making the relapse worse and forcing the patient to take old med from 2008 or older to help. The should be held accountable if condition gets worse.

CVS employment

I've worked for this company for about 4 years and realized its not what you know but who you know. This company laid me off over some [censored].I've read article after article online and noticed that I wasn't the only one.I've noticed managers got fired for not having the proper title in the system for there employees, my title hasn't been right for 2 years. Then I noticed how if you fail 2 audits your fired my ex-manager lost 3 and was missing a good amount of money that he couldn't even explain.I've seen how people got away with stealing items of the floor, cigarettes and even go as far to try to get with minors on the job. They try to keep all of that information on a tight rope but its time to come out for people to see.I've written letter after letter while I was still employed with this company about certain people breaing CVs policy but nothing happened I guess because they have DM and training positions your policy should be for evryone not just certain employees and that how I feel.PROOF I have a lot of it and am very determined to hand this over to the right person so all of this can STOP.

CVS prescription

RPH George Franko refused service to me because computers were down. Doctor faxed over prescription. RHP George Franko required me to drive all the way home to get old bottle of medication and bring back. I used profantity and "fliped him off". I returned to the store after driving all the way home with the family in the car because we were on our way out to dinner, and drove back to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. RPH George Franko threw the empty bottle back at me and said I am no longer a customer at CVS because CVS does not accept customers who use profantiy and I must take my business elsewhere. I asked for my faxed copy of my prescription back. RHP George Franko refused to give it to me saying it was HIS property now.

I asked for the police. He said go ahead. I asked for my prescription once again and he refused and told me to go take my business to another pharmacy. I am now using SAVON on El Camino Real and La Costa Ave in Carlsbad CA. No problems there.

Businesses have the right to refuse service to any patron for whatever reason. Admitting to using profanity and vulgar hand gestures is a sure fire way to get yourself kicked off of their patient list. Tough luck. Next time, try not to be such a dick.

I HATE CVS they are only about the all might dollar, look at their prices in the stores. I am a tried and true Wal-greens customer. I have 2 narcotics called in for me every month and they do not EVER ask for a bottle only verification of who I am and occasionally to see my insurance card. Giving some one a prescription is NOT illegal once again I repeat NOT illegal if it is to the person it is intended for. You did right Susan! that prescription is your property because it was written for you not the pharmacist. I hope you get some satisfaction out of this hole ordeal, good luck.

This state has a pseudoephedrine purchase tracking system. It is set up to only accept certain types of IDs such as driver's licenses, state issued non-driver IDs (from state DMV), and military IDs. Pharmacy workers cannot legally sell any pseudoephedrine containing medication without typing in the number from one of the acceptable ID types. If they did so, they would be considered illegally selling a controlled substance just the same as if they were selling narcotics without a prescription.

There is this horrible girl named Heather who works in the photo department at the Telegraph and Kimball loaction in Vetura, California. She was very rude, bumped into me with out apology adding "watch it" to her list of rudeness, she also clearly said "Oh ###" loud enough for my 5 year old niece to hear which now she repeats.

CVS ruined my aps roll of film

I took a Kodak APS roll of film in to be developed. When I returned to pick up the pictures, I was told that the film could not be processed on their machine. They suggested I take the film to another CVS location, which I did. That CVS photo dept. told me they could not process the roll because someone had cut both ends of the film off. They suggested I go back to the 19th street store to see if they could do something. I did as suggested, and the Manager there told me he had cut the ends of the film off in an effort to see if they could develop the roll; he offerred to tape the ends back on and I could then take it back to the 2nd store and let them process it.

I took the taped film (loose from the APS container) back to the 2nd store and their photo staff couldn't believe what they saw.. They told me the taped ends would not go thru their machine; in fact, they said if they tried it would most likely cause their machine to break down. they stateld that whoever I was dealing with at the 19th street store was, in their estimation, ignorant of APS film processing. At that point they told me the film could not be devleoped, so I left it there.

This had happened to me previously at the same 19th street store. At that time, it was this past Christmas and the ruined roll of fill was one that included our Grandkids opening their presents. The film could not be developed by them and was subsequently tossed out.

The loss of the film, especially the Christmas film, was bad enough, but what struck me as equally distressing was that the 19th street personnel made no effort in either situation to replace the film or do anything else. Needless to say, I will take all my future film processing elsewwhere.

CVS prescription

Linda Clary's doctor, Dr. Richard Allen called the pharmacy mentioned above and left 2 prescriptions for her on July 6, 2010 at 3:30. She was extremely nauseated from other medicine she was taking. Her husband went by the store at 5:10 and the employee there said that nothing had been called in to the store. She called the doctor and luckily he was still in and said that it had been called in at 3:30 PM and left on an answering machine. Her husband was called and told to tell them that it was on the answering machine. He had to wait approximately 45 minutes. The pharmacy called before he arrived at his home to tell him that they left one of them out of the bag. It is approximately 30 min. from the pharmacy to their house.

The pharmacy was called and asked to bring the second prescription to the intersection of I85 and 903 and her sister would meet them so that she could get the medicine as soon as possible. Rather than listen to the reasons that they needed to deliver it, the pharmacist hung up. Not I'm sorry, nothing. This is totally unacceptable.

Wal-Mart will be the pharmacy of choice from now on.

Perhaps the problem isn't CVS or any other drugstore for that matter, it is probably you, After working in retail, for a very long time and especially working in retail pharmaceuticals for over a decade, i can assure you, the problems arise from customers who are impatient, ignorant, conceited and absolutely have a sense they are entitled to everything and everyone worrying about every one of your problems. Let me give you a list of what not to do:

It's a pharmacy, don't go up to the pharmacist to ask them where the nail polish is, we don't know and we don't care, try opening your eyes for once.

Consultation doesn't mean we solve every one of your petty problems such as oh my insurance is charging me blah blah, we don't care about your insurance, we don't know about them and we don't have access to your insurance plans, consultation means ask about a drug, and walk away with the answer.

Stop over analyzing everything and wondering exactly how a drug works, if we started explaining to you how it works, you will not understand, that's why we went to school for 7 years, you didn't. when we give you a jist of how it works, take our word for it.

We do not withhold your prescriptions, when we tell you that we haven't received your prescription yet, call your doctor, don't ask us to call, we're not your servants, we have a few hundred other people just like you to attend to, who also think they're the most important thing on this little planet. When we waste 10 minutes of our time on your one prescription, we're disregarding about 10 other people, so don't feel so self important.

When you have an insurance problem, call your insurance, don't yell at us, it's NOT our fault and quite honestly it doesn't affect us. Explore your options, you can either call for a change of drug, call to get it authorized, give you insurance company an earful, you chose this plan, not us, don't take it out on us.

IF you have medicaid, don't feel entitled to get all brand names just because you want them, you're getting free insurance being paid out of the rest of our pockets, take the medication that is prescribed, and don't be petty about getting it brand name only.

When we call your doctors for a rx renewal, it's a privilege, not a right. You are supposed to call your own doctors and keep track of your own medications, how lazy can you possibly get. Oh, and don't yell at us when your doctor does not respond, speak with your doctor.

And last but not least, remember that we are humans too, we have feelings too, and sometimes, we make mistakes too, if you work in healthcare, you have to be especially careful, but no one is perfect, this is why when you decide to complain about someone else and try to get them fired, remember how the world works, what goes around comes around, so if you wish bad upon someone else, you most certainly will receive the worst of it.

CVS - mistreatment by manager

I don't know where to begin. My entire store is having problems with our manager. She's young: 28 and she tends to condescend to all of us. She overworks our assistant manager while she takes 3-4 days off almost every week. He's lucky if he gets 1 day off. She overworks me by making me do all of her paperwork. When I come back to work after being gone on...

CVS managers uncaring and incapable

Oh, what to say about cvs? Having been a long time customer of cvs caremark corp. I have seen and heard a lot of things, and until recently i've had no complaints.

Store number 448 in haddonfield nj recently rubbed me the wrong way and I will never go to cvs again; me, my family, my friends, not one of them. This particular location has been switching managers more than one changes clothes, but it finally evened out when they got two managers erin and lew. The store was great, always stocked, and whenever there was a problem in the pharmacy they were able to rectify it almost immediately, they were the most caring, and biggest customer service oriented managers i've ever met. However, due to the district manager (Whom i've witnessed sending the manager erin into tears over her outrageous attitude and macho passat) gave them enough trouble they both left.

Recently, a new manager by the name of wayne and his assistant tim stepped in. Since then the store has been absolutely terrible. The shelves are bare empty, checkout candy is non-existent; the parking lot is full of debris and trash. Wooden pallets broken into pieces, floors that look as if they haven't been vacuumed in months, among many other problems.

On a more recent trip I noted they were out of the brand of cigarette I buy daily. After a 2 weeks I gave up looking for another week; the day after their delivery I called up the store to ask if they had gotten them in as I was on my way to work and didn't want to stop if they were still not in. Wayne had answered the phone and told me "sorry, you gotta call back in two hours" I said excuse me can't you just look really quickly for me? To which I got "no ma'am, call back in two hours and our cashier can look for you when she gets in.

I've also seen tim on his cell phone multiple times, as well as using vulgar language on the sales floor. I'm sorry cvs, but the fact that you can hire such incompetent people shows me nothing but the fact that you don't really care about your customers, only the money going into your pocket.

Actually Stealth, if you had ANY idea how retailers work, product is recieved by a central CVS Warehouse, each individual store sends their order out to the centralized warehouse, and the warehouse ships that order to the store. So no, you don't blame the tobacco company. Learn how a retail system works prior to making stupid comments. Also, when did I ever say anything about asking a pharmacist to do my shopping. I asked the STORE MANAGER, so yes Customer Service is his job. Why don't you fully read this before making comments and making yourself sound like a buffoon?

CVS customer service sucks

Yesterday I went to CVS to take a over the counter medicine, I had a quick question with the pharmacist and I was waiting at the consultation counter. Three other assistants of the pharmacist asked for any help at three different times but asked me to wait for the pharmacist, but the pharmacist was looking(acting) so busy looking at the computer and she gave a look at me and again started looking at the computer, I was waiting and waiting and she was least bothered about me and the worst part is she was attending customer phone calls and answering their questions but did not get time to answer the question of the customer who was physically present. So yesterday was the last day ever to that store and that store sucks big time.My advice, dont ever go to that store

Misplaced SSRI meds right before a weekend getaway, and was not aware of it until Friday 16th at 4:30 PM. I called CVS STR# 9721 on Friday to see if I could get a refill or some emergency pills to cover me until Monday 19th when I returned from my trip. The assistant that answered the phone was unhelpful, a bit rude and extreemly selfrighteous. Even though she stated FOUR TIMES that "it's a courtesy if we advance you a few pills" she never did. She kept telling me to call my doctor to request a refill. I explained that it's 4:30 PM on a Friday (Doctor is not going to answer), and that I was leaving for the weekend. The pharmacy assistant said that she sent a message to my doctor for a refill, but I learned on 3/19 that no message was sent. I had to leave on my trip with no meds.

* Full disclosure. I carry a week's worth of my medication with me in a pill box, and I noticed I needed to refill the box for the next week. I was short on time 3/16, so I just grabbed the SSRI bottle and put it in my purse thinking I'll refill my Rx box on my lunch break at work. I missed a dose on 3/14 and took a half dose on 3/15 (because that's all I had in the Rx box)
Needless to say I needed my [censor]ing medication, and not some petty pharmacy assistant acting like she is doing me a favor.

Which brings us to Monday 3/19. I call to see if my Rx is ready for pickup, and I'm told by a different assistant that little miss selfrighteous never sent a message to my doctor requesting a refill. Fantastic!

Message receive CVS! It is a slippery slope when you grant your pharmacy assistants the power to decline your customers medication without discussing it first with an educated, trained pharmacist whom has the capacity to understand medication withdrawal symptoms. Who oversees these assistants?! Who ensures ethical training to the assistants? I'm assuming it's a HIPPA violation to record the incoming phone calls, so again, who oversees the assistants to ensure they are acting in a ethical manner during their work shift?

Cont. Conversation 3/19
The assistant also told me that I just recently filled my lost medication... no [censor]
Then he tells me that my insurance will not cover a refill until May... (I'm sure everyone has had a moment when you heard something so dumb that you brain shuts off for a second, because it's trying to prevent you from retaining such stupidy.)

I actually had to explain to the assistant that even an insurance company has a contingency in the case that one of its customers LOST her SSRI medication. I had to explain what a SSRI is and what it is not! Then he tells me that I will need to make a police report!

[censor] you!

I just got done telling him what a SSRI is, and now he's spouting off the protocol for a lost controlled substance. My medication is not a controlled substance or an narcotic. I even dumbed it down and said that the medication does not make you feel good, doesn't get you high. It should not be treated like Xanax, Ativan or Vicodin. I explained to him that a police department is not going to make a police report because I lost my SSRI. My SSRI is not on the DEA schedule for controlled substances.
It is equivalent to making a police report over lost migraine medication. According to the assistant he was able to get approval from my insurance because he typed in "Lost Medication"

Why wasn't that done to begin with?
Hey CVS, your [censor] staff is requesting your customers to attempt to waste the time of their local police department because of their own incompetence. Train your staff!

I went to pickup my SSRI after work 3/19 about 1140PM. I was finishing up my transaction and conversation with the pharmacist when Mr. Police Report returned from his break. When the assistant returned he started helping another customer at the register next to me. He overheard a part of my conversation with the pharmacist, and invited himself to our conversation after the pharmacist just got done apologizing for the subpar customer service I received.

Hey CVS, your pharmacy assistant started a confrontation in front of other customers. He invited himself into a conversation that had ended, but he wanted to start it back up. He abruptly walked away from a customer that he was in the middle of "helping" to argue with another one. This assistant I have witnessed over this passed year repeadly act unprofessional, even tacky at times. Hes hard to miss. Hes the only ex-millitary, caucasian with a horrid bleached shaggy hair that works in this pharmacy.

The assistant walked over to the register that the pharmacist was using and went shoulder to shoulder, majorly leaning onto the pharmacist which in it self was inappropriate. The assistant had his body pressed up against the pharmacist to the extent that the pharmacist stepped back away from him for his own personal comfort. What Mr. Police Report overheard was me asking the pharmacist if it's protocol to request customers to make a police report for a lost SSRI. The pharmacist made a funny expression, and said no. He said, that a police report would be for a controlled substances, not the SSRI I just paid for. I said, so it is just further bad information I was given by untrained staff.

That is what upset Mr. Police Report, and why he started a confrontation with me in front of everyone. The assistant said, "I had to make a bunch of overrides to get you your prescription." I replied, "okay, and when you decided to type in the words Lost Medication it approved right away." His weak response was, "but I got you your medication" followed by a smug expression. The pharmacist walked away without saying a word.

Again, who oversees the pharmacy assistants to ensure they're ethical and professional? It can't be the store manger, because what do they know about the medical field or the ethical standards set for medical personnel. Not to overlook the laws and regulations surrounding pharmacy and prescriptions. Who ensures the assistants are working within their scope of practice?

My business will go to Walgreens (which is closer) at least I already know they run a tighter ship.

P.S. [censor] You CVS Pharmacy

Received a text from CVS that my son's prescription was ready. So since I was in the neighborhood anyway, I stopped by there to pick it up.There must have been like 8 people working in that pharmacy, but only ONE waiting on customers. Waiting customers were backed up halfway to the front of the store. There were at least half a dozen employees looking at computer screens back there. I waited and waited and waited to get to the counter, and every time it was my turn they would call the name of somebody who was already there waiting for God only knows how long, and I would lose my place.
Finally, I and two other people just walked out. What an absolute joke! My son has to get his prescriptions through CVS because he is on Medicaid, and they made us switch him from Walgreens to CVS or else they wouldn't cover his prescriptions. Talk about some ridiculous managing of resources! Like other people have said on here, the ones looking at computer screens absolutely would not look up!

Well, I found my doctor sent my prescription to the CVS pharmacy out on Shaw and Palm. I had never asked them to send my prescription there. They always sent my prescriptions to the one on Fresno and Shaw but this time apparently it went out to Shaw and Palm.

That CVS closes at 7 so I called and the CVS at Palm and Shaw promised to send my prescriptions back to the CVS on Shaw and Fresno as they should have been. The lady in the pharmacy promised she would have that sent over within five minutes.

On her promise, I returned to the CVS pharmacy on Fresno and Shaw again, and this one is a 24 hour pharmacy. The gentleman at the drive up window said he could see the prescription in the system, but it was still at the other CVS pharmacy. He offered to call the other pharmacy, but there was no answer. I called and there was no answer. He suggested I call my doctor back and get her to resend the prescription to this pharmacy. So, I called and got the exchange for Valley Health Team, and the lady called the doctor on call. Unfortunately, he did not have his computer with him and could not put through the prescription to the correct pharmacy. Another person was shrugging and saying, "There's nothing we can do".

Bull excrement. If a company cannot correct its own mistakes or have any provisions for doing so, I find it hard to think well of that company.
Mistakes are fine. Everyone makes them. And I have to say that most of the people involved from both companies were quite nice. They just did not seem to have any options at their disposal for correcting problems and meeting the needs of their patients.

My brother in law has worked as a CEO of several clinics of various types and is currently a professor teaching others to do likewise. I am almost certain if we mentioned this issue to him he would go through the roof and make things happen. I can be quite pushy, but I don't seem to carry the weight that my brother in law carries. I should take lessons from him. But I get the feeling he would take the bull by the horns and solve my problems for me, and that's not really what I would want. It would be nice for the immediate problem, but I'd rather learn to push these things through and make things happen myself. But whether I'm nice or whether I am a first class grouch, I don't seem to be able to get what's right to happen. Perhaps studying my law school materials or going to law school would help, but I am not even sure of that.

I had my doctor forward my prescriptions for my heart meds to CVS, and initially I was happy to be able to pick them up at a drive-through.
However, and it is a BIG however, I went to the doctor today who, after testing me, found I had an overactive thyroid and diabetes, and she had my prescriptions sent to the CVS here in Fresno at Fresno and Shaw at my request.

My phone alerted me that the prescriptions had been filled and I could pick them up.
So, I went and there were three or four cars ahead of me. The time it took for the first car to be processed was more than I would have expected for all of us. Same with the second car and so on until I arrived at the window perhaps twenty or thirty minutes later. There were no prescriptions for me. I insisted I was notified by their system, and when I pulled up the messages on my phone, I noticed a different CVS address, I asked if she could check and she said I would have to leave the line and call them at the other location myself.

I tried. I was left on hold seemingly forever and the phone was almost out of charge. I called back and was asked if I could hold and I said the phone was out of a charge and she said there were two ahead of me and hung up. Livid, I went into the store and the line was backed up inside and going as slow as molasses so I stomped out and must not have looked very happy, though the person at the counter near the exit told me to have a good day almost apologetically.

Nice experience. not.

I just had a bad experience with CVS that met with a great experience when I addressed it with the store manager. IMHO Great customer service is not about doing everything right all the time but quickly righting poor customer service in a prompt and courteous fashion. Always make sure to give your feedback to management. It should never have to be this way, I understand, but it helps to give feedback and is just the right thing to do. If we were all perfect there would never be a customer service problem. Fact is that we are not all perfect and oddly enough none of us knows what's happening in the day of that person that didn't give us the best customer service. Kindness and tolerance of others will never get you a bad report card "upstairs."

I've had bad experiences with CVS customer service as well. I was waiting to drop off my prescription at the drop off window, which takes literally 5 seconds, there were two people in the back working, one at the computer within 5 feet of me, and no other customers. I made eye contact with at least two of them, so they were aware that I was waiting, but they did not even acknowledge my presence. I wouldn't have minded if they had said "we will be with you in a minute" or something along those lines. After 3-4 minutes of standing I just left. Headed off to Walgreens. I was helped immediately. The prices might be higher at Walgreens but I'd pay whatever it takes to knock CVS down from their throne. I will never go there again.

Unfortunately only the pharmacist can answer any questions you have, technicians can't even tell you to take tylenol for headaches because of state and federal laws. I would suggest you complain to the pharmacy supervisor since that is part of the pharmacists job is to give consultation when needed. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

CVS they are both awful to work with and will not use them again after the year is up

I just finish talking to Health Net and CVS Caremark about billing problems (Many, many, many times over and over) This call took 59 minutes and 47 seconds and still no result. They promise to call me back later. When I complaint about overcharges they tell me to call Health Net, when I call Health Net, they tell me to call CVS Caremark, nut Caremark will not call Health Net to tell them what the problem is. They are BOTH awful to work with and will not use them again after the year is up. I had unresolved issue about the same medicine in 2009 that I had to go all the way to Maximus Federal Services to finally get a refund (which I have not yet received).

CVS being falsely accused by loss prevention!!

So i've been employed with CVS as a photo technician since sept of 2007. Never had any complaints..no serious customer issues...established a great relationship with my customers and have even been told by several corporate employees that i was one of the best employees that store ever had. So i go into work on Monday 6/14 and get called into the office by my store manager and when i go in there the new loss prevention guy is there. Im thinking he just wants to meet with all of the employees in our store because he was new. Boy was i wrong! He pulls out an empty lip gloss package and tells me that they have me on video removing the lip gloss from the package..concealing the lip gloss and throwing the package down the aisle. (this supposedly happened on 6/9). So my first reaction was i laughed..and i then asked them if this was some kind of joke or training excercise of some sort...i repeatedly asked him if he was really serious. He assured me that he was. I then proceeded to tell him that i did NOT take anything from this store. Especially lip gloss. He then clarified that he had seen it on video with his own two eyes. I then requested to to see this 'supposed' video IMMEDIATELY! because this is complete and utter b.s. He kept telling me that "it didn't work like that"...and then asked me if i was "comprehending" what he was saying to me. I asked him if he was comprehending the fact that i want to see this video..not now but RIGHT NOW!I was really beginning to get highly upset and demanding to see this imaginary video! I started to raise my voice and began to cry because the frustration of this situation was taking its toll on me. It was like i was yelling at the top of my lungs and no one even bothered to look up. So he told me what he'd do for me is talk to our district manager to investigate this further.. i said ok whatever...then i asked him..since i supposedly stole this lip gloss where did i conceal it? He said "I dont know". Im like this has to be some kind of joke. Then he made sure to tell me that i was not being written up...not being suspended..not being terminated..and that i should go in the back..gain my composure and go to work and let this blow over. Im like WtF? You're accusing me of stealing and yet you want me to go back to work like nothing happened. If im stealing why would the store put their assets at risk? It makes no sense! If they have me on video...why was i not terminated? I know why..because i DIDNT TAKE ANYTHING! So my store manager asked me to get myself together. I told her no...im going home and i then left...about 45 mins after i got home i got a call from my store manager asking me why i reacted the way that i did and that...(get this you guys) "I WASN'T BEING ACCUSED OF ANYTHING" . Oh so youre telling me that i was in the office for close to 45 mins being told that i stole lipgloss when i know i didnt? But i wasn't being accused of anything? Come on! what kind of game is this? So they have been calling my phone several times a day asking me when im coming back into work...if i would like them to put me on the sched for next week. I haven't responded to anyone. I called human resources and requested a leave of absence until this situation is resolved and i receive and apology from my manager...loss prevention...and the district manager. i also filed a report with the CVS ethics line because this is just wrong. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before...and nothing about this situation makes any sense. Im hurt by being falsely accused...no matter how small the item was.. im being accused of doing something that is completely out of my character...now THAT hurts...any advice?

Well, being we are all humans...you must admit- we are an imperfect species, wrought w/shortcomings & ailments that are simply out of our control, understand?! To think/believe anything different is the 1st sign of a genuine problem. Furthermore- to immediately place blame on any/all others around you, can be some kind of a last resort attempts at a desperate self preservation technique.. Let it go. Really. Just surrender to your sins... Admission of your powerlessness is 1st of many, many steps ahead...got it?!

People are ao afraid of failing, &/or disappointing- that nothing is out of realm of plausibility- in terms of confusion, denial, etc. Certainly you admit, there's a very real chance (&LIKELIHOOD) you inadvertently slipped the merchandize in a pocket, purse, Apron, smock, wallet, etc and merely "forgot" about it soon after. Anybody can have a momentary lapse in recollection. A subtle & minor blackout is not out of the question. Our pride can be our worst enemy-making admission so impossible. Never fear the TRUTH! Only face your SIN, OR ELSE we do po ourselves the biggest disservice ever! As in your case, evidently.. You put job, reputation, livelihood all at huge risk...and for what? Just a momentary lapse in judgment? So not worthy! It's a very slippery slope, and the outcome, is generally never good for the person who convinced self of this split second idea of becoming invincible. You must drop this notion of controlling all thibgs around you! We have no control, thinking any different will surely rot your spirit! We know you understand, we know you can see & feel, so wake the hell up CHILD, & ressurect! B4 your chance eludes your grasp! Time for a priest. Or a lawyer, perhaps.. Definitely should get a shrink, ASAP. .while you still have some slivered semblance of reality. It's never too late to begin the rebirth... That is, unless of course- as in your case... IT IS JUST TOO DAMN LATE, period. Ask for saving! Look for guidance! Pray for swift & pain free demise...as you face impending doom. Just plan for a better shot in the next life...if you're lucky enough to be granted another go at it. Meditate, & liberate your Soul... Or darkness shall forever shroud your life's inner-light! Humble yourself now, or forever be damned. It very well might be too far beyond your desperate, groveling reach.

My Name is: H. Maurice. On 7/19/2021; Appx 09:00 pm, I walked into the CVS store on 14st 4ave to get something to drink, walk to the beverage cooler opened the cooler for some reason or another I didn't get anything. I turned around, started walking toward the front of the store, suddenly I felt someone rushing beside me, followed by a voice saying; let me see what you have under your shirt, I looked besides me , it was a lady police officer, I automatically froze, in a hurry I lifted up my shirt of course there was nothing there, I wasn't surprise because I never had a stealing problem or History, instantly there was that of embarrassing, shameful, lesser than feelings rushing on me the list goes on. I went outside, just so I could exhale & start breathing correctly again. I went back inside the store to bring it to Cvs store staff. I made them aware of the incident. I also got the Name of the store manager on duty that I got. I though I could put this behind me, well its harder to be said than done. I frequently go to that area, guess what? Once I'm ready to pass that store my feet actually clam up on me. & besides; I must be very careful not to enter that store intentionally or by accident ever again, because that's a feeling I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, & because the are a couple drug stores within that block. I need to put closure to this incident; for one to rest a little more in peace within my self & hoping another Black man would have to go through that. Put it this way if I was in fact a thief, oh boy consequences as a black man? You already know what time it is on that fact. I Hope to hear back from someone will be appreciated.

I think this is a super old thread but if it is not then you need to contact a lawyer. Cvs has a long history of “cold interviews “ they call them meaning they have absolutely no evidence of anything but they pull you into the office saying they have you on camera and see if you crack ! That way they can reach their numbers there trying to reach!

I went to the CVS in Quincy MA(Beale Street) yesterday to pick up three prescriptions...the same ones I pick up every month. The clerk informed me that the co-pay on one was very high, when he showed it to me it was $103.99 almost $100 more then I usually pay. He eventually explained that it needed to have prior approval. When I asked why I wasn't notified BEFORE it was refilled he went and asked the pharmacist who said "sorry, I should have been called". I said it was a good think I had the money to pay for it since I need my medicine. I also said I would call the corporate office to which the clerk did not respond, nor did he speak to me for the rest of the transaction not even thank you. When I was putting my medications away today I found that one looked different then previous months, I called the pharmacy and was told they had change distributors. I said should you have noted a change, the clerk stated, "there is suppose to be a sticker on there" I told him there was none, he then repeated it twice more..finally I said "you can say it as many times as you would like, but there is no sticker". He then put me on hold and never came back. I'm switching my prescriptions to either Walgreen's or Rite-aide anywhere but CVS...

I have a medical plan through Aetna. Caremark CVS fills my prescription. I have had this insurance for over two years, however, this is the first year I have been charged over $1, 600 for 2 medications. I was told I had to pay a $2, 700 deductible before I could get a discount on this prescription. I was told by CVS that Caremark was an insurance company and that they were the ones who decided the price I pay for my medications. The two medications are Novolog and Levimir. When speaking with Caremark I was told that the prices for these prescriptions included a 3 month supply and that they could not be supplied on a monthly basics. I am going to file a complaint against CVS and Caremark. I would like to talk to a representative of both companies as to why these medications are so much higher this year than last year. I am going to do some research on my own but feel that the cost for these medications are outrageous.

Today would be the third time that CVS has changed my medication with out authorization. I find it very unethical to make a change to my prescriptions with my consent. Even if my doctor did not check the " do not substitute" box. Did they ever think that maybe the patient doesn't want their medication changed? No, they just assume we will not notice because we are not educated on the difference between generic and branded medications. Major retailers like CVS make more of a profit off generics than branded agents. No wonder they are always trying to switch our medications or insurance companies do not "cover" your medications. Again, I find this unethical and ridiculous to not confirm switches with patients.

I paid my deductable in January with united health care. Cvs caremark has stated several times that I have not met my deductable, but I called UHC with cvs caremark on the line about 10 times now! For them to state that the deductale wad met in January! Yet caremark still made me pay full price for my 2 subscriptions! And refuse to fix the issue. And they keep telling me to contact UHC! my health care company! Why in the world is this my responsibility to correct there mistake? Plus I have done what they requested and they have been told there is an error! I feel like the only option I have is to pay full price for the medications and then I will never be refunded for it! Not to mention every time I called them it was a different story! I just kept getting different answers every time I called! Tiredof dealing with them! But I have no choice! J paid full price for one prescription already and I do not want to shell out more of my hard earned money for there mistake!

I visited your Pharmacy located in Wildwood, NJ and submitted my prescription for Viagra. The pharmacist informed me in public with loud voice that my insurance only approves Levitra because Viagra is a "pleasure drug for recreation". It seems that she is unprofessional with her communication skills as well as ignorant by not recognizing that this drug is indicated for Erectile Dysfunction. Please educate and train your professional staff appropriately as well as training them on the repercusion of the HIPAA law violations.

I have been a customer of CVS regularly for the past two years - i shop there about every two weeks. But no more after the way i was treated tonight at this CVS. I was a victim of identity threat last week - someone broke into my workplace and stole the finance persons computer. So i had to change my bank account. I have new cheques but they dont have my name typed on them yet. I asked before i went around the store to grab some things if it would be ok to pay with a cheque. I had ID - a drivers license, and my cvs card which i have used regularly. I went through the whole process and had my shopping in a bag and then it turns out that actually since i had to write my name into the address part of the cheque that they couldnt accept it. It was very embarrassing and i felt from their reaction - the clerk and the manager who came quickly around the corner and who pretty much ignored anything i said - i felt like i was passing a forged cheque, or was doing something illegal as indicated by their reaction. I contrast this with my experience at Trader Joes - where they never ever treat you like a criminal - it seems a funny form of customer service and helps me decide not to shop there again and to share this experience with everyone i know.

This store used to be very nice, but I will not step my foot into that store again! It was disgustingly trashy outside when I drove up recently. As the doors were to slide open to enter the store, the rubber stripping from the door was swaying in the wind (for at least 2 weeks) and was hitting the customers in their faces as they walked through. When I got into the store, I was shocked at how dirty and messy the store looked. I walked through the store to the pharmacy area, stepping over merchandise just thrown all over the floor. When I got to the over the counter medicine shelves, I was so disappointed that the shelves looked so bare. Not only was my specific item not there, there was no substitute for me to buy. The CVS in Franconia, Pa., which is not even a mile away, is exactly the opposit. Always supplied, cleanand orderly. There employees are also very personable, nothing like the personell at the Souderton store who don't even acknowledge you as a customer. Bad management! I will be going to the Rite Aikd across the street from now on, since it is closer to my home than the CVs in Franconia. CVS has just a loyal customer!

CVS deceptive business practice

I feel like i have been recently cheated by CVS Caremark.
I had ordered a 90 day refill for a allergy medication - XYZAL - as a mail order for my wife. As she had side effects from Allegra and OTC medications we had to order prescription medicine.
I received the medication on 04/06/2010 and then got a invoice on 05/25/2010 for 200$. On calling CVS Caremark I was informed that XYZal is no longer a preferred medicine by Insurance so I have to pay 200$. I asked CVS why did someone not call me to inform me that the medicine is not a preferred medicine and secondly why didnt the invoice was sent after 2 months and not along with the medicine. I was told that CVS will notify the customer only if the order exceeds 250$. I was told by CVS to return the medicine, but as they send me the invoice after 50 days i have already consumed more than half of the medicine. CVS says they cannot do anything about it and i have to pay the 200$.

Regards
Rajeev Prabhakar

CVS city noise oridnance violation

The cvs store on 119 lincoln avenue in venice moved to that location in october 2008, after a wholefoods market took over it's old location.
L. a. city has a noise ordinance that prohibits deliveries between 10pm & 7am, which still allows 15h of deliveries & noise making for the store, and only 9h of peace for the neighborhood. but, as all big gready corporations, cvs decided that it was not enough time for them, and started making night deliveries at 3am 3 times per week.
very nice when you live accross the street from them. did I mention? the store is within 200feets of houses.
I went to talk to the manager to explain that it was a lot of noise and to ask him to stop, and his answer was that "if he has deliveries during the legal hours it will block his parking, so it is no".
Our lead officer than went to talk to him, and the deliveries stopped at night until a few months ago, when the manager decided that it was enough again and now the truck is coming after 10pm and the truck driver is so smart, that he even honks happily at 11h30 or so, when he is leaving the parking...
I'm curious to know if other neighbours of cvs stores are submitted to the same harrassement...
Here is a perfect example of another big corporation who thinks they can brake the laws because they have money. aren't tired of that?

This is an extremely valid complaint, but you're placing the blame with the wrong person. You need to go directly to the district manager who is in control of the truck schedule. The manager has no control over when the trucks arrive.

I would just keep calling the cops and reminding them about the noise ordinance. In theory, the store would get citations after they disobey officers' orders.

CVS caremark is scamming consumers and their false advertising needs to stop

Caremark.com has the price you think you will be paying for mailorder rx.on their website(you go into their website, put the drug name in and the cost will come up) When you actually send in for the RX, they charged 3x's more than what was on their site upon delivery. They said the price can change at any time, that was their explanation. How many consumers did they do this to? How many consumers need their meds, so they just pay the extra? Caremark is scamming consumers and their false advertising needs to stop. Their customer service reps are rude!

CVS poor service

I'm very upset about the quality of care I received just today at the Pharmcay at your Rego Park Store.

I consulted with a pharmacy tech regarding a prescription for an antibiotic medication for my 4 year old son who had just completed surgery that same day. I asked her whether they had the medication and she said they did. The prescription was then given to the pharmacist to fill. I informed them that my son just finished surgery and that I would wait for the medication. They took over an hour and still did not call my name. Meanwhile the pharmacy took care of anyone else that came. I was standing right in front of the counter. I voiced out my frustration and only then did the pharmacist - Mariya Ibragimova, took my prescription cards. And after the medication was approved, she then told me they did not have the medication.

I am very upset because I made sure I asked beforehand whether they had the medication, that I made sure to let them know that I would wait for the medication because of my son's predicament, and I made sure I was fully visible to the pharmacy staff as I waited. AND STILL I WAS UNABLE TO GET THE MEDICATION.

I asked for her name and she wrote down her first name. What good is her first name to me? I had to ask for her last name. And she did not show me her ID.

I am very upset because my son was waiting at home after surgery, in pain, and they just did not care.

Mariya I. is simply a girl that lacks brain cells; she can't even do basic math. Don't waste your time talking to that degenerate-not only will she screw up your prescription, her careless attitude and "fix it yourself" approach will be what really pisses you off. She looks like trash, too.

My complaint concerns the pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions for pain medications filled at this CVS for 8 years now. And for the the last 2 years I have been getting only what I can call harassment from 1 female pharmacist there. At this point I will leave her name out of this, though I can bet that the other employees in the pharmacy will know immediately who I am speaking of. Since almost all of my scripts are for C-2 drugs, the pharmacists must ensure that they comply with all state regulations concerning the filling of these scripts. I understand this especially since both my daughter & son-in-law are both registered pharmacists in NY. My problem here is this...I bring my scripts in to be filled right at the 48 hour mark before I run out of meds. I do this because my scripts are for large amounts of C2 medications and just in case they do not have enough in stock to fill it, they still have a day to order it and get it in before I run out of meds. I understand that the pharmacist can fill the script up to 7 days prior to the 30 day mark (when I will run out of meds). Though I have never asked them to do this for me, the one female pharmacist there, if she gets my script, it does not seem to matter to her if it's the 29th day or the 28th day since the last time the script was filled, she will put the script aside with the note..."too early to fill". When I come to pick it up I have to speak to the pharmacy manager who fills it immediately for me. Everyone in this pharmacy treats me wonderfully. I am always greeted with "hello Mr Charbonneau, how are you today" or some other respectful greeting from the other pharmacists, pharmacist technicians right down to the other pharmacy personnel. Everyone of them has always gone out of their way to help me. They all know I am 100 % disabled and it is very difficult for me to have to walk into the pharmacy. It is too difficult for me to get my electric wheelchair out of the van just to go inside to the pharmacy counter. I finally decided to write to someone at CVS because it is getting much too difficult and PAINFUL to have to keep coming inside to get my scripts straightened out. I beleive this problem I keep having with this one pharmacist stems from a compound prescription for my granddaughter that I was getting refilled. At this time the CVS store here in Latham NY was a "24 hour" CVS. I always took my scripts in to be filled after midnight as I was usually awake and it was so much easier to fill them at that time, plus I also got to know the night shift pharmacists. When my granddaughter was born, she was a "special needs baby" and required one of her medications to be a compound of Prevacid so it could be administered through her feeding tube. Knowing that this particular prescription should be done at a "compounding pharmacy", I asked one of the night pharamacists, (Jerry Solomon) if he could compound it for me. It was a simple compound requiring some 15 to 20 minutes of his time. He told me he could do it usually after 2AM . It always worked out great until the store changed from a 24 hour store to an 18 hour store. So while my daughter was working out getting the script filled at different pharmacy that was able to compound scripts I asked the day pharmacist at this CVS if they could make just one more compound for me. After all, I was a regular customer. The young lady said okay, but it would take her a while to make it up. That was fine with me and I was grateful. But when I picked it up I immediately noticed that there was too much medication here. It should have been a 4 ounce bottle but what I received was a 12 ounce bottle and I could tell by the color that the mix was inccorrect. When I informed the pharmacist of this she acted as if I had insulted her and questioned her professional competence. She grabbed the bag with the bottle in it and said she would do the compound again but it would take at least 6 to 8 hours. I needed the medication right now for the baby as we did not have another dose left for her. But the pharmacist acted as if I put her professional compentcy into question, which I certainly did not do. I simply asked her to check this compound again because it did not seem to be the same as the last one (the volumn was twice as much). She ended up giving it to another pharmacist to fill and that took another 4 hours. I knew that they were not a 24 hour pharmacy anymore and that they did not have the personnel or the time to do compounding. I just asked if they could do it one more time and that we were making arrangements to have another compounding pharmacy do it (Price Shopper as a matter of fact). Well, ever since that incident I have had nothing but grief whenever I present a script to be filled when she is there. I am writing now because it happened again today with a script that was right on time to be filled, but she said it was too early to be filled. Once again I hobbled into the pharmacy, spoke with the pharmacy manager who said "there is no problem Mr Charbonneau" and had it filled in 10 minutes.

Could someone speak with this pharmacist about what has happened to me. I cannot be the only one she has been giving a hard time to. I must also say that the rest of the pharmacy staff are first rate people who obviously like their job and get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping people with their medications.

Thank you and I just hope that someone actually reads this and talks to me about it.

Pharmacist is very rude. I asked for a refund on my prescription. He insisted that I am picking up the remainder of a partial fill. He claims I did not pay any cost on the initial pickup 3 days earlier. I told him I will go get the receipt and show him. Yet he calls me back to the pharmacy as I leave the store insisting I didnt pay and didn't give me my refund!

CVS keeps their staffing very low and under extreme pressure, I know because I worked there. You cannot operate a business, especially a pharmacy under such conditions. The customers pay the price in exactly the way you did. The person who you gave your prescription to assumed they had it, then the prescription was processed, as the staff had to deal with answering the phone and juggling other problems at the same time. It is CVS's fault for operating poorly understaffed, it creates too much pressure for the employees. The customers suffer. The employees suffer as well. It's called Fast Food Pharmacy, and it should be illegal ! You did everything you could to get the medication that your son needed as soon as possible, the staff was not capable of handling the situation because they are understaffed and overworked. No one will get the proper service under those conditions. Corporate greed drives CVS to cut staff and place great demands on their employees. I am so happy not to be working for that company any longer, and I will not shop in their stores.

CVS item not dispensed

My children were prescribed each by their pcp, to have inhalers plus a spacer. When I opened packaging at home, received the inhalers: but no spacers/aerochambers.
Called pharmacy. Was dispensed by "peter", but spoke to someone else. I was told that aerochambers were dispensed, but I am telling them that I never received them. They in turn told me that they cannot do anything about it, and that I can buy one for 70.00$. My insurance company was billed for it, I never got it, cvs got the money for it, and now my kids are without it for another 5 months as my insurance will not pay for another set till 6 months have passed. Had to buy them myself. What crooks! Careless me though, next time I will open their stapled bag in front of them, inspect it in front of them, and not ever believe them when they tell me I am "all set".

These are both terrible responses. Spacers should be used by everyone (teens have bad technique too) and BY LAW you are to get what is billed to the insurance. Fight it with corporate and you will get what you want (too late now of course since it's beenmonths). On the other hand, this is probably a bogus complaint because no pharmacist worth his licence would refuse to give the spacers unless he/she was 100 percent sure they were in the bag.

How old are your children? The spacers are for kids too young to coordinate their breathing with just the inhaler alone.

Regardless, I would call your insurance and tell them what's up and that CVS is trying to screw you. Follow that phone call up with a call to CVS headquarters. [protected]

Security checks take place every time an employee leaves the building. Clock out for lunch (30 minutes) and have to go find someone to go through your belongings prior to going out. Even if there is someone immediately available to do the security check, the 30 minute lunch break is shortened by at least 5 minutes. CVS robs the employees of their personal time.

CVS pharmacy

Im sick and tired of these individuals at this cvs specifically. . . Every time that i go there,. And i kindly wait 3 hours before picking up a prescription. . When i get there, its still not ready,
They either had a 3 hour power outage, or short staff
So therefore it means that my children have to wait and not take there medication because of there shortage in staff or some made up power outage. Mind you i live around the corner and i never get a power outage, dont they have generators.

You go and then the 2nd time i called prior to going and they told me to give them 2 hours before i picked up prescription
So i waited 3 hours. I go and they tell me a power outage since 3 hours ago. You ask them how long, they tell you another hour while rolling there eyes at you.

Mind you this is a 24 hour pharmacy. And now they posted that they will no longer be a 24 hour pharmacy they will close at 10pm. . Great time for me to start transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

Such a shame and disgrace in this name. They truly suck!
