CRA Collections Medical Bill

CRA has listed a collection for account HSH0015211331 in the amount of 184.00. This amount was setled years ago by my insurance company. I conacted Holy Spirit Hospital billing(I work There) as well as Ms. Amy at CRA and was informed this was in fact payed and actually should have never made it to collections. Ms. Amy at CRA told me she informed Experian last summer about the satisfaction of this account.

I had an outstanding balance of $75 with Christiana Hospital which was paid in September 2014. CRA is still carrying this on my Credit Report and I would like it taken off. The payment is more than four months old.

CRA Collections phone call

Mr. Shapiro called me asking if I remembered details of a phone call I had with one of his associates 10 days ago. I explained to him that I was not sure. I explained to him that my brother recently passed away and I did not know if I remembered or not. As we continued our conversation I began to recall details of the phone call with his associate. He stopped me when I told him that I did recall the conversation and told me that I was a liar because I initially told him that I did not recall the conversation. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He told me that he was the collections coordinator and refused my request. He also told me that three people had told him the same thing. My brother passed away on 03/11/11. I am having a lot of trouble with the greiving process and have been trying to catch up on all aspects of my life. I am in grief counseling. Mr. Shapiro was not only heartless, he was rude and disrespectful. People like him do nothing for the collection companies except piss people off and they end up hanging up with nothing resolved as I did. I am sure I will be suffering consequences for this incident because I did hang up. If he had not called me a liar, things might have ended differently. Had he had a little compassion...etc.

CRA Collections continued calling wrong number/person

CRA calls continuously asking for a Phyllis Evert (or something like that). When we speak with someone from this agency they are extremely rude and even though we tell them this is obviously the wrong number and to discontinue calling us they continue. I have tried calling them and when I do speak with someone they hang up on me when I try to explain that this is the wrong number. I am frustrated and want it to stop and it seems there is very little recourse. I left a message with my congressman this morning to ask for his help as this practice should be illegal (probably is already). The number I am given when I dial *69 is [protected] but I don't get anywhere. Please call your congress person if you are also experiencing the same issues so that our voices can be heard.

My friend, I went through this too, several yearsa go. Nothing worked but time.

I disciplined myself to screen all calls through the Caller ID feature on my phone, posting the agency number next to phone so I would recognize their incoming call. I did not pick up the phone until I was sure of the caller. It took a long time but "they" did stop. I have not had a call from a collection agency for over two years now.

I believe the reason for this demonic persistance is that they are convinced all people are liars. Probably some are lying so they do not have to pay up their debts. It does make life miserable for those of us who are not slackers with our debt.

CRA Collections annoying and rude phone calls

My name is Ruth Nielsen, and my phone # in Co. is [protected].
For over a year now, we have been receiving calls from a collection agency, asking for a "Susanne Moore". There is no one by that name in our life. I have called the number on their messages, every time. I've talked to several operators, and they all tell me my number is nowhere in their system. Each time, I ask them to correct the problem. The calls come in several times a week, and at all hours! It hasn't stopped. This morning at 8:15, another message. The woman making the call identified the company name, CRA, and herself as Willa Mason, and left the above callback number.
I called the number back immediately. A man answered, and I told him about the troublesome calls. Not finding my number in the system, he denied my claims, saying it must've been forwarded. He asked me for my cell #, and I refused. "Do you want me to help you or not?" he yelled. I began again to explain. He interrupted, told me to "shut up!", and then hung up on me!
I don't know where they are, or even if they're calling from out of state.
I reported them to the FCC. I hope this helps get them prosecuted.

CRA Collections Rude and annoying phones calls

CRA Collections is the worst company I have ever dealt with. First of all they are terrible at their job! If you work for a collection agency and are trying to track down debtors, you'd think you would actually call the RIGHT NUMBER. I know, it's a lot to ask but...seriously! I kept getting messages fromn this company telling this lady that "she needs to contact them asap. You don't realize the gravity of this situation." Over and over. Finally, I called them back to let them know they were calling the wrong number. I have never heard of this person. So, I get a hold of them and this gentleman answers the phone and is rude as can be from the get-go. He asked how he could help me. I said that I wanted to let them know that they had the wrong number. He said and I quote, "It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Ms. Mar*** doesn't live there." I said, "What did you just say to me?" He repeats himself and then says "Well, do you know where she is?" Complete attitude and lack of customer service. I said, "I don't even know who she is. Please stop calling here." He then hung up.

Lol apparently wolfgang4999 isnt fluent in English. If Hogwarts Student Zachary worked for them he would say In our defense, not in their defense. The wolfgang instead of harassing you ten years later, ten years ago they should have taken you to court and have you charged.

same thing happened to me this past 2 weeks. the calls were from CRA, same phone number in VA. [protected] and the toll free number is [protected] and his name is Daniel Wade! should should hear the way they talked to me and threatened me! over a payday loan 10 years old! the statue of limitations or time -barred debt is 6 years in Tennessee! go figure. what can we do or who can we report them too?

That is the same company. Dont confirm any information with them. If I were you I would just not answer or just hang up on them. I read a while back that they took over $2000 from someones account.

I am wondering if this is the same company that called me... does anyone know what CRA stands for? My phone call was rec'v out of VA with an area code of 757... the 800 # they gave me was [protected], spoke to a woman named Tracy... help!

I have been receiving the same calls and the guy states that they have called me 18 times...(then why are you still calling if I am not responding). I never give my information to these types of people. They never want to give you proof in writing because they have no proof. They think everyone is stupid enough to give them their information so they can steal they few pennies you have left in your account. NOT

I RECEIVED ABOUT 8 CALLS A DAY FOR 2 MONTHS, I HAVE NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE EVER. SO I CHECK MY BANK TODAY, AND THEY ACTUALLY MADE UP A FAKE CHECK WITH MY INFO, AND WITHDREW MONEY FROM MY CHECKING ACC. WITHOUT ANY PERMISSION, AND WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. WTF !
