Costco poor management team

As a Costco customer when I come into the store to shop and I sample the demos I expect product availability. For the last two weekends when shopping at store 390 in Michigan the demo products are not adequately stocked for demo personnel. Management shows no sense of urgency in looking for the product availability or any attempt to retrieve from freezer or wherever it being stored. When Kenny was the store manger the shelves where properly stocked and maintained, since his new assignment the current managers don't have a clue or any guidance on how to run the store. The response I received this past weekend was I don't know where the product is? Replace all the mangers and start fresh.

Costco Surrey British Columbia

The Membership Renewal team seems to beg me to opt for the Executive membership. When I asked them to downgrade to the $55 they started to behave so inappropriately that I had no choice other than to call the police.
If the employees have got rights so do the customers. This beggars should be kicked out.

Costco discriminatory remark by employee

I was involved in a car accident at the street inside the compound leading to the gas station of the establishment. During the exchange of words and information with the driver who is apparently an employee also of Costco, this woman came from nowhere who directly pointed out that she saw everything and it was my fault (the other car was coming out from the parking area who squeezed her car on my right side and I was at a two-way single lane street of the compound). I reminded her that she is not a party to the incident and has no business to accuse me and that if she intend to be a witness, she can only talk when called upon during a deliberation of the matter. To this, she shouted at me with a pointing finger saying "you don't know me and whom do you think they will believe, a WHITE person like me or an ASIAN like" to which I answered back " are you a racist and discriminating because I am Asian (I am actually Filipino-American). She said she is not discriminating at the she is only telling me who is more credible between the two of us. Too said that there are still a lot of white people who still could not recognize the fact that the U.S. is a composition of multi-racial and multi-cultural population which makes this nation great. This racist woman, when prompted, said her name as Mylene Monroe. I could tell that she is an employee of Costco because when the person wearing a Costco ID who is mediating between me and the driver Vivian Corrales (I guess an employee also of Costco, instructed her to go back to work, this racist employee, Mylen Monroe answered "no I am off already".

Costco attendants

At 10:30 at your #271220 Costco 1018, 3836 Richmond Avenue, Houston, TX,
there were lines of minimum 3 cars each waiting to fuel their vehicle

At 10:57, I filled my car, but did not receive any receipt. I could not locate any attendant. I looked at the rear small building 20 yards away, and saw two men enjoying themselves talking. I call out that I needed help.

When the attendant came over, I told him that I could not get a receipt. He opened the machine, and there were at least 12 receipts jammed up in the machine. He took out the last one and gave it to me.

Obviously, the people ahead of me did not get a receipt, could not find anyone to help them and drove off without their receipts. You hire men to work and not to chat. I reported the incident, but since all employees are good friends, I'm sure nothing was reported.

Costco gas

I live in Southern Oregon and drive 25 miles North to the Roseburg Or. Costco store. By the way, it is far north of Roseburg. I am a member and mostly buy gas for my cars there. The last few weeks I drive all the way to Costco to get gas only to find that it is selling for the same price or more as my local small town stations. On the way I drive through another small town and see their price is lower than Costco also. Now what is the use of paying 55 bucks a year membership fees to buy wholesale and find that their gas price is no lower than the local retail stations? Not to mention the 50 mile round trip it takes to get there and back. That to me just does not make it look like they are passing any savings onto their members. They want their dues but don't pass their buying power onto their customers. I will from now on just buy at my local stations and give them my business. All of you out there that find Costco just a penny or two under the local stations should do the same and just maybe Costco Wholesale would actually sell us gas at a real Wholesale price or we can let it go stale in their tanks..

Costco rude employee

As I was walking through a Costco in Maplewood, Minnesota, on 2/6/16, I saw samples for something called "Eco drinks" or something like that. I had seen other employees give out that kind of drink sample to other families ( so pretty much people of all ages), so then I went and helped myself to a sample. The man who was handing out the samples asked me if I took vitamins, so I told him I took gummy multivitamins. Then that's when things went little downhill. He sharply accused me of lying and said gummy vitamins are only for little children. I politely said that they were in fact adult gummy multivitamins. He then asked me how old I was, and I told him my real age. (which I will not disclose online), and then that's when the employee decided to say "All right, I KNOW you're lying now! You're not (the age I told him I was) Show me you I.D., show it to me RIGHT NOW!" At this point a small crowd of 8-10 people had accumulated around me. I asked what I did wrong, then he screamed that I lied to him about taking multivitamins, and again roared in my face to show him my I.D. I refused, because he wouldn't tell me why he wanted to see my I.D. I never did anything wrong, so I wasn't going to indulge my information to this crazed employee. Besides, it's not like the drinks were for a specific age group; after all, I'd seen these drinks get handed out to many families. Promptly afterwords, I said that I didn't know what I did wrong, and that I didn't want to start a fight, so I apologized for whatever I did wrong. With a defeated look, I promptly left the store in a furious state.

Costco messed up my online travel order (loss of $966)

I made my reservations with Costco travel on Jan 4 2016 for Cruise on NCL from Los Angelese for 7 days. Costco Travel has promotion of free package that I can add to booking (ultimate beverage package) during booking at no cost worth $966). As per their booking department I declined to receive free stuff for $966 and they cant do anything about it. The booking usually doesn't show this on invoice as it is additional stuff. They confirmed that promotion was there at time of my booking . But on Jan 25 they are saying there is nothing they can do as at booking I may have not selected to get it (why would I do that ? and when I am telling them this is a mistake in system). They say there is nothing they can do about it and sorry about it. Also, there is no way to log a complain. This is my 3rd cruise using Costco and Now I finally decided I am never using their site again (even if I get Free us see as there is no gurantee they will actually honor their site promotion)

Costco hearing aids - employee rudeness

On 1/15/16, I took my 92 yr. old father into the Costco to get new hearing aids. The hearing aid technician that helped us was rather rude to both myself and especially my father. He assumed that because we are Asian that my father's hearing problem was not due to his current hearing aids but because of a language problem. Our family are Japanese-Americans, born and raised here in the USA. My father fount in WWII for this country. For this technician to assume that my father doesn't understand English because of the way he looks is a total insult. He also suggested that we NOT purchase the new molded hearing aids because he stated it wouldn't make a difference in my father's hearing case because of the misunderstanding of the language. This is the first time that we have ever had this kind of problem with Costco. We love Costco. All the people that work there are so up-beat and polite so that is why I was shocked when he insinuated that because of the way we look is the reason for my father's hearing problems. We will go back to get his new hearing aids but we will NOT be seeing this technician again. I hope he doesn't treat other customers the same way as we were treated.

Costco your cashier

Ge I went to shop at your Costco in New Rochelle 1 Industrial Lane, on January 8, 2016. I wasn't feeling well & my wife & daughter were with me, we all paid for our items as separately & I, was the last person to pay my bill. Time was 19:36 p.m. I wanted $60.00 back with my purchase & the cashier didn't give my money along with the forever stamps. We left & when I, felt better I searched & searched not finding my $60.00. I've been a costumer for many years & never had this problem before, my cashier Name: Angelica. My name is R.M. Lynch & I, used my debt card. So if her bank was $60.00 over it should be mine. My e-mail is [protected]@aol.com. So sorry I, hope that this didn't cause any problem.

Costco nongshim kimchi noodle

On 01/05/2015 in fountain valley costco warehouse around noon time. I came with my mom to buy nongshim kimchi noodle and I saw the price that was on the top of the product is $6.78 so I got it right away. Then when I checked out my stuffs and I said to them that the noodle price is only $6.78. So they asked the other guys named joseph (tall with the glasses) to check again. We were waiting pretty long then nobody taking care of us then when I saw joseph pass over me, I called him to asked about the price checked. He said to me the price is $13.99. I was so surprised and asked him to go with me to check one more time. When we came there, I have no idea because they was changed the price tag that wasn't the one I saw before. I told him about that so he got me a really fun answer maybe the kids played around and change the price tag. Wow... Omg... The kids were so smart to change only the aisle and only that product that I picked? And another explain that he said the price tag said it's the cup noodle but the one I got is bowl. Wow... Did he mean I can't read english? I don't care what do they write anything on the tag but I just saw only the price and it located on the top of the product that's all. He just kept going to said a lot excuse so I asked him to stop talking to me and I want to return that product right away. Moreover, I asked his name and I think he got really scared i'm going to complain on him so he called to his manager (i don't remember his name but he is vietnamese) then finally he wasn't approved that was made by the mistake and kept telling his manager a lot excuse. But the manager just asked him one question that " was the price tag on top of the product?" and he said yes. Finally he could not say anything and said " okay so just give her that price $6.78" it sounds too mean. So I didn't buy that item and required him to take it off for me. I have really bad mood and was so angry not because of the money just because he thought I did it I guess. Joseph was really bad person I have ever seen in my life. Is it because i'm an asian?

Costco Coffee k cups box of 100

I have purchased these k cups for 2 years and love the taste and the pricing of 100 k-cups for around $36. I've had trouble with my Keurig and called them. We went through all the steps required for maintenance that I always perform, however, it drips slowly and not totally in a cup; the cup may only fill 1/3 and you have to run it through 3 times. The service rep asked what kind of k-cups was I using and I told him Kirkland. He said that is the problem, try switching to a Keurig approved K-cup. He said I could also cut open the k-cups and pour the contents into the Keurig filter, where you can use your own coffee. I did but it was such an inconvenience. So, I just bought the Keurig 550 at Costco. The new Keurig models take over 350 types of K-cups but the Kirklands K-cup is not one of them. I believe I have a recommendation. Re-engineer the Kirkland K-cups; there is too much coffee in the k-cup and it is extremely course and dense which jams the Keurigs. I love the taste and I love the value. I now will only purchase k-cups with the Keurig approval label. You need to get the approval on the box. Thanks for listening. COSTCO is first rate in all its products and I hope this helps.

I love Kirkland brand k cup coffee. Took me about a year to figure out the problem with my Kureig is the kurkland brand k cup. I've descaled buying Kureigs cleaning solution, using white vinegar, using a needle, calling the company and finally tried a different brand KC up which has less grounds in each cup. Very aggravating when I just want a good tasting cup of coffee

Costco phone service

To whom it may concern: I got hung up on after waiting for 16 min to speak to a supervisor in regards to my previous call to the costco photoshop center. This previous call ended in the suposed assistant laughing, saying:" Oh my god, I can't believe that just worked!" and then she proceeded to speak in an Indian/Middle Eastern accent to someone else before she realized that she had not hung up on me. No joke! I want to know what exactly went on there and why do I get hung up on when I try to find out if my account is still safe. Thank you

Costco why is government-issued id required for membership?

Their application form clearly states that ID is not required unless one plans to write checks. Based on this, I went to their store to start a membership with cash in hand. I was turned away from the membership desk because I refused to show ID. Does this creep anyone else out?

Costco christmas tree

Purchased a tree, wrapped. Got it home and unwrapped and it was so bad I had to return. Waited in line for 20 min. Got to the front and they said I had to bring the tree inside the building...so I did. Waited in line for another 20 min. The girl said that I could not exchange, only get cash back. To top it off they took the tree back to where I originally picked it up...wasted a lot of my time and the tree was very poor. never again with Coscto

I like how people call adult women girls, when they cannot even write a proper sentence that begins with a capital letter and ends with a period. This basic skill is taught in the first grade. Than again you seem to disrespect women by referring to them as girls so you are obviously not educated.

Costco optical employee - rude service

I visited the optical section of Costco for a pair of new glasses. I picked out a frame and lined up behind a couple that was being served by an employee. The employee stops his conversation with the couple to speak to me. He asks me how I can be helped. I was surprised by that because he cut off his conversation with the couple to speak to me. In any case, I explained that I had picked out a frame and would like to make an order. The employee responds in an extremely condescending tone and as he spoke, he frowned at me. Employee: "Uh, sir, I don't know if you know but we follow a line system here, " I was confused by his comment and shocked at how rude he was. Even the couple who he was in the middle of serving was confused. The employee then continued with his condescending tone. Employee: "So I don't know what's going on here. I'm not sure which of you are in line first, " Obviously the couple was in line first. The employee was already in the middle of serving the couple when I lined up behind them. I responded saying the couple was in line first, and the couple also explained that they were in line already while I was browsing and I had lined up behind them. The employee then said to me: Employee: "Sir, I think this couple was here first so I will serve them. Please get in line where the sign indicates, " The employee said it in a way like he was explaining it to a child. Then, he turned back to the couple and put on a fake smile. At no point did I interfere or cut anyone off in line, nor did I argue that I was in line first. The couple was already in the middle of being served and I was patiently waiting behind them. It turns out that this employee was unhappy that I was forming the line in the wrong direction. He wanted me to stand where the sign indicated. The sign was tiny and was not facing the correct direction. The employee could have simply explained to me or directed me to form the line in the correct direction. Instead, he stopped in the middle of serving customers to put on an act to try to make me look stupid. He was rude, passive-aggressive, and condescending.

Costco a dozen dime size bugs in our costco christmas tree.

We purchased our fresh Christmas tree at Costco on Saturday the 5th. After we put it up we found bugs in it, on it, and throughout our home. Lots of bugs. They are dime size green bugs and a week later we are still finding them. It is so gross and I have left an email as well as messages with Costco. When I spoke Costco about the issue they did not care and were not willing to resolve my issue. They did not ask if they needed to spray the home, or if w we would like a refund. I am highly unsatisfied. Prior to this we have never had an issue with Costco. My concern is that others may get bugs as well if this issue is overlooked. We will NEVER be buying another Christmas tree from Costco --- we are highly insulted by their indifference to something that could be a serious issue. Below is a photo of a few dead ones we have found - the rest have been either squashed or vacuumed up. Very gross. We love Costco, we are sad to leave any negative feedback.

Costco general customer service

Costco does not care about it's basic members, only the ones with the more expensive membership. I wasted over an hour of my day in costco on Regent in Winnipeg Manitoba. It was before work and I was in a hurry, I get to the check out and it reads my debit card cannot be authorized. I try three more times as I can clearly see on my online banking I have more than enough money in my debit account. SInce I have nothing else but visa I have no choice but to leave. Embarrassing and unnecessary I go to two other stores, where surprise surprise my debit card works. Costco is a waste of time and essentially money unless you are one of the corporate members that they care about. I will never be going to costco again or renewing my membership, and I have been a member for over ten years.

Costco does not have control over these transactions.

How else were the costco employees supposed to accommodate you? Membership level would not have made a difference.

Only issue would have been if they would have refused your cash. You already know that they don't accept Visa.

I fail to see why this is a customer service issue.

Costco kirkland organic no-salt seasoning

My 2 year old grandson is allergic to nuts of all kinds. Recently, I served him steak seasoned with the Kirkland product, pure potatoes mashed, and plain green beans. He immediately started breaking out in welts. My son informed me that cumin. . .even the organic kind . . is frequently processed with peanuts. I was very disappointed and very worried. Someone even more allergic than my grandson could unwittingly killed with the best of intentions. PLEASE LABEL THE SEASONING AS POSSIBLY CONTAINING NUTS! Ida
