Just keeping records at this stage - had a cosmetic iguide brow lift done as gp/specialist suggested to me that my blurry vision may be a result of a drooping eyelid. So the brow lift is advertised as making the eyes wider open and giving a younger appearance - sounds great look better and maybe improve my vision.
However 2 weeks out and after very painful surgery (told in surgery ÿou have to try too?) How do you do that when you are left awake and someone is using a knife on your face? Dr became quite angry
Service pre op of course was wonderful and after by the lovely staff especially Laura. However given impressiont this was a very popular procedure - kept asking for pics - not available due to privacy - someone was going to phone who had had it done - never happened.
Saved forever to get this done $8000 in cash - cannot possiby save this amount again.
Went to see doc again yesterday he said the eyelid is not lifted (worse on what was the good eye than it was?) he said this is swelling however I cannot see any swelling there.
Will wait another 2 weeks then go back and will ask for refund/more service (if Im brave enough) if the results are not visiblly better than at present.,
Please be careful when having procedures done - you may not get anything like what you are told will be the case.
RE COMPLAINT COSMOS CLINIC:
It has been about 9 months since my procedure. The swelling is well and truly gone now, and i can see the results. They are a lot better than when I first came out of the surgery.
The swelling did take a lot longer in my case than the recommended 2 weeks or so, which is why I was upset about my results after the few weeks post surgery. Once this swelling subsided and I recovered and healed, the results came out and it is a big difference to pre surgery.
My eyes are now lifted, and when I see the before photos compared to what I look like now, there is a very noticeable improvement.
The clinic has been very accommodating, answering my questions, and booking me in for follow up appointments when I wasn't happy.
Now everything has healed and the process is all over, I can say I am happy with the with the treatment and care from the Cosmos clinic and the professional way Dr Ajaka and all staff managed my concerns. Thank you
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Having just watched this clinic on 60 minutes about the complications patients are suffering I’d advise anyone to really re think about using this clinic it’s was absolutely barbaric to witness the complete lack of knowledge these so called plastic surgeons have. Also the lack of sterile surroundings on which they are performing on patients is just mind blowing I am also shocked how this clinic is not on the news due to the incompetence of these people who are basically ruining peoples lives with botched surgery’s use this clinic at your own risk they are scary'!
Look for a plastic surgeon before your procedure . Cosmetic surgeons are not trained enough and Cosmos is a big scam, doctor Ajaka is not a even licensed GP
I just watched a video called" Exposing the dark underbelly of the cosmetic surgery industry/ 60 minutes. Everyone should watch that video.
I feel very sorry for you. How ate things now? Did they improve after the swelling went down?
