Conn's Home Plus my sofa and loveseat I am trying to replace

PLEASE pull up my account - Rebecca Pickering, 2626 Kimberly Drive, Garland, TX 75040 Phone: [protected]

I have been waiting on a repair for quite sometime. I was advised at the end of March the replacements were no longer available and was told to go to the store at my convenience and choose a new sofa and loveseat to replace what I have.

I went to the Plano store on Friday while I was off work and was there for hours and left very angry - with no sofa. I chose a sofa and loveseat right away and my nice salesman tried to help but could not get the computer to accept the replacement transaction.

Finally, after getting to the bottom of it the newer, well made set that I chose - the loveseat now ships in 3 separate pieces to be combined together at delivery, BUT, therefore having 3 SKU#'s rather than the one - even tho THEY constitutes ONE (1) loveseat. The Salesmen and Customer Service Rep said they have to "exchange 2 pieces for 2 pieces." I am attaching the picture to this email. I don't care if it comes in 50 parts when the deliverymen put it together it is one loveseat - I want this sofa and loveseat. Please make whatever computer entries that need to be made.

I would appreciate a call within today to resolve this matter.

If you notice on the add below it states - "SOFA AND LOVESEAT" it does not say Sofa and 3-piece loveseat.

Conn's Home Plus refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator 3/20/17. Me and my daughter where tying it down and was told by a associate at the loading dock that he would do it, about 10 miles from the warehouse the twine that was holding the refrigerator down broke and it flew out of the back of the truck. Thank god i was behind it and no one else also we had gotten off the interstate to take a back way. i was told delivery was available for this reason, and there is nothing they can or will do. I told the lady i had food ruining and that is why i picked it up. I am a single parent an cant afford to loose everything i had in the freezer. Also i was told by several people this is not the first instance of this, even though they are not to tie anything down for you. i was given the run around and several stories by many people i spoke with on the phone. i was told to take it back to the warehouse and they would go through the protocol for insurance since i purchased it, then on my way to warehouse they called back and stated to take to the store, after i was already told the store could do nothing . I don;t think any of them knows what they are doing.

Conn's Home Plus accounts receivable

Have purchased at least $35k of merchandise form this store for me and my children and grandchildren. Have never been late.

I overpaid an account that I was paying off by $127.93 and they wouldn't send me my money back, they applied it to other accounts instead. I was pissed but I accepted the ignorance.

I paid all accounts as usual.In december I had a $109.87 balance on my account and paid it. Conn's refunded the payment by check, why I do not know. Someone called me 15 times a day but they never left a message once.

They eventually sent a letter stating that I was past due which I was not. So I paid on time and conn's sent a 30-day late to the credit bureau on me when I paid on time but they refunded the payment.

What should have been done was issue a stop payment of the incorrect check and put my payment I made on time back on my account. Instead, the totally inept personnel reported me to the credit bureau when I was not.

I am going to the store manager. I will file suit if I have to because I am trying buy a house and any late payments will mess up my rate and cost me thousands of dollars and this was conn's error.

I want that late report removed form my credit immediately and an apology for the ineptness of the person who did this and the person who approved it.

Conn's Home Plus washer

I has purchased a washer last year since having the washing it has broke 5 times. for the same reason . Conn's refuse to replace my washer but no one at Conn's wants to help me I have called customer service many times to have my washer replace it's always the same issue the mother board . still Conn's gives me different stoies that it's 4 times before they can replace which it has and now saying as long as they can fix the washer it's ok this past Sunday the washer started smoking I'm glad I was home, please some one help

Conn's Home Plus pillows

We purchase some pillows along with mattress set and a couch when we got home we notice that the pillows $200 worth were not what we purchase and called the store they told us they have a no return policy on bedding even tho they were still in the box and never opened but they would talk with the manager and see if there was something that could be done and call us back when we did not receive a call back I called again and the manager was not in but would relay the message still no response so called back again same response so we called main office and lodge a complaint they told us someone would give us a call back within 2 days well it's been a month and still waiting called store again and got same response no call back from customer service either never again will we deal with them very bad customer service and management, BUT GOOD NAME FOR THE COMPANY CONN'S SEEMS APPROPRIATE

Conn's Home Plus problems with multiple products

I opened an account at Conns about 2 years ago now. I initially purchased a stove and a chest freezer. The freezer has been working fine, but the first time I tried to use the oven it would not come on. I called service, and it was repaired; the digital control panel had to be replaced, but I was without an oven for over a week. More importantly, I feel I have paid brand new price for what is now, essentially, a refurbished stove. Still, I figure, things happen, they fixed it, no big deal. Total 2 service calls to complete the repair.

Later I purchased a computer. Again, no problems.

Later still, I purchased a washer / dryer set and a 55 inch television. Within a few days the dryer door does not shut. Again, service is called and a new door is ordered. I am without a dryer for a week or so and again, I feel I am paying new price for a refurbished product. Again, two service calls to complete the repair. Still not a great deal.

Finally, the straw that broke the camels back, as the saying goes, my 5 month old, 1000.00 television has power supply issues. Either it doesn't come on at all, or comes on by itself and will not go off. Again, service is called. First trip he gets the serial number and orders parts. A few days later, he arrives to do the repair, but has the wrong parts and has to drive about 100 mile round trip to get the right ones. He changes out the parts he has and they blow, and other parts blow along with them. Now he has to reorder more parts, and make a third trip to replace a very substantial amount of parts in my brand new television. Now I've got a refurbished television I paid new priced for.

I contacted Conns' service department and expressed my concern that I am paying full price for what is essentially now refurbished items and that to resolve the item they should either replace these items with new ones with new warranties or discount the items to what a refurbished items would cost, say 30% or so. I was told that only the manufacturer of the products could make that call. I rebutted that by saying that surely Conn's doesn't need the manufacturer's approval to keep customers satisfied. I was assured that they do. To add insult to injury, I was offered a credit of $100.00 as compensation for my inconvenience and for having to pay for refurbished products.

Conn's is really big about promising top quality products and unparalleled customer service. Is there anyone there brave enough to carry through on those promises?

Conn's Home Plus billing services

I had 3 accounts with Conns and just recently found out that my accounts were all mixed up and payments that I was giving were not properly applied which caused one of my accounts to become delinquent and my credit score dropped because of it. The accounts were apparently fixed and applied and I was told my credit would be fixed with Conn's and with the credit bureau's and they were not. I go back to Conn's to purchase a TV because after 3 years my other TV also purchased at Conn's blew out, and they tell me I have credit approved but I have to give a down payment (which I never had to do before). for all the trouble I was put thru I should of not had to put a down payment or no interest for 1 year or a payment at least till January. On top of that they apply my new purchase account to one of my existing accounts and made it due on December, and that account didn't have a payment due till Feb 2017 because of all the payments that were not applied to begin with. what I want is a refund of my down payment, no interest for a year and the two accounts to be separated with the old one going back to being due in February. I think this is only fair for the mess you all put me in, for the years I have been with you all and the accounts I have kept up to date.

Conn's Home Plus yes money

Also be sure to check out their minds little locations because every story has diferent merchandise and I agree with Jared it's an Awesome little loop hole it does not effect your credit their are other companies and businesses that provide similar offers but nothing can compete with Conn's they found out a loop hole with tax ride offs I'm Nevada because state tax does not apply so that ts even more the profit. I feel he horrible for the people who actually pay their monthly payments . Some of Conn's employees will tell you the deal but upper management treats their customers by the book but ask around you will find the right employee to do go through because they all make commission so they keep you it upfront and give you the get up unlike their management who are all bitter because they are stuck on salary ... corporate robots

Conn's Home Plus yes money

My brother in law had told me about ab awesome way to get money that won't effect your credit if you don't follow up with your monthly payments and even if f your credit isn't that great your still eligible from r up to 5, 000$ within that day . I thought I was being scammed by him when he had told me but it is totally solid 100℅ so I gave it a shot I found hired m credit is horrible anyway might as well try so I got my yes money quote online and even with a credit score of 625 I was eligible for 3500 so I went to the nearest store bought couches a new 3d TV Samsung smart 3d TV that is and at that time the i phone 5 s just dropped so I got me and my wife one and to the this day I refered my best friends lil sis her husband my old co worker and my mom and none of them paid except mom of course but screw their interest rate but anyways no one paid including myself and for over three years nothing popped up on my credit and I was shocked and so I investigated . Conn's gets overstock of companies they are contracts with such as apple Samsung and Sony and they profit off their trash basically and both of the companies get major company and business development tax ride offs and also their employees make a huge commission of every business transaction. So try this out but remember you can you only do this but once unless of course you pay that full retail price in monthly payments on top of that insane interest and is included . Don't believe me see for yourself

Conn's Home Plus frigidaire upright freezer

Bought this freezer new May 15 with Conns Extended service plan. Did not place it in service to the end of July. It would not work. Called into the service center and they could not schedule a date for service for 2 weeks out. The day that they were to get here they called to say that they only had one service tech in Oklahoma and he was out that day. They could not and would not give me a date when they could come back. They finally got me someone out 2 days later, he spent two minute here and said he would have to order parts. Parts came in and the scheduled another time, 10 days later. The tech came out with the new parts and replaced them. They were the wrong parts, and now I have to have basically the entire working parts replaced on the freezer. Called Conns, keep getting a call center, no one has a manager I can talk to. I bought a junk freezer from the start and a very expensive service plan that isn't worth the paper it is written on. They will call the manufacture for me, and will not allow me to bring the POS back to the store.

Bottom line, here I sit with a useless freezer that I cannot use, do not really know if they have correctly diagnosed the issues correctly now. Do not really want to talk to another rude individuals at a customer call that center. Those folks wouldn't know customer service if it slapped them over the head.

Mean time, I have paid payments on a useless freezer, and no one at Conn's seems to care.

Very Dissapointed
I can see now the extended warranty is a problem.
I purchased a LG Side by Side refrigerator in June of 2016 and the other night it flatlined. I called as instructed and also put in service request online. The appointment is 2 weeks away and I do not understand how CONN's can offer a product that they can not service. This is like stealing. Look up how much the CEO make sure for this company unbelievable.
I imagine he isn't going without a broken TV, washer dryer, bed or refrigerator. I work hard and have a roof over my head just when my job asks me a question or I need to do something I ask how high and I follow through and I don't make near what Norman Miller makes.

Conn's Home Plus air conditioner

On 07/13/2016 I went to the Conns store in Conroe Tx to get air conditioner on credit but when I got home with the air conditioner it was to big for my window so on 07/14/2016 .I went back to the store to return for a smaller one for exchange and they would not exchange so I just left the air conditioner there that I took back. They are telling me Im stuck with the bigger one. I'm not paying for one that want even fit my window. I don't want my credit hurt because of this I was just trying to exchange for a smaller ac.

Conn's Home Plus samsung washer and dryer dv508600e (g)*

I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Conns on 6/25/16, and the Dryer stopped working on 7/1/16. I called the Conns Tech out, and he came on 7/2/16 when he looked at the dryer he stated that the electronic boards in it had burned out and will need to be replaced, and could take a week to receive the parts. what also concerned me was the Technician told use that they haven't been train the these models yet, doesn't sound very promising. I wasn't happy with what I heard so I ended up returning to the store to explain my situation. once I got there I asked for the store manager, but instead they sent me the sales guy that sold me the stuff. I explained to him what was going on the dryer, and that I wanted to switch it out in stead of waiting for repairs from a Tech that may not know what is going on with the drying himself. the sales guy walks over to his manager and explained my situation, the store manager sent him back over to me to say that they were not able to do a switch out because It wasn't working, it is store policy. What Pissed me off more is the Manager did not want to acknowledge me himself to take care of the situation which is a part of being a store manager. I had to literally had to walk up to him and make him take care of my issue. this store has poor customer service and is in need of customer service training. and the store policy sucks because the customer has to suffer for being sold a faulty product. when Conns should be handing this with Samsung. I regret my purchase from this place and I will never buy anything else from this place nor will I advise anyone to shop here. the only reason I even came to this store is because my Husbands friend is sales guy at the store. I should have went to Lowes were customer service is awesome and prices are lower. once this machine is fixed I will be returning both washer and dryer I have had it!

Had my washer not even 24 hours and almost sounds identical to my issue...3 weeks later still no exchange. Tech has been out 3 times. First, came to look at it needed two parts, second time to replace the those parts and also stated that it needs another part. They are still going back and forth with me about an exchange. The repairman has been nice.

Conn's Home Plus financial services

I purchased a couple of items through Conns Home Plus and since has been a nightmare. I fell behind midway through the loan and had contacted them for additional help which they refused. After they refused on an average I have been getting 7 to 8 calls a day including weekends and many are hang ups. When I do take the calls they continue to harass me, belittle me, interrogate me, and refused to work with me until recently. Last week around 2/26/16 they contacted me and offered to defer payments toward the end of my contract if I paid $186.00 which I did. Each day since I get multiple calls claiming that I still owe and that their rep was mistaken and should not have offered such a deal. I asked them to listen to recording as they said they have on file but instead they are calling me a liar, and continued to try and push me. I eventually terminated the call. I know of several people that have experienced the same treatment and enough is enough. I am stressed, not sleeping, not eating, and feel sick to my stomach over it all. What does a company feel that they need to mislead consumers into paying additional money that I said I didn't have and get away with not honoring the agreement once they take my money? I am aware that I owe the money and have spoken with them several times and apologized and explained that they would get their money and I still get this outrageous, unprofessional, unethical treatment. They tell me that they will report this information to the credit reporting agencies if I do not continue the plan even after they refuse to honor my restructure that they offered. They also are charging additional fees on payments which was not explained of agreed too. If you listen to recording of my calls you will see that I have been professional, willing to pay, and appreciative of the products. I have guaranteed payment and explained that it would get paid once I receive my funds. Instead, they pushed me into paying more than what I could afford on a deal they structured then failed to honor their own plan. Why will my credit be affected when they failed to honor what we all agreed. Please have them provide you with copies of my calls and listen for yourself. I would start with 2/20/16 through today. I have contacted an attorney locally and he said to start with you. Please help me resolve this matter and put a stop to the madness. I am begging you to help me stop them from further harassment.

Conn's Home Plus they called us and requested money, but we have made three payments already

We have received the notice from Conn’s Homeplus that they have approved our credit. After that we bought two sofas from them. When the time came to pay, we started to get different phone calls from their staff. These guys requested two payments upfront. We have no idea why, because when we called them back, no one responded. We have made three payments, but it seemed that they haven’t received our money. We couldn’t reach these guys.

Conn's Home Plus hudson dinning chairs and management

Bought furniture six months ago, poorly assembled as I sat down the chair started to calapse with me in it. I followed the proper channels and even went to the store with my Hudson dinning chairs to exchange or receive credit since I'm still paying on them. Manager "Michael" was condensending and got his team to make my atmosphere unbearable while I was trying to call customer service at the store. The manager had an employee vacuum in and around my feet. They raised the music to the max and tested the surround sound for what seemed to be five minutes. Customer service on the phone told me that I should have done better reashearch, I let her know that it's not like I bought the furniture online I actually went to the store. They were redundant. I'm a dissatisfied customer. I left the store without my defective chairs due to the fact that my contract states that I can not sell, abondon, assign or encumber without their permission. Then I get a voice from Michael" stating that they are going to repossession my chairs. Now I have no chairs, no exchange, no credit and I'm still paying for them.

Conn's Home Plus billing/contract

Conn's has been mistreating me every since I got the product. It took them six months to correct a problem that started back in 02/01/2015. Every since they finally corrected the problem back in May and I hadn't been late since then. Then in 09/12/2015 this year I got a returned check and they sent me an email to say call and make and arrangement or make a payment and stay in good standing. Then they sent me a letter stating make a payment before 10/28/2015 to keep your cash option. So I informed the call manager and she stated that I couldn't speak to anyone higher than her and got very rude with me. Then I explained that I was calling to make a payment but that they had already gotten rid of my cash option and that the letter was sent in error. That made me really mad I said why was my cash option gotten rid of. They stated that I was 2 months late and I was not. I told her to listen that I made my August payment on the same day it was due and she said that I called after five and the csr rep should have told me that it was late even though it was the same day and I called in and spoke with the payment. So they took my money and want let me talk to anyone. My account was paid off and all I owed was $1000 dollars and now it #3000 they want.

Conn's Home Plus collection

Harassing me even when i am taking keymo i got real sick cant pay for my stuff but it is almost paid off my ice box i had to get fix they said warranty is gone plus my lawn mower warranty gone never tried to call me to help i am on ssi now i got sick can't pay they call me 10 time a day even when i am at the dr office i told them that dont matter they still harass you after you talk to them

Conn's Home Plus delivery service damaged the kitchen walls and tile with a refrigerator.

date of incident 9/23/2015

The delivery drivers damaged my wall and cracked my kitchen floor tile.
The Plano, tx General Manager Jeffrey Jones has no level of customer service. I now have no refrigerator, a damaged home and have had at least 5 accounts. I am requesting the company repair my walls, cabinet molding and floor tile and Comp my refrigerator for my trouble, compensated for time and stress. R Strickland 9343 phone

Conn's Home Plus leather sectional

Conn's is a total rip off, you by one thing, they deliver another.
you see I brought a leather sectional or I thought it was leather
from Conn's alone with the insurance to cover any damages if
anything happen to the sectional, unfortunately the sectional began to peel, when I called for repair or replacement they said my 5 year
warrant insurance was no longer good, I only has it for two years I know it was good. I advise all to beware of Conn's deceiving practice.
is there anything that can be done about this company deceiving practices?.

Conn's Home Plus harassment contract issues

Beware of Conns appliance stores. Do your reasearch and read the complaints because they are true.
This will save headaches and frustration at the end I opened a brand new account in March. My contract due date is the fifth, conns will start calling me every hour on the first, of each month April, May June. They will apologize and continues to do this. Saying its an error in the system. So far I wished I had never made a commitment with Conns. In addition if you have any problems with your purchase ...customer service goes right out the window, I sum this experience has dealing with a bunch of pirates.
