Community Club Management review: Harassment 1

I live in The Park at Windward Village in Milton, GA. I am unfortunate enough to live beside the President of our HOA. She walks around the neighborhood making notes of homes that do not meet her expectations, however her home needs to be painted badly. In addition, she has an old car in her driveway with a cover on it - I'm sure I wouldn't be allowed to do that. If I don't being in my trash can the day of pick up, she will loudly place it behind my car so that I cannot leave until I do as she wishes. When I confronted her, she claimed that it is killing the grass. So I drove through the neighborhood each morning and took photos of all of the other trash cans still out - at least 40 of them - one for as many as 6 days. She took my daughter's graduation sign and placed it in the trash - my daughter was crushed as she struggled to graduate from school. We receive letters telling us to paint our homes, yet her house looks like it has never been painted. She is now storing an old ElCamino in her driveway (for many months now) with a cover on it, I'm sure I would not be allowed to do that.

I have now received a letter stating I owe past due payments - I have never missed a HOA payment and always pay by the 5th of the month - usually the month before. Never has there been any communication that late fees would be assessed. When I call them, it takes weeks to hear back, then they suggest I send an email - while my message clearly stated I want to speak to someone directly. Nobody ever answers their phone, so it's impossible and now they are turning me over to collections. I would like to see this company put out of business, and at the very least replaced in our community.

For someone who said just move, apparently you are not a homeowner. There are major fees associated with selling and buying a home and it just isn't as simple to 'just move'.
