After signing up for an account with comcast for 6 months at prorated amount, I moved and had to reestablish service. When I called to move service, the sales rep offer to extend out the 6 month offer to a full year because I would have to pay a reconnect fee.

However after the first 6 months at the new location, my bill went to the normal rate. After 3 calls, one email, and one internet chat session, they were unwilling to negotiate in any manner.

I can't believe Comcast, the nerve!
The service got cut off due to hurricane Ike, September 12 midnight, coincidentally I made my payment early that day, it got the service reconnected the evening of October 2 that makes almost three weeks without the service.
Funny that I received my new bill the same day of the reconnection, charging the full amount of the month.
I found in their website that they will credit users for the time down, so I called Comcast to see how my balance was going to be in order to send my payment.
The customer service representative told me that Comcast is willing to credit me for One Week Only and that’s for all subscribers.
I thought that is ridiculous, in fact, I should be entitled to pay for only 1 week of service since that is all they provided.
They said that they were only going to credit me for the service during the time since I got electricity back up and running.
I told them that is wrong because even though at home the power was out, my household was running with a generator, even then I couldn’t get signal because Comcast service was down.
So that is their problem, not mine. They did not deliver a service, why should I pay for something I never received?
