My son at the age of 16 ordered from columbia house over 5 box sets and some singles. now after 7 years, columbia house decided that he didn't fulfill his obligation because they say that box sets don't count (box sets run anywhere from$30-$100 each) but they don't fulfill the obligation. not only was he underage when he started buying these, he DID fulfill the obligation. i called them and had this straightened out 4 years ago with columbia house and now it pops up again. they have sent a collection agency threatening to take him to court plus put it on his credit report. what do we do now. nobody ever follows through and they aren't listening.
