This is a worthless Timeshare dressed up as fractional ownership. They say they will sell your timeshare and market your weeks for $2, 600 for five years. They also sell an annuity called Amerashare which got charged on my credit card as Coco Adventures, also my first clue this was a fraud. Why would they charge an annuity as Coco Adventures? I will tell you why, because it's a scam. My sales reps Joe and Josh told me the other complaints on the Internet were from disgruntled employee's and I believed them at first, they seemed like decent people. Until I went on google and did a simple search of their names. I ask you to do the same to see all of their satisfied customers. Start with the owners of the company and go from there: George Triggs timeshare, Abe Gardner timeshare, Joe Merante timeshare, Todd Dehn timeshare, Joe Potter timeshare, also google Costa Rica Timeshare News. I could continue but what's the point. Call your credit card company now and cancel, do not believe any of it.

ME AND MY HUSBAND ARRIVED AT THE COCO BAY ESTATES IN MAY OF 2014. WE WERE SCAMMED BY TOD ROAN AND BILL HOOD. I COULD NEVER REACH ANYONE ON EMAIL OR PHONE, ONE OF THE AGENCIES I WAS DEALING WITH IS TIMELY TRAVEL. HEARD FROM THEM ONE TIME I HAVE NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. I AM IN THE MEANTIME BEING CONTACTED BY DESMOND CLARKE FROM EQUINOVA BECAUSE HE IS SAYING I AM IN DEFAULT OF MY CONTRACT. THE REASON IS I WILL NOT GIVE THEM MY OTHER TIMESHARE WEEKS. I AM REFUSING BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT EVEN GIVEN ME A MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. HE THEN STATES HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER COMPANIES INVOLVED. THE COMPANIES INVOLVED IN MY SCAM ARE TIMELY TRAVEL, EQUINOVA, LUXURY LEISURE ALLIANCE, AMERASHARE FOR THE SO CALLED ANNUITIES I NEVER RECEIVED. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON TRYING TO RECOUP THE MONEY I HAVE LOST AND THE OTHER WEEKS OF TIMESHARE THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM ME PLEASE EMAIL ME AT MVSTOKES@BELLSOUTH.NET. VICKIE AND MATT STOKES

We were just scammed from Bill Hood, Bahia Turqusa (Coco Sunset Vacation club) 7, 000. Nov 2014. I called all numbers and only got computer voice mail. Called interval international and they have no record of out membership. They tell you to wait for 8 weeks before you recieve anything, which goes over the 8 days to get money back.

As of early November Fernando May and Bill (Billy, William) Hood are still in operation at Playa del Coco at both the Coco Bay Residence Club and Las Palmas. If you have been ripped off like the rest of us, join the fight at cocobayscam@gmail.com

These crooks have relocated to Roatan, Honduras, apparently.

According to sources Todd Dehn, Abe Gardner, George Triggs and Fernando May are reportedly running the same kind of operation in Roatan that got them so much attention (and money) as the Puerto Bahia and Costa Rica flim-flams, but it’s supposedly so top secret that they didn’t use any of the old sales people or VLOs to staff it in order to keep it quiet. They seem to have thought they could keep it on the down low, but secrets have a way of coming out. Sometimes all it takes is someone finding a picture of someone else on the Internet and making that connection. Hey, that’s the same guy who… - See more at: http://insidethegate.com/gatehouse/#sthash.WdHwRWn0.dpuf

My wife and I were scammed here at Coco Bay as well in late April. We are still battling with Coco Bay on the charges and with my credit card for getting our money back. I have the same experience as Jesse James69. They have not told us about the $2000 admin fee although I'm sure when they get a hold of us again. If you have the same story, I would be happy to share mine in more detail. Jesse James69 you can contact me at orion2675@yahoo.com or anyone else that has lived this nightmare.

We were subjected to the fraudulent sales tactics of these criminals mentioned above @ Coco Bay Estates in cost Rica. The claimed "Timely Travel" {one of their partners, that uses a fictitious address in Sioux Falls, SD} would sell our timeshare, while also "buying" our un-used weeks for $2600/week, for 5 years. The math seemed way too good to be true, and it was. Not only will they NOT sell your timeshare week(s), but they will steal your money and disappear. By the time the 300-day settlement period {as per the "contract"} is over, they will be long gone, and so will your chances of ever recouping your money.
We got very luck - we demanded to cancel the contracts, and refused to pay the $2000 "admin fee" they want to cover their "marketing" costs. Contact the FBI here:http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
to file your complaint, if you have been burned by these pests.Tell them to fwd. the info to the Richmond, Virginia office to the attention of Special Agent Michael R. Schuler.
