Dr Merchant treated my child @ER Prov. He was extremely mean to the point of being abusive both verbally and physically. He smelled heavily of alcohol and was pompous and unapologetic when I confonted him about his unacceptable behavior. At one point he angrily shook my child!. In reading others complaints about him, it appears that I was lucky. We cant always choose who provides our emergency care, but I would suggest you never use him and certainly never leave your loved one(s) alone with him!

What kind of jerk like this needs to pay someone to "scrub" his name with fake articles about his "humanitarian" love?. He is a sexual predator pervert that hunts little children. I hope one day PRISON is in his future and that they will show him how it feels to be a victim. What a horrible existence he maintains... The guy is a gigantic LOSER and jerk! Cliff... You tried to hurt my family when it waas most vulnerable. You are a sick bastid who sexually abused little girls who you hunted! You are in need of help and need to be imprisoned!
I hope you report him to the medical review board, hospital administration, and any regulatory bodies that oversee the hospital or his licensing.
