On 6-9-11, I purchased 6 felines from Cleghorn Paws Cattery of North Carolina. I paid in full, in cash and check. Christy Carroll, breeder of Himalayan cats, states that she told me specifically on that date that she did not at that time have registration papers for CFA registration for these 6 felines. What she actually said was "I need to get my paperwork straightened out, and I will mail you the registrations." If I was meant to translate that into "I haven't registered the kittens; I haven't even registered the sires and dams", then yes, she told me the truth. HAD she told me that she did not have registrations on sires and dams, much less kittens, I would never have bought a single feline from her, much less 6! We are now at 9-27-11. I still have NO registration papers for any of these felines. Not only that, she has failed to deliver the last feline, or inform me as to when it will be available. I have only 5 of the 6 that were paid in full on 6-9-11. CFA (Cat Fanciers' Association) has been notified of her deplorable cattery practices. They have instituted investigation into this matter, and state that Mrs. Carroll has been uncooperative with them as well. Their representative states that Mrs. Carroll has not registered any felines since 2009. Mrs. Carroll refuses all communication with me, and legal remedy will be the next step to resolving this. I am also told by Admat Cattery in Australia that Mrs. Carroll owes them money dating back years on cats purchased from them. Unless you put your "SUCKER" sticker on your forehead and expect to be treated like a mushroom (put me in the dark and feed me S____, steer clear of Cleghorn Paws. I purchased 2 cats as starter stock from her in 2009. They were in the most impeccable shape and had over the top vet care. I have purchased cats before that I could tell, they'd never had a bath until the day before sale, but it was obvious that these 6 month old cats had daily attentive care. The male was absolutely GORGEOUS, but never was fertile. The female, is the absolutely NICEST, ragdoll attitude cat I've ever met, had a pointed head but produced 3 beautiful babies from another sire with no points. As Pets, I definitely would get again, but maybe not breeders. They both had registration papers and Christy was very helpful to me and willing to spend much time speaking with me. She taught me to look for signs of pyometra, and it saved my females life b/c I had her spayed just in time. I still have these beautiful, most wonderful attitude cats.
Listen, Christy spouts Christianhood and how she gives...but I recently was supposed to get a kitten and Christ of Cleghorn Paws and Rebecca of Sweet petunias are friend/partners. I had a kitten from Dreamz coming to me. My daughtrers were fighting over which room the kitten would live in.as I usually quarantine them when they first come to me. After a year of looking for a kitten that died of FIP and finally picking one and waiting for her to develop. The week she was coming I heard from Lynn Seguin that some breeder/s contacted her and told her not to sell me a kitten. I don't have alot of contact with breeders and I knew the woman spouting goodness and god could also be a backstabber. She trashed Sweet Petunias and Rebecca yet they are "friends" and I got for $2K what was supposed to be a show quality/breeder quality chocolate girl. A unicorn. This pointy head girl I've been told to "work around". I was goping to for all the money I spent deal with the challenges until they both blocked my sale. Lynn would not deliver my cat..."I don't usually listen to heresay, but I wont be giving you this kitten based on what some breeders told me?" Christy was ofering a replacement to my "unicorn" but now I am told to work with it...I have, she has been faulted as that at shows and 50% o her kittens have pointy heads...no surprise!
I am new and there are no breeders I really talk to...So that would be Rebecca from Sweet Petunias and Christy who adores Lynn and Dreamz and has a kitten from her from Cleghorn Paws. If anybody needs evidence of this I HAVE A MILLION EMAILS FROM ALL. DREAMZ NOW WONT EVEN ANSWER MY EMAILS, YET I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A KITTEN AND LISTED AS SUCH ON HER WEBSITE FOR 4 MONTHS. IT WAS A REPLACEMENT FOR A STUD THAT DIED OF FIP...THE ONLY REASON I AM LISTING THIS IS BECAUSE SHE WON'T ANSWER MY EMAILS. please consider who you share information with...chameleondesign@mac.com
Peggy you are a lying psychopathic alcoholic. Deplorable cattery practices? Because she didnt register her kittens? How about the breeders out there that shove their cats into cages stacked up 7 feet high? That is deplorable. What you are complaining about to every single person that will listen to your nonsense is petty. Christy welcomed you into her home and you thank her by getting drunk and insulting her family. Then sneaking out in the early morning hours while everyone was still sleeping with kittens that were not ready to leave their home and had not had their shots. Christy Carroll is a good decent Christian woman who loves and adores her animals and would give you the shirt off of her back with barely a question asked, and you should be ashamed of yourself for your childish behavior. You are a vindictive bitty who needs to get a life and learn how to run your own cattery. Newsflash Peggy. CFA does not have laws that each cattery must abide by. If Christy or any other breeder chooses not to register their cats it is not a crime! And for you to think it is just shows how uneducated you are. The bottom line is you were told upfront that paperwork was not ready, and you were told that those kittens were not ready to leave. For some reason that I can only contribute to mental illness, you leave Christy's house and immediately begin cyber stalking her. I can only hope that you will get the help you so obviously need, and until then I feel very sorry for everyone that comes into contact with you.
