free trial period
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 7 votes
Company information:
Cleanwhites
San Diego, California
United States

I ordered the "free trial" of Cleanwhites with the 14 day free trial period; however, it took a week to process the order and by the time I received it, I had about 7 days to actually try the product. The company called me twice about this order, pushing the $79.99 and each time I told them I was only interested in the "free" stuff and nothing else. I called immediately to make sure I would not be billed for or sent anything else in the future. I have a feeling this was a mistake and something I am going to regret trying.

Yes, you will regret trying it. Not only will you have to pay to ship back the product (within the allotted time) in order to avoid an $80 charge, you have also been signed up to several other subscriptions, unknown to you, and will start getting charges for those in the next few weeks.

You need to call CleanWhites to cancel that, and then ask them "What else am I signed up for?" They'll give you some toll-free numbers and you have to call each one to cancel all the other stuff. Get a cancellation number and KEEP IT forever, then watch your CC statements online like a hawk, every day, to check if they are still charging you.

Unfortunately, the names of the companies they SAY you're subscribed to and the actual names on the CC statements won't necessarily match. One more way they make it hard for you to figure out what's going on.
