It has been since February 2009, we initiated communication with CitiMortgage about our loan modification. After mailing all documents requested just over 2 months ago, this has been a very bad experience. 8 months now in late October 2009, after too many conversations with multiple CitiMortgage Representatives who do not have a clue about our loan, this current contact, our Loss Mitigation Dept. representative, Felipe Bracero has not recently returned my calls after 4 attempts of me calling him only to leave more messages on his very long winded recording. He lost our 2007 Tax Return which was in the same envelope with our 2008 tax return submitted over 2 months ago. He stated he had the 2008 tax return but not our 2007 tax return (again, it was in the SAME envelope!!). PLEASE, if anyone has information on how to escalate this to proper authority or agency, please respond to this with a comment. We are very concerned. Now, Mr. Bracero sent us a letter dated October 14, 2009 which we received October 29, 2009 wanting more "New" information on our already existing loan with a turn around time of 7 days. Also, I left my cell phone number on all Mr. Bracero's voice mail messages specifically asking him to call me on my cell, he continues to call our home phone and leaves a message. At this point in time, it's harrassment and we are not confident in providing any more personal data to this man without any accountability on his end. Avoidance, lost legal documents, numerous confused representatives, exhaustive hours on the phone with them 45 minutes each time should serve as a forwarning for anyone considering a CitiMortgage loan modification. It is a nightmare you may want to reconsider.
