Citibank credit card

I did not receive my business card, AMEX expired and I have had numerous problems as a result. Called to get a new card and it took 2 weeks for action. Called again after one week and now finally have received 3 cards (!). ...two had the same credit card number but different costco account numbers and different pictures of me, the third is a totally new account number. This is ridiculous - plus it really makes me wonder what is going to happen with the billing etc. Pls check into this soonest. I look to COSTCO for quality - this is not it.

The new Citi Card is not downloadable to QuickBooks - mainly only Quicken. Also, it appears that unless you sign up for paperless billing you cannot even view the statement on-line. The rewards are fine but when I have to spend a significant amount of time entering the transactions into QuickBooks, it is not worth it. American Express was downloadable and...

Citibank best buy visa

Let me start by saying I am a 10 yer customer of thi s card on autopay so there is no history of late payments and they earn money off my interest (Albeit a relatively small balance). So today I go online to check my account balance and I notice that it appears like my account is cancelled. ($0 available balance even though not near limit). I call to verify and they abruptly cancelled my account due to something else that showed up on my credit report. What the heck kind of business practice is that? Why would a company cancel a long term customer in good standing with no history of problems and which they are making money off of? The main reasons this upsets me are a. The tenure of this account was good for my credit rating and b. The payment history of this account was good for my credit rating. Now my avg age of accounts will drop and potentially negatively impact my credit which I am trying hard to repair!

These days credit is hard to get due to all the deadbeats. For something to show on your credit report, it has to be at least 2 months behind since credit reports run 30 days behind. So when you show late 30 days, you are in reality 60-90 days late. That is a problem for lenders, since they know this.

i understand that they are entitled to, but i always figured that was written in for cases where someone was becoming a problem - i.e constantly late on payments, asking for credit increases, etc. i was neither of these. i was a revenue stream which cost them nothing - i never called their call centers, i uses paperless billing, i used autopay...i just dont understand the logic.

What kind of business practice is that? That is standard credit practice that has been in effect for decades. Any lender who loans you money, or extends credit to you, is entirely permitted, by law, to decide they no longer want to loan you any more money. They can choose to close your card at any time. It is in the credit agreement you singed when you got the card. Even a bank can choose to close a line of credit if your credit report begins to show negative actions. It is called a free market.

Imagine it like this: you loan money to a friend. Then loan more money to that friend. Do you think you have the right to decide to stop giving money to this friend? Banks and credit lenders have the same right. It is the law.

You would have to pay the shipping charges to the courier company through western union, in order to complete this transaction and get the whole funds released in your bank account. So therefore, we advice you go to nearest western union office, and send the excess sum rm2, 500.00 myr to the transport agent out of your own pocket and send us a scanned copy/photograph of the western union transaction receipt (In .Jpg format). Note: this is important as a security measure to ensure safety of this transaction. Thanks, sri.

Citibank wrong information and bad customer experiance

I am writing you today to explain my dissatisfaction & bad customer experience in your respectable Citi Bank Egypt I am the owner of TITANIUM Master Card Credit I went to Citi Bank branch “Mostafa El Nahas” on date 10 Nov 2015 to deactivate my credit card The agent there told me that I have to pay all amount on the card in order to deactivate + she didn’t have the system that calculate the total amount especially that the card have interest because of delay in payment I told her that I need to know the total amount “NOW” to settle the card & deactivate it She direct me to the CS (16677) as they can know the total amount to settle the card & deactivate it I phoned the mentioned CS on 10 Nov 2015, an agent answered me & I asked him to know the “TOTAL” amount on the credit card to settle & deactivate it He answered that I have to pay 20, 710 L.E. as this is the total amount required on the credit card to settle & deactivate it then to call them again after 12 am so that the amount can be reflected on the system & issue a deactivation request I told him are you sure from this amount & he answered yes I am sure (please listen to the phone call on that date, I phoned the CS from [protected]) Also I request a certificate mentioning that I have successfully deactivate the credit card & he answered that I have to pay another 60 L.E. to issue such certificate I paid on that day 20, 710 L.E. + 60 L.E. = 20, 770 L.E. (Please check the attach Receipt) I phoned the CS again on date 11 Nov 2015 to issue a deactivation request, the agent replied that the process will take 5 days & during these 5 days an agent will phone me to complete the process of deactivation request No one phoned me & I phoned them again today 16 Nov 2015 & asked to deactivate the card They direct me to one of the retention agents “Rawya Saif” & after verifying the data with me she replied that she can’t proceed with the deactivate because the card still have 417 L.E. not paid yet, I told her the above mentioned story & she replied that I can issue a complaint through the call center as she is not concerned with issuing a complaint! Conclusion: • I am not satisfied by the behavior of the collection agents who used to phone me & this is one of the main reason that push me to deactivate your card • I got wrong information from the call center agent who give me a wrong amount to pay in order to deactivate the credit card • No one follow up the deactivation request from the date of issuing the deactivation request 11 Nov till today 16 Nov 2015 • I am not happy with Rawaya’s phone conversation today with me as she is not supportive @ all • I am not happy with the agent behavior “Female” that answered me today & direct me to the retention team • The pending amount (417 L.E.) should be waived as I got wrong info from your respectable side regarding the total amount required to deactivate the credit card • I need the deactivation statement whom I paid 60 L.E. to be issued Thanks & waiting for your valuable feedback ASAP please

Citibank best buy credit card

I have had a best buy credit card for many years, and over those years I have bought many things. I bought a group of phones in 2013 and that was the last purchase I made. My card was closed due to inactivity! How in any sense of marketing does closing a card instill goodwill on any level. Due to this exemplary level of credit interpretation I will have nothing to do with citi bank, as far as best buy goes, I will go in their and look at what I want to buy and go somewhere else and bargain with best buys price! I would think that is the last thing that best buy would like!
Sincerely unhappy!

Citibank not accurate

I paid off over$ 13, 000 to citi bank on my Sears last year mastercard.-- I am now in the process of paying off my GM card that was negotiated down. I have had a problem postal service not delivering my mail if Lot 47 isn't on the bill they send it back and I have lived in the same house since 1987. when my husband died in 2003 I was also marked as dead and I had all kinds of trouble getting a job and was accused by the credit reports of stealing someone's social security card. I had to get our US. Senator Lindsay Graham to get it straight .I pay all my bills but my credit report just said I had a tax lien which is crazy.I don't owe any taxes. Most every month I pay a lot over the minimum amount. I want a fair report on my credit.

Citibank decline of application

Citi bank declines people that has EVER filed for bankruptcy against any of their credit cards, store cards, or gas cards. Their policy states that it does not matter if the bankruptcy was 25, 30 or even 50 years ago, if they still carry it in their data base even though the bankruptcy does not show on any credit repot your application will be denied.
With a non forgiving stupid policy as this bank has, I'm surprised with all the bankruptcy's over the past 40 or 50 years that Citi Bank is even able to issue a credit card to any body now a days. I think once this policy starts to get well known their competitor's will gain more business.

Citibank negligence

Re: 17125 Burton Ave, Lockport, Il 60441, Act # [protected] – >
It is truly amazing to me, how banks and mortgage companies had to be baled out by the government (taxpayers) in the real estate recession of [protected]. And yet CITIbank (CITImortgage) appears to be as dis-organized and mis-managed as ever. I would assume their share-holders and the public would be very interested in cases like mine.
I closed on a new home in 2007. In 2011, my Muscular Dystrophy flared up and my Neurologist made me leave my job as Hospital Administrator due to my worsening condition. I was put on disability and dropped down to half salary. I could no longer handle my house payments. At that time my mortgage was through Nationwide. They approved a Deed In Lieu in 2012 and I was ready to move out to a rental apartment. Within a few days while I was getting the papers signed, I got a letter that Nationwide sold my mortgage to CITI. I contacted CITI and found out that I had to go through the whole process again. I went through the arduous task of completing all of the paperwork AGAIN updating everything. I was approved by CITI in the spring of 2014. The only thing that was needed was an inspection and contact with the Homeowners Association to get a status update on fees owed. I tried to do this myself, but was told by the HOA that CITI had to request this info. They also wanted an inspection and the keys turned in. The inspector came out twice, took pictures and I left the keys on the counter as instructed and moved out. This occurred in fall of 2013. I emailed and called many, many times. I didn’t get any response until I was told that my case was closed for lack of cooperation in getting the HOA info. Up to this time, I had been pleasant and cooperative. Now because of my illness worsening due to stress, I complained. I was forwarded to the Executive Response Team. I was assured that the case would be finalized and I would get the Deed In Lieu BUT I had to complete all of the info AGAIN because so much time had gone by. So I submitted all of the updated paperwork FOR THE THIRD TIME and waited. I even got the updated info from the HOA for CITI. Now I am being told that my case is closed again because the inspector can’t get into the house to do an inspection (which was already done 18 months ago). I was told to get police to go to the home and evict whomever was living there. I contacted the HOA and was told that they had rented it out and the renters were interested in buying it. AGAIN, I emailed and called CITI to re-open the case with the possibility of a short sale. My three emails and calls have been unanswered.
Does CITI have so much money that they can let a house sit for over two and one half years with no payments coming in. Or are they just so negligent and dis-organized that they keep shuffling my case from person to person, all of whom have the “not MY job” attitude. If I had run my Hospital Units as poorly as this process was handled, I would have been fired long ago. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEEN. I’m sure the public (taxpayers) would be very interested in seeing just how much progress the banks (CITI) has made since 2007. I would be happy to let them know.
I would have given up, but I think people need to know what CITI is doing. I have been trying to do the right thing for CITI and for me. I wanted to save them the trouble and expense of a foreclosure. And I NEED the grant from HAFA for my moving expenses. I am willing to pursue this legally if I have to. But I am hopeful that this can get resolved without going through that process. PLEASE give me someone who knows what they are doing and is willing to do their job.
Janet McCrea

Citibank Credit sold my account without my consent or signature to GE
Money Bank. They transferred my original sale price plus interest without
taking into account the fact that I paid two years on the principal and interest $123/month for a total of $2952. I gave no permission to transfer

Citibank completely no support and the staff is unprofessional

The worst services, so be aware that the company Citibank Inglewood Branch is total scam. I got three cards from them, but all security codes didn’t match and none of these cards ever worked. I went to their branch and wanted to get help, but the rep was total jerk and couldn’t provide the new card and he tried to explain why, but he told only some crap. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Let’s share views about this company.

Citibank account block issue

Citibank blocked my UK account for some reason. I called back to unblock it and I was told that it would be done within 24 hours. I called after 48 hours and still it was not done and I was again told that it will be done in 24 hours. They dont know the reason it is blocked and they dont know the department who blocked it, what crap. This is still going on from 10 days and I have been calling twice a day, every time they say that they have sent the email to concerned department and it will be done in 24 hours. Their supervisor knows nothing and he doesn't know how to expedite the request further.
Stay away from citibank uk, I will move my money out at the first chance I get.

Citibank no customer service!

Premier Card with $175 annual fee.
"0" balance Credit Card with $15K credit line available was declined for a "$1000" charge @ 2:00 am in Los Angeles, CA.
Called the 24/7 Customer Service phone printed on the back of the card, an automated system asking all kind of security questions for account verification, before transferring to an agent. However, I got a voice-mail, saying I reached the CitiBank's customer service after business hours!
Tried three times, [protected], and the same process.
After a few days, I called the same number within the business hours asking what is going and to report that there might be a problem with that Automated system transferring customers to a wrong number after hours, etc.
The agent, offered me some free points however, I said there is a problem, and she said that she dont know what to say and can not do anything about it. So I asked for someone who can, and she transferred me to her Supervisor.
This Man identified himself as "Max King" told me we work 24 hours and doesn't know what happened. And then asked me when did you called, I said look at my account, you see the declined charge, the time and the date, I called at the same time, the same number that I'm talking to you now. SUddenly he became rude, and start cutting me off when I was trying to answer his questions, and went on and on about "well you told me a week ago, but your account shows two days ago, so which one is i? and on and on, So I replied, that is not the point, its all in the account, the fact is that you did not have anyone helping your customer then and neither right now!
I'm doing you/your company a favor! calling you my time to let you know there is something wrong with your Automated system, and this is what I get? He replied, well, !'m going to make a note of this, but there is nothing I can do...

? So what I am wondering what if I needed help? s this the shape of things to come with the CitiBank Credit Card? or just the Premium members?

?

After 6 years of being a loyal credit card customer, I mailed my monthly check seven days in advance and they claim they did not receive it. I called twice as a concerned customer. Phone service did not recognize my phone number, or my credit card. After a long wait I explained and documented with a case number my attemps to have this payment posted on time. It is very common for this Bank to claim payments arrive late to quickly assess a late fee and jack up the interest rate to 28.990%. Vice President G.Stevens (I guess they do not want to reveal the first name) quickly sent a threatening letter for late payment. I had already made a second payment over the phone, and coincidentally the supposed late payment was posted on my account at the same time resulting in double the payment I was supposed to make. Totaly premeditated and abusive tactics. The letter from G. does not show a reply mailing address. Only address is on the payment stab, good luck trying to find a Ciibank Vice President in Sious Fall, SD!. I showed concerned and got in touch with the Bank three times trying to continue my clean payment record. I hope to receive confirmation from the bank that my interest rate will not be increased.
