CinemaNow No access

I had an account on CinemaNow website and had over 20 movies there. I loved this site in the past and actually wasted a lot of money on these movies. One day I wanted to watch something and went to my library, some movies just stopped working. Now I don't have an access to my library at all! When I want to enter my library is says server error. I contacted customer service many times and asked them to fix the problem, but they never did anything!
I still can't watch my movies! This is absolutely terrible, wasted my money on something that I can't even use!

On July 14, 2017 had the exact same experience as this complaint. Apparently service goes off without notice and customers with many purchased movies in their on line Cinemanow library are cut off from access without notice. We did contact Customer Service and were told after several emails they are having trouble with Ultraviolet and are "working to fix problem". When asked when it might be repaired they said "undetermined at this time." In final email related to Customer Service that this problem is very serious and they must fix it immediately. At that point they stopped all return emails. We have no access to 39 purchased movies as of [protected]. It may come back on line but we have no ability to call them. Your only access to Customer Service is by email. They have to be more reliable and responsive to these delays and defaults in service.

CinemaNow Theft

I had bought and paid for 13 movies and rented 6 movies starting in 11/2011 - 5/25/2012. i have been using the PlayStation 3 to order and watch the movies which has been good. untill i started to notice that movies have started to become "unavailable" now i have a total of 5 "unavailable" movies which i cant view anymore. I feel violated and victimized by there theft of my property people go to jail for things like this? i have called ther customer support and was told that they sometimes do this to make more space for new movies and i came back and stated these are new releases like "the Hang Over Part II", "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" to name some. I had gone though my credit card statements and came up with a total of $75.00 worth of products and i had looked up the laws and when some one comes in your home and steals your property it is a violent felony with a term of 2 to 7 years flat with 5 years Post Release supervision. I will be calling there company this morning and asking for a full refund of charges I have used for there company or at lest the movies they came into my house and took them with out notifying me in any way. Call me and leave me a massage on what you would do? thanks and Please everyone stay away from BestBuy cause Cinema Now is and affiliate of there there's and condone there practice.. what a PR Nightmare this could be for them
Note: Think of it this way there is a Factory recall on some Ford vehicles for safety you as a customer should be notified Right? not wake up somew morninig ready to go to work and your Brand New Ford is missing ? I ask what would you do? when they try to tell you sometimes this happens but you will get it back later in time as that is what they told me?

CinemaNow Unauthorized charges

I had an unauthorized charge recently on my bank account and I have tried to contact this company by email and by phone which was IMPOSSIBLE. I would never go through this company.

I also tried to sign in to the account to delete my credit card information that they somehow got a hold of and of course that is not possible through the website either. I'm afraid my only option is to call my bank and cancel my credit card which is very inconvenient since I pay most of my bills this way. I also will not be able to recoup the 29.95 that they already took.

I had hundreds if not a thousand dollars worth of movies gone no explanation I'm pissed what there doing is fraud and theft I want my money back

I had the same thing happen to me with the Canadian version of CinemaNow. I purchased Les Miserables on Bluray and it came with Ultraviolet plus an additional digital copy in which I selected CinemaNow. I entered in the redemption code and I received the movie just fine, but much to my surprise I got an email saying that the movie was charged to my credit card. There was no indication whatsoever when I was redeeming my code, that I would have to pay an additional charge for a movie that I had already purchased.
