This company should be terminated

I did the free credit report on line, and know my credit card is being billed $12.00 a month. This is a total scam. Mis-informing the American People. This service was a one time free service and now my credit card is being charged. This company should be terminated.

I never looked at my credit report through this company and some how they got my bank information and are charging me $12.95.

I signed up for triple advantage credit card report through (freecreditreport.com) after watching several commercials on TV. I signed up for the free trial and forgot about the trial. Well it recurred 1 month and I got charged for 1 month of, $12.95. No biggie I tried to cancel the account by calling 877-4816825, and according to the rep, the account was canceled. Well after couple months later, I realized it never got cancelled! I call the same number 877-4816825 but it was always busy or gave me message saying there was no one there. I managed to get the number of the parent company, consumer info of 1-888-888-8553. According to the rep of this number, I did call the previous rep before, but I never cancelled the account. She said according to the record, I wanted to continue the service. What the hell!? why would i call the rep just to say I want to continue the service??? Well this time she assured the account is cancel and she even gave me a reference number, and said I will get a confirmation email. Overall I got charged 12.95 five times for getting to view my "free credit report" once.

To anyone else in this situation. I just got off the phone once again with this supposed company to cancel yet again. Got the same drone on of excuses and reasons. Kept pushing was told i could get 2 months refund instead of 8. I said no and pushed for supervisor. Put on hold. Same person came back and said she spoke with supervisor and i could get full refund. I refused to spend anymore time than i already have and she could put me back on hold again until a supervisor came available. Unbelievably with 3 minutes one did and i was offered 7 months.I took it to be rid of this lousy excuse for a company but will make sure to monitor my refund within 7 - to days.I was not very friendly and kept referring to the many, many people making the same complaint and that i would call the BBB and my state senator etc.

I too have been scammed by the freecreditreport.com..I looked at my bank account and have TWO 12.95 charges on there!! I was like wth!! It almost over drew my account!!! I called the number I got from this complaint board and got the man's name and ident and he assured me it was canceled and I'd be getting a refund..you can bet that I will follow up and make sure that this is actaully canceled and I will be checking for my refund..if I dont get it..oh boy..heads will fly..we should do something about them..call the better business bureau or something..maybe if everyone gets together there is something we can do. These people need to be OUT of business and STOP scamming people out of their money!! They are horrible!!! I dont even know how they got my account information!! And this is out of my BANK not a credit card!!

It looks like I'm not the only one... they have been taking money from my account since last year...

This company should be banned from the market!
