Took money out of my checking account unauthorized!

I have seen several complaints with this company I never authorized money to be taken out of checking account. I can't even find a phone # to call and find out what is going on.

Beware people!

Their number is 800-388-8725. They did they same thing with me, continuing a trial membership by charging my credit card account monthly even though I canceled my membership within the required thirty days. They also appeared as CIC Triple Advantage on my statements.

I just found this "credit report" charge on my credit card. I cut and pasted it into my browser, and found lots of hits about them!! Did you have problems getting it taken care of? Thanks for the phone number, btw. You say you "cancelled" ahead of time, I have never had any dealings with these people EVER!! How they got my card # I don't know.

I am having the same problem with this company. I thank Mitch Roper for providing the the telephone number. I am on the phone with them now. I hate this. They are thieves. Just so you know they are from www.freecreditreport.com. Apparently even if you cancel within the 30 day trial period they keep your information and charge you whenever they feel like it. I have a credit card hold on my checking account for $12.95.!! BEWARE!!!

I also got ripped off on a 30 day trial at www.freecreditreport.com. We called and cancelled before the 30 days and got charged anyway. I called and complained they said we had NOT called to cancel and that they would be charging us anyway. PERIOD!!

The US Attorney General needs to intervene with this company!!!

I guess i'm joining a large poplulation of victims here....i called the 800-388-8725 number provided above by mitch - thanks - they admitted to be connected with freecreditreport.com this is terrible to take advantage of consumers this way! I cancelled the membership, but i'm filing a dispute with my bank!

I was just checking my account and of course balance was not what it suppose to be so I just thought that the bank just added wrong (not) becuase it was saying that I had less but wasnt showing what was took out so I call the bank and they tell me that there was 12.95 took for a credit report and what was so bad I havent even gotten a report so yes these folks got the wrong one I want my money back and if they take anymore money Im going to slap a suit on them, Ive read some of the comments that you all say that they say when you call them well Im calling them tomorrow and they best not tell me that they are going to keep taking my money.

Thank you for the number. I called and cancelled. Just so others know they will try to convince you that since you already payed for the month that you should just use the services they provide. I think i said "No thank you, i would just like to cancel now" six or seven times during that phone call. Good luck to the rest of you.

I'm so upset. This is the third month they have taken 12.95 from my account. Thanks for the number I'm trying to cancel now, this is so wrong. A total scam!!! By the way the # is 800-388-8725, but I've been on hold for ever!!! Good luck.

I found a charge as well. I called 1-877-481-6826 and I spoke to a living person. He said I signed up for a one month "free" trial but I did not. He was friendly and cancelled it. I guess i'll have to wait until next month to see if the charges stop.

I cancelled, but then another charge appeared on my statement. I called back. The operator said that the previous operator accidentally reactivated my account immediately after she cancelled it. She agreed to cancel it again, but said that the additional charge was non-refundable. I insisted that she remove it, having already admitted it was a mistaken charge, but she refused. I demanded to speak to her supervisor. She put me on hold purportedly to talk to her supervisor. When she came back, she said her supervisor authorized her to remove the charge. I have a feeling the charge will not be removed and that additional charges will appear next month...

You need to cancel your bank card, my bank says they will probably sell your card number to somebody else. the bogus charges will never stop.

The same thing happened to me, but when I called to dispute it they said that they couldn't see the charge in their database, and that I am going to have to send in a copy of my account info as proof that the charge went through. This is just BS.

I called the number & cancelled after going through a lot of BS. My bank has suggested I also get a new check card to prevent this thieving company from doing it again. You can believe I'm going to the bank tomorrow to arrange for just that. I'm not convinced this outlaw group is not going to try to rob my account again.
