I ordered several outdoor kitchen appliances from this company back in April. The appliances were all cal-flame, a reputable company. I worked with Todd LoGiudice (which I am sure is pronounced low guidance) who was quite helpful in putting together a package deal for the appliances. Todd called me back several times to see if he could be of any more assistance. I was a little hesitant because $3000.00 was a lot of money for a grill and a few other items like fridge and side burner (especially in today's crappy economy). Anyways, everything seemed to be legit. The website was nice and well designed, complete with raving letters from satisfied customers. Best of all, it was advertised as BBB approved!
Well the first red flag should have come when I had to pay by check, instead of credit card like I wanted to. To make a long story short, it is now Aug 12. I never got any of my items, they won't give me a refund, if you can get a hold of anyone they totally give you the run around, if you ask a direct question...they always say you have to talk to Lisa (service manager). Well, I did talk to Lisa...about 10 times now (which represents about40-50 calls). She has no answers, no direct actions, and lies to you about what is being done to expedite your order. They never return your calls, leave you on hold until you hang up, etc.
At this point, I am talking to an attorney, which is costing me more money, when I am 99% sure these guys stole $3000.00 dollars from me with no intention of ever sending the products I ordered! Funny thing is...I check their website chooseoutdoorkitchens.com almost daily, and they are still updating it with the latest and greatest sales! I can not believe these guys have not been arrested yet! They are still taking peoples money. WARNING!!! If you are considering buying anything from these guys DON'T DO IT!
