Chili's Grill & Bar cold food

Although Chili's restaurants use the same recipies, the restaurant in Chicago Ridge serves COLD FOOD! After sending back the soup (because it was ice cold and you could see the grease floating on top) the french fries were also cold and you could tell they had been sitting around in the kitchen. I was afraid to send them back too --maybe the server would spit on the food. The salad was brown. The whole experience was awful and we will never return to that Chili's.

Respected Management of Chilies Restaurant
Complain Dep.

Three weeks ago my sister and I went to have dinner in your Muscat, Oman Chilies in Muscat City Center, , we’ve ordered 2 steaks, WELL DONE, , after some time our dinner came looking good, I started by a bit of mashed potato’s to find the potato peal is mashed with in, I took my first bit of steak tasted lovely and nice came to cut the second bit and blood started running, I’ve called the service they said sorry took the two plates to kitchen after 15 minutes our plates came back my sister couldn’t eat once she saw the blood, both of us were hungry yet she couldn’t eat but I tried once I cut again there was blood still I asked for the manager to see the steak he looked at it and said it was ok and this is their well done… I was quite upset from his remark since I’ve eaten in their before and it was well done any way he took it to the kitchen again… Here we ordered Molten chocolate cake and ate it… after 15 minutes my plate came looks like my potato’s was put in my plate by hand as well as the left of vegi’s and the steak… At this point I didn’t feel like eating and we asked to have them to go… we went home later my sister put her steak in micro wave to warm her dish up and I didn’t, , , Once we started cutting blood was still in both steaks, , , This happened on a Thursday night a peak day of the week end in Oman… Next morning I’ve called the restaurant and talked to the manager (his name is Ahmed) and I told him what happened last night, , , He apologized so many times as well as the service the night before, , , any way he took my number and promised to call at 5 pm, , , that was 3 weeks ago… Today I’ve talked to him again to see what happened and was so shocked to know that he had passed my complain to the General Manager who said he will take care of it… Honestly I got furies’ and demanded the cash for our 2 steaks only and very calmly he said I will tell my General Manager about that… So I told him I will be making this complain to the head office that cares about their reputation mainly…

My Demand if U kindly should do something about it since I can’t invite any guest to this place any more because I don’t trust them neither any of my sisters can imagine eating there… I wished that my email to you would’ve been a lovely thank you letter unfortunately it isn’t… Please take the proper action as soon as possible…

My partner and I first went to chilli's in Kuala Lumpur and thought the place was brilliant. The menu had lots of varieties, service was great and the food was awsome. When we got back to Australia we thought of opening our own but now i have read that Sydney could'nt keep up with the great reputation they have over there it has now stuffed it up for us.

It appears Chilis is a terrible restaurant no matter where they are. The Westmead restaurant in Sydney Australia has a terrible reputation for quality of cooking, taste of drinks, service and prices shown on final bill.
This particular restaurant was mentioned in parliament for its treatment of staff and the manner in which they were expected to work and the errors in calculating their wages.
Food often came not as ordered, often undercooked, often cold and raw in the middle. Management were often too off-hand about complaints.
So called 'free' meals were often added to the bill.
It was not unusual to have half the restaurant closed off yet have to wait up to an hour for the first course to be served.
Tables and surrounding area was often left with food scraps from previous diners. My overall impression of this restaurant is that they are lucky people didn't become very sick from the food. Perhaps it's more a comment on the Australian healthy constitution/lifestyle that people didn't become very ill.
Contacting Chilis USA indicated this companies overall attitude to its international customer base... couldn't really care less about complaints and people rarely lived up to their promise to get back to complainants.
Sad thing is, the food is pretty good on the very rare occasion they get their act together. In this restaurant no-one takes responsibility and its the customer who is seen as in the wrong for having the audacity to complain.

Chili's Grill & Bar Menu items

We have always considered chili's our #1 restaurant since our very first experience in bristol va. Several years ago. We were very excited to find a chili's was oponed in statesville nc. We travel all around in a group and everywhere we see a chili's we stop.
Our group of us recently visited your restaurant in statesville to find out that our favorite #1 waitress, star dickson was no longer workibg there. The waitress that did wait on us was very nice and courtious. The problem we had was that the items that were listed on the menu were not available for some unexplained reason which we didn't find out yntil after ordering.
We at that point called for the tab and left your restaurant and went to another restaurant in town. Needless to say we were all very dissapointed and are wondering if we will visit anymore of your restaurants anymore.
Just thought we needed to bring this to your attention.

Chili's Grill & Bar limes juggled and rolled on floor placed in drinks

I had the pleasure to be sitting at the bar last night, watching the two bartenders juggle large limes and drop them over and over onto the floor where they rolled across the floor and at least once outside of the back bar. Well, so much for that until the bartender picked them up, did not wash them, and cut them up for drinks for the unsuspecting guests. Did he realize that is a shortcut to getting someone very very sick. I called him on it, he and his manager later seemed to think that there was nothing wrong with it with their attitude. I called the restaurant the following morning to voice my concerns again to learn that the problem was never logged into their night log nor was it discussed at the morning meeting where according to the general manager it should have been done. I guess they think putting dirt into peoples drinks is no big deal. Warning...

Chili's Grill & Bar terrible food!

My husband and I have been going to Chili's at the Kahala Mall for 5 years now. The last 6 months the food quality has been progressively going downhill. On three occasions we sent our babyback rib meal back to be heated, it was served to us literally cold. On another occasion, our meal was returned to have the dressing served with the dressing on the side because the salad was floating in dressing. Today we ordered the Quesedilla Explosion salad and for the second time we've ordered that salad, and believe me it used to be one of our favorites, the salad was so salty and heavy in cayenne pepper, it was impossible to eat.

I think it's bad business to send back our meals every other time we visit this restaurant and resort to asking for the manager for resolution and we're seriously reconsidering going back or recommending it to our friends and family who come here to visit.

My granddaughter, age 23, worked at Chilis in Michigan for about 3 years. She wanted to move to Florida for warmer weather, and the Michigan Chilis kept trying to get her to stay but then called the Chilis in FL to highly recommend her. She filled out an application at one near Tampa, then was asked if she had filled out the personality profile. She had never had to do this before but went ahead and filled it out. It was then fed into a computer, and she was told she didn't fit their profile. Couldn't even have an interview. She has never been in trouble with the law, doesn't do drugs, has been self-supporting, has two years of college. Could it be because she is bi-racial?

I"m currently an employee for chili's in Mount Dora Florida. I LOVE MY JOB ! I'm a people person and just love people! My concern today is the way Michelle Boyle treats me. She is the rudiest most unprofessional person that I know! The way she treats people is unacceptable! I've complained to other manager's and even our General Manager it has only gotten worse. I would like to speak with someone about my concerns. Please contact me as soon as possible anyone! I'm an asset to your company and I would hate for you to lose me.

Chili's Grill & Bar bad service, cold food!

My friends and I visited the new Chilis Restaurant in Lancaster Ca at around 11:30 am today. After a 10 min wait to be seated the waitress did not return to take our order, We watched as she waited on several other tables near ours, as a matter of fact I had to get up from my seat and ask the server (which at the time was taking the order for a group that had come in much later than we had) if she was responsible for the service at our table. She said that she was sorry, and that she had forgotten about us. After we ordered the food arrived 20 minutes later. The food was cold. There was no silverware on the table. This was the worst service that I had every had. I would like to spoke to someone who cares.

As a server, maybe you should realize that the time you went to the restaurant was during a busy lunch hour. Its not your problem that the employees might have been really overwhelmed or understaffed. Its not your problem, but you should have some compassion. Your complaint sounds a bit inflated and I'm sure you threw in a bit of exaggeration. Going up to someone when they are at another table? Whether you were forgotten about or not, have some class. Sounds like you had a bad attitude. Take a look around a busy restaurant and realize you are not the only one there.

Chili's Grill & Bar poor service and management!

I went to the Chilis in Silsbee, TX today for my lunch break. I had called in my order to be picked up. I was told on the phone that my order would be ready within 15 minutes. I arrived at the rest. 18 minutes after I placed my order and the lady did not have it ready. The girl working the to go desk seemed as if she had a mental and congenital defect. She told me it would be another 5 minutes before my order would be ready, although this was after I had already paid. She made multiple odd facial and hand gestures at the cash register. The lady there behind me seemed to be having great difficulty with her as well once I stepped aside. She must have left out some type of bread off her order because she motioned something to the girl, then she walked back to the kitchen and retrieved a piece of toast with her BARE HAND and came back to the counter to put it into the girls bag. The customer grabbed her hand and told her no. We did ask for the manager though she never did come. This is the 3rd bad experience I have had at this particular Chilis since it has been opened. I did go to the Chilis in Longview last week and the service and food was great. I think the Chilis in Silsbee has a lot of potential but obviously has poor management. Please fix it since it is so close to my work and home.

wow you sound like one of the nastiest women to wait on I bet you complain everywhere you go and to say the girl had a mental defect, who do you think you are? The girl in togo does not cook your food you idiot! She can not control how fast the cooks get the food to her, so to say she has a mental defect because to had to wait a few extra minutes for th COOKS to make your food availabe just shows how ignorant you are! So you get online and make a huge complaint calling an employee basically retartded and stupid because of something out of her control, makes you the stupid one

Chili's Grill & Bar dirty tables, terrible service!

My wife and i ate at the chilis restaurant in chandler az on 2/14. Time of arrival was around 5:30 pm. Place was about 75% empty. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to take our order. My wife emphasized the fries must be crispy and don't worry if they come out burnt. I emphasized medium-well for my steak. It took about 20 minutes for our meal to arrive. The fries were soft and undercooked and my steak was somewhere between medium and medium rare. Non of the food was hot. We asked for our waiter several times while flagging down other waiters to get refills on our water and soda.our waiter finally shows up after most of what we could eat was eaten. He doesn't ask to refill our drinks and leaves to get the bill. While waiting for the bill i find out a sr. Discount is available and ask the hostess to let our waiter know we would like this discount. The bill arrives with no discount. Again we flag a waiter down to correct the bill. Our waiter returns and states someone else is doing the bill. Another waiter arrives again with no correction and states the restaurant will not rerun the bill and we should have asked for the sr. Discount when we arrived . We then stated we would balance this problem by leaving no tip. Within 2 minutes the new bill arrived with the discount. Still left no tip. Chilis must train their employees a lot more to compete.

Another issue was hygiene. When we arrived the hostess pedestal had a used tissue and a dirty table rag directly on top in plain view. The rag was used over and over again on several tables. Great way to transfer all soughts of bacteria particularly to and from children. It will take a long time before we ever consider going to another chilis.

Well maybe you old ### you shouldnt go to a resteraunt and act like you own the place. You old man Cant wait until you die and go to hell. FOR making your servers life hell. SO have fun burning and being tacky white or whatever kind of trash you are. WHO doesnt leave a tip Its a way people make there money they only get paid 4 dollers an hour. But your so high and mighty. I would love to go to your work (although you probably just live of the state) and just make your life ### for the day. Like i said BURN IN HELL!

Chili's Grill & Bar bugs in our drinks!

I went to Chilis in North Brunswick, NJ tonight for the first time and I was served my drinks with bugs, not once but TWICE. The manager came over to our table and apologized. Then for some reason he (Mat) explained why or how there might have been drinks in our bugs...as if that was relevant to us as the customer. After that whole weird apology and explanation, he didn't even discount our bill...very unprofessional. It makes me wonder how people like that obtain a manager position. It was definitely my first and last time at Chilis.

I go here a lot and never have any issues. They hired a girl whos been there a few months now. Everything was wrong including serving cold food. Ordered Prime Rib Tacos and the cheese wasn't even melted.

We went to your location on South 27th in Franklin Wisconsin. We were seated at the very front of the restaurant on June 3, 2017 at 220pm approximately and left after 250pm without anyone even taking our order.

Went to waterbury, ct chilis and on 2 separate occasions our drink came with gnats in it. Both times the waitress brushed it off like it was a usual thing that happened often. The waitress was very rude both times and took a long time to do anything. We had to ask two different times for utensils and napkins for half of our table.

The Chili's in Rome, Ga was ridiculously managed and very unkept. I noticed lots of servers sitting around yet floors and tables were extremely unkept. Lots of improvement in management needed.

I order food online at least once a week. This is the second time my food wasn't how it should be. There were not any tomatoes or chives on my Cajun Chicken Pasta. I was given a plate with noodles and chicken. I just want whoever is fixing the orders to get them correct next time.

They where out of skillet cookies for the past two weeks! My associates and I went to chili's with the sole intention of eating a delicious skillet cookie, we have been gravely disappointed. I would like to receive something for my trouble or I will not be going back to chili's again!

Sick and tired of you raising your prices every time you come out with a new menu. 2 for $20 then 2 for $22 now 2 for $25 is absolutely ridiculous. I have been a die hard Chili's fan for over 10 years and eat at a chili's once a week. I will not be back until you get off your high horse and bring prices back down.

Today (September 10th) me and my daughters had lunch and we all had different complaints about the food. Which is rare we usually love it.and tonight we all have stomach aches. First bad experience Not happy with it at this moment. The service was great though we loved Hasan. This was our first bad experience.

I ordered a Sirlion Avocado comes with mixed greens and a six ounce sirlion. Sirlion was cooked and was delicious,
the salad was brown,
the avocado sour.
This was at Chilis in Ponce Puerto Rico.

Chili's Grill & Bar unedible steak

Ordered the house sirloin...what a joke. The piece of meat that was delivered to my table looked like pot roast or pork of some kind. It had been cut through the middle and I could open the entire piece with my fork. I mentioned this to the server and got the "deer in the headlights" expression! No offer to replace or even address it with the cook. Needless to say I will not be visiting my neighbor chili's anytime soon.

Chili's Grill & Bar - the drink was terrible

Last week my husband and I ate dinner and had a mixed drink at Chili's, a newly opened restaurant in our area. Our food was good, but the drink was terrible...all the salt on the rim of my glass dissolved into the raspberry drink, making it taste terrible! Perhaps the rim should have been coated with sugar, not salt, as the drink was a sweet one.
