I found bruises on my daughter and filed a complaint with the police and with children and family services, i am going through a custody battle with the father at the present. they would not even check to see the bruises. I also filed a report to the police and he did not even try to see the bruises because it was dark outside, i met him at a gas station with a nurse friend of mine. She saw the bruises and so did my other daughters who are in their 20's.
Do not trust the children and family services, they do not do their jobs.
Also the state of Alabama says its okay to lie to get custody of a child, its whoever has the most money. I took care of my daughter for 2 years without one dime from the father and he also stold a vehicle of mine while i was pregnant with my daughter and he has lied about this also. Because of all the lies the father has told about me, they think i am some bad person. Anyone that knows me, knows that i do not do drugs and never had even in my high school days. This whole mess infuriates me, because i had to demand the father get a paternity test and demand for child support to help take care of my daughter. I also wrote the governor Rileyto do something about this and he said this would be looked into and never was. Do not raise your children in Alabama, those people there have no respect for civil rights of parents.
