Cazpurr Bengals/Linda Johnson review: Law Suit - Looses in Court 9

I wanted to add my story to some of these comment chains as well :) I'm usually Switzerland but I really wanted to say something. I have not purchased from her yet, but am planning on it sometime this year. I visited her cattery and was VERY impressed with how clean her house was. Even where she had most of the cats, there was no cat smell. Every one if her cats were in perfect health (clear eyes, healthy weight, etc) and very happy! The kittens were all handled extensively and very friendly. I was allowed to hold and pet her Asian leopard cat Zuko who is such a sweetheart. Her cats have everything from looks, health, and personality that everyone is looking for in the Bengal breed. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and very easy to be around. After talking to her it is so obvious how much she cares about the well being of her kittens and doesn't overcharge for them! I can't wait to get my kitten from her soon! ~ the Rarey Family

I'd recommend you both pursue this with TIBCS. File an ethics complaint with them...the more people that will take action and do something about it, will help other innocent buyers down the road.

same thing happened to me and probably with the same female kitten. Lucky no money was exchanged on my part... suppose to do a trade and las t minute she offered this kitten to a breeder to fulfill an amount she owed per court order...UNBELIEVABLE...Check out the cat on www.sumatrabengals.com Could that be the male? I, too, have had a HORRIBLE experience with you Linda...and this is JUST THE BEGINNING of my pursuit to destroy you. You backed out on our entire deal and said you would return my $800 IN FULL, and I have only received $500. I will CONTINUE to be in contact with the Better Business Bureau, TICA, TIBCS, Cat Hobbyist, Facebook, etc etc etc and every single connection you have Linda...not only have you played with our money and our heads, you created GREAT upset for my children who, after sitting in your cat room and seeing how I presented the two kittens to my daughter FOR HER BIRTHDAY just this past April after DRIVING down for the weekend and spending nearly another THOUSAND DOLLARS to visit you and see our contracted kittens, you turned around and pulled one cat then the other away from us OUT OF SHEER GREED after months of waiting and great anticipation. I have EVERY email exchange, and if I do not see that $300 come to me I promise that I will do everything in my power to see that you never sell another cat. EVERY MEANS POSSIBLE, I promise you, up to and including litigation.

Almost five years ago, when Teresa of TecSpot Bengal and Linda Johnson of Cazpurr were actually friends, I was searching for a new stud for my breeding program. So I contacted Linda Johnson of Cazpurr Bengals. She was very nice and informative when I was getting pricing on a new kitten, but then I wanted information being a newer breeder and all. Linda had beautiful cats that I was very interested in and I had the money to buy. But when I did not jump to buy she told Teresa of TecSpot Bengals to contact me because I was annoying her. She refused to give a newer breeder help and only wanted my money. Teresa contacted me and I spent over $3, 800 on kittens. Today Teresa is one of my best friends, I fly once a year from California to Ohio to visit her, and drool over her kittens…..

When I first contacted Linda, she told me that Teresa was her cousin. Linda game me this long story how they met and found out they are distant cousins. The very first time I talked to Teresa, she informed me that YOU two are not related at all. Linda, have you considered seeking counseling for you issues with Lying? Maybe a though?

Teresa has a 900 sq foot kitten room, 6 foot by 24 foot runs for her studs. She is a stay at home kitten mommy and her cats are in the best of care. I would eat off the floor of Teresa’s home. First off a “Pedophile” is an adult who is sexually attracted to young children. The word for that is NOT nasty….. Linda, your reference makes me sick….. I guess if Teresa was a child, we all would look at it as you raped her!

Second off “IF” you SO CALLED offered to pay Teresa on several occasions the $1, 500 then why don’t you pay her now and get the monkey off your back? If I offered to pay $1, 500 and was convinced a person wanted $5, 000 I would go to court to state my side and if I lost I would pay the $1, 500. So isn’t that a Lie, Linda if you are such a willing person?

Linda, One thing I will be honest about is that Teresa will NOT GO AWAY until you make things right. I wish more breeders were like Teresa, stand up for what is right. NASTY!, Breeders Like YOU lie, cheat, and steal from others knowing that they will gripe and just go away. Rest assured Teresa will NOT go anywhere until she knows “justice” has been served and paid for….

LINDA, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for blowing me off, I am so happy that I annoyed you. A breeder as yourself who wants money and refuses to guide a newer breed is NOT an Ethical breeder. You have giving me one on my very BEST friends, Teresa and I could not be more thankful to you for that.

I was there in court on the 28th and was witness to more than one lie told by Linda under oath. I have also read all her postings as Heather Hill that include the NASTY lies she has made up about Tecspot. And YES, I happily use the word NASTY when it comes to Linda Johnson. The definition for "NASTY", my dictionary states, "morally offensive; obscene; very unpleasant, mean, or harmful". That describes quite well the lies Linda Johnson of Cazpurr Bengals has told about Teresa.

I have dealt with Teresa for years and she goes above and beyond when it comes to being fair. Her cattery is clean, her cats are pampered and live in a beautiful home and are well cared for. The cats I have purchased from her always go to the vet for wellness checks when I get them & I have never had the first problem. I know which breeder I would NOT buy from & that would be Cazpurr. Anyone that will not keep their word on such a simple matter as a pick kitten, that if you think about it actually costs them nothing to give, won't keep their word on anything, including a signed contract. What a shame a breeder would not just do the right thing and allow another to pick from a litter like they agreed to.

Umm, Linda, the court didn't "agree" with you...at least that is what the judgment posted shows. The court actually disagreed with whatever you had done prior, which is why it found in favor of the plaintiff and ordered you to pay the plaintiff $1, 500. That is what courts do. Not sure why you would say you are offering to pay it and she is refusing...you have no choice but to pay once a court orders the judgment. And you pay thru the courts, so there is record of either paying or not paying, so the fact that you have not yet paid makes you in violation of the courts orders.
Also, the Teresa Caudell that posted this judgment states that you posted unbelievable things as an alias Heather Hill - which I have searched for and found. Shame on you to do something so malicious. I have bred dogs and KNOW what such a thing can do to a persons reputation to anyone reading such awful lies. And it is very obvious who is telling the truth, because your posting here, you signed in as Heather Hill. Sounds like the only one lying is you. I love postings like this on this board. They do help weed out bad breeders no matter what kind of pets they are breeding.

I want this board to know Teresa has made untrue claims about me.
I agreed to give Teresa 1, 500.00 in court. Terasa was asking for 5, 000.00 plus 685.00 of expenses.. All of which was denied… The court agreement was with me for the 1, 500.00 that I had been offering her and none of her 685.00 expenses were allowed. This is why you only see the one single paper that she puts up on the list for 1, 500.00
If the truth be known I tried on several occasions to give Teresa the 1, 500.00 and she has refused to take the 1, 500.00 from me …. Refusing becasue she told me she was going to get 5, 000.00 from me. and it did not happen. It will never happened.
The other things she has posted are all untrue but I will say this. If you think about it why would I bother to call her house and talk with her family. They know who she is. What she says makes no sense.. What would have been the point? But it does sound like something a very mad person would say about another person in anger. Right? or any of the other things she is saying all of which are very untrue.
Just one more point before I sign off I would like you to think about...If you read her post she uses words like nasty.. those type of words are words one would think to use against a pedophiler. Could you emagine buying a cat from this type of a person somone who thinks this way talks this way about others? A person who only posts a 1/2 truth! Would you want these type of things said about you when she is angry at you and she does not get her way?
Is this really the type of a breeder you would want to work with? Alot of the lists have pulled down her posts and have taken her off as a member. What does this say about her?

I was in court and also was witness to Linda Johnson lying. She has also refused to pay the judgment & stated that the courts orders mean nothing to her. If the judgment from a court of law means nothing to her, then a signed cat contract from her means nothing since she will not keep her word. Breeders like this should be avoided at all costs.
