CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Unpaid online loan

I was just contacted by arbitrator stating that they were contacting the prosecuting attorneyabout an online loan that was taken out in December of 2008. I was informed by the arbitrator that if I did not agree to pay restitution in the amount of $5, 000 dollars that my case it would be forwarded and I would have a warrant issued for my arrest. I explain to the arbitrator that it have never taken out a loan from cash net usa.he informed me that there was nothing he could do but have a warrant issued for my arrest. he stated that they had a no contact order against me contacting them when I asked him how I can contact them to get more information concerning this matter.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Money fraud scam

I
had a message on my phone that I was being investigated for malicious intent of bank fraud and soliciting money across state lines .A woman reported herself to be Alexa Lucas, Arbitration Dept.for State Fraud, Washington DC. The number left to return a call to is [protected]. When I returned the call she asked me when did I receive the message? I told her maybe yesterday, I wasn’t sure. Said she holds cases only 24-48 hours before it goes to the judges who rule on the cases. She asked me if I’d ever taken out a loan with CashnetUSA. I said yes for $200.00 in 2009. She claimed that I had taken out a $600.00 loan, 1.5 years ago and When CashnetUSA had tried to collect from my bank account, that I had had NSF. That I had been sent many e-mails and letters trying to get me to pay and that since I had not, It was now in the hands of an Attorney who is ready to submit the case to the Judge. And that I was being charged with the Felonies ;Malicious intent of Bank Fraud and Soliciting Money across State Lines- that charge was because CashnetUsa whom I supposedly took the loan out with is according to her located in Washington, DC. She stated that she was an arbitrator for Academy Bank and CashnetUSA and that she had to make this contact with me so she could submit a recommendation to the Attorneys in this case. That the case may be on the judges docket as we speak and that once he makes the ruling on this case, he will issue a warrant and I will be brought into jail 45 mins to an hour after case is decided. That I would or my family would have to post bail in order for me to not have to stay in jail and that bail would be $3, 500. She said I would have to stay in jail if no bail could be posted and I would have the charges brought upon me. and in this case, there is little doubt with all of the evidence they will submit: Electronic signatures, recorded calls etc. etc. Little doubt that I would be charged with these Felonies. She told me as she had looked at my records that she had found no arrests for anything like this and that she thought it unfortunate that it was being taken to this level since it was was probably some oversight of mine or some other fairly innocent reason on my part. She said now all she could do is take a statement from me about why I had not paid and she would then make her contact with the Attorney on this to see if they will make me any other offer. But that from her past experiences in these cases ( of which she handles cases for 20 States) If any offer IS made, In these procedures, I would have to most likely, need to provide them with about half of the $3, 500. I owed. And that now that I have shown that I did not pay the loan, No hardships will be given – Payments -except in whole . A debit, credit or Cashiers check would not be accepted. It would have to be money sent by one of those wiring services such as a MoneyGram, Western Union, JPay. and they would require it to be there today by 4pm or they would close arbitration and submit to courts by 5pm today. Once the money is received it would be considered an out of court settlement. No charges would go on my record . I told her that I was pretty sure I did not and could not have ever taken out a $600.00 loan because I am on disability and I would never have enough money to have a loan of that much. She got loud and mean and said she was not going to play that game with me, said she was not stupid. That I know I owe that money and now I’m trying to act like I don’t owe what evidence shows that I do, that she no longer was going to make a call to Attorney on my behalf. Now I was being brought up on charges of : Malicious Intent of Bank Fraud. because I had defrauded Academy Bank and the Federal Reserve for more than 6 months. I was told that was so, because Academy Bank who owns CashnetUSA had put up a bank collateral on the CashNet USA loan. Now Academy Bank filed a report of fraud with the Federal Reserve and that I owed an amount of $3, 500 plus legal fees. Plus the charges would be put on my record and I would be a felon. Social Security would be notified and I would never be able to receive disability SS again . That with this type of Felony, There is no way to dispute it with Social Security and win. I would be prosecuted for 3 times the amount owed plus 260.10% interest, plus legal fees . I was sure to have these charges put on me with all evidence against me. She seemed calmer and called me ‘honey’ saying she knew this must be hard for me and said she would go ahead and make a call to the Attorney to see if she could get a any sort of deal on this, she said she was going to do it right then and for me to stay on the line. When she came back on she told me that Attorneys were willing to accept $1100.00 to keep this out of court and to not report to Social Security and to drop charges. That the $1100.00 had to be there by 4 which is ending of business today or else it would be submitted to the court by 5 p.m.. She said that I needed to call her back within 1 hour if I was able to find a relative that could help me with the paying of this debt I owed. And that if I did not call her back within 45 minutes now, a federal Agent would be dispersed to pick me up and take me into custody in 45 minutes.
I looked up some stuff on internet after this call and found several scams exactly like this.

Without a doubt, none of this could be done. No one knows how much bail will be set at except the Presiding Judge. No one has ever gone to jail for not paying back a defaulted loan. I think this was a very clever collection agent at the very least, but more likely a scam artist. It is not unheard of that employees or former employees get a hold of names; etc. and then carryout these scams. The fact that no cashier checks, credit or debit cards would be accepted means they didn't want a paper trail and did not have a legitimate account. Anyone can pick up a wired transfer without showing ID. All they need to do is use a code word that was listed at the time of transfer. I am so sick of people trying to scam disabled people who have enough problems dealing with health issues let alone being bullied by these con artists. I often get calls like these telling me I won something and now all I do is report it to not only the FTC, but also the FCC. Some times if I am bored, I go along with them and when they think they have me reeled in I turn the tables. When they threaten me, I tell them the facts. One time I was told former President Clinton selected me to receive money...all I could do was laugh and hung up. These scam artists prey on your lack of knowledge and vunerability. My advice is to get strong and know your legal rights. Just because someone says they are from somewhere and throw around a few terms doesn't mean it is true. Turn the tables and ask them for their ID, who their supervisor is and the phone number, what is the name and address of the company/agency they work for. Remember, first this person said they worked for the government they said they were the mediator for the attorney for cashnet...listen to what is being said...scam artists always slip up and when they do, call them out on it. Chances are they will hang up and never call you again. Should they call again or someone else (they always work in groups) remind them that it didn't work the first time and you have reported them and the information to the FBI who really does have a task force for this and tell them not to call again. I hope this helped someone...stop being a victim.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Don't use this cr*p

Do not use this crap! I cancelled immediately!
Let me explain the repayment process... You borrow $850 from the lender that contacted me (Cashnet) I contacted them on about the 11th of the month all of the money was going to be due back on the 20th of the same month. However, the state of texas can do 4 extensions.
When you request an extension (1st request) you must pay the interest and fees of that loan $221 none of which goes to the initial $850... You get a new due date for all of the $850 again...
If you need another extension (2nd request) you must pay the interest and fees of that loan $221 none of which goes to the initial $850... You get a new due date for all of the $850 again...
If you need another extension (3rd request) you must pay the interest and fees of that loan $221 none of which goes to the initial $850... You get a new due date for all of the $850 again...
If you need another extension (4th request) you must pay the interest and fees of that loan $221 none of which goes to the initial $850... You get a new due date for all of the $850 again...
Each time if you wanted to pay on the principle you would have to pay the $221 + any additional money for the principal

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings If cash net usa wants to give you a payday loan don't do business with them at all

Cash Net USA gave my wife a $205 'payday advance' on her Social Security Disability check on Feb. 1st 2012. Within 9 days she was getting hammered with phone calls claiming they had either a loan or a grant or 'money' approved for her and waiting for her permission to disburse it. Of course it was just a wire fraud scam using Western Union and she fell for it. She wired money to the same 'company' 4 times for a total of $1140. Why am I naming Cash Net USA as part of this scam. My wife had a cell phone in her name for over a year without ever getting any 'cold' calls such as these until she clicked on the Cash Net USA advertisement and gave them all of her personal information. It is my opinion that once they make a 'payday advance' either the company or someone or more than one person is then selling off that contact information to the scammers. If Cash Net USA wants to give you a payday loan don't do business with them at all.

Thank you for letting other consumers such as myself know about this company advertised on TV. When I went to their Website today, it was "closed" down for whatever reason. I think you should contact the FBI in your area, as they can investigate and take necessary legal action to prevent others from being "ripped off"!

Hey Davife,

You were right to be concerned and not sign away your money without more details. From the details you gave, it sounds like this phone call isn't coming from us here at CashNetUSA, but rather a scam ring that has been using our name.

Cash America International, Inc. and its subsidiaries (CashNetUSA, Cash America, Cashland, Payday Advance and SuperPawn) along with many other lenders have been targeted by these unknown and illegal organizations that are making fraudulent debt collections calls and referencing our company’s name.

Please note:

· These calls are not being made by us or anyone affiliated with us.

· The Cash America family of companies values all of its customers, always obeys all collection laws and is working directly with federal and state authorities to stop these fraudsters.

· If you have been contacted by a suspected fake collector, you can help us by calling us to complete a short incident report

Please follow these next steps to recognize when a fake collector calls and the next steps you should take in this situation.

Recognizing Fake Collectors
A collector may be fraudulent if:

You have never received a loan from CashNetUSA, Payday Advance, Cashland, Cash America or SuperPawn.
You received a loan with one of our businesses, but paid it back in full.
The caller is unwilling to provide payment history information or proof of a loan agreement.
The caller threatens violence or uses foul language.
The caller threatens arrest or other criminal action or claims they are members of law enforcement including police officers or FBI agents.
The caller has a strong foreign accent and speaks English poorly

If you receive a Fraudulent Collector Call
· Please be aware that the fake collectors may have a lot of real information about you. Typically, they received this information from a fake website that was set up to steal personal information.
· Do not give out or confirm any personal information to the callers unless they are able to proof they are legitimate by providing you with loan contract or payment history information.
· Tell them that you will not to make any payments or give out any personal information unless the details of the original loan can be confirmed.
· It is OK to hang up on abusive or threatening debt collectors
· Unfortunately, because we are in no way associated with these companies, we are unable to stop them from making the calls.

FILE A REPORT IMMEDIATELY
We take the information you provide and work with Law Enforcement to track down these illegal companies.

If you are a current or former CashNetUSA customer or have never taken out a loan with CashNetUSA or any of its affiliates, please call us at [protected] to file an incident report.

If you are a current Cash America, Payday Advance, Cashland or SuperPawn customer, please contact the customer service number located on your loan documentation to file an incident report

Filing a report matters!

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Harassment

On 9/20/11 I retrieved a message off of my cellular phone from a man with a very heavy Indian accent named Brian West stating that I needed to contact him urgently and that this was in regards to a legal matter that is pending against me and that if I wanted to save myself having the legal matter pursued that I needed to give him a call at [protected]. The call was very concerning because I could not understand what this could be in reference to on my behalf, so I called the number and found it very strange with this voice recording came on immediately stating that this call may be monitored for quality purposes and then the phone just rings, no one ever picks up. So then I thought to myself this must be some kind of scam. The very next day while at work I receive a telephone call again from this same man with the very heavy Indian accent telling me that the call was in reference to a pay day loan that I had allegedly received and did not pay back. I stated to him that I did not know what he was talking about and asked that he give me the name of the company, he was reluctant and keep repeating that I needed to statisfy this debt otherwise they would be taking me to court on Fraudulent charges. I continued to tell him that I don't know what he is talking about and that he must be mistaken, that when he repeated the last four digits of my social security number, and asked me was he correct. However, I would not confirm this information. He stated that I needed to proceed with payment otherwise I would be charge with fraud. I told him that I believe that this is a scam. He be came very aggressive and rude towards me, I ask to speak to a supervisor, he put me on hold and this other fool came on the line claiming to be a man by the name of Raymond Scott. Raymond Scott too began to say to me that I had taken out a pay day loan and had not paid it back, I asked him to tell me when did I allegedly receive this pay day loan? He stated that it was back in November of 2010, he refused to give me an exact date. I then asked him for the companies name and He stated that he is from Cash Net USA. I then told him that I have never done business with Cash Net USA and that I really believe that this is a scam. He too became very rude and disrespect over the phone and accused me of trying to get away with stealing money. I asked him what the alleged amount that I supposedly owed is, he stated that I had received $300.00 but now with late charges and other fees, I would now have to pay $611.00. I asked him to repeat the amount, and he did. I knew again that this is clearly a scam. I then asked him why am I receiving a telephone call almost a year later about this matter, he claims they have tried to reach both by email and US Postal Mail services (which is a bunch of BS). I told him that I never received any thing from his company in regards to this matter and I asked that I receive an official notice from his company regarding this matter, He then stated to me that they would not be sending out anything else to me and that they would be contacting my place of employment to have my wages garnished. Before hanging up on him, I told him what he could do with himself . Once off the phone with this scam artist I contacted my bank to inform them of what is going on, I also had them track my account back to November of 2010 and was told that nothing has ever hit my account in the amount of $300.00 from Cash Net USA. I also spoke to my payroll department about the threat of garnishment and was assured that my wages would never be touched in that manner. The following day while at work on 9/22/11 the same man Brain West continue to harass me at work along with my co-workers. He was rude and disrespectful towards every one. On his last attempt to harass me I informed him that I would be filing a complaint with FBI. He has not called back as of yet. Please be ware and be careful we have sharks out here who are hungry and willing to scam innocent people out of their money. These people are heart less and prey on vulnerable people.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings They will fraudulently try to collect non existent debts as well as debts that are no longer from what I have read on the internet

I have received several calls from people claiming to be officers calling to inform me of a lawsuit that has been filed opposed to my name and SS# for an internet loan from CASHnetUSA. All of the calls come from FL, WA. or NY and all from foreigners that don't speak English well enough to know them. I have contacted a couple back afater several calls were made and requested they send a certified letter from a lawyer to my home address as well as email me for which they all have my email from the internet. All have responded they cannot do that as it is illegal to send me written notification. All have claimed to be officers of the court or work with the Attny General, or American Law Dept or Dept of Crime & Investigations. They refuse to give me an email address to contact them. When I call the #s they give I request for the person who called me Officer Charlie Brown, Officer Shawn Williams, Officer Jess Orlando and the list goes on but when I am transferred to that person it is the same person who transferred me. They state I or my lawyer need to contact them to settle a lawsuit opposed to my name & SS# and if I they don't hear from me they can only wish me excellent luck and god bless as the consequences are on me. They refuse to contact me in writing or stop calling about a fictitious loan that was never paid to me to start with. In fact was rejected for the funds for one reason or another. They did but seel this info to these people for scam purposes. I am not liable for paying a debt I do not owe nor will I tolerate being harassed at work or anywhere else. I have had a couple of these "officers" tell me they will send out an officer to have me arrested for committing a crime. I have reported them to the Attorney General, The Federal Crime Investigations Board, The superior Business Bureau, as well as my local police dept just so they know this problem exists. CASHnetUSA is not an up&up outfit as they will take your information sell it illegally as I know when I tried to apply I specifically marked that I do not want them to share my info with their other companies but they did so anyway. They will fraudulently try to collect non existent debts as well as debts that are no longer from what I have read on the internet.

THIS IS A FRAUD CLAIM A SCAM CLAIM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY!

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings claiming I took out loan

i was expecting a money transfer from someone and checked my account with my bank. I went and took out money of $ 200.00, and later found out it was from cash net. They have called me harassing me, and said they gave email address which isn't even isn't mine, so they sent me a letter regarding the account and says they have my signiture, for one i never signed for anything what so ever and i have no idea what g-mail is. I do not buy or get anything over the interest what so ever, so as the results I do not feel I should have to pay for something I did not get. So I would appreciate that the harassements stops.

Thank you

July 30 - A law firm for Cash Net USA called me 18 times after I told them I could pay them $100 on August 15, and $100 a month until the $900 balance is paid in full. These are all the numbers they used. They ARE from Cash Net because they had my SS#, Checking Account number, etc. They called my bank and pretended to be me and tried to authorize a payment! My bank called me immediately and put a red flag warning on my account.

This just happened to me! The person had very poor communication and knew my name (maiden name and previous home address). When I pushed back on him as to how he gained my contact information, he hung up on me. He threatened a lawsuit.

Hi Texas tornado,

As an employee of CashNetUSA, I can tell you that what you’re experiencing sounds like a debt collection scam and is NOT coming from CashNetUSA. The phone numbers you listed are not phone numbers owned or operated by us. Please call 888.801.9075 to speak with a CashNetUSA fraud team member and provide us with the details of the incident that we can share with authorities. Our in-house collectors follow strict policies and procedures, industry best practices, and comply with the law, one of the reasons why our customer satisfaction ratings are so high.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Big problem!

I recieved a letter from PN Financial saying that I owe CashNet USA nearly $2, 000. I have never borrowed a loan from them! I checked with my credit union and they went back over a year on my bank statements and there is NOTHING indicating I borrowed that money. And they are getting ready to sue me if I don't pay the money.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Fraud

I took out a payday loan with this company last fall, 2010, it was paid. Several weeks ago I recieved a phone call at work (this was odd because I work for a different company then when I took out the loan) saying I had to fax over a document to Officer Stan Marshall authorizing a payment of $475. They were so rude and had me so upset I didn't even think about the company name so I faxed over the "required" information and authorized a payment from my debit card. However since that time I have been told by multiple parties that this company is a scam and has many, many complaints against them. I have placed a stop payment so they won't be able to obtain any funds from my account but I still wanted to write this so others could avoid being scamed by Cash Net USA! Oh yes and I have tried reaching them through 4 different numbers and none of them connect you to anything but voice mail.

CashNetUsa is a complete rip off, whatever you do, never never go in business with them. I borrowed $500.00, meant to be a short term loan, in the space of less than 45 days they charged me over 350.00 in interest and fees. I paid them off, and learned a lesson the hard way, but never never use these people, you would be better off using a pay day loan.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Debt scam

I have received a few phone calls from a man (didn't get his name) with a heavy Indian/Pakistan accent stating that I have a lawsuit against me for owing money from CashNet. First of all, I do not have an open loan account with CashNet. I do have a current loan with a different company that I am currently paying for. Second of all, if there is a lawsuit against me, I advised this man to send the information to my home address (without providing him my real address). If there really is a lawsuit against me, they should know where to send the information to as far as my address. These people keep leaving messages on my work phone from a callback number "0" and keeps harrassing me. I got a similar phone call scam last year and almost fell for it.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Loan scam

I got a message on my home phone on Friday May 22nd, and then a follow up call at the same number on Memorial Day, May 25, 2009. Both calls from the same woman with very thick accent. She said it was in regards to my arrest the following day due to an affadavit she had in front of her for non-repayment of funds from a payday loan I had recieved. When pressed as to when I supposedly got this money she stated only '2008'. When I told her I had never in my life recieved a payday loan, she proceeded to rattle off all my personal info, including my social and bank account number, my mothers name, my former supervisors name, and my former place of employment. I reiterated that I have never had a payday loan, and she transferred me to her supervisor, Ryan, who also had a very heavy accent and who was very nasty. When I pressed him he said he was with the Legal Division of CashNet USA. He also could not give me a specific date of when I 'recieved' this money, or a legal entitiy that was going to arrest me the following day. He then hung up on me. I did apply for a payday loan in December 2008, but refused to take the loan. I checked my bank statements to make sure there was nothing but payroll deposits. I checked my credit report to make sure nothing was there. And I filed a complaint with the attorney General of Florida. I will contact my bank tomorrow just in case. I see there are over 100 complaints listed on this site alone! They will not take advantage of me!

THis is exactly what is happening to me. I tried calling the police because the guy was harrassing me at work. There was nothing the police would do, except to say block the number and file a report. But they just call from different numbers, they'd hang up, then call again!

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings They tried to scam me

I applied for a payday loan, I recieved the loan and paid it back, 5 months after paying back the loan, I was contacted by a so-called attorney for CashNet USA saying that I still owed them money. First off, I had to listen to the message about 12 times b4 I could understand what the man (Darryl Simms ) as he claimed was saying.I told Darryl that I could provide proof that I paid back this loan.He then said to me, he doesn't care what proof I think I have, if I didn't pay the money today, I should contact my lawyer immediately..To add injury to insult he even went as far as to say May GOD help me, because I had no idea what I was in for. I could do nothing but laugh ! In fact my laughter mad him angry..I said to him take me to court if you ! hahaha, I have bank documents ! He said that the police would be at my job in the morning to arrest me nad again May GOD help me...and then he hung up... To no surprise to me, I wasn't arrested the next day! Darryl had the nerve to call me around 3pm that day and say that he took mercy on me but if I did not pay TODAY..he couldn't stop what was going to happen next... Exuse my language but I told Darryl where he could get off at, and it wasn't nice! that was 1 month ago... I haven't heard from Darryl since ! I think it's sad the way these ppl prey on others...MAY GOD HELP THEM ! CashNetUsa (aka..CNU ) =SCAMMERS!

I have to say that SOMEone out there is doing exactly what this cashnet worker is saying. I applied on a few different sites and began getting calls but I hadn't gone any further in accepting or signing when suddenly some guy with very broken English called with the exact same kind of "collector" or authoritative kind of tone. I told him I had an emergency and had to hang up before he got too far into anything. But he was kinda sneeringly saying good luck and he wouldnt be able to do anything but said something like he wouldnt be able to stop what was going to happen. I have been seeing this same kind of thing popping up on a few truly legitimate looking loan company reviews and I also had my bank account attacked via EFT from a "CASHLOAN" at [protected] (something like that on the last 4). Several other people had this same thing happen with the same entry. First they deposit 15 cents in three increments, then remove it and then about one week later they deduct $30. A couple of people have had more taken but most only the 30. Most people say the cadh loan thing but a few say another term. So SOMEone is misrepresenting legit places and trying and managig to fraud many people and they better be caught soon. Just an absolute disGUSTING thing for anyome to do. I even saw one comment from someone who used to work for one of the people and they said they made bank while working there. Another person produced somemphoney webpage saying the $30 was a processing fee. At no time did I sign one ANYTHING saying there would be a 30 fee and I DO take the time to read every word. There is one company who I DONT find any poor reviews about that just about had my loan go thru and were rushing me to sign it but apparemtly I was taking too long so wach time it would make me "re-apply.". Thus was a huge red flag to me although I had spoken to a rep and thy seemed quite legit. But in that company's loan docs there was a special paragraph seperater from the actual repayment part that point blank said they could randomly take money or drafts out of any of my checking accounts at will. SECOND red flag cuz the guy said for me not to worry they would only take out the loan and interest fees. THIRD red flag was the signature date in the docs dated the month prior as I had initaited but didnt follow through. I even emailed the guy back explaining that I had these concerns and that I hadnt found any poor reviewz on them but had others and had my bank acct dinged so I couldnt follow thru. I was essentially inviting him to reply to speak of their legitimacy--No reply back, which told me that they appafently were'nt so legitimate afterall! Their name was GuaranteedCashNow. He had mentione other companies but again, i wasnt about to sign anything that had the wrong date and if the loan was approved once, it should continue without any need to completely reapply. That yells me they might attempt yo say that you did the extension of the loan no matter what and each time reapplying would possibly subject one to multiple loan applications they could attempt to collect on. I read thru all 18 pages and printed out other companies loan docs and they do NOT have this extra paragraph I am referring to. I dont know if I habe a copy or not, but I beliebe I do. I will attempt to post it later. Once I get my internet up as I am on my iphone now.

Thanks to the cadsnet worker for all the info as I need to turn all my stuff in and still need an additional loan. People really do need to take the time to read EVERYTHING before signing anythng--especially electronically! And print copies of everything. I feel confident I can tell who os legit now and who isnt.
I wish everyone well with all their pursuits that bring harm to none but those who have harmed.

:-)

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Fraud/unauthorized bank drafts

Earlier this year I took out a payday loan with this company. On 04/12/2011 I received an email from my bank that a debit of $253.00 had been returned that was sent by CashNet USA. I then received an email 24 hours later stating they were going to take out the same amount on 04/15/2011 because the first one did not go through. At this time I called the company and told them the money WOULD NOT be available at that time and that I needed more time to come up with the funds. The operator told me she could move the transaction out to 04/19/2011 (which she didn't do) and I received another email that said the funds would be coming out on 04/15/2011. I called and again told them the funds WOULD NOT be available and the women told me that she could not change or cancel this transaction. Notice that there are only 3 business days between the first attempt and the second attempt. I faxed and emailed the company a "Cease and Desist" order and specifically stated several times that they are NOT AUTHORIZED to withdraw any funds from any of my accounts. The company refused to acknowledge acceptance of this and sent a copy of my contract stating they could do what they wanted and I couldn't do anything about it.

The company in fact CHANGED THE TRANSACTION TO FORCE THE TRANSACTION TO GO THROUGH as an "Internet Payment" instead of an AHC Transaction. On 04/15/2011 the transaction did in fact go through charging two amounts of $117.50 to come from my account plus a charge of $70.00 for NSF charges in addition to the NSF from Monday. Again on 04/22/2011 the company had tried to put through an additional transaction of $61.50 which declined and was charged additional NSF charges.

The way this company conducts business is illegal and NOT in accordance with my Alabama State Law concerning payday loans. I have offered to pay the loan in accordance with Alabama Law - 4 equal monthly payments. This company refused to follow the law or acknowledge my rights as a customer.

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Rip off

I took out a payday loan in the amount of $400.00 with a repayment amount of $503.42, according to both their website and an email they sent me. The website asked me when my next 2 paydays were so I gave that information. When the first payday came around, they debited my account the interest payment of $103.42 as I expected. When the 2nd payday came around, I expected them to debit my account the original $400.00 but instead they took $504.79.
When I contacted them about the amount they took, they said I agreed to a deferred payment and that they could charge me interest again and that is what the additional fee was. Their website and the email I received were both misleading and I asked for my money back but they said what they did was legal. They ripped me off by misleading me!

CashNetUSA / CNU Online Holdings Harassing phone calls/threats of arrest

Get calls every day that I owe cashnetusa and they are the attorney and a lawsuit is lodged against me. They threaten that a warrant will be issued either at home or work and I would lose my job, etc. I called a legitiment collection agency and here is what their man said. If the call is legit, they will not threaten you with an arrest warrant, this would be considered a civil matter no one goes to prison because they are moneyless. Further, a legit company will work with you anyway they can with what you can afford. Then a second man called me today claiming to be a police officer (Concerning the same matter above) I told him to hang on just a minute while I pulled his number up on google to check if it was listed under scam numbers — the guy couldn't hang up fast enough. Try using this tactic when someone calls, if they're legit they'll wait otherwise they'll hang up quickly.

My biggest concern is: why has no one tried to locate these guys doing these bogus scams and put them away for a time in the bar hotel? I believe if enough people who have received these calls---the ones where you are threatened with jail, etc., filed suit against Cash Net USA and others these guys claim to be representing, Cash Net and these other companies would get really busy finding these ### and putting them away for a while. Until the companies are held accountable, these guys will simply continue to do what they're doing. My info got into their hands because CashNet's security was inefficient. Yours too.
