This company has ripped enough people with their false promises of rebates if you wait 3 years after a house, car, or other large purchase. I just got rejected because I didnt send in my claim in the "7-day" period. This is false, since I have my certified postal receipt showing an actual date stamp. Anyhow, those of you reading this probably got rejected for something, either your utulity bill didnt show your correct name, or you didnt send in your original birth certificate. I know you did. ITPA knows you did. They just look for excuses not to pay you your reward that you patiently waited 3 years (and a week) for. Anyhow, I want to take these guys to court. I've read that David Maloy is the CEO. Is this true? And is small claims jurisdiction in Irving TX to sue? Or where I received the rebate initially (Colorado Springs)? And is ITPA really a third party with no interest? I was just irked with my rejection letter. All decisions final and no appeals! What a load of crap! If they had genuine consumer interest in mind, they would have an appeals systems, as all humans err. It just seems as though to many people are not receiving rebates from this company to put the "err" on the consumer side. It seems more "scam" than "err".

Ok, so I want to sue. If they wont take phone calls, and wont rethink their decision, then what choice do I have? I also want my original birth certificate back! I ordered it from California just for this rebate! They had the nerve to keep that too!

David Maloy (Cash Rewards Inc) is trying to file bankruptcy. Meeting on July 21st, 2009 in the Dallas Bankruptcy Clerk's Office. I believe this is the correct address:

Mail in your information and a copy of your rewards certificate and ask to be on the dispursement list ASAP! Include your contact information as well.Dont worry if you miss the deadline, you can simply request a late request in plain english, by mail. I was told by the office they can be lenient in this regard, especially if you just heard about this filing.

PS does anyone have a link to his Facebook page? I would be interested in seeing it from what I have heard...

Just went through this today! After 3 years of gathering and keeping all of the required documentation, and sending it into ITPA during the right 7 day period for my $10, 000 certificate, the package came back unopened "Return To Sender", "Reason: Other". Which means that the person getting the certified mail notice from the PO Box in Strongsville, OH went to the counter and refused the package without even opening it.

I did a Better Business Bureau lookup on this company and wasn't pleased

Then, via some more internet Searches, I discoverd that ITPA aka Cash Rewards run by David Maloy filed for Bankruptcy on June 10, 2009.

The Trustees name is Dianne G Reed, 972-938-7334. Cash Rewards meeting for all the creditors is on July 21, 2009, 1100 Commerce St. Room 524 in Dallas, Tx. at office of US Trustees.

I just received my certified envelope back also. The reason was marked other. I contacted the realtor that I dealt with originally and was informed that the company went bankrupt. Nice after waiting the alotted time period the company goes "poof"!

I also had a cash rewards that was due to me, $10, 000, from a real estate transaction, however, last year a response was sent back with a refusal letter saying I didnt send proper proof of identification (which of course I did). Is anyone getting any where with trying to redeem the monies owed to them? I would love to know - and thank you all for posting - this information has been helpful and also in learning I wasnt alone in this.
