I signed up for cashcrate and did several of their so called surveys. Most of them were not surveys but credit card offers or free trials where you had to give up your credit card number. The site said that you could cancel your free trials and still get paid for they survey. This is not true. You have to complete the service. Also I filled one out for Netflix where it said it would not charge your card until your free trial is over. NOT TRUE. The same day they debited my card for the amount of the service. The website said it would not charge the card until after the Free trial. BEWARE. Basically all you will wind up with is an INBOX full of SPAM.

I agree with this complaint, I signed up with cashcrate a week ago, and although many people claim it pays, it's just not worth it. When filling out the surveys you have to give away personal information, such as phone number and birth date, in order to get paid. It's been a while since I have used that dam site, and I am still getting calls from different companies "regarding a survey I filled out." They just won't stop bothering me, they call 24/7. If I knew this was going to happen I would have never signed up with that stupid site.

I am a 15 year old kid who uses the site. It's not that hard, you don't actually have to put your real phone number or DOB. All you are supposed to do is get to the "Final Steps" page. You don't even have to have a credit card. When the so-called "special offers" appears, just click them and open them in a new browser making sure that you have cookies enabled. Once you are done, you might (10%) get a confirmation e-mail fromt the "survey" you just completed to make sure that you have provided them with accurate information. They never call you (use a fake number). So far I have gotten about $55 cash and $1o Amazon.com money.

I seriously doubt the people who say they make money. I did cash crate for 2 months and got over a certain amount and received one check which turned out to be fraudalent.
I have had 3 friends use the service--NONE made any money..Of course if you go to the website you will find people who sware they made money..bizarre..
yes the inbox is full of spam..
and the surveys say you must have accurate info mean it..give them a false number and it doesnt register that you did it..i got a few subscriptions now that are billing me even though I thought I was getting a free sample..
other than that, if you dont do an offer it sometimes does not let you finish the survey--rendering your time pointless..

First I would like to say it is not what you do but how to do it.I watched some vids on youtube and they were very helpful. When doing surveys with companies you def need roboform /greasemonkey.You NEVER give out your real phone number. And you use a email you do not mind getting thousands of spam messages from.I know you can make money from cashcrate and they approve free trials fast.I would def cancel memberships early and keep record for your cc if they do try to bill you, you can take action.Use a perpaid card you don't use often. But will you get rich off of cashcrate no especially if you are new. Most people with large checks have alot of referrals. It is just something to make extra money here is a link if you want to try it and see if it works for you.

I have been doing cash crate for almost a year now. I have received 4 checks and had problems cashing none of them. I take them to walmart, tell them its a payroll check and they run it through their machines, take thier 3.00$ and give me the rest.

Now I'm not making 1000s a month. But every little bit helps.
I have never done a trail offer.

Here is a link to my blog which do explain a lot of the concerns listed here. As well as some copies of my actual checks, if anyone wants to check it out before writing it off completely.

Let me looked Surprised Ms. Muneymom - I copied & pasted your blog information...And your blog DIDN'T come up!! I think that companies like Cash Crate create false users to post positive things about themselves to try & keep the public confused & on the fence...Because if we see 1 positive comment, then we usually rule out 2 negatives...They ask for your personal information because THEY make money by selling your personal information to telemarketing & third party companies...I have yet to find a legitimate "make money by working from home" company...Still searching though...Good Luck to all that are on the same quest as I...
