Carrington Mortgage Services - Unethical behavior

Original mortgage was with Chase. Perfect payment history but sold me anyway. After, there was absolutely no problem with Carrington until 2 days ago. Just so you know, this is a long story. Yet another phone call from them to offer, again, refinancing at a lower rate. No thanks, I'm good. Wait! We can save you $200 a month. Nope, can't afford closing costs. Well, he said, there's no free lunch. Right, no thanks. I hung up. He calls back and says no problem, no closing costs, we'll roll it into your mortgage. Ha! No thanks. He calls back, no closing costs and no costs rolled into your mortgage and a 3.25% rate. OK, what else can you give me? We'll have to check your credit (Red Flag). No thanks, I do not want a hard inquiry on my credit report. No problem, he said it's not a HARD inquiry, only checking to see if you missed any mortgage payments. Wait...Why don't you know that? It's with your company. Oh, no, he said we have to check with your previous holder. It won't affect your score at all. OK then, as long as it's Not a hard inquiry. Nope, it won't be, promise . A few minutes later I got an e-mail from Credit Karma. My score has changed. What? Bye-bye wonderful credit score. Poof! It's gone, just like that. Next day, I receive a package of refinance papers they want me to fill out. Really? You still sent me papers? Shredded that. Today's mail brought me a Statement Of Credit Denial, Termination Or Change: courtesy of guess who? The mortgage company. What the heck is this? It does state"Application withdrawn" but not who did the withdrawing. On the bottom, checked off, it indicates what Their decision was based on. Wait...Their decision? I believe I was the one that pulled the plug after ripping that refi officer a new one over the phone. I'm so sorry he says, I'm really, really sorry, but that should drop off your credit report in a month. Sure, not until 2018! Then it goes on with a whole list of reasons they say were provided by the credit reporting agencies. The only one that's true is "length of time accounts have been established". This statement sent by the mortgage company states: Too Many Consumer Finance Company Accounts. What? I don't have any with a balance, all are $0 owed and no late payments. Amount Owed On Revolving Accounts Is Too High. Really? Well someone's high all right. Not one of my accounts has a balance and all reflect my perfect payment history! Proportion Of Balances To Credit Limits Too High On Revolving Accounts. Again, no money owed for any revolving accounts, I've been a good girl. These are lies, plain and simple. Unbelievable. I had already filed disputes with the credit reporting agencies and now, the company is making this fiasco look like it's all my fault! I am not going down without a tooth and nail dog fight! Get this off my credit report and shame on you.
