Caribbean Cruise Line Cruise package

I purchased from a close friend of mine a package that she was not able to use for cruise through Caribbean cruise line. I paid $250 to her for the package then put another $800+ into this package. Someone brought to my attention that this was part of a big scam. I spoke with someone at this "company about getting a refund which they denied full refund but only partial. I am not interested in taking thjs trip at all after fully investigating this company and all the lawsuits they have against them as well as their Bbb rating. I am looking to be reimbursed for all the money I have put into this fraudulent vacation deal. If I am unable to get a resolution with this complaint I will then seek action against this company in form of a lawsuit.

Caribbean Cruise Line Office closed. Cannot redeem cruise

On 3-10-11 I spoke to a Jennifer in the Confirmation Dept to verify that I had received my reservation letter #BZ082712-090 under SHERRI KROEGER. She gave me a confirmation number KZ031011-087BRZ. I paid a $1000.00 for the "free" trip and upgrades
www.sherrikroeger.isonvacation.com
Login:KZ031011 password:66314
Trip was good thru 9/9/2012
On July 27, 2012 U received another call that my trip was about to expire and I must renew and upgrade so I paid another $1000.00
In 2014 ( I didn't write down the date) I received another call saying my Cruise was about to expire and I would lose everything. Since I had already paid $2000.00 I paid another $977.99 plus $99.00 for a trip to the Grand Bahamas ., rental car with $100 in gas vouchers, 3days/2nites in Ft Lauderdale, 3days in Lasvegas and 3days in Puerto Rico
That reservation #BZ072712-08OUEY
THIS WAS TO BE A LIFETIME RESERVATION
when I finally called to schedule the trip on 01-27-2017 then phone number has been disconnected and the internet is full of complaints about this being a scam!
I know I am a fool for paying all this money but I am 71 years old and that money means a lot to me. I have lost $3076.00 and have nothing for it!

Caribbean Cruise Line Cruse package needed to be refund.

I purchased the tour package of 2. I asked them to refund my money due to my job lost and could not afford to go to the vacation. They told me to sell this package to someone I know. I did not wanted to go through this hassle any ways. So I asked for the refund, and the reply was my package is expired and need to extended for another year by paying them another $80 per package. I request to cancel my vacation and refund my money but they told me the money is not refundable...! I am really frustrated. I don't know what to do? The package does not even mentioned about any expiration date. It looks like they want to keep my money without providing me any service. That's not how the business supposed to be! Please any one give me some guidance how to get my refund back.

My complaint is complicated but I'm going to try getting a refund since they are not honoring what I originally agreed on. I made our "purchase" in July 2015 and made monthly payments until January. I never received a voucher but when my husband and I decided to book our dates for our family of 6, they said it was only for two and I would have to purchase another package totaling more than $1200. They have already said they will not give me a refund but I'm still filing complaints with the better business beaureu and the Florida trade commission. Will post my success or failure either way. Have you had any luck with your refund?

Caribbean Cruise Line Sales Fraud

The travel agency is still at it ripping consumers off although they have thousands of BBB complaints and lawsuits. I am now one of many thousands that has joined the victim.

My trouble started in 2013 when I had the unfortunate pleasure of receiving a phone call from a well trained Caribbean Cruise Lines sales representative. The representative was extremely friendly and the sales pitch had me smiling from ear to ear I thought what a great vacation opportunity at a great price wow I’m out of here!

I explained to the sales rep my fear of purchasing pre paid vacations from programs they are mandatory and non-refundable. The representative assured me that the Caribbean Cruise Line had a very relaxed and open minded booking policy and that If I paid in full I would have (1) year to cancel my trip with no further obligations or consequences and that after a (1) year there would be just a minimal fee.

Well, fast forward a few months I decided that I would cancel this trip and get a refund. I called and as soon as I mentioned the purpose of my call I was put on hold and got the normal round around and disconnects. Finally, I was promised a call back from a supervisor after a couple of days with no call back from I decided to follow up.

After several failed attempts I had a conversation with a supervisor that informed me that the trip was non- refundable and had 3 choices; pay for an extension, loose my trip or go on the trip.

I paid on a vacation to Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando Fla. Included was a 2 night cruise to the Bahamas plus 2 other trips, bonus getaways to be taken later. Somehow they had me booked for the trip on Jan.30th, 2012. I didn't know this. I called about my vacation package just recently and was told it had been cancelled, by the cruise line. Caribbean Cruise Line Refusing to return refund

After reading a large number of complaints concerning the above company, I decided to cancel my trip or reservation. Now this company states that it will not return my deposit due to some taped message and their cancellation policy despite being told differnetly by a business agent that I could get my deposit back anytime, if I decide to cancel my reservation.

Caribbean Cruise Line Doesn't refund when it's their fault

Carribean Cruise Line offers packages when you order products such as Sensa etc. They offered me a carribean package and offered an additional Las Vegas hotel package for additional money. I purchased the package and was ready to take the Las Vegas portion of my vacation, gave the 60 Day advanced notice and was on my way right? WRONG. I had to pay an additional $50 to check in on a Friday. Not too bad, then the day I am to leave for my trip I call to confirm, guess what no reservation. I am to be in vegas in 4 hours and no room. The hotel on the strip that I paid for had no reservation for me customer service states that they were sorry but would find me a room mind you I'm enroute to the airport. The dump they found for me was a motel far away from the strip. I also had to pay again when I got to the second rate, no elevator dump at 2 A.M. I'm stuck. Customer servive was a joke. There was suppose to be a free shuttle to and from the airport we ended up spending a total of close to $100 on taxi fares. Thanks Carribean Cruise Line. Here's the kicker when i ask for a refund because they broke their end of the deal I was told it's non-refundable. What a joke!

Hi everyone,
I just read what you said above. I have the same situation right now as my husband paid them $935 with my credit card. I am so pissed when I
Talked to them and I also felt this was a scam. So, I called them
And asked for refund. She said I will get the refund in 5 days. But I don't know that it will be a full amount of 935 or not. I am still waiting. This thing is ###. People should be carefully with this company.

Caribbean Cruise Line cruise vacation purchase

After I made a purchase over the phone, I was told I was selected to get a special deal on a cruise vacation. I never even listen to those kinds of deals, but my family and I were wanting to try a cruise. I listened to it, asked questions, and it did not sound too bad. for $915.00 the four of us could have a couple of days in Ft. Lauderdale, cruise to the Bahamas, stay a couple of days come back to fla and stay in Orlando for a few more days with a rental car included. The only other charge I would incur she said, was $59.00 for each of my kids when I booked for port fees. Fair enough, I bought it last Feb. I just called 1/3/12 to book for 3/31 - 4/8/12. 1st they tell me the port fees are not $59.00, but $129 each, then they tell me I have to pay $50.00/day in the Bahamas for my son, and $20/day for my daughter because of extra person fees. I argued because the $915 was based on 4person travel. I asked to listen to the recording of my purchase, since they say they record calls. After 3 - 4 transfers they told me they could not do anything for me. I finally decided to book my travel, or loose my $915.00. after I book she lists off all the taxes I have to pay other than the above mentioned: $15/day in ft. lauderdale, $18.00/day in Bahamas, $24/day gratuity each person on the boat, maybe a fuel charge per person on the boat. That added up to at least $686 additional for this damd trip. Anyway, after I booked and she gives me all the itinerary info. she tells me I have to talk to Legal Dept (it took about 30 min to book) so they can go over everything with me. After being on hold for abt 5 min. she comes back and says I can't have the days I wanted (my kids spring break), because she made a mistake and the Bahamas Lucaya hotel is not available I have to pick other days, she wanted me to take my kids out of school for this trip. I also found out in this conversation that this is a Timeshare sale presentation, which we have to attend the first day in ft. lauderdale WHICH I WAS NEVER TOLD. DO NOT BUY THIS TRIP. DO NOT EVEN TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. IF THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS WAS A TIMESHARE PRESENTATION I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THIS! now I'm stuck with it and we can't travel when we wanted to. I WISH I COULD BRING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK!

I've also just been taken by this same company. Today, I filed a formal complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office along with BBB as this company is refusing to refund my money, I'm remaining optimistic they can help me! I only decided to cancel the vacation after recieving lie after lie after lie everytime I spoke with them. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there pursuing a class action against this company? If so, I'd be certainly willing to participate as they've taken me for nearly $1, 000.

Caribbean Cruise Line Refund

My Boyfriend was awarded a 2 day cruise for completing an online survey. He received a phone call from one of their representatives about the details of the cruise. He does not have a credit card, so he passed the phone to me because I was the credit card holder and wanted to hear the details of the trip myself. The sales rep told me that in order to receive this vacation, we had to pay a port fee for both of us, of $118. So i gave my approval and information. Afterward, the representative informed me that there would be extra charges (such as flights, etc) that we would incur, which then made me decide to opt out of the vacation. He then said that the port fee i authorized earlier was non refundable. This upset me because I was not told before the transaction that this was a non refundable fee. They have the conversation recorded, so there clearly is no record of him telling me that it was a non- refundable fee. The sales rep told me that they would not do anything about it and that i would have to take it up with my credit card company, and in the meantime, they would cancel my vacation. However, the next day an automated message called my boyfriends phone again asking us to confirm our vacation. So it was clearly not canceled. I want my money back, because this was sloppy selling to leave out important information that would have changed my decision. My credit card company does not have the power to remove this, and they referred me to this website. This was extremely bad business and I am very unhappy to have to be going through multiple measures to get my money back.

On 7/17/13, my husband and I were registering our new credit card from Chase. Somehow this call was hijacked or something, I did not call them, they were just on the line and we thought it was an offer authorized by Chase. We know now, this is not the case. We talked with CCL and they boosted about the cruise and so on and so thinking this was an offer from our bank, we agreed and booked this cruise. CCL even sent us an email explaining about the cruise and its legitimacy. We were told we would receive paperwork and a travel voucher for our cruise and a reference number of RI071713-121 and were told we had a full year to take this cruise. After the letter came in the mail and we tried signing onto the website under our unique web address and using the reference number and password, we had a difficult time getting on the site. Since having such a hard time, I did an internet search to see of there was an alternate site to logon and that's when we saw all the complaints regarding CCL and their practices. One even stated that her family had driven from New Hampshire, 2 adults and 2 children, only to be turned away from boarding the ship. So, in light of these complaints that seemed to overwhelmingly negative and not finding one positive remark about CCL, we decided we needed to cancel this reservation and get a refund. On 7/19/13, CCL charged 2 separate amounts to our credit card, one for $118.00 and one for $996.00, for a total of $1, 114.00. On, 8/12/13, I called CCL customer service and was transferred to Frederica, then Sharlisa and so on and so on, only to be told "Too bad, we will not refund your money". After further research, we found a post from a woman that said how she finally received her refund. On, 8/12/13, I sent a certified return receipt letter to CCL in Ft Lauderdale and it was signed for on 8/14/13 by, it looks like Joseph or Janet Ocato, I am not sure as the signature is scribbled, I received the return receipt from USPS on 8/19/13. We had yet to have any correspondence from CCL regarding a refund. Our request for a refund was within a 30 day time period. We would like a full refund of $1, 114.00 from CCL.

I received a call from Caribbean Cruise Line. The female on the phone asked my if I would give my opinion on the Republican verses the Democrat's and how I felt about the job they are doing. I went along with her for a few minutes until she asked for my credit card...seems it would cost 118.00 as well...That's when I had enough and laughed and said, I'm not giving you my credit card number-and that's when I hung up the phone!

Caribbean Cruise Line How to Get Refund

If you have been suckered into buying a travel voucher from this company, as I was, and would like a refund, here is how to go about getting a refund:

1. Send a written request via USPS certified mail for a FULL refund of the exact amount that you paid. In return, say that you will gladly have CCL cancel your vacation voucher(s).

2. Fill out an online complaint, including a request for a FULL refund, to the Better Business Bureau of Fort Lauderdale. The Better Business Bureau will immediately send your complaint to CCL, who will have 30 days to reply. You will receive a confirmation that your complaint was sent to CCL via e-mail

3. File an online complaint with the Florida Division of Consumer Services. CCL will have 30-60 days to reply to this complaint. You will receive a confirmation that your complaint has been sent to CCL via post.

How the process worked for me:
After multiple salespeople lied to me on the phone, saying they could not give me a refund, I sent complaints to the BBB of Fort Lauderdale and Florida Division of Consumer Services a week after my initial purchase. Two weeks after my initial purchase, under CCL's FAQ page, I discovered that the only refund requests that they will accept are written requests sent via certified mail. The day that CCL received my certified mailing (I received a signature card back from USPS dating when CCL received my letter), the full amount of my purchase was refunded to my debit / checking card. I do not know if CCL would have honored my written refund request had they not already received formal requests from the BBB and the Florida Division of Consumer Services on my behalf. In total, three weeks elapsed between my purchase of the travel vouchers and when the refund transaction completed in my bank account.

*A final note:
Under Florida Law, a seller of of travel vouchers MUST refund a travel voucher purchase if the request for a refund is made within 30 business days of when the consumer RECEIVES the travel voucher (which, if the travel voucher is received via post, is a later date than the actual purchase date). My refund request was made during this 30 business day time frame.

If you make a refund request outside of the 30 business day time frame, you are not entirely out of luck. Check out this other complaint for an example of a consumer who was refunded, with the help of the BBB, outside of the 30 business day time frame: http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/caribbean-cruise-line-vacation-c351013.html.

Hope this helps anyone who has had a terrible, belittling, and frightening experience with CCL, as I had.

I followed this thoroughly but didn't send a letter directly to the company. According to BBB, I will be getting a refund from the company. Just be patient and follow the instructions. FYI, I bought this over a year ago. I have proof if anyone wants to see the BBB response from the cruise line.

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam vacation, misrepresentation of offers

We have had our vacation planned for over 18 months and finally got our itinerary. They refuse to send it to you sooner that 14 days before vacation because of the misrepresentation of the travel provisions and the added charges required on the stay. Our trip was to begin in Fort Lauderdale, FL at a Ramada Inn on the beach-which turned in to a Ramada Inn in Tamarac, FL-15 minutes from the beach. Being a member of the BBB bureau, we have not found this vacation package. These people are "quick take artists" and might as well be pick pocket specialists. The additional charges just keep coming. I fell at work and had to had surgery on my knee. We called to reschedule with documentation from my orthopedic surgeon, and was told by an agent that we had just forfeited our vacation package due to a time limit that again was misrepresented to us. We tried to make this right with an extension, but was told that there were no other options. I was a travel agent for 5 years and know the vernacular and the right questions to ask. We were LIED to and MISLED

Caribbean Cruise Line DISGUSTING AND UNPLEASED!

DON'T DO IT.
My husband and I bought this cruise package for $498.00 in monthly installments and then paid the $198.00 port fee when we traveled for the first time with Caribbean cruise line. The rooms had soiled bed linens, spiders, mold, hair, and cracked foundations and we were only refunded $198.00. This was the first and last trip we are ever going to take with caribbean cruise line and wanted to know how would I get part of the $498.00 back or does anyone have the CORPORATE NUMBER FOR CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINE?

Caribbean Cruise Line False Advertising

I received a "Free Cruise Voucher" in the mail today from Caribbean Cruise Line. Their first mistake. I never "win" anything like that and I don't get "selected to participate in" anything but surveys and scams, so I was already skeptical, but there was still a glimmer of hope. I checked them out with the BBB and guess what? They are not supported, reccomended, or "insert positive comment here". Next I went to the web so see if anyone else had been taken advantage of by this scam. Sure enough, the complaint board was filled to bursting with stories of people who had called the number to activate the voucher because they were hoping for a once in a lifetime adventure. This company should be closed to open a hole for a new and better company just waiting to take its place and those sales people should be locked away for praying on people with the hope of something amazing happening for them. All this does is spred distrust and disappointment in the travel industry, and with so many people finding they have a tight budget these days, the travel industry needs help NOT hindrance.

Caribbean Cruise Line Lousy cruise

I went on this cruise with my 78 y/o mother and sister. Our memorable pictures sucked, we coundnt uase a curling iron, rooms were very small and i paid for up-grades thru out our planning. We were herded like cattle, when we used the rest room we coundnt flush toliet papper no matter what was on it, the crew was to empty trash twice a day, our room smelled of bm.Room sevice we tried 4 timesw. Once i was told at 5am i couldnt get anything till 6am, other time all we got was towels which they wanted you to reuse.Coudnt recharge your phone, they stated water was free but unless you drank the tap water in your room it was 3.75 per bottle.Food served on the upper deckhad flies in the food cheese was out there so long it was sweating, so were the other passengers, the were sweating all over the food, using their hands and putting food back once it hit the plate, coudnt get a cke to save my life. Part of this fabulouse trip was we spent one night in the ramada in ft lauderdale, which was in a bad neighborhood.Rooms stunk no room sevice there! This companny needs to be putout of business. They also charged us 36.00 tho go on a bus tour in the bahamas, that really sucked for two hours we saw were the richest people lived there was 2. Then we saw the hotel that used to be in 2017 when they were hit buy a tropical storm. Then we got dumped off to shopping in what looked like the ghetto!Nasty! We took a cab back to our boat.We paid also 20.00 up front for tips thats 60.00 for the three of us, that was two meals and a set of towels. I think anyone that was on this cruise 6/12/10 should have all their money returned.

MY wife had Caribbean Cruise lines make and unsolicitated call to our home. They offered to sell her a three day and two night cruise on this new cruise ship. She wanted to get me something to help me relax just for a weekend. We decided we were going to finally take the trip and when she called for the reservation they stated that we had to go to Ft Lauderdale for the tickets. The problem is that we live in Port St Lucie and the ship was leaving out of West Palm Beach. So we would have to drive two hours out of way to get the tickets. I want everyone to know don't be fooled by these telemarketers that these companies get to call you at home. There is ALWAYS a catch. Don't be fooled

I was contacted for promotional cruise aboard Celebration out of West Palm Beach. I paid the $118.00. When everything was explained to me, I was not advised that I would have to drive to Fort Lauderdale to "pick up vouchers" because I could not board without them. When I called to question, I spoke with "Richard" who was not helpful at all and would not even let me talk to a manager. He told me I would have to wait until after the cruise and write a letter. He was rude and not helpful. I dont know what they are trying to pull, but I was told when I first called this was not a timeshare pitch.

www.grandcaribbeancl.com and "Bahamas Celebration" cruise is a SCAM! I really regret that I agreed to participate in their promotion. There is no way to get your money back after you gave them the credit card number. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! Sales people are very pushy and you can not think about participating in promotion, you have to make a desicion NOW! You will spend tons of time on the phone with them because they constantly transfer you. Representetives become pretty rude after you pay them. I tried to reach manager for couple weeks but always heard: "You may try to reach her later". And there is A LOT OF HIDDEN CHARGES!

We moved 4 weeks ago and the phone rings everyday regarding a Free Cruise, I always just ignore ythe phone call. Today finally picked up and they offer a 2 night cruise to tha Bahamas everything included, meals and everything. they had options of extending the time and you have 18 months to use it... but you have to register with 59.00DLLS a person for Government Port Taxes, that i was supossed to be getting half price off. They ask for my credit car information, after saying no I was out of the deal, was not allowed to consult with my husband or decide in the next few days, it sounded like a scam.

Caribbean Cruise Line SCAM -- sKam

First off I'm an experienced cruiser mostly with the legitimate cruise line ROYAL Caribbean Cruise Line, underscore the word ROYAL. They are for real, legitimate and ethical -- FIVE STARS FOR SALES AND SERVICE (RCCL). The outfit calling itself Caribbean Cruise Line is phony baloney with one heck of an advertising budget! I live in the Washington, DC area where during the fall, 2009 CCL ran enticing television commercials for free three day Bahamas cruises, a contest, I WON! WHOOPIE DOO! I smelled a decaying rat and I was right. But I played along! They called incessantly == Thank the good lord above for caller ID. After I received my initial call from these putzes wanting me to pay by credit card approximately $50.00 for each of two "port taxes" I didn't commit to anything and certainly not my credit card number. You shouldn't either. Anyway after that initial call I watched my caller ID - got their 800 number and listened to their pitch which was the same as reported by other consumers. They even had their flunky telemarketers, male and female, call me from their private residence numbers (BONAFIDE FLUNKIES!) all leaving the same message. It felt good knowing I was running up their phone bills! Of course, I never answered the phone. My online investigation revealed that online cruise and travel agencies don't even list CCL "cruises" and nobody ever heard of them. CCL == SCAM. AND Carmen Electra you're as despicable as these thieves for representing scammers you know nothing about. SHAME ON YOU CARMEN ELECTRA!

Caribbean Cruise Line Total Scam!

So this company calls my boyfriend the other day saying, "Hey! You've won a free 5 day cruise!". They don't give him any details about the cruise other than it goes to the Bahamas and that we can take the cruise from now up to 18 months. He tells them that neither he nor I have enrolled or registered to win a "free cruise" anytime soon. They tell him they will call back in 2 days. A week or so later they call him back to book the cruise (which once again they have given little information except for the fact that its in the Bahamas). They informed him that he need to only spend 50 odd dollars on the person fee (for 2 people) and that they can do that over the phone. He told them that I had his credit card and that he would be more than happy to call them back later. They said that they would call me if he would just give them my number. He is a smart guy and didn't. Of course as soon as I figured out that they asked for his credit card over the phone (which is a big NO NO anyways. Unless its a major company that you use regulary such as AT&T, Etc.) I KNEW it was a scam. I asked him to give me the number to call because he couldn't recall the name of the cruise line off the top of his head. I call the number [protected]) and get the name of the cruise line and then hang up before I chew them out for taking people's money! Lo and behold I google the name and its a SCAM. So I figured that the LEAST I can do is spare someone the pain of getting hard earned money stolen from them while these guys go around calling people and requesting credit card info over the phone! DONT DO IT!

This is a scam! The only thing the operator was interested in was if I had a credit card or debit card! When I told them that this was a scam he got a bit upset. I asked him to remove my number from their caller list. Again I told him that their business is a scam and he hung up on me.
if a company is 100% legit the representative shouldn't get upset and hang up the phone when people say that their business is a scam. Also all the reviews online point towards a major scam with this compnay. so PLEASE folks stay away from this company! NEVER give your personal info (ID number, full name, credit card #, SSN, SIN, ...). If you give them this info you could be the target of ID theft or other scams!

Caribbean Cruise Line scam

My wife recieved this cruise voucher in the mail and it promised a $1300 value cruise package. Well it ended up being $799 plus they took $399 out of our account right away when it was supposed to be billed later. I was very upset and called the company back, they would not talk to me but only my wife about the issue and only refunded $300 of the $399 to put the "fantasy vacation" on hold. I tried numerous times to get the manager or lead person but to no avail. So now we are still out $99 and frustrated to the limit.

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam charges

Received a Free Cruise Voucher for Caribbean Cruise Line and listened to entire pitch about the cruise and stay in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Nassau Bahamas and stay in Orlando Florida and Las Vegas NV for the future. After saying how great that would be I was told it would all be $899.00 plus $99.00 a piece for port taxes per person I asked what happened to the FREE cruise and was told that the cruise was but the hotels and such were not. Since my husband has a kidney disease that is eventually fatal I fell for the whole thing wanting to take him on a short trip away from home but realized after spending the money on our limited income that it was a ripoff and and the $1300 voucher amount was designated to be spent exactly where they wanted it to be spent. Supposedly there is no way to get out of it, but we really can't afford this on fixed income and I feel for the usual pushy sales push wanting to do something great for my sick husband. Shame on these people!

CARRIBEAN CRUISE LINE DEFINATELY A SCAM. WATCH YOUR MONEY! My mother last July booked a cruise with Carribean Cruise Lines to be used within the next 18 months. That's all we know except that she never received her package. She died on Dec 31/2010. We called on Jan 27, 2011 to get money back and was told would send package to see what it is but We told them we wanted credit. Told that was fine. today I called again because still had not received credit and told not possible. Had ten days from time package sent out which she did not receive. Told they can't control what our country does for mail!?!?!? How low can you go as to not give credit when she has died. I cannot believe what has gone on here. I will make sure everyone I can knows that this is a scam and don't buy anything from them.

I was stupid enough to fall for this scam. Although I did not realize it until they had my credit card info. After booking with them over the phone for $785. I researched Caribbean Cruise and found out they have an F rating on BBB and there are tons of complaints against them. After a restless night of sleep, I called them the next morning and cancelled everything. They said they would refund my money back to my credit card, but only after them trying extremely hard to reconvince me. About 2 hours later I got a call from my banks fraud department. I found out my credit card had been hacked and someone had tried to make purchases for about $1400. Luckily my bank realized someone had stolen my credit card info and they declined the transactions. So beware that not only is this company ripping you off, there employees are stealing your card information. I learned the hard way but luckily my credit card was watching out for me! Someone needs to shut this criminal operation down!

I cannot call is a scam, but I can say they are dishonest people. They love you when you're buying but they fail to tell you upfront about their unrealistic refund policy. I have NOT set dates for my cruise, or my vacation. I merely needed to cancel the package, that's it. Nothing was planned but I just got off the phone and they want me to sell it to someone else. Excuse me? I am not paid by their cruise lines to sell their vacation packages. I am a consumer. They get to create these ridiculous policies, I have to create mine and let them know I will fight them with all I have to prove a point. When I do work for a client in my business, if I take a payment upfront, you refund the money if they don't utilize my service. That's just common sense and good business. These people have not heard the last of me.

I know this is late, but I thought I would inform you that they've cleaned up their act quite a bit. I paid for the big 6-night package and then went online to read thousands of horrible reviews and complaints. I decided right away I wanted to get my money back. I had to wait until Monday to call them since the customare care office was closed on Saturday when I booked the trip. But on my first phone call I was able to get them to cancel the reservation and issue a refund. I had to wait on hold twice, once for about ten minutes, and listen to their pleas for me to change my mind (they also offered to cut the price in half), but after repeatedly telling them I'd like to cancel, they did. The whole ordeal took about 20 minutes, and it was much smoother than I thought it would be. The three different people I spoke with were cordial enough, even after it was clear I wasn't going to change my mind. I guess 4, 000+ complaints and a D+ with the BBB made them clean up their act... They're still pushy, but I think that's just part of their business model. How else would they be able to talk people into a cheap cruise where you're forced to sit in on timeshare meetings?

I received a Caribbean Cruise redemption voucher in the mail that was stamped FREE COMP'D PER POINTS REWARD DEPT with a $1300.00 voucher. The voucher looked pretty real so I thought I would call and at least listen to the pitch, which I did for about twenty minutes, the salesman even named about five or six celebrities I could possibly run into, like thats a selling point. I could hear people in the background laughing and cursing, didn't at all sound like a professional place. Bottom line was a trip to Forth Lauderdale, Fl with a couple days in Orlando, a three day cruise to Grand Bahama Island and a couple more nights in Palm Beach, for two adults the cost would be $899.00 and for a child under the age of twelve $99.00. Catch is they want your credit card info over the phone and right then, when I explained I would need to speak to my spouse before I could spend that amount of money, I was told that after we hang up the offer is no longer valid. Reg flag for me, its crazy to give out your credit card info over the phone and why would they need it now...I should be able to think about it and get back to them if its something I want to spend my money on. When I told the representative I felt it was a scam and that I had just looked at this website, I was told "well there maybe alot of negative comments but the people do actually get to go on a cruise." Gee sign me up then...I told them I would rather pay full price for a cruise I would enjoy than to be robbed and hung up. Nothing in life is free!

I do not believe this is necessarily a scam, but it is on the very outskirts of being legal. i received a voucher in the mail, and out of stupidity, I called them. The sales person congratulated me on my winnings. I asked if it was a scam, and she gave me a million and one reasons why it was not a scam. After paying $516 dollars, which were for port taxes and an extended stay package, I ended the call. I began to have second thoughts, talked to my husband, and called back within an hour. The representative hounded me about why I would give up such a great deal. He refunded me 75% of my money, and told me to sleep on it. If I still felt the same way, call back and he will refund the rest of it. I did just that. I called back and went through three or four different people until I talked to Blake. He asked me why I would give this up and blah blah blah. Pretty much making me feel stupid for passing up such a great deal. After a lot of attitude on both sides, I got my full refund. Now, I am hoping it actually gets deposited into my account. Just beware things are not always as they appear.

I have sent out this email to the company and this site has the most feed on the subject I am concerned with. Please send any responces you may have.

To Whom it May Concern,
Today I received a voucher in the mail for a free cruise to the Bahamas. I called out of curiosity, and was asked to give my credit card information over the phone to pay the port fees and taxes. This came to 217 dollars. Now for a cruise this is not at all a bad deal, but I am concerned to give out a large sum of money over the phone without having received little more than a small pamphlet of promo information. I gave a unusable credit card just to see if you were holding it as a reservation spot or going to charge me. Obviously the immediate charge expresses some concern since I am suppose to have 18 months to even use the vacation, and make my reservation sixty days before I can go. I even expressed how much more sense it would make to pay only once you are ready to book your vacation and sure you are able to go. The marketer was not rude, but his only reason was so they could hold my spot. If I have 18 months why is there a need to hold a spot? If I call and the boat is at capacity couldn't I just call back at a later time as long as it's 60 days before the 18 months expires? If the company believes that is taking advantage of the deal, then why is the 18 month option available? If you could send me and type of privacy policy, notice agreement, or anything stating more detailed information about your offer or company, I would greatly appreciate it. I have researched the telephone number and website. The amount of negative feedback is immense and disconcerting. I would appreciate any reassurances your company could give.

Thank You For Your Time

I had the toughest time trying to get a refund with these people. They hounded me to death for a reason why I wanted a refund. I was transferred 4 times and each of the Customer Service personnel was rude. In the end, they knew (as well as I did), that because they are in the state of Florida, they are bound by law to refund this sort of package for whatever reason if no benefits have been received and it is before 30 days. Be persistent. If you demand a refund long enough, they get the point that you are serious. I got one - but it took me about an hour!

When i got mine today it went straight to the garbage. I'm not falling for that crap cause they probably from another country portraying you won something and ask your credit card info so they can clean you dry. i watch alot of America's Most Wanted and they had this guy in Nigeria that rounded people up and in a internet cafe they called people and scam them. they would learn to speak correct and act all business like and they probably would act like you after they have your card info and close your account and take all your money. They probably get mad easy cause more and more people are learning about the scam and they get mad cause they can't hit you. in a way i'm happy i don't have a credit card or charge card . If you wanna go on a cruise just go to Expedia.com or Price-line.com and book one. it's not free but at least you have peace of mind that the trip is legit.
