Cargo Craft trailers Ashley Paulk and their dealer MacCargo Trailers/Todd McDermott sold us a 36' gooseneck cargo trailer. They have committed fraud by billing us for torsion suspension and providing spring suspension they did this with full knowledge. This was over $400.
They had a main bolt hanging out of the suspension hangers, discovered only by accident by me. This could have been the cause of a severe, possible fatal accident. They refused to pay the $350 we had to pay out of pocket to a mobile on site trailer repair man for repair and inspection.
The cross beam on the front of the gooseneck on this trailer had two huge rips in it- a total hazard. This was an additional $300 repair/weld job they have refused to pay for, take our calls for or acknowledge in any way.
This trailer is bent and pulls crooked.
Prior to the bolt and ripping beams this trailer did not come with the spare mounted which we supposedly payed for. Kind of like the suspension. The spare they provided came on a used rim and was just thrown into the cargo area of the trailer. There was a rip in the side of the trailers alumimium siding. There was no door stop for the side door. This trailer had tons of screws bored through the underneath of the gooseneck about 1 inch long. The rollers they installed on the back end of the trailer were ripping off of the steel beam they were welded to.
The ramp door is supposed to be heavy duty it is not. The brake wiring under this trailer runs through a HUGE hole they cut with a cutting torch in one of the main beams of the frame.
These people at Cargo Craft have no regard for public safety and should not be in business.
Cargo Craft trailers are dangerous and poorly built. They need constant repair.
Todd McDermott at MacCargo, Kevin Palmer at Cargo Craft, and the owner Ashley Paulk are invlolved in a criminal enterprise to defraud consumers of their monies. They do not honor their warranty. They represent and sell one product and then knowingly provide another- this is fraud.
