After attending this university for 4 years with a 4.0, in my LAST course a teacher by the name of Sanaa Reynolds failed me. A kid with a PhD and an elitest attitude. She will not get the last word and I am moving forward with contacting students who have been duped by Capella University allowing predatory practices. I filed numerous complaints with the university and was told they are being reviewed. In the end they all stick together and nothing was done. However, I was advised several times by the university to take the course over. REALLY?! I am moving forward with a lawsuit and I am looking for others who have been victimized by this worthless institution. It was recommended to me by a federal official that others who have been victims of the potentially unlawful practices of this university join forces. Please flood this site with your complaints allowing the powers that be to see how many have been subjected to the negligent practices of this university. Do not attend CAPELLA UNIVERSITY... IT IS A FRAUD. Remember there is strength in numbers and the fight for justice has just begun.
That is my complain and NO IT WAS NEVER RESOLVED AND THE INSTRUCTOR IS STILL THERE!
Also why was RESOLVED given and no action has been taken against this instructor and here we are almost ten years later and she is still there and Capella is preying on innocent people who are trying to improve their lives? If anyone has a course of action or class action lawsuit that is active please share your information. We cannot let these predatory institutions get away with stealing our money and treating us like trash.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I was lied to about the cost of the DPA program and now out of money and cannot finish. Tuition went up to cover e-books, then e-books were charged separately. Disgusted! Would love to join...jaysha_belcher@yahoo.com
It looks like these institutions can prey on us citizens and nothing happens.
I too would be interested, if there is a class action law suit! I intend to pursue legal matters on my own but would gladly band together.

I have a teacher name Sharon Taylor claims she's a doctor what is spiteful and unprofessional in her demeanor. I came to Capella with a 3.87 GPA first class I took I got 100% or 4.0 started her class with 100% on the assignments and then suddenly she gave me a0 with no explanation and now wants to report me to the code of conduct board because I questioned her on the Zero my next grade was a 60 percent. And nobody to talk to nobody to ask about it nothing

Please include me in your class action suit. I received a MS in Education and was told that I should continue on to a PhD program in Education. I did and after all the money and time I still do not have my Doctorate in Education. I went through the whole program, only to fail the Comprehensive Exam. I really don't believe I failed the exam, but two of the three readers did not like my answers. I have tried to go into another program, but they want me to pay more money claiming the courses do not transfer. I am beyond frustrated, and I do not think I should lose all this money and come up with nothing. Please include me in any class action that gets started. 5 years at Capella and no degree. Enrolled me in course they knew I would fail. Told me their courses are designed so no other school will take credit for them and I better keep going because "they wouldn't get my financial aid" Lied repeatedly about what the curriculum was. This university lied to me about the length of the program to begin with and now will not help me find placement for my internship even though they claim they will provide help from the get-go. I have been stuck for over a year in this process and am severely behind on my graduation date even though I was previously attending time and a half. I have emails from the school and a professor stating "we have internships placed in Arizona so I know it's possible" as a response to my concerns back in February.

I am interested in accountability and increased oversight on institutions who are not adhering to ethical conduct and count me IN on any and all actions to hold their feet to the fire. Higher education is in need of change and transparency. If they get the Title IV funding then when students are placed in a difficult position ADR Alternative Dispute Resolution needs to happen with a neutral third party. Students' rights!

The fight has been going on for the past 13 years. The powers that be aren't doing anything on purpose. Too much money, so everyone needs to band together and maybe a firm of repute will take notice. If the laws were in place the justice we seek could occur. Thanks!

It is discerning that following four years of study, one hundred thousand dollars in student loans, and having a very good academic record, that I am dropped and told I am inadequate to complete the program. It seems that if I were not prepared to pass the exam that I should have been advised by my advisors (early on) to prepare further or to not continue on! At this point, I feel that I have been “conned” out of thousands of dollars by acquiring student loads to earn a degree that maybe I would have never received in the first place.
