Canada Post no parcels in one year and a half

i want to know if anyone else has had this problem i filed a complained against a postman for losing two of my packages and since then i seem him delivering to everyone on the street but me this has been going on for one full year and a half, i complained with the local depot nothing still is being done i had to reopen my ombudsman case i have no choice in addition to this i put a complaint with canada human rights because this is discrimination he chooses not to deliver to my address only i have on video delivering to everyone else but me this is not right something i believe is mentally wrong with this individual like get over it you lost the package ages ago i got over it be he chooses to card even small envelopes that can fit in my community mail box and the mullock postal outlet does nothing looks like for some reason there protecting this guys but maybe Human Rights can straighten this out when they get involved because I have a right to receive my mail like everyone else he wants to take this to court I am ready to do what ever I have to do this is like being treated like animal no more. If anyone else has encountered someone like this its in the newmarket and Bonshaw area he deliversYonge and Bonshaw let me know.

The issue has not been resolved yet no one called me back I was told that the supervisor would call back he never did. I truly believe if you have a complaint against Canada Post your situation will get worse before it gets better you may have to go outside to the federal government to let them know that this person chooses not to deliver mail to my address which is a case of discrimination I believe and at this point Human Rights is the only option.

Canada Post missing item

I received a package from the sender on December 22nd 2014 with the contents of the package missing. I called Canada Post about the missing item and they instructed me that since I am not the sender than I could not open a dispute in regard to this matter. They did, however give men a REF # [protected], to use when the sender opens the dispute.Upon contacting the seller about the problem, he instructed me that he would contact USPS about the problem "tomorrow", December 23rd. On December 24th I asked where we were at with the dispute with the claim and he told me " I'll find out what I can Fri, It's Christmas tomorrow and the Post Office is closed."

A week later on January 1st I again asked what USPS has said and his reply was "Filed a complaint with USPS, still waiting to hear back. Calling them again Monday." (January 5th)I called USPS on Tuesday January 6th to inquire myself and they told me that they do not have a report filed for a dispute on this package.

I called the local sorting facility in Welland to inquire about why they would send an open package to my house when the item that was in the package was clearly missing. He told me that he would call me back if thee were any other complaints from other houses on that same route. He called back and said that there weren't. My wife saw the postal carrier drop the package off in the mailbox so if the package was always in the possession of Canada Post than the item had to have been taken from an Employee somewhere within the organization along the transit of the package at a sorting facility.

It went from Syracuse New York, Jamaica New York, St. Laurent Quebec, Montreal Quebec, Stoney Creek and than Welland

Canada Post inept service

I received two delivery notices in my community mailbox for items that I cannot pickup until afternoon of the next day because the larger drop box were full of other neighbour's packages.
One of the items is a birthday present that arrived in toronto 4 days ago. It took only two days to get to toronto from california yet it will sit for two days because my carrier would rather spend 5 minutes writing out a delivery notice than take 30 seconds to drop it off at my house that passed by twice while I was walking to my mailbox.
When I called to complain the representative said that is the policy. These policies need to change. I should not get penalized because my neighbours had deliveries that took up both drop box spaces. Ironically, the two items delivered were a watch and a camera remote and would have both fit in my regular box so this is unneeded frustration from an asinine company.

Canada Post lost/undelivered package

My package was supposed to be delivered on dec 22 2014 and now it's jan 09 2015, and I still haven't received it. With the tracking option, I find that it is being held in my city. So I call canada post and ask them when and how I can get my package. Their response: we cannot help you. I have to contact the sender (Who happens to be in korea) (Bear in mind: what if I cannot contact the sender?) and they have to "open an investigation" (Whatever the hell that's means) with their local postal service, who in turn must contact canada post. Then only can canada post try to locate my package. Why should the sender or an international postal service do that, when my package is clearly in canada, and in my city?! This is the third time in the same month that canada post has failed to deliver my packages. I highly condemn this crappy postal service and advise people not to waste time and money with canada post, especially given that they do not give a f*** to do an effective job at delivery and locating undelivered/lost items.

Canada Post stolen money

This company is so bad. I will never use them again.
Within three weeks they have tampared with two letter and one parcel.
One letter was clearly tampared with and the other was completely open with scotch tape sticking it back together. Luckily enough there was not money sent in the first card, but in the second sadly Canada post stole money that was meant to be sent.
Then, I received a delivery note on the second f January which stated it was the 30th of December that they tried to deliver...what on earth?
When I went to collect it, it was obviously tampered with too
Canada post sucks!
Do not use them, especially over the Christmas period!

Sounds to me like a fired employee from Canada Post opened the letter herself (her own letter ) and is lying about them being open and money being stolen. Funny how she is the only "victim"

Canada Post stolen christmas tree

Don't trust canada post to deliver online products. I just ordered a 6 ft. Pre-lit christmas tree from walmart online for black friday which was a fantastic deal for $20. The only problem when I tracked the item is that it was being delivered by canada post on friday nov 28, 2014 but then stated on the canada post tracking link that it was delivered to my address on sun nov 30, 2014. No signature required. I called walmart to report my obvious theft by canada post and they instantly gave me a refund on my credit card stating that the item is now considered lost in transit. First of all canada post does not work on sundays and second of all it doesn't take 2 days to deliver my tree from mississauga to georgetown - more like 1 hour at most so this was obviously stolen by a canada post employee. I can imagine that I am not the only one especially now with all the online shopping deliveries for christmas. Shame on you canada post as my daughter was looking forward to putting up a new christmas tree but is extremely disappointed now. Thanks for nothing! Don't trust canada post and I don't know why walmart even uses canada post for delivering their products without having a signature obtained or holding them accountable for "lost products" which are actually being stolen. Wake up walmart!

Canada Post will outsource deliveries made during busy times, ie Christmas season for weekend deliveries. I often receive parcels purchased online that "should be" shipped by Canada Post and are actually dropped off by outsourced delivery people on the weekends. I am NO fan of Canada Post, but there is a very high probability that someone could have stolen your parcel from your property (neighbour, passerby, etc) Further, regardless of how far away you are from a distribution center, the purchase and parcel still need to go through the process and it could very well take 2 days to travel such a short distance. Although it's quite unfortunate that the tree was stolen, this complaint is pure speculation/blame game.

Canada Post stolen item

I had an item mailed from surrey to calgary this passed week via canada post. When the item arrived there was a sticker with a 1-800 number from canada post stating that the item might be damaged and if it was then to contact them. Under the sticker the box had been torn open and taped back together. The item inside was not damaged, it was stolen. This was a ten year old hard drive with my photos on it. When the thief discovers that it's useless, he/she will just throw it away. After contacting the number on the box they informed me that I was allowed to submit a complaint, the sender had to. This is my package, why shouldn't I be able to make a complaint? Why do we have a postal service that can't be trusted? Why can't I drop off a package with canada post and feel comfortable that it will arrive to the destination i'm sending it? Canada post should be ashamed.

Canada Post not delivered

I have sent out a package to someone in alberta for his birthday and canada post lost it. Never have they re-embourse me or anything. The cashier didn't even offered me a warranty. It is a month late and they can't even track my order. I've been calling them many times but they didn't do anything. They won't even tell me where the package is. I paid them to do a service and they didn't even did it.

Canada Post rude customer service

I have twice gone in to the Canada post office here in 100 mile house and both times the short black haired lady has been absolutely rude, she has absolutely no people skills, she uses a tone in her voice and the way she words herself when she is speaking to you is like your an idiot, it's very uncomfortable and uncalled for

Canada Post successfully delivered & not

I ordered an article of clothing off amazon. It was delivered from china and spent time in customs. After checking my mailbox every day for a few weeks i checked the tracking number to see if it was out of customs yet. To my surprise, tracking says "item successfully delivered" 15 days ago. It was not. I have a locked mailbox in my lobby. Normally, if it can be smushed inside they do, but if it's a bigger box they leave a notice and i come pick it up, no big deal. Neither a notice or package was ever left in my mailbox. Meaning the mail carrier either stole my item and marked it as delivered (I mean, what's to stop them?) or put it in the wrong box and a stranger kept it. Now i see on their website that the only thing i can do is contact the sender to file a ticket, i'm not able to. I don't really see how in these circumstances that will help me. I paid for the item, they sent it. It's very obviously cp that screwed it up. So angry.

Same crap here, ordered a lot of mtg cards for a lot of money, tracking says its "delivered", but its not! Neither it was at local post office...employees said 'item marked as delivered, so its not our problem'. I mean some ###ed delivery person could just throw your package into thrash bin, mark it as "delivered" and you can do nothing about it...Canada post service is the worst one i used so far. NEVER ever use non-registered mail if you order anything of value. So f..cking frustrating i cant even express it...((

I had a very similar experience with CP.. I had a couple books ordered online from Chapters, which has never been an issue. Online tracking says "item delivered successfully to front door". I live in an apartment building, its a small building so its not a controlled entrance, and there is definitely no front desk/management office. Usually if its too big to fit in the mailbox, I get a notice to pick up at postal outlet. We have a new woman on our route who is anything but helpful...I called CP and they basically told me "our system says you got it, so basically your problem"...wow. I thought they would attempt to help me, not at all. So I happen to see the mail woman the next day and asked her about it...she tells me she left it in the hall, as a "safe drop". How is this considered a safe drop?! On their policy online it clearly states a "safe drop" for an apt building is with management office. Yet complaining/calling CP does absolutely nothing, they leave it at the drivers discretion as to what's a "safe place". And apparently to her right in the hall for someone to steal (which they did) is totally safe. Never got resolved as CP just not give a f*ck. I was also told the sender has to file a complaint, exactly like you said, I paid them, they sent it...I don't see how this is Chapters problem. You have no choice but to deal with them so its their way or the highway. Worst service imaginable and an embarrassment to the country.

Canada Post lost mail

On april 11th, 2014, we mailed a $300.00 cibc money order to our daughter carol abernethy, box 84, glenboro, manitoba, rokoxo. The money order was number [protected], dated april11, 2014i issued at cibc, capilano branch, edmonton, alberta. It was mailed regular mail. I again checked with this bank on august 13th, 2014, and it has not been redeemed. On a recent visit to our daughter, she stated she had received mail dated april 2014 enclosed in a plastic envelope indicating their had been a mail theft in a regional sorting centre. Would you please investigate to see if our money order was part of this incident. We still have in our possession the customer copy of the money order as proof of purchase if it is required in your investigation. We would appreciate any help you could give us. Thankyou.

I too have had to put up with vindictive post man. I called to complain about him dropping letters all over the sidewalk that belonged to the next apartment. Just because I complained he delivers my mail all ripped, he doesn`t take the mail that is left on the mail box that tennants left there when someone else moved. He throws his garbage on the floor. When you complain Canada post does nothing about it. As far as I am concerned they can get rid of this terrible company. So I understand what your complaint is about. I live in Edmonton. The service is bad all over. People need to complain to the government as well.

Canada Post petrolia

I recently moved to Petrolia to take a job and so had to put in a change of address from my home in St. Thomas to my new address. the job fell through and i had to move back to my original address. When I went to the post office in Petrolia to inform them of this they had me put
in a second change of address instead of cancelling or amending the original change. What happened then was that my mail was put in a loop between St. Thomas and Petrolia. Consequently I missed my mail including my credit card statements which I know have a late charge against me and a mark against my credit rating. I am also currently living on social assistance and not getting my benefits has put my life on hold and myself further in debt just to make my rent payment. Thanks to a Canada Post employee who should have known the proper procedure in my case, I am suffering from not having any mail delivered.

Canada Post illiterate letter carrier

I recently received a registered mail notification from canada post.
The letter carrier cannot write the letter 'e' in fact it looked like an 'r and also a 'z''. This person totally misspelled my surname and my street address. How can this person obtain a job with the national postal organization and still be employed? What about their so called standards of hiring? This is appalling!

Reading, spelling and writing are above all other requirements the main components of being a letter carrier are they not?

I emailed canada post only to have my email returned, they seen unreachable and untouchable. I bet the royal mail in the u. K would not put up with this nonsense!

Canada Post does not deliver mail on time or sometimes not at all

Last March 2013 we moved into our new apartment in south Oshawa. Where the mail gets delivered into boxes by the main door, well everyday the mailman takes an outrageous amount of time to deliver the mail sometimes he doesn't show up till 4 or 5 if we are even lucky enough to have him show up at all, just this week he never delivered any mail one day and is now a day behind but is refusing to catch up and give us out mail from the day of (today is Friday but we will only receive Thursdays mail today) he even holds on to people's checks until the day they are suppose to have them, there are a lot of people on ontario works in this building an I ear them talk about how their checks get sent out a week before the first but the mail carrier doesn't give them their checks until the day of even if he had it before hand, isn't this illegal? We would really like something done about him but when we call canada post they either send you to different departments and give you the run around or they hang up on you.

Canada Post small package not delivered

On Feb 11 I sent a small packet containing a gift MP3 (as was stated in the Customs declaration required by CP) to Germany. I sent it regular mail although they insisted that using a more expensive service with give me a tracking number. The packet never arrived to Germany (did it leave the postal office at all?).
I called the Customer Service line and they basically said that they can not do anything about it as I don't have a tracking number.and no liability from their side for regular service.

Conclusion - If you want to waste your money (fee charged by Canada Post) and have your item not delivered(not sent, stolen?), just use the regular service (not sure about reliability of the tracked service though).
Why CP does not use Tracking number as a basic feature?
Is the business model to charge customers for regular mail delivery service with no liability at all? Do they have any quality of service metrics at all?

After one month of having sent the packet from Canada to Germany it was finally delivered. I am happy about this fact but extremely concerned that the stated delivery time which is 6-10 days did not apply for this case (twice the expected time - 21 days).

Canada Post delivery date changed

Privatize the canadian postal system!
It's garbage lately.. They state that your parcel (with a premium $) will arrive in x days. If it doesn't, well, too bad! If it makes it, great, if not.. Go f yourself.. No recourse!
Now we're getting boxes that we have to go to ourselves, (goodby home delivery) but jacking up their rates?
Why is it that I can order 1, 000 parts from digi-key at 7pm and have them delivered across the country next day for $8? (via purolator.. Owned by canada post?)
Again, privatize this money sucking waste of life!

Canada Post not attempting delivery

I have two parcels that were not delivered and the postman just put a notice in the central post box. I had a giant sign on my door, as I seen on the internet that the items were to be delivered today. It said " Canada Post" please leave on doorstep. as I was downstairs and had to come up three levels of stairs. There is no way he even came into the cul d'sac. As soon as he would've drove into the cul d sac he would've seen the sign it was that big. This is not the first time he has done this. I am handicapped and cannot run or even come up the stairs easily. I have a dog and if the postman would've knocked or rang the doorstep, my dog would've let me know that someone was here. When I pay for delivery I find it very unnecessary to have to sit and watch to see if he shows up, and then to have to waste my day to go to the post office that he drops the parcel at. Why am I paying for delivery when I have to go pick it up. I have also told this one postman to please wait, because I am always home in the AM, and that I have to come up 3 flights of stairs.

This is plain laziness on the part of Canada Post, it shows that they are too lazy to get out of their trucks and walk to the door, it is much easier to write a ticket and pop in a box and say they attempted delivery.

I am going to post to stop using canada post as they are too damned lazy to do their job. These are the two tickets for today!

I want the postman to actually attempt delivery, not just say he did.

Unfortunately Canada Post has a chain of events they need to follow. It doesn't matter what a sign on the door says. They need to follow protocol. Had they left the items on your doorstep and they had been stolen, whose fault would that be? ... think about it.

Canada Post delivery women ignored me

Delivery lady did not ring the bell, she only knocked... Thank god I saw her car, but by the time I got to the door she had my package in her hands putting it in the back of her truck. I waived the delivery notice just as she was in front of the passenger door. She looked at me, didn't do anything and went in the truck. I hurried to put my boots on so I could get to her truck thinking, silly me, that she was cold and didn't feel like coming all the way back up my porch but just as I was about to get down the first step, she looked at me threw the windshield, started the truck and left right in front of my face. Called canada post to file a complaint and told me that they'd get back to me. Got a call from the district postal service because he said that my complaint wasn't clear (Really are you kidding me?) and then said that he doubted that the employee was a regular and bla bla bla (Not true she's a regular I recognized her) and said that he would look into it, which I highly doubt. I'm waiting for three other parcels and I bet it's gonna be the same women. Can't wait to see her. I'm happy to be able to confront her now, and I won't wait forever for them to call me back. I want that women fired for her unacceptable behaviour.

Canada Post unreliable hotline staff and rude remarks.

I sent a parcel to canada, because the receiver and his brother went vacation when the parcel reached them and the parcel is now undelivered (addressee is not being known in the correct address) and they kept on asking when canada post is going to return to sender just one hr after canada post take the parcel and return label, and when receiver call the post they said return to sender, return to sender, return to sender.

on 20./9, then on 21/10 they put the parcel to scarborough Undeliver office without telling us that they would not return the parcel to my country, they even write in facebook to ask me to use long distance call to call from my country to canada post, wasting my phone fee and long distance charges (peoples IDD1579) and they kept saying that on 20/9, then on 24/10, and even on 7 November 2013, the parcel is returned to Hongkong, but actually it's in canada

today, I got my country post claiming that canada suddenly abandoned/destroyed my parcel when the truth is they ask me to find receiver to tell him to see when to take the parcel. this is canada post service. very bad, and phone hotline, that [protected] are useless staff except a guy who said that if you friend moves to windsor, just tell him to find canada post to take the parcel back, only one man is useful other staff are useless. the staff are overpaid. they should not exist in canada post to destroy people's trust on canada post. canada post should revalue the phone hotline staff (Esp females who claim that my parcel is returned to hongkong, china. as the girls are rubbish and useless.)

now the worst, my parcel is claimed to be destroyed without reasons. what is the point of hiring people like THESE?

It would be beneficial if you would submit your complaint via registered mail to Canada Post CEO Deepak Chopra, Canada Post, 2701 Riverside Dr, Unit 1200, Ottawa, ON K1A 0B1. Hopefully they can find their own headquarters, but who really knows.
