Camping World return of unused merchandise.

10/9/2016 I went to return an unopened and unused generator at the st augustine store 3 days after purchasing. The store manager stated generators could not be returned and it was stated on the receipt. I left and retrieved my glasses and read the receipt. The receipt stated unopened and unused generators could be returned within 30 days. After I pointed this out, the manager gave my money back. I wonder how many people he screwed who didn't read the receipt. I will never shop in any camping world store again. I will also let all my rv owner friends know about this also.

Camping World defective tires/safety concerns

Beware if buying a used unit from camping world st. Augustine. We bought a 2013 used unit and were assured the tires were fine. Pulled it home (40 miles) and 3 days later a tire exploded while the 5th wheel was parked in my driveway. I notified camping world with my concerns as all 5 tires were from the same lot 42nd week of 2012. Two weeks later we start on our first trip and 10 miles from our house we have another tire explode. Called camping world again for help but it was a saturday (Labor day weekend) and as you can guess they offered no help. They advised I call my road hazard company and file a claim. Six hours on the side of the road in the rain and $1400 later we were able to get the 5th wheel back home. The next day as we start back on our trip we see all the side panel damage caused by the 2nd tire exploding. Again called camping world and advise that I expected the damaged to be repaired and the 5 tires and the damaged rim reimbursed. Can you believe the gm ken stumpe tried to tell me we ran over something twice. Unbelievable! Then they come back with we were able to get the r/h company to cover all but $300 on the tires and we have reduced the body repair done from $2800 to $1700. They want me to pay $2k to get the 5th wheel back to the condition it was in before the defective tires exploded. I paid $40k plus a $7k trade for this 5ht wheel. If they would have said the tires needed to be replaced I would have negotiated the price down. Thank goodness neither of the 2 blow outs occurred while we were traveling over the shad's 2 lane bridge. This could have been tragic. Huge safety issue! Randy rahe with camping world has refused to to resolve this issue. I will continue to post negative reviews until my 5th wheel is repaired and I am reimbursed entirely for the tires. Terrible customer service! I feel they are only concerned with making a profit. It seems customer safety and customer satisfaction is not a priority.

Camping World customer service

Purchased new 2017 thor chateau citation- from the day we took delivery there were multiple problems with this new unit that supposed to have been thoroughly checked out. Getting ready for 1st weekend lp regulator quit, refrigerator not working, outside tv never worked, key missing which caused us to make 2 trips to mercedes dealer 1 to prove ownership (Required by mb) and 2nd to program computer for key, door sticking (Wrong screws installed in door latch). Called cw and multiple times no answer at reception desk and once connected to sales manager no help. 2nd trip now connected to shore power turned 110v water heater on and had a fire inside coach caused by the 12v signal to wh wired from the factory directly to ground. Back up camera still not working and after installing new switching device. Buyers beware any product from thor or camping world.

Camping World extended camping world service contracts

I purchased a 2008 Forest River Lexington 255 from Camping World on February 11, 2014. At the purchase, their finance manager also sold me the extended service plan along with a service plan on my tires and wheels. For a finance manager he was also a great salesman. I agreed for peace of mind. Extended service plan agreement number is 6168601.
Now for my complaint:
I sold my motor home July 11, 2016.
I called and left a voice mail with their finance manager and said I sold my motor home and cancel my service contracts, travel assist and roadside assistance. I included my service contract number. I called again the following week and was able to talk with and told him I sold my motor home etc. He said he would have to pull the file. After not hearing back from him I called every week and left a voice mail. I also left a voice mail with the GM. As of this writing I have not received any communication. I did get calls and letters from travel assist and roadside assistance asking to renew my memberships. It was a surprise to them that I sold my motor home.
The total cost for after market products was $6, 095.
Am I being taken for a ride? What a ripoff. I can't believe they treat customers this way.
I am requesting a refund from my cancelled service contracts.
Please help as I feel frustrated and don't know what to do next.

Camping World dometic a/c units

We purchased a new Forester class C RV from Camping World on April 8, 2016. On July 16th the Dometic A/C unit stopped working. (Only 3 months old). On Monday, July 18, 2016 we took the RV to Camping World & was told that our unit could not be looked at by the service dept. until Aug. 8th. We explained to the service dept. that we were now full time RV & living here in south MS we could not live in it with the temp in the 90's. We are 70 yrs. old. The humity is unreal. They repeated...Aug. 8th was the date we had to wait for. My husband 'stood his ground' in a polite way. He said he was not moving the RV until they at least would look at it. They finally agreed. Two days later we went back & were told they had to replace the unit. The unit was on back order. We've gone back once or twice a week. Still on back order. In the meantime we have been sleeping on the sofas at our daughters house. Thank the Lord we were in a park near family. 2 1/2 weeks now.
Last weekend we visited family in another town 3 1/2hrs away to give the family a break. We found out that the worst brand of A/C units is Dometic.
No wonder it's on back order! They don't repair, they continually replace.
Our unit is at Camping World, Biloxi, MS. Don & Barbara Jones.
We would like the A/C unit replaced with an upgrade to an Atwood unit w/o cost to us. We have been quite inconvenienced.
*****Thankfully we were not out of state away from family. We were scheduled to meet another coupled to begin our vacation with them. They went on. Don't blame them.!
We were also told the replacement would be another Dometic! No way!
PLEASE please help us.
The people there are not to blame...but they sell a product not worth the $.

Camping World - outdoor mat for under trailer awning

All I can say about camping world is buyer beware! I ordered a large camping mat for outside my trailer under the awning. It looked like a great deal at first. The mat was on sale for $34.95. Throughout the entire payment process, nowhere did the site indicate that I was paying in us funds. Even at checkout it said $34.95 plus around 12 bucks shipping...

Camping World penguin 111 dometic ac honda 3000is weatherproof outdoor bluetooth camping speaker

We contacted Camping World about a ac unit for our trailer to move our dogs across USA from the east coast in May 2016. I specifically said we are going with traveling in extreme temperatures to AZ that get 118 degrees to 122 degrees so I need something that will hold up to those temperatures. After all said and done, generator they sold me for over $2000.00 will not run in over 86 degree weather which states right on it of which they never disclosed that information to us. The outdoor speaker light was melted to *** within 1 week from the heat that they talked me into buying and installing. I trusted them with all this being they are to be the professionals in this business of what I needed and what I was asking about. In AZ with the trailer only being there 2 weeks if that, all the wiring molding that holds all the wire up from until across ceiling down the wall was laying all over the trailer which had can unstuck from the extreme temperatures even though parked under a shade tree and doors windows and all vents were left open to keep the trailer cooler temps with alot of outside air going in it.

I had to keep calling camping world on my way back to the east coast 7 weeks later letting them know that the generator will not work as well as ac keeps shutting off too triggering the breaker that was put in it.

The care less all people but one young lady named Savanna. So stopping every hour for 2500 miles took us forever and alot of stress on us as well as the dogs too. One of our dogs that was 21 mos old died from this situation that was Camping Worlds fault. I called corporate several times and all they do is have the Statesville NC location keep calling me and nothing gets rectified. The one guy on the phone prior to our dog's death said he dont give a *** were his exact words to me on the phone and says if our dogs die he ain't (his hick talk) paying *** to me on the phone. It is almost 2 weeks of me making numerous calls to the corporate with these issues and a dead dog and I still have NOT heard back from anybody from corporate with giving me my $5000.00 back that I paid out that did NO good at all plus the loss of my $3500.00 dog of which I had alot of money into her since we owned her. They need to give me $10, 000.00 in my losses and take their *** non working *** out of my trailer and pay me my losses of about $10, 000.00 plus to pay to have the air vent re-installed back inside of it. They should pay the suffering fees as well of my son getting badly burnt on their generator just to read the label on it within its working conditions. As said this place is a real joke, we have NOT heard back from any professional service person with this company at all and we are still waiting. Do NOT buy from them, go elsewhere, this company customer service and their professionalism really sucks too!

This place has made their own reputation themselves of what they do to their consumers with selling them products that will not work with what they need and are looking for then they do NOTHING at all about it in rectifying the situation. TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS AT ALL WITH THIS PLACE, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A SCAM AND RIP YOUR MONEY OFF, YOU WILL THANK ME LATER, TRUST ME!

Camping World roof

I am watching our roof leak AGAIN. We paid $7, 000 for new roof. We've been back countless times. They would not log it in so corporate would not see how many times we were back. We called main headquarters 3 times with the assurance they would at least return our call. No calls. Maybe calling newsroom will be next.

Camping World service calls never returned

I have tried 3 times in the last 2 weeks to get an appointment to have the Quik Steps fixed on a Dynamex Rev, since the stairs do not come out when the RV door opens. Had this fixed last year at the Camping World location in London Ohio; not like I am a new customer. I am not pleased with the Service response, mainly since I don't even get a response.

Bought the RV from Camping World in Akron, so shouldn't be a problem to get fixed at this Camping World in London Ohio since close to home. Akron location 200 miles away.

A call would be nice to get an appointment even if the London location can't get the RV in right away. No asking for much, just some Service follow-up and appointment to get this fixed.

Camping World long wait for repair and damage during storage.

Bought a 2016 Thor Freedom Elite from them. Water heater went out March 29 2016. Finally went in to fix in April. Had for six weeks. Tested it when I got home, still not fixed. Back in the next day. Had until June 1st, another two weeks plus. Picked up and left for trip to California. Within 45 minutes check engine light came on. Took to Ford and they found rodent damage to wiring. $440 repair not covered by warranty. Contacted Camping World and explained they had had it on their lot for the past month and a half. Was fine when it went in. In my opinion damage occured on their watch. General Manager denied they were responsible. Very poor service and lousy customer care. Will never do any repair work there again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Camping World at all cost.

Camping World 2010 eclipse attitude 5th wheel toy hauler

May 2016I traded my camp trailer 2008 Artic Fox in at camping World in Meridian Idaho. We went back and forth on the phone on a 2010 39' 5th wheel Attitude toy Hauler.
According to the salesman it had been gone threw serviced and was in great condition and was well cared for. He sent about 7 pic's. looked great. We did face time so he could show me the trailer. I agreed to trade my trailer for the toy hauler and set a time to pic it up several days later so they could get it ready.
.When we arrived in Meridian about 10:30 am they said to drop my trailer and I could pick the new one up at 1:00.
We finally got to see the trailer about 2:30 pm.
The toy hauler end had patches and it was trashed. I was shocked. The salesman that sold it to me skipped out on the walk threw and sent someone else. They got their manager and he said that was normal wear for the year. Mine was a 2008 and I said no mine was in perfect condition. He said I doubt it and he was sure he could pick it apart easy. So we went to look at my trailer. OOOps, He decided I never took it camping as it looked like new. Sorry Grandma took 4 little kids camping every summer and most the summer.
He said it would cost under $300.00 to replace the paneling. But would take them about 6 months .
They couldn't scroll the 3 tip outs out because it was parked to close the trailers. I took the trailer knowing they had gone threw and checked everything and it was good. We get home and loaded the trailer to head out for a week in the mountains. We went to open the back and you could see about a 2 inch gap in the back, the mount for the latch on the back of the toy hauler door had broke off. We had to drill it out and put a secure bolt in. We parked the trailer late at night and unhooked. The kitchen Slide out wouldn't tip out. The couch side made awful sounds. I put 3 grandkids on the couch and one with me in the bedroom. About 4:20 am 2 kids fell off the couch. I jumped up to see what happened. 1st step fell and hit the wall. Got to the lights no lights. found a flashlight went to start the generator and no power. hunted my jumper charger and went outside to check and jump start the batteries. looking I find one jack had collapsed and the other was about 12 to 15" off the ground and the trailer was tilted bad. Mind you this is a 39' 5th wheel toy hauler. I get back inside and start the generator to get heat for the kids and get them back in bed. about 6:oo am my oldest grandson (11) and I start blocking one side of the trailer and trying to lift it up so I can back my truck under it. 4 hours later we had dug a trench to back under the trailer to get it hooked on the truck. electric jack froze up. we finally get to a town about 13 miles down a dirt road. going 15 miles an hour because one jack was about 8 inches from the ground didn't want to brake it off. called CAMPINGWORLD SEVERAL TIMES TO COME GET THE TRAILER as I would not keep it, they sent a service guy over 5 hours later as we are setting in a pullout me and 4 little kids. He replaced the jack and checked a few things out and said to tow it back to Meridian when We left the mountains as there was several things that needed fixed. I let the guy whom I was dealing with (corporate) manager know I was returning the trailer and wanted my trailer and cash down back. He said he would get me in a different trailer no problem. My son and daughter took of work early and headed up with tools. They followed me back in to the campsite and the toy hauler door opens and comes down. my son is honking and flashing his lights latches on the door sheared off. Went threw 3 tanks of propane in 5 days and didn't even cook in the trailer. Air conditioner didn't work along with many other things. Monday we dropped the trailer at Camping World. I found another trailer better shape as they wouldn't give me my trailer or money back. Locked it up till we could figure it out. They opened the trailer with all my stuff still in it as I had no way to take the four wheelers home. The could have stopped the loan and re did it on the new trailer but told them I would trade the trailer back in. He had them submit for a new loan for over the price of the new trailer and was trying to say my $ 25, 000 dollars for the down was gone AND I HAD TO KEEP THE TRAILER and they would fix it Because I wasn't approved for the almost $ 50, 000.00 with no down. Called corporate and they would do nothing. REALLY. I AM 56 YEARS OLD. GRANDMA WHOSE DAUGHTER PASSED AWAY AND I ADOPTED THE KIDS. DON'T HAVE ALOT OF MONEY BUT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GRANDMA LIKE THIS IS WRONG. I HAVE WORKED MY TAIL OFF TO GIVE THEM THE LIFE THEY DESERVE AND TO TAKE MY MONEY AND GIVE ME A TRASHED TRAILER FOR OVER $ 40, OOO.00 DOLLERS REALLY

Get a lwyer and have the salesman who sold you the unit personally served. You should also contact your local news agency and see if they have a unit which helps out consumers with these types of issues. Good luck. Camping World has gone to hell and a hand basket.

Camping World trying to buy camper

We went to look at trading out travel camper in at Camping World of Chattanooga. We were looking to upgrade our camper for a fifth wheel camper. We looked at several campers the day that we were there and finally decided on a used camper that we really liked. The salesperson that assisted us that day was very nice and this is no way a reflection on her. They had us fill out the papers and they looked at our credit and came back with an offer. Of course we did not like the first offer who does. Then they stated to get them to think that we were really interested we had to sign the paper and give them a credit card which they would not run. Now that does not make any sense to have to give a credit card but whatever. We then left the dealership because e that was very annoying. On the following Monday my husband talked with Jay and stated that he was supposed to be there on Sunday to talk with us and had thrown his back out. Jay assured my husband that he would look at our deal on Monday and get back with him as soon as possible. Jay never got back with us. Another guy called him on May 27th and we were working on a deal and getting really close to the payment that we wanted. And then he just quit texting and getting back with my husband. My husband text him on Saturday with no response. He finally text back on June 3rd and apologized and said that he had been out of town moving his fiancé back from Memphis and moving back here. He was sorry that he had not gotten back with us and stated that he would check when he first went into work that day and he never got back with us. Robert called my husband on Friday morning and told me that he had some numbers for him. I then looked at the camper online again just to look at the pictures again and it stated that a deal was pending on the camper. My husband then called Robert back and he stated that someone else had already put a down payment on the camper. Robert stated that we could come down and put a down payment on the camper too in case the other deal fell through. I feel like we came down on May 21, 2016 and looked at campers and found one that we were really interested in. We both work full time jobs so we were counting on those salespeople to help us with our deal. I feel like they let us down in every aspect. They said they would get back with us but never did. It seemed like we were always pushed to someone else to deal with. I feel like now we are missing out on the camper that we really wanted because of all this. If the salespeople had just been honest and maybe forwarded their work to someone else while they were off it would not have happened. It seems like there is so much lack of communication and the customer suffers which in the end is us. Now the camper that we really liked is probably going to be sold to someone else. I feel like something should have been different. We talked to so many people and I feel like they did not take us seriously at all and I am appalled at this. If this is what your business is based on then its not based on much at all. I am very disappointed and I think that we deserve something for all these things. I am not sure what would be an appropriate resolution but we are willing to listen to your suggestions. I think that we just got the run around at this place. And we will not be hesitate in voicing our opinions. I would appreciate a response back as soon as possible. Here we are leaving on vacation Tuesday and thought we might have our new camper to use to utilize but I guess that will not happen. Thanks for nothing.

Camping World addons end of contract

We purchased a fifth wheel from Camper World, Draper, Utah . One in March of 2015. It was a 2007 Keystone Everest, The trailer was 9 years old, They added on a $2025.00 for fabric protection on a 9 year old trailer, really. They told us it was transferable to a different trailer if we sold it. Then they tacked on $1800.00 for tire protection, in case I got a flat tire while traveling. Really that's a lot of bad tires. Road side protection . Yeah. So by the time we were through with Good Sam and everything they had added on with a smile on there little faces a total of $ 5025.00. On the contract I know they did not fabric protector on it they didn't even sanitize the water system. After six months we decided to trade it in for a smaller trailer. A 2012 Keystone Laredo which was a 3 year old trailer, and charged me $2025.00 fabric protection, why would you put that on a 3 year old trailer I know they didn't do that ether I drove by the dealership the day before it was to be delivered it wasn't even moved from the spot it was at. This time I got charged $2100.00 for tire protection in case I got a flat tire. They charged me twice for the same coverage they told us was transferable so with Good Sam this one came to $5125.00 for a grand total of $10, 150.00 of worthless add ones I suggest everyone look at your paper work if you got leather couches you don't need fabric protection. Buyer beware they will cheat you with a smile

Camping World crappy rv and even crappier service

Bought a 2015 Thor Miramar 34.1 (36 ft) class a motor coach from Lakewood Camping world a year ago.
Absolutely no one would walk us thru the coach after we bought it to explain any features. Waited for hours and no help. Couldn't even get directions to get back on the highway to get home.
Left for our first trip within weeks and the levelers would not work. We were camping in west Virginia that night and slid out of bed.
The next day the fridge stopped working, awning lights quit and the steps wouldn't work.
Finally got to our destination in Oklahoma and had a local dealer (non camping world) fixed the issues.
Since then we have had chassis electrical issues (both chassis batteries had to be replaced because they wouldn't hold a charge). Awning only works when we climb on the roof and help it out. Doors on the interior have fallen off in our hands and doors come off tracks constantly. Tv antenna retractor also fell apart
Also, windshield wiper fluid motor has never worked.
We call and call Swedesboro Camping world since they are closest and tell them the issues and are promised a call back. Never get them. We call back several times and still no assistance.
Totally unsatisfactory way to deal with your customers. You had zero issues taking $30k down on this coach from us.
And now, I have a medical issue that keeps me from using my coach (severe Vertigo). We have contacted Camping world to sell or coach back and get the run around. Talked to salesmen "Eric" at least twice with promise to talk to sales manager, no call back. We call again and are now told they have enough consignments on their lot. Fine, check with other camping world locations to assist us. Is that a lot to ask? I even went online to your "we buy rv's" site and fill it out. No response.
I spent 24 years in the military to retire to this?
Even when we started down this road to total disappointment and took it back to our purchasing camping world, the staff was astoundingly rude.
NEVER will I recommend your company to ANYONE.
Respectfully

Camping World bought a used coach that was a lemon, now cw is ignoring me and refusing to resolve the issues

Purchased a used coach in August 2015 from CW in Bartow/Tampa with around 38k miles on it. Had problems with it since the day I purchased it. Took it back to the dealership immediately, and they had to even come to my home to pick it up and take it back to their shop.-took them 3 times to fix it (or so I thought). Leak, generator wouldn't stay running, carpets were supposed to be cleaned, (but weren't), etc. Now, the brake lines went out while we were driving (per the CW where it was towed to- all the lines are rusted through to the point where pieces of it broke off when touching them). I have only put 75 miles on this coach since I have owned it-and keep it in covered storage. I had to have it towed to a different CW. It is been there for 5 weeks now, because I cant get a response from one of the GMs at the Bartow/Tampa store regarding correcting the issues. I have emailed and left voice mails numerous times. I purchased the unit with these existing safety issues, problems, etc, (and they obviously didn't do any type of inspections on the coach before they sold it). They are refusing to correct the problems. My family and I could have died if the brake lines went out if we were driving any faster. Classless management, shameful customer service, horrible service department. I will be taking this further up the chain. I have all documentation, emails, photos, etc. Repairs for the brake lines alone are $2k, generator still doesn't work, and underbody of coach has existing rust (a lot of it).

Camping World rv service

We Left our Prowler 2007 trailer with the Camping World located at 1600 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015 on December 11, 2015. The work order was for $2226 worth of repairs and a replacement awning. Since we were leaving it for an extended period of time to have the work done, we asked if it would be safe on their lot. They affirmed it would. The trailer was there longer than necessary because Camping World ordered the wrong awning and it had to be redone. On January 22, 2016 our trailer was stolen off the lot. The Camping World associate said they noticed it gone at 6:30 am, but did not call the police until 4:00 p.m. that day! Our trailer was fully stocked and ready to leave for a trip we had scheduled. After 5 weeks of not hearing from Camping World we called on the claim to find out...Camping World takes NO responsibility. The negligence of Camping World to protect our trailer is incomprehensible.

Camping World misrepresentation of day/night shade fabric

We ordered a new night shade for our toy hauler. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the fabric sample online. The Camping world store in San Martin was no help at all, they referred me to customer service, because it was a special order. Customer service contacted the shade company and they sent a picture of the fabric we picked. I took a picture of the completed shade and sent it to Camping World. Their samples are a close up of the material, they don't show the whole pattern, what we thought was a criss-cross texture, turned out to be a bunch circles/water spots. There's no way the picture on-line comes close to the finished product. Anyone with common sense could see that. They offered a $30 dollar credit for a new shade, I don't think I should have to pay anything for their misrepresentation of the fabric. The shade was $80 +tax, so I asked, make it $40, we'll split it. No can do they said. They can sponsor NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series but can't cough up $10 more. They just lost a 17 year customer. And it's not just because of money, it's their refusal admit their mistake. I have Pan Pacific and See Grins RV right down the road. They will get my business from now on.

Camping World parts department

Wanted a part to replace a broken part. Ceiling adjustable vent. I brought in the broken one, part guy looked up and was asking me to look in the book and pick one I said I want the one that matches this one (broken example). After a bit of flipping pages he came to the decision to order one well I wanted two ok $55. dollars later. They called when they came in...Wrong color and did not match old part. I said that it was not right nor the right color, he proceeded to tell me that I decided on the part in the catalog and it was special order and I could not be refunded. I am out $55. You have lost a customer! Not my first experience with Camping World, the first one in Dothan Alabama cost them a Class A motorhome sale, I went to another dealer and bought. I tried to trade last month again at a Camping World in Louisiana and again disappointment. I will not be doing business with Camping World again. Just a little effort from your representatives would go a long way but the majority of my dealings have been with people who just do not have the right people skills nor the desire to ensure customer satisfaction. I am sure this is not all of your employees but I have had my fill.

Camping World during the period of body repairing of theft of personal items

On the 29th of November 2015, I brought my Damon Astoria into Camping World Of Katy, Texas for repairs to the rear left section of my RV. I was to have it there by 8:00 am on Monday morning and seeing I live approximately 93 miles I drove there on Sunday to make sure I was there on time. As I checked in Monday morning I told them my RV was my HOME and I live in it full time so Danny ( the service man ) said they would move it in the morning and bring it back out in the evening and hook it up so I would have Electricity. It took till the 8th of December to finish it. Danny brought the RV out around 12:45 pm and I then waited for Danny to prepare the bill which I paid immediately and proceeded to take my RV home. Upon entry at that time I noticed ( I have a large plastic jug ) in which I would keep all my loose change in and it was EMPTY. I immediately went back into Camping World and straight back to where Danny was at his desk and showed him the jug. At that time he said there was nothing they could do about it. Danny also said I signed a waver of loss for when I brought my RV in. I said they really need to check into this problem so it doesn't happen to someone else. He said he would talk with his service manager and get back to me. I waited for about two weeks and NO word from them so I called Danny. Danny said the his Manage said there was nothing they could do about it and that's the way it was left. On the 6th of January 2016 I drove back to Camping World of Katy to speak with the General Manager about this problem and he and I went into his office and we talked and he decided to make it right. He said they would cut me a check and sent it to me. On January 10th I started to get things ready for my Grand Daughter's 8th Birthday party and looked for my Nikon Camera and it was nowhere to be found so I feel that the person whom took my change probably took my camera at the same time. I remember telling Danny and the General Manager I felt the only person that should have had access to the interior on the RV was the PORTER whom would drive the RV in and then out every day and no one else. The employs that worked on repairing the damage shouldn't have any need to be inside the RV because all the repairs to be fixed was on the outside. I don't feel I have a leg to stand on about my camera but, I still feel they need to find out who was the THIEF. Your help I know would be appreciated by their future Costumers Thank you for your assistance, Henry Amor

Camping World absolute rip off regarding their service department and the extended service plan

I purchase a used 2013 Motorhome and was told that they would perform a $2, 00.00 inspection to assure everything was working. When I picked it up everything seemed like it worked but some things, like the water system couldn't be checked. 4 months later I take it on the first trip and it quickly becomes a disaster. Water pump starts making a very loud noise and has no pressure at the faucets, the roof has a leak, the front windows rattled so loudly that you couldn't hear the radio. The hot water tank makes a sound like it is boiling. So I bring it back to the dealer and have them make the repairs. They tell me that goodsams service plan will not cover any of these issue. I call goodsams and am told that all of the issue fall under one or another of the exclusion. So I ask why the water system wasn't covered and am told that it was do to contamination or corrosion. Not sure what else can go wrong with a water system. Asked them what is covered and was rudely told to read my contract. So chalk one up to very poor customer service along with an absolutely worthless service plan. Camping World service called to say it was ready and it would be $ 2800.00 so go to pick it up and the bill jumps up to $ 3800.00 and when asked why was told that was what it came out to be. Of course I just wanted to get out of there before I lost my temper. When looking at the itemized bill (which wasn't given to me until I walked out the door) I noticed double and triple billing. So I will of course never do business with Camping World or GoodSams. What they don't know is that I live in a campground community with over 300 campers. And will be posting notices through out the campground about my experience at Camping World. Just doing my part to see Camping World lose more customers.
