I just composed a detailed comment today (June 10, 2014) stating/listing the many, many complaints I have against CAMPERWORLD! I hit the "post comment" icon and the entire message just disappeared. I'm feeling very frustrated because I had just spent more than an hour composing this complaint! I don't have time to re-write it! PLEASE--would "someone/anybody who knows"--fill me in on the current status of CAMPERWORLD? I'm being billed $880-- for which I have received no correspondence "as to why? CAMPERWORLD is threatening to entirely cancel my "beneficial interest membership" w/o any reimbursement --if I don't immediately send $880 to them! Are they bankrupt? Are any of the camping sites still available for member use? I don't want to send these "crooks" another time until I'm able to obtain the current information about the current status of this "rip-off" company! HELP! I'M DESPARATELY in need of this information!

Camperworld members just got the breakdown of their lawsuit. Half of members are suing other half. Why did Glen hatch back one group and encourage them to sue Camperworld? I wonder. Let's see...he went to those meetings, he knew if he could divert you enough to sue CW then you wouldn't go after Camelot which was him. Or PREPSTER, which is him. He already took the money. He knew CW couldn't survive. 3 parks are in foreclosure and the rest will be gone by the time the arguments are heard in court 12 months from now. Yes, next October. He did it to you again. And you allowed it again. The money is with him, not Camperworld. He is way to smart for the average camper. He is a very good salesman, I have to give him that.
everyone needs to just walk away. The bottom line it is a failed business. Happens all the time. The lawsuits are silly. Old man hatch sues cause someone said something bad about him. Boo hoo. One half of Camperworld is suing the other half because they don't like the way things are being run. Great. Board, quit and let these brainiacs see how they can run a business with no money. Let the burden be on them. I guess I could understand if the world was effected by this but we are talking about a camping spot. If you sue anyone, it should be the original people you gave the money to. Who was that? You all know. That should be who you sue. All this other stuff is a waste of time and money.
I noticed that Brady Quinn the new head of Camperworld has come up with a scheme on how you can get out of paying future dues. Is that a joke? If you look at their website, they can remove all the comments that are posted so they must be negative. He is taking the same path that hatch did to make money today, to use today, and sacrificing the future. Do not send money. Move on. They are doing this because they need money today. So promising free things tomorrow, when you can't cover things today is utter nonsense and shows he has no idea what he is doing. It's the last ditch effort to get a few bucks in. I am shocked and all members should once again, see this flag and it's red color!
And to further inform you, the bank has called the loan due and payable, which they don't have, they don't have enough money to run one more month, and they are desperately trying to present the front that all is well. It is not. Have a great camping season, but it is time to stop sending money in their direction. Their board of directors has no experience in saving a company, let alone a non profit trust. They are led by a young man out of college, with no real world experience whatsoever. They have no sales program in place and over half the members have quit. They have divided into two factions with half of them suing the other half. So basically, Camperworld is suing Camperworld. Keep your money in your pocket and it is my opinion, before this year is out, they will sadly be another company that has failed in this recession.
Camperworld has fired president Paul Herbert because they think they can save it via avenues that haven't already been tried and retried. It is my opinion, and only that, that you should save your money. Camperworld will not be able to survive the lawsuits that they are currently in.
