Buy Low Auctions Fraud

This is a complete rip off DO NOT DO IT! I signed up like a fool. I entered the bidding game and lucky me IT showed I won then the timer started over for another hour. After I used 500 bid points the auction never closed. I called them and they said it must have been a "Glitch" I was called by someone to give my authorization to debit my account and I told them I did not authorize the charge that if they did it was with out my permission that I was going to dispute the charges. they told me there was nothing they could do about it and charged my card. I dont know why they havent been shut down yet. I am more angry at myself for falling for the scam in the first place.

Beware Beware I just wanted to see what bids were good, they ask general questions and
for a credit card. I believed IF I used the site I would be billed after the bidding. A day later my bank called and said money was withdrawn $159.00. When I called to get my refund, they flat out said NO REFUNDS the best they could do is refund ONLY HALF of my money. They insisted that I keep the 300 bidding chips I said no way and I wanted to speak to the manager or his boss. Their response was no one is in charge. So the moral of the story I'm still holding on to 300 chips and no refund STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE
THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAM Next stop is attorney general and bbb

I just sign up as well and for whatever reasons decided to check some opinions about this site and whoooo! Surprise surprise. I quickly reacted by simply closing the credit card account I used and my credit card company tells me Buy Low Auctions will not be able to charge anything since the account is closed... Got lucky! Hopefully, anyone that did sign up for this auctions use a credit card versus an ATM card and they can do the same thing. Best of luck to all.

RIP OFF is not the word. These people have strategically set up a name that is similar to a REPUTABLE site the SCAM people out of the money they work very hard for...in 2017 this should not be allowed. I plan to take this to its limit to make sure this doesn't to many more honest people who end up having to deal with these SLIME BALLS! They set up the screen so that nothing about $159 shows up on the first page and doesn't show up on the second page as you SUPPOSEDLY are signing up for an account to bid on items...I took a picture of my computer screen with no mention unless you scroll down to the bottom of the screen again, which reveals their scam... I will see what the FCC has to say about this type of practice... I told Ms. Paris that, I look forward to the day when she and ALL of the slime that she works with, and for, have to REAP the lost of $159 or more from their own pockets. Then they will know how it feels...Ford, BP, and all of the other have had to ant THEY WILL TOO!

THE BUY LOW AUCTIONS SYSTEM VIOLATED MY PERSONAL BAINK ACCOUNT WITOUT MY PERRMISSION AND WIDTDREW $84.95 TWO TIMES. WHEN I CALLED UP INFORMING THEM THAT NEVER GAVE THEM PERRMISSION THEY SAID THAT THEY SECURED PERMISSION THROUGH A THIRD PARTY WHO I DID NOT AURTOHEIRIZE PERMISSION TO DO SO. FURTHERMORE WHEN I CALLED THEM TO COMPLAIN AND REQUEST A REFUND THEY WOULD ONLY REFUND 50% OF THE FUNDS. WHEN I REPORTED THAT NEW YOURK STATE RESADENTS HAD THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN TO THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERIAL CONSUMER FRAUDS AND PROTECTION ESPICALLY WITH THE CITATION THAT THIS OFFICE HAS ON THE FBI''S BOARD, I WAS TOLD: "THAT S YOUR RIGHT."
THE COMPLAINT WAS OFFICIALLY FILED [protected] SEEKING PUNITIVE DAMIGISE TO COVER ADDITIONAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM THE UNKNOWN WIDHDRALS CREDIT DAMAGES.

I got ripped off for $99 and never was able to use the credits or contact the company to discuss anything. How can this company still be in business? Does anybody know how we can get our money back?

Strangely I cannot find that 'company' with the Department of State in PA, or the US
Trademark office (see bottom of their website).
This tells me that they are a "fly by night" operation.
As they are not willing to reverse the charge made to my account (Never signed nothing with them) I have only got the BBB as recourse. Having my lawyer in CA suing in PA is cost prohibitive. They know and count on that...
Class action against a website? From what I see is that they share their office with other companies.

I don't know much about the law but how about a class action suit against buylowauctions? If anyone knows the possibility of this please clue us in. Maybe we make them think twice about ripping people off or better yet, get them out of business.

People are not trying to buy vacuum cleaners. If you could read properly you'd see that people are complaining that they are not being given their money back within the 3 day period. One person complained that he/she agreed accidentally, immediately called the company who still would not return the $150. However, there is help out there, the BBB will help, as will the attorney general of the State where this scam is being perpetrated (in this case, Pittsburgh, PA). There is also the Federal Trade Commission. They all seem to agree that what this company does is illegal. If all else fails there is still small claims court.

You people are unreal. what is the definition of the word "trial", in the context of consumer products & services?

I'm sure you've all seen the Oreck Vacuum Cleaner infomercials before; "Try it in home for 3o days". If you don't call them to return it, you've just bought it. I don't work for this company, I'm just amazed that the second you read "TRIAL" it means to try something. NetFlix offers a TRIAL at the end of which, they charge you ... can you believe that ... a company charging you for their services. IF I didn't know any better, I might think they're actually trying to make money ... BOY am I KRAZY!

Well thank you guys VERY much for the heads up on this site. We can't afford to be buying laptops etc and I was considering signing up to get one for my boyfriend for Xmas but had a feeling that it was all too good to be true. Am so glad I decided to check before going ahead and signing up. It's because of people like you that go ahead and take the time to actually register a complaint that scam sites like this eventually go out of business. I hope that it doesn't take too much longer for these guys to be taken out. I can't abide people who take advantage of others and cheat and scam their way to making a profit. I hope karma plays a part in all of this. I have been scammed before on signing up for a tooth whitening trial - they gave my credit card number out to all of their "affiliates" and I had to contact every single one of them to cancel my "account" - that is where they take money from my card every month and I get NOTHING in return. It was the most expensive tooth whitening trial in history but I guess I learned to read the small print from it - I also never got my money back. So thanks to everyone for bothering to post - and from this I learned about Quibids and shall go and check that site out instead!

I signed up at $150.00 for 300 bids. The examples given of the bidding process and merchandise is totally false and the products offered are almost 100% gift cards on which you save $25 for a $50 gift card. There are NO refunds, even though they state that one could call if not satisfied with the site. As it turn out you can call till hell won't have you but the refund very minimal and dealing with their rude defensive "customer service" people is as aggravating as the site. Has anyone changed their card number.? I'm very fearful of extra charges being thrown at me and am thinking of doing that. And it is true that there is a shady way to present terms and conditions. An expensive lesson well learned.

This site is a total SCAM. I have filed BBB complains and contacted my credit card co.
Please look at the website, even they put term and condition or no refund notice on the left, there is no corresponding relationship with the card info section. If They still intend to charge my account, I will hire a lawyer to fight it. This is customer's mistake, it is designed trap for consumers.
